I was not pleased with my recent service at this salon. I was in there for a total of three hours to get my nails done decent enough to be able.to leave the shop. And I believe they over charged me 80$ for a service I wouldve paid 60 for anywhere else since Ive had this style done before. I was the only one in the shop after 30 minutes of waiting. And nobody came in.the rest of the time they spent on my nails. I ended up going home and putting rhinestones on them to make them a little prettier but I will not be returning. My nails are bumpy all over! Dude to using a harder nail drill that wasnt needed at all. David and another person maybe his wife did my nails together so I truly dont understand why it took them that long to complete a simple powder set.

Guy was very rude , didn’t understand what a French tip was and did an ombré dip powder with a white tip , when I told Him it wasn’t right , he got mad and told his boss . His boss looked at me like I was Stupid and like it was my fault . I told the guy to just take them off because I didnt Want his service , he begged me and begged me to let him redo so he wouldn’t lose his job , kind enough I let Him and I regret It more than anything . As you can see he put product on my skin , where it’s rough and 2 nails have already came off . It’s only been 5 days .

My first time in, everyone I came in counter with were so kind. David I’m assuming the owner... very charismatic and personal. Greets everyone by their name either because they are regulars or by the name scheduled for that time. And my nails are fire!This is my new nail spot hands down and I don’t feel like I would have to specify a specific nail tech when booking. Everyone seems to do great from what I’ve seen!

This visit surprise me. I called in to David Nail...when I arrived I signed in was told to take the very last chair. Some one will be with me..I saw in that chair for 35min. No one help me, there were several other people who came in after me and was given a chair and techs which were cared for and a couple came after me And left after me. I was very upset, that I was ignored..my feet in cold water soaking. I finally got someone to come and help me. This was a older gentleman he asked me what I want. I told him a dry towelHe gave me a dry towel I thank him. The owner came to me and told me to sit back down. This is what happen when you walk in w/0 an appointment..I responded I have a appointment for 10:30 this morning. It is now 11:10. I left and I will never go back and I hope for better experience from other customer receive at Davids Nail.

My sister and I and her family, including her daughter and her husband have been going to the salon for over two years now, even before the new owners took over. However, today 8/14/2021 was one of the worst experience we ever encounter.We had an 11 o’clock appointment and my sister arrived there first. When I got there they took me and decided to do my nails first. Then all these people came in after her and David the manager, decided to let them go in front of her. It was OK, my sister is a very patient person, so she sat there and wait for her turn for over an hour. After that, still no one did her manicure and I was almost done with mine. She decided to walk out and told them that she tired of waiting and was not having her nails done and she was not coming back anymore. I brought this to king David’s attention and I told him that he owed her a discount or a free gel manicure, he told me in a sarcastic way, that he owes her one nail and then started laughing.I just want to say, that I am not sure who he think he is but, the customer is always right and when the customer is wrong, just remember the customer pays your bills. So I say that to say this…I’m so glad that there’s a nail salon on every street corner and he is not the only game in town. I’m writing this review to say, if a person can’t respect you then they don’t deserve your money and go elsewhere. We will not be going there ever again.

Had a couple good visits, but now I havent been happy with my nails and the service provided for the past 3 visits. Lumpy acrylic, bad time management with scheduled appointments, bad pedicures, and when you ask for them to fix it, I got called picky, and got attitude along with rougher treatment. Theyre starting to charge $8 extra for clear coat which was always included with gel polish. For the quality of the service received, what they charge is not worth it. I dont mind paying for quality and always tip but looking for another nail shop now. I gave plenty opportunity for them to give decent service but left dissatisfied every time.

Customer service was good. I like that this nail salon incorporated social distancing with seating and work spaces. Before I got my nails done I requested a full set with gel. I showed a picture of what I wanted and David told that they could do it the way I wanted. When it came time to apply the gel color, the color I wanted was no where to be found and I was then told “it’s not going to be exactly like that we can do something like it.” I was very disappointed because I was told that my nails could be done the way I wanted them and turns out they could not do my nails anywhere close to what I requested. More than likely will not be going back. Below is what I asked for compared to what I got.

