The city nail bar is seriously the best in Denver. I’ve been coming here for over a year now & I have nothing but positives things to say about it! Everyone is so nice, and the salon itself is very nice & kept up. Also cute! Plus they have a bar! They make sure to take their time & pay attention to detail. the nail techs are all talented…. Han & jojo especially!

Though Han is one of the best techs in the world with design, their nail material is very cheap. They don’t last as long as other places I’ve gone to. My nails never last more than a week after I get them and I have to get them fixed so many times. And for the price it is NOT worth it. I pay on average (90-125$ for a set yes they over tax for EVERYTHING). Even after the ridiculous prices for some of the most basic sets, they force you to give tip even if the customer service is bad or they made you wait an hour after your appointment. The ambiance is nice but They have the worst customer service. This one time When I told them that this is the set they did and I was just wanting to get it fixed because yet again they broke off within the first 72 hours, they claimed they didn’t AFTER making me wait 30 min prior and they weren’t giving me any responses when calling out to them. I believe it was because they were busy but I still called an hour before hand to make an appointment as well. Poor planning on their part should not have repercussion on me. They are so rude and if they don’t want to do your set, they’ll refuse. Definitely pick and choose who to give the best treatment to. It’s unfortunate that I have to stop coming here because of the constant rude behavior. I’ve been coming for a year but it’s just too consistent. My friends that I’ve sent to get their nails done also complain about the same thing which is really unfortunate. The manager is very unprofessional as well.

I liked the ambiance. It’s a good place to go by yourself or in a group. They offer a lot of different alcohols too. I received a deluxe pedicure which I recommend any fixed a nail for me that cracked.

I recently moved to Denver and was nervous about finding a new nail salon. I recently had my nails done by Han and I am not even bothering looking anywhere else. She is so detailed, friendly, and talented!!! I cant wait to go back and try new designs! Setting up an appointment on Instagram was quick and easy, so glad I found this place!

Got my nails done 8/15/2021Nails on the left is what I wanted and the right is what I got.Had my nails done like this (on the left) before and only paid $80. I liked them so much I got them again but at a different location and paid $105. I dont like how my left finger is shaped different from my right, the peach nails have a light brown marks on them. I dont think Ill be going back.

We just love all! My husband and I go in every 2 weeks, you all are so nice and wonderful. I read other reviews on here about you and they are so ridiculous! We all know that only miserable people have the time and hate to spend time on being mean. Dont let them bother you! See you next week!

I have been to the location a number of times and this was by far the least happy I have been with the service. The wine was less than half the cup and it has been less than a week and 3 of my nails have already popped off. Highly highly highly unhappy with how things turned out and the price for the service for nails I now have to pay and get fixed!!

I am obsessed with this place. I will never go anywhere else. There was an issue with 2 hours worth of clients arriving to their appointments late the day of my appointment last week. This resulted in me being seen 1.25 hours after my scheduled time. This was 15 minutes after they closed. They stayed 1.5 hours past closing to ensure I was still able to get my nails done. I didnt even know this until after they finished my nails. They took their time and did not rush so I would walk away happy with my nails, despite being closed. They even comped my drinks as an apology for the wait. Most places would make excuses and tell me to reschedule or do a poor job to rush me out. Best nail salon ever. (Dont mind my yucky cuticles. Its dry and snowy so they are angry. They were perfect when I got these done last week)

Wonderful place!! I get dip powder nails done here and they always do an amazing job. The dip is long lasting and looks natural because they shave it down to make it not lay thick on your nails. They also offer drinks here and are hospitable to your needs. This is definitely my go-to place!

I hate my nails the acrylic Is lumpy and isnt layed out right wasnt worth 120$ I wont be going back when I did mention the acrylic layout she basically got annoyed, inside my nails the acrylic Is still in my nail she didnt file it all the way the v cut I asked for is already chipping off I just got my nails done here yesterday

It’s bitter sweet for me. I love the customer service and attention to detail the staff gives BUT the quality does not match their prices. My total (plus tip) was over $200. I went in for my bday for a full set dip and they began popping off in less than a week. Highly disappointed.

Heres the scoop: Fun glamorous decor meets good quality mani-pedis. Massaging mechanism in the chairs work most of the time and they serve Boba, wine, and/or Champagne while they perform surgery on your tootsies...what more could you ask for?

Out of the blue decided to get my nails done. Very nice atmosphere, all the workers are kind and double check to make sure youre getting what you want. Not to mention they give you wine while youre getting your nails done. Ill be back 💅🏼💅🏼

Great place to get specific designs off of instagram. I love the decor here and its nice that they have a wine bar as well.They are a bit pricey for most salons that do similar work, but you pay for location and the ambience, which I truly dont mind.My only critique is that theres a lady who works there who is a bit rude and unwelcoming, but everyone else is really nice.

