Unfortunately, today was not a good experience. I took my vehicle in for service. I informed the service department that my alternator was going out. I informed him that I had the battery also tested and that the battery tested good. They wanted to charge me a $65.00 fee for a diagnostic test, which once again I informed them that I had the charging system tested a total of two times. And both tests results came back that my regulator inside my alternator was bad. They insisted that in order to go through my warranty that they would have to run their own diagnostic test. Which I agreed to. I showed up to the service department at exactly 8 oclock I was the first customer there. They supposedly tested my charging system and gave me a report that it was my battery not the alternator. I asked them if they were sure of the results of the test and they informed me that they were sure it was my battery. So I bought a brand new battery through them and had them install it. I was very disappointed with the service of the shop. It took them 4 hours total to replace my battery. Once again I was their first customer for the day. I left at 12:05 from their business with my vehicle. I noticed immediately that my vehicle was running the same, weak and laggy so I took the vehicle to two other shops immediately, it took those mechanics about two minutes each to test my charging system and both times the scanner came back with the message bad alternator. I went back to Toyota and informed the service department and asked them to have thier mechanic hook up his machine again on my charging system. He got a volt meter tested my battery with the vehicle off showing me that the battery was bad but once again he had just replaced it. I commented to him that for a $65.00 diagnostic fee and that the alternator had not been tested. I instructed him to put my old battery back on and pull my vechile out of the shop which took him an hour to change the battery when it can be done in 5 minutes. Poor quality of service from the Shop while the service department personal did an awesome job. Hopefully when I take my vechile back on Wednesday to get the new alternator installed that they do it correctly.

Ugh! Service has really gone downhill! Oil change & state inspection appt @ 11 am appointment yesterday. Noon today & still vehicle has not been delivered!

First let me state that I am not a regular customer since I live in the Phoenix, Az areaService a a routine 10 000 mile check but were not sure that they had cabin or engine filters in stock (WOW) etcUpon departure they did not have a copy of the work order to give me - nor did they e-mail it as promisedGood thing it was merely a 10 000 check- because it was oil change that took placePerhaps I scored too hi