Im really disappointed with the services I got at Davids. I asked for dip nails ($45) with a rounded square nail. I got chunky and thick nails instead that are flat and some are curved inward. I didnt get any lotion or hand massage. Then my pedicure - the water was cold. I paid for the deluxe mango which was $63 and received no mango. Nothing was added to the water and only a short leg massage was done. The gel on my toes was done well though. I also didnt get any sugar scrub or hot towel... nothing you would expect with a DELUXE pedi. And my eyebrows! The lady left wax all over my eye lids. My eyelashes got stuck. And she was in the middle of doing a womans eyelashes and walked away to do my eyebrows. I felt that was unprofessional. Im out $118 and very unhappy.

It took a while because I didnt have an appointment. Service was good once they got started. Price not bad. Total $65 for deluxe pedicure and regular manicure. Unfortunately, I was charged $650.00 yes, $650.00. They voided it right away but I still have to go through out the day without my money because it wont clear until tonight hopefully. I will go back, they were very friendly...I will bring cash from now on and make an appointment. Lesson learned with a smile.

I asked for these nails on the right & got what’s on the left. I was scheduled for 930 am & the nail tech wasn’t even set up on time. It took her 3 hours to do my nails, & she charged me $130 for this!!! She overcharged.

This was my first time coming here. I decided to get my eyebrows waxed, as well as the baby hairs above my lip. I do not remember the ladys name but she did AMAZING! She reshaped my eyebrows to fit my face and waxes them perfectly. I highly recommend this place to get your eyebrows done.

Tried King David Nail & Spa for the first time and loved them! David did a great job on my gel manicure ($35), took his time but wasn’t slow. Nice hand massage also! Very friendly. I look forward to coming back.

Unlike other nail salons, when they say they can see you immediately but you show up and there is a wait, I was seen as soon as I walked in the door as I was told over the phone. Jeanine (girl from Germany) did a fabulous job on my gel manicure. Will be coming back.

It’s was my first time there and I am not going back. The guy in the first station which I guess is the owner, is very rude for no reason. He caught an attitude because I accidentally said a full set instead of a fill. He was so rude about it in front of everyone. He said “I asked you twice and you said full set but anyways okay” like mocking me and trying to humiliate me in front of everyone.Not profesional at all. The whole time I was sitting there , He made me feel so uncomfortable.Only good thing about this place is the employee that did my pedicure, her name is Janine, she was absolutely awesome I loved her , she was so nice and gentle. One of my toe nails was cracked and she went out of her way to save it 🥰 If you do decide to go here , definitely book your appointment with Janine.

As a cancer survivor or should I say chemo survivor… I have been told by others they wouldn’t be able to work with the lashes I have now… I am so happy and excited to see lashes again!!! They did an amazing job!

I came in about 30 mins before their closing (just got off flight ) & David insisted that it was ok & that they would take care of me in which they did 🙌🏾. Kathy was so nice but most of all she did the best set of coffin nails I’ve ever had in Colorado & I’m sooo happy I found her , I will never waste my money with any other salons again.-Bella

A nail emergency from an inexperienced technician that caused my nails to break brought me to this place. They were as accommodating as they could be considering I was a walk-in. My nails look amazing! Wishing I had a before picture of the mess another GVR nail shop did. Grateful for the great service and willing to fit me in as a walk. Nails back on track! See them in 2 weeks.