I love this place! I recently moved from Aurora to Denver and I’ve been looking for a good salon for a while! I came into this place today and it’s amazing. Hannah and Holly took great care of me! My nails and toes look amazing. They are clean, quick, and professional. Prices are reasonable. Plus they have a bar!! I will definitely be back

I have been coming here consistently for 7 months because they do a perfect job every time. They always match exactly what I want in a dip manicure if I show an example (I’ve done regular French, French black tips, ombres, etc). They have extreme attention to detail and don’t skimp on materials or techniques like other salons in the area. They always take their time and use proper tools. Everyone here is so friendly and the pedicures are also reasonably priced and relaxing. This is my go-to place and they have never given me a single reason not to come back or find another place. Highly recommend!

We got pedicures here for my birthday and then went to a cabin the next day and hot tubbed. Right after the hot tub all the nail polish on my toes came off! I don’t recommend getting your nails or toes done if you plan on getting into any sort of water; hot tub, ocean, lake, etc. very disappointed.

Honestly a fantastic experience. I made a reservation for 3 for pedicures on a Friday. The staff was very kind and accommodating, the space was very clean and everyone was masked, and our pedicures look amazing!Id definitely recommend the Jelly pedicure (I think its the Luxurious Pedicure on their menu). Feels AMAZING.

They offer services they dont have the tools to accommodate. If you like shellac polish be prepared to be there longer than usual for them to take it off, not to mention they charge you to do so. How is it the customers fault the proper equipment isnt provided. Very nice establishment as far as looks and cleanliness goes but I wont be back

My boyfriend and I were in downtown Denver and he wanted me to get the nails I wanted and we went to a couple places and no one offered acrylic sets. So I started calling and The City Nail Bar was the first place I found that would do acrylics! It was like a 15 min walk from 16th street but well worth it. The set was impeccable!! They shaped and cut them exactly how I wanted and were so friendly and accommodating!! Also I loved the interior, it was very comfortable and nice looking! If I lived in Denver this would be my go to nail shop for sure! My boyfriend and I ended up getting engaged the next day so I needed perfect nails and that is what I got!

This is one of the CLEANEST nail salons Ive been to in a long time!! It is under new management and the new staff are fricken awesome! The owner was there when I got my manicure and she was so friendly, the nail tech that did my manicure was really nice and professional, my nails are beautiful! The price is comparable to other nail salons but a friendlier atmosphere. I highly recommend this salon to ANYONE looking for a friendly and clean new spot!!

Love this little gem of a place in downtown Denver! Under new management they do great work. My first time getting a dip and was done by very experienced nail artists. And they have adult beverages!!! This place is definitely worth a try. The new owner and her staff are just lovely.

I have been to a TON of nail salons in Denver over the past few months and this one is by far the best! I made an appointment for a full set of acrylics and I have never been happier with nails done at the salon - there are absolutely no imperfections on my nails! Danny was fantastic and I will definitely make this my permanent salon in Denver.

Made a last minute appointment here for a fill — I had never been here before. I was blown away with their talent. I showed a picture from my phone of an ombré pattern and the man who did my nails replicated it flawlessly. I was amazed. Their prices are a little bit higher than other places but they always say you get what you pay for! Will def be back!

Justin is an amazing nail tech in the shop I always bring in new designs and he always accomplishes them with no hesitation. I’m a licensed cosmetologist and very picky and strict about state board and the rules. This place has yet to let me down. If you want an amazing experience from the moment you walk in to leaving please check them out and ask for Justin or any of their other nail techs. You won’t regret it.

I was referred here by a friend to get my wedding nails done. Justin did an AMAZING job and my nails came out exactly like I wanted them to. He was very proficient and personal. He took his time to make sure they were perfect for my big day!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I went here on a whim to get my nails done for the winter holiday, i got an amazing pedicure and gel manicure, PLUS a glass of rosé. It was average expensive, not cheap, but not crazy, BUT for the environment and results, totally worth it. They also gave out a little Christmas gift which was a mini bottle of wine. Which is adorable! I’m super impressed and will definitely be returning!

I got a pedicure tonight as well as a shellac manicure.The pedicure chairs are boujee but also comfortable so I’m not mad about it. I believe the woman who did my pedicure was Marsha - she was very friendly and very thorough. She kept the water warm and the drinks flowing. I’m super happy with the color and quality.I did not catch the name of the woman who did my manicure but she was also extremely thorough. She inspected each nail after buffing for quality and symmetry. I went with the mimosa manicure choice that includes a scrub and mask and it smelled awesome.My polish is all very shiny and even - no bubbles or ripples.Lastly - the decor is cute and eclectic. They have a pretty good bar selection and good set of shellac colors to choose from.I will most certainly be back !

