I had the absolute best experience! I appreciate the covid guidelines and emphasis on safety. Dani did my nails and she was so wonderful! My nails looked incredible and I cant imagine going anywhere else now.

Base Coat in general is such a wonderful Nail Salon. They are kind, respectful and run a comfortable atmosphere for their clients. I have been a client for close to 2 years and have regularly seen Mariah for both Gel Manicures and Pedicures and she has always done a PERFECT job. The other ladies there are equally as attentive to detail and I have never walked out of there without complete satisfaction.

Ive been getting pedicures at Base Coat for about a year and a half now, and every single time has been just perfect. Theyre very clean and fragrance-free--I like the lack of overpowering chemical smell so common in most other nail salons. I hate dealing with my own nails and its always such a good feeling to walk out of the salon with a fresh pedicure. This and the Northside location have never been a disappointment!

Minica was amazing, she took such good care of my nails, and chatted the whole time! Which I love. The space was clean and beautiful and they have a cute selection of goodies to choose from in the shop. Its around the corner from the Denver Central Market so you can grab a coffee but they have an awesome offering of tea or rose while you get your nails done. Cant wait to go back!

Such a neat little spot. Unfortunately I didn’t have an appointment to get my nails done when I was in the area but I was able to browse the shop and loved it. Well curated and great customer service.

This salon is beautiful, they are going above and beyond with keeping things clean and safe with COVID precautions, their products are as good as it gets, and the owner is a leader in the community for workers rights.

My first experience here was during COVID, and I was very impressed with how Base Coat handled the experience. I felt reassured that every precaution was being taken and I could relax during my appointment. I was also pleasantly surprised that my manicure lasted a full 6 days before chipping.

My daughter and I went here for manicures and had a great experience. The staff was very accommodating for a couple errors I made when scheduling the appointments online. Everyone made us feel comfortable and pampered! Minica did our manicures and she is the best!

First time I had visited a Base Coat after hearing so much about it. Service was so comfortable and friendly and I was blown away by the staying power of the nail polish!I purchased a quick mani and there was absolutely no chipping for 9 days, even after rock climbing multiple times and really putting my nails through the ringer. I ended up taking off the polish only because my nails had grown out too much. Very impressed & will be back!

I love this salon. The esthetic is lovely and peaceful. The women who work in the salon are very friendly and warm. Ive had many manicures and pedicures in and around Denver, and Michelle is the best. Shes thorough and pays attention to every detail. She makes sure youre happy before you walk out the door. Shes very kind. Mariah does a great job as well and shes very sweet. It feels like family when I walk in the door. The experience is a wonderful treat!

I saw Kady today and it was my first time at Base Coat. She’s a freaking rock star, like for real. I came in with hard to remove polish and picked a tricky color to apply and she knocked it all out and did a great job. Thank you again so much. Appreciate you!

Love this new space! The salon is gorgeous and they offer beverages with your service ( rosé!). Lyda gives the best gel manicure that seriously lasts forever.

I will not go anywhere else to get my nails done. Ever. Period.Minica and Mariah are amazing! My nails are 100% healthier than they were going to your regular “nail salon”.The RiNo location is great because it’s convenient to lots of delicious restaurants and breweries making it easy to make an amazing manicure into a full girls day.

This place is amazing! I get the best mani/pedis here and I feel so relaxed the entire time. Everyone is super nice and I don’t feel like I’m going to pass out from the smell. Book with Mariah if you go, she’s the best 😊

The salon advertises itself as “a safe option for pregnant or nursing mothers” and free of harmful toxins and chemicals but when I informed the LoHi staff and manager that the Method brand cleaning products (not state required sanitizers) they were using are ranked “D” for reproductive toxicity by EWG and that I had a sore throat and headache from the smell they told me I should take my business elsewhere. Im livid to say the least and wanted to share this as a warning to others who visit this salon for the same desire to avoid the typical toxins of nail salons. My service was fine and I tipped her but when I approached the front desk staff... not unkindly...The 20-something’s more or less blew me off and handed me a card I could email my complaints to. No apology, no offer to make amends or address the issue... just a shrug and we don’t have time for you, pregnant toddler mom who selfishly snuck away for her first pedi in 6 months. So upsetting.

Used to more aggressive massage and my cuticles were hardly touched.