Final Update on DAVID’S Nails 9/18/20. 1 Star for TERRIBLE customer service. I had to make a really hard decision between having a good nail tech or good customer service. At the end I chose good customer service. Henry the nail tech is great and I am going to miss him. However, Tammy (so there is no confusion she sits at the entrance to the right, next to the front desk) is RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL. I have on multiple occasions seen and heard her scream and argue with clients and this time it was directed at me. She had the audacity of blaming me for Henry being double booked because I was 5, I repeat 5 mins late to my apt. Tammy instead of apologizing to the customer she double booked points at me and yells from across the room “it’s her fault” and some other none sense. She has done my nails on 2 prior occasions and her work is NOT good. If good customer service matters to you I HIGHLY recommend NEVER to go here! I have returned to DESIGNER NAILS located right down the st ask for Kathy. Check out my review on DESIGNER NAILS and look at their work for yourself). They provide EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and their work is 🔥🔥🔥 what more can you ask for.I found my new nail tech Kim, she did her thing!! I’ll be back...Update 6/13/19 my nail tech is out, but Henry hooked me up, he did the stiletto nails, ZOOM IN!!

Friendly staff. Nice and clean store. Kinda hard on my cuticles (nicked my thumb) and they got dip powder on my fingertips that hurt when they peeling them off. Other than that, I’m happy with the turn out.

I tried to support this salon but was let down on the 2nd visit had a 9 am appointment. The tech didn’t show up until 10 ( I didn’t mind because she did such amazing work my first time ) she did my pedicure and then without notice handed me over to another tech who did a very poor job needless to say my visit lasted until noon. A severe waste of time for me …. At any rate , I can say David is very nice but he would need to coach his techs about the etiquette of keeping a repeat customer who tips very well. Unfortunately , I won’t be returning .

Sue did a good job. She didn’t rush on me and made me feel like I was important and not just a dollar sign. Thank you! I’m ready for my trip.

David the manager is a great guy. Vicki, I think she is the only one that do eyelashes extensions besides David . So if she doesn’t feel like doing it, she will charge you a colossal price, what is not fair .I went back on May the 30th to get a full classic set, and I came back for a refill, and then she tried to change $80 instead $60 . What is unfair and ridiculous.Her customer service is mediocre, and she doesn’t how to communicate with the customers neither. Otherwise the rest of the team are very friendly. I am very disappointed.

David was so patient while removing my damaged old set from a different nail tech. He made sure my new set was perfect! I definitely will come back again and request David when booking!

They do a great job on nails but ok on pedicures... been a like 5 times didnt go back the last time they way over charged me.. 152$ for pedicure and rebate with 4 rainbow design nails was very unhappy with the price. Make sure you ask ahead of time what the price is or they will definitely over price you.

I went in with my nails all the same shape and came out with different shapes. The filing sucked my glitter nails are bumpy. I had one nail lifting when i went in the lady took the whole nail off to charge me $5 and didn’t even put the new one on the same as the other’s. My sister asked to get her eyebrows done they completely ignored her and never did them.

I have been going here since October 2018 and have yet to be disappointed, they have a great staff and are professional. They already remember who I am, within just a few months of going. Whoever does your mani or pedi always makes sure you leave happy, and have done what you asked for. They take their time and overall have done a great job for me. My nails last me 3-4 weeks usually after getting them done, that I go once a month (also because my nails grow extremely fast). They were very accommodating after I had spinal surgery, making sure I was comfortable. I wont go anywhere else to get a mani or pedi (gel). I cant vouch specifically for one nail tech because every time I go in, I go with anyone there and all of them have probably given me a mani and again, done well!I posted a few gel manicures I have got from there, and one picture after 3.5 weeks with a French mani showing how long my nails lasted.

I had a great experience today as I have had in the past. Today I made a last minute appointment because I broke my finger nail. They were able to get me in and took care of me. They are all friendly, welcoming, and they do a great job. Thanks guys. V

I know everyone has their own opinion and you can’t satisfy everyone, but I really like King David Nail and spa. The quality that king David bring is more than just quality he makes sure your comfortable and that your satisfied. They are short staff and I understand that so I try to make sure I alway call to get an appointment so I’m not inconveniencing them. They also did my eye lash extensions and they are amazing.