I live next door to the place. I just moved in and have passed many times and looked in. Very seldom is the place open. I was walking by and I guess I saw the owner. She wouldnt even speak to me. I was right at her door. She didnt even look at me. Maybe she thought I wasnt worth acknowledging!! I guess she is not in the business of making money. I was looking for a new place to get myself a Mani and padi. I know for a fact I wont be going there! Maybe she didnt think I could have any money to afford to pay her. You never know what a person has in their pocketbook. 😏😏😏

We went here for a mommy and me date and we had such an amazing experience. Maria did my daughters nails and she was beyond amazing. Super sweet with her and very interactive. I will definitely be coming back here often.

I received a gift card to City Nail Bar several months ago. The first time I walked in I was told I couldnt get a manicure until their first available spot, 4 days later. A month ago I called and left my name and number and asked to schedule a manicure. Nobody called me back. Today I called them 8 times and got no response. I was so confused I thought their phone was maybe off the hook, so I thought Id just go and walk in. When I got there they were closed. Their website says they are open Wednesday-Sunday. Their phone message says theyre open Tuesday-Sunday. Even Yelp, as I write this review, says theyre open. I want a refund for the gift card since I will apparently never be able to actually get my nails done at this irresponsible, inconsistent, and who knows about the quality location, but I know theyll never respond to even give me a refund.

Just had a pedicure at City Nail Bar and it was amazing! Ive been getting pedicures for 35 years and this was one of the best I have EVER had. Great atmosphere, great service, very enjoyable and personable staff... All around 5 star experience.

This salon is the best nail experience Ive ever had... and Ive been getting my nails done since I was 15. The staff is not only professional, but also friendly - and the setting is aDORable - just absolutely gorgeous! The unique decor is coupled with a service level that cant be matched- expect to pay less than your current salon, and get way more. I dont want to ruin it- but lets just say there are small surprises that make all the difference. Prepare to be pampered - Im sold. Oh, did I forget to mention theres also wine?

I bartend and my gels stand the abuse for 2 to 3 weeks without chips!Used to be under different management. Now they have somebody new. Went in with my friend. Asked for French dips. The girl doing my nails made it seem like an inconvenience. She did a good job ultimately but I dont know that Ill be back

I felt rushed. I didnt realize that the Luxury pedicure didnt come with any type of additive, no moisturizer or anything.When i asked for bubbles. She went and got some hand soap out of the barhroom. There was something wrong with both chairs i sat in. The first one...the jet stream didnt work. The second one, the chair itself didnt operate. The quality of the pedicure was not good. My nail bed and cuticles were not cleaned very well. The massage was good though

I was really excited about going here, since the menu seemed different. I got there on a Fri around 5 pm and Im turned away because there were only TWO nail techs and they wouldnt be able to fit me in. Who staffs a nail salon with 2 techs on a Friday? Super bummed.

I liked this place, but it was more hype than quality. The place is cute and decorated to make it seem much more high class. I enjoyed that you could get a drink here while you get a mani or pedi, but the price was a little high for the quality of pedicure.For this place, its more about location than quality service. They do have on parking space dedicated to them, but it was taken in the garage when we came. It was fun place to try, but I like the place I go to back home a lot better.

Lovely experience! The decorum is like no other nail salon and is quite plush making you feel very pampered with king and queen pedicure chairs and fancy glass bowls for soaking. Theres a menu with selections of various cocktails to enjoy, little treats to savor and the staff is extremely personable making you feel like a welcomed friend. I had a shellac mani / pedi and both turned out great. The gals took their time focusing on detail and didnt rush through it. They are very new to Denver having only opened in September so go check them out!!

Decor is beautiful, & shop is so clean. However, three days after receiving a manicure my nail polish is COMPLETELY chipped off. So much so that you can barely even see what color I had them done. Never have I ever had nail polish come off in layers like this has.

The WORST pedicure ever! Came to visit my daughter in Denver, wanted to treat ourselves to a pedicure and thought this place would be fun, NOPE I was wrong they never spoke to us only time was when we walked in asked if we had an appointment, no one spoke handed me the bill paid $75 and we were never told we were done nothing was said no thank you nothing!! And Our polish was chipped by the next day!! What a waste of money! DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING HERE! I gave it one star but deserves minus 0

Called ahead from out of town. Weren’t closing for 1 1/2 wouldn’t get me in for a full set. Idk what it is about Denver Colorado but finding someone to do acrylics seems has been a nightmare! Do yourself a favor and treat your customers with some respect.
