Victor is an honest general manager. I ordered the new Maverick through them and put down a $500 deposit. I changed my mind even though it was technically too late victor when out of his way to make it work for me. Will definitely be coming back here when Im in the market and for service.

Go literally anywhere else.It took them 16 hours (8 hours on two days, imagine how difficult it was do deal with commuting) to not figure out why my A/C issue, then charged me for freon and a diagnostics fee anyway. Thanks.Dont worry, if you made an appointment in hopes of the mechanics prioritizing your car, they will not. It will sit in the lot until they feel like they have time to work on it, probably still working on someone elses car from the day before.Best part: it was not my aftermarket radio controller, it was flooding water behind the firewall due to clogged drainage under the wipers, which was shorting my climate system. Wish I figured it out sooner, I would have saved about $300 for nothing.

I had a huge problem today that Doug, Tom, and George at Cecil Atkission Ford kindly helped me through. My car had been in an accident and when I popped the hood to look underneath, it neither opened, nor latched back fully closed. This meant that at anytime while driving the vehicle, it could fly open, obstructing my vision and cause a huge danger on the road. I stopped into the shop to see if they had an auto body to help me get my hood closed. Doug Humphreys, one of the sales consultants, told me they did not do auto body, but asked me about the problem. He actually came out to look at my vehicle and then told me to pull up to the service bay. There, Tom (I believe hes a service specialist) and George (senior mechanic) were able to get the hood of my car open and see what was going on. They found it wouldnt latch, but offered to remove the hood for me so that I could at least drive to an auto body shop safely. They were lifesavers. I could tell that they care greatly about the community and the safety of anyone that comes into the shop/dealership. 15/10 would recommend. Service is second to none and the people here are amazing!

The service department at Cecil Atkission Ford Lincoln Del Rio, TX offers great service & reminders for upcoming required service. Even though it took 1 1/2 hours for a scheduled oil change & tire rotation appointment, their waiting room offered some refreshment and a TV while you wait.

Warranty battery replacement and 4 wheel alignment. Techs couldnt install battery box properly and cracked the paint the rocker on my new car (drivers side under door, probably when techs were exiting the vehicle). Very visible damage in the sun. Called and told them what happened, service manager said I could have messed up the battery box when I removed the cover in the parking lot. See for yourself. No comment yet on the paint. Damage on the paint can be felt with my fingernail, will eventually flake off. Thanks! Pictures posted!

Cecil Atkission Ford is a great place to find a new vehicle. From the first minute we stepped on the lot, Vicente was welcoming, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He walked us through the process and it is apparent that he truly cares about the customer. We had an interesting situation, and he went to bat for us.The sales manager, title clerk, and front desk employees were also great! I mean the entire team! Even down to needing to borrow a pair of pliers and a screwdriver to get a rusted screw off the plate, the mechanic team didn’t even hesitate.If you need a new or used vehicle in Del Rio, this is the place to go. Vicente is the man to talk to, but honestly from the short interactions I had with the rest of the sales team, anyone there will be able to help you out.-Josh

He talked me through several vehicles as I asked questions and was able to help me find exactly what I was wanting. Recently took my F250 to have it serviced...oil change/the works. My def was just shy of 3/4 tank out of the 5 gallon tank which would indicate about 1.3 gallons had been used. I was charged for 4 gallons of def at a cost of $13 per gallon. I challenged it and was shown 4 empty gallons of def. I argued it again the next day and was told they would look into it....no response in 24 hours. I service my own def and know what is in the tank. I just got bilked out of about 38-40 dollars and I cannot prove it. Thanks Cecil Atkission Ford....you just lost my support/customer relations/service/patronage. Have a great day!

The bottom line: Go to San Antonio. Theyre good people in Del Rio, but service/parts/car availability is better there.I went here for a handful of years for service and to express interest in purchasing a car. I never really thought much about it, because theyre the only Ford dealership in town.However, with my most recent service/new car, Im more aware of how this Ford dealership is terrible at returning calls and keeping my updated on service. Also, the service department fixed my car, only to tell me they had put the wrong size part in as a patch. I eventually needed a second repair.If you do feel obligated to go to Cecils in Del Rio, realize that you will have to bug them for service updates, and if you want a new car, you have to bug them. I never knew it was possible that you could have cash to buy a car and have your dealer forget about you.Finally, just on a personal level, the service in SATX was just friendlier and better.