I have been using David’s nail Spa for year since I moved to this neighborhood. At first I try different nail spa and I must say I did not like the quality. The spa is busy because is good. Last week I need to do Manicure and fell in my eyelashes. I did not have appointment. David the owner and the manager moves things around that all clients will be happy and he Could squeeze me in where is no notice. David and his team at the spa it’s always taking care of their clients. I highly recommend to come here and do your nails pedicure and manicure and your eyelashes eyebrows and anything else you need.It is so nice to have spa not far from my home where I know I alway will be taking care with super high service and care if I have Important meeting and in need to look petson.Thank you David and all your team!

My nails are difficult to do cause im a nail biter. I was very pleased but even more pleased with the customer service I received. My boyfriend and co worker accompanied me. I went in today to get an overlay with shellac color and Shauny (not sure if that’s how her name is spelled) was AMAZING! She brought my natural nails to life and gave me an awesome manicure to touch up my cuticles! I definitely recommend her. She takes great pride in her work and makes her customers feel very comfortable in her chair! Thanks again!

First time coming here was kind of nervous because of the mixed reviews. But honestly I left very satisfied got a full set and a deluxe pedi. Tammy did my full set she was great always asked if they looked okay and what my preference was. I didnt catch the name of the tech who did my pedi but she was amazing so sweet! I took my husband with me for his first pedi and let me tell you he put his tech to work! She was very understanding took her time provided great customer service! A lot would say its pricey but youre paying for quality. Will be coming back here soon!

Very good at what they do!! I went in with a severely damaged thumb nail (hammer accident), when I left, David had repaired it enough to look and feel almost normal.I know this isnt the reason someone would normally go to a nail salon, but it worked out very well for me.

Tammy did a rebase for me and was attentive with her work. The folks in this business were so friendly and I am extremely happy with how my nails came out.

Its completely under new management. While I was very very happy with how my nails were done, I was not happy with the EXTREMELY unpleasant attitude of my nail tech. She made me feel rushed and like I was a complete burden to her. Its a toss up for me as I will say the nails did come out very good, but I am unsure about the manner in which I was treated.

They couldn’t tel me the price or show me a list of services the lady was trying to give me a pedicure with no water she didn’t know what she was doing, I asked her to cut my nails 5 times she still didn’t just kept filing them, I said isn’t water necessary for a pedicure and k told her put the water hot she just kept ignoring me it was cold. Run run run do not come here I just threw her $10 and left I kept getting more irritated every second and the place was a mess also I question if they’re even licensed I mean idc if they are or not as long as they’re clean and do a good job but it’s horrible here

Very good at accommodating my last minute appt requests. I don’t get anything too detailed but the gel mani and regular pedi is my usual “go to” I’m happy to say it’s done very well, long lasting, great colors to choose from as they have a huge selection! Great pedi massage too!

Overall great, but you do have to ask for what services and prices before you sit or the price is a lot higher than expected.

He was very personable and funny, I got a full set with gel polish and they are perfect! 1st time visiting a salon in Denver since my move and I will keep coming here for sure! Tan did my pedicure, spent time and the massage was very very relaxing. Prices were super reasonable and worth every penny.

Got a polish change and didn’t completely take off my blue polish and still charged me 25.. never again!!

I have observed that customer service is not always optimal. However Tammy and Teen are always so personable and accommodating to me. There have been times when I received service right before they close and were always to happy to see me and never made me feel like a burden. I like nudes/sheer pink colors and Tammy and Henry always keep my color preferences in mind and most times have a color to recommend. Henry also does a wonderful job on my full sets/rebases - he is very experienced, precise, and detailed. Teen is so, so kind and my pedicure is always great. They have always been receptive to criticism and fix any less-than-perfect work with a smile.

I came here just to see if I can go to a salon closer to my house. The salon that I originally go to is in North Denver so I thought I would give this one a try, don’t let the outside fool you it is nice but the way they did my nails is horrible. They were oddly shaped they we’re polished like a two-year-old polished my nails they were so ugly. I am never coming here again.

Nice but felt pressured to leave a tip. They stand over you for a tip. This was my first time here, I have learned not to tip on first trip. One hand was longer and I wasnt happy with the shape. Not sure if I will go back for a refi or not.

I absolutely love Davids Nail & Spa! The staff and Manager are great. Everyone is always friendly and professional. Tammy - the Manager has been doing my nails for almost two years now. She does a fabulous job! I wont go anywhere else to get them done.

Very very disappointed. It was my first time at this salon and I couldnt believe the poor professionalism and treatment of clients. One nail tech was straight up telling at a customer, which seemed very racial and then refused her service because she said she was stressed out by the customer because she was asking how long her service would take since she had an appointment at 930am but had to return to work by 11am. Not only was the client very kind and respectful as she was getting yelled at in front of everyone, she did not raise her voice once and did not need to receive this form of disrespect. The nail tech proceeded to call the cops on her and lied, stating that the client was being unreasonable and refused to pay, which was not the case at all. I was waiting for a pedicure as all this was happening and after everything I had seen I left without any service and will NEVER return. I strongly suggest this woman be let go from this business before she chases away more and more clients.

I have really dry cuticles this I know. I got a gel manicure. Got my cuticles clipped just at the base of my nail. Nothing on the sides or hand massage. I felt like I was charged $30 to get my nails painted from one of my girlfriends. I can Paint my own nails at home. I come to the salon to get pampered. I expect a more meticulous job done at the salon. Clip my cuticles, get the dry skin off my nails a massage etc. None of which happened 😣Now my pedicure on the other hand was AMAZING! He took his time, great massage and was polite. Very neat polish job. I should have gotten my pedi first. By the time I got to the pedi I was so mad about how my cuticles on my hands I was ready to go.Manicure was trash but pedicures are Highly recommended!

One of the best nail salons Ive been to so far! Nice staff, clean facility, and quick service. My nail tech was Kim, and I am so thankful for the care and consideration she put into my nails. This was my first experience having the gel UV light used to WARM MY FINGERS because the acrylic was setting too quickly and it wouldve turned out poorly without its proactive use. Not to mention a full set= $30... Highly recommend and would return!

She is the best, she is incredibly friendly, warm, funny and takes her time doing nails, another sweet girl did the thumb flowers and my toes. I love them!! Emphasis on love! Awesome Deluxe Pedicure with Lemon Scent.

Manager is RUDE and yells to much at her employees while customers are in for services.The new young lady had to try three times before being able to apply the color in correctly on my toes. Witch was fine I’m patient but with the manager yelling at her do this do that I don’t blame why she was a mess!! Sorry! Aside from the bad service I was charged $85 for a rebase and pedicure ? Oh and the rebase Let me tell you, mind you I had pink powder on my current nails prior to the bébase the guy used regular acrylic powder instead of pink powder !!!!! I told the guy and he told me (to not worried it would look pretty)will not be returning here again.

David does a great job on Angie’s nails all the time. He even fixed a messed up job the we got done in Kearney and didn’t even blink an eye.

When My wife had issues with her nails , The person who did her nails was extremely rude—. this person has never done her nails and she has normally never had problems here.. she was kinda yelling at her, which was unfortunate. saying that the work took too long on her nails & was complaining the whole time while my wife just wanted them to look pretty . Before the nail tech began redoing the nails she got upset because the nails in her mind weren’t messed up. I will Not let my wife come back because that was very disrespectful!! this was the worse experience She has ever had my wife shouldn’t have been getting yelled at or leave being satisfied.

I just moved in the community and when I googled nails salons they are on the top of my lists. The lady that did my pedicure and medicure was very thorough. She took her own time and make sure I was ok while she was doing her job. I love the way the place is set up, very clean and professional. I will be back to get my eyebrows and lashes done as well.

First time here and I really enjoyed myself. A little pricey but well worth it.