This dealership offered us the worst trade-in deal we have ever been offered. We have purchased our fair share of vehicles over 20 years and purchase a new vehicle on average of every 3 years. They offered us half of Kelly Blue Book trade-in value and were unwilling to budge on their price even a penny. We went to Ram Country across the Street and were offered fair trade in value for our trade and made an awesome deal with them for even a better truck. We saved almost $6000 dollars in total by not doing business with this dealership. So I can say thanks for the crappy deal because it turned out better for us in the end.

I dont recommend, i went in for a oil change and spark plugs, service was nice, all be it, i probably would too if i knew i was about to price gouge. Labor alone for replacing my spark plugs which only takes less than an hour for the 4 spark plugs cost $375...... any issues, contact tom, he will get it resolved.

Service shop is unprofessional and have little working knowledge of how to run a shop. Parts personnel knew less about vehicle than customer. They were unaware of multiple service bulletins. Dont waste your time with this shop go a few hours north for a better deal and service from almost any other ford dealership.

I went into dealership to get my vehicle serviced, when I presented my maintenance coupon book the service guy said I would have to pay up front and get compensated by maintenance plan company. I asked to speak to service manager and he directed the maintenance plan company be called and asked if they could pay by credit card over phone, they said no. I called general manager his response was they have been burned by this company and cannot accept my maintenance plan. I have bought 3 different ford vehicles in last 4 years and about to buy another for my daughter, Im going to retire here in Del rio shame I wont be able to do business with Cecil Atkins Ford

Have to wait while guys sit in chairs to get off personal phone calls and visit with peps in office before they even address me..we have a ranch owned ford,Dodge,Toyota and a Chevrolet that need service regularly in Del RioTX(those guys greet you at your vehicle) I put my head down every time I have to go to ford...told 2-4 days before they can even look at truck... I have bought many new vehicles from here mainly from Doug who works at Toyota now, Ive bought a total of 5 brand new vehicles from here a fiesta, 2 mustangs an f150 and an f250 king ranch all brand new and had good luck there, the fiesta a purchased as a computer because of the miles I was driving and was told the engine had a timing chain but found out weeks later while searching the internet it has a belt, I even contacted ford because i didnt want the vehicle and I mean ford motor company as well as the dealer, the lady from ford motor company told me in fact it did have a chain and this was all thru email, I emailed her the parts from fords own website that shows a timing belt and the associated things that go along with it such as tensioners. I was upset the salesman had no idea about what he was selling but I was more upset over people who are higher up at ford not knowing what their vehicles have in them, I believe I still have the emails from ford stating it has a chain and it clearly doesnt, this car is a 2014 so it wasnt a first year vehicle that was magical it had been in production for a few years and salesmen and higher ups at Ford still have no clue.the last vehicle i purchased to replace a totaled vehicle was a used ford explorer, the sales manager told me they had just put $2000 worth of repairs into this vehicle, but within a month of owning the vehicle I had to put new brakes on the rear as well as a new left rear brake caliper, as well as new tires, I also found out after looking at it very closely after purchase that it was towed behind an rv for who knows how many miles, the engine might of only had 68,000 miles but how many miles are on the rest of the drivetrain? I know so many people who work at this dealership that I worked with at brown chevy like Tom the service manager. I WILL NEVER BUY A VEHICLE NEW OR USED FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN!!!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. Do not buy a vehicle from them, do not take a car to them to be serviced. Had my brand new car towed there to get serviced due to maintance issues they had caused in the first place! Called over ten times before I could get anyone on the phone to talk to me. Car sat in their lot for days without anyone telling me if it was even there, much less a time line for it to get fixed. Atrocious service, dont care about customers because they know they are the only option in town.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! In the past two years my family & I have purchased 4 vehicles from this dealership without problem (we travel from out of town). I have also referred many customers their way. I will be purchasing two more vehicles in the near future for both of my daughters. HOWEVER, I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS DEALERSHIP AFTER THE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE JUST HAD. I WAS a loyal customer but they have lost my business forever!!! And I will defiinitely be sharing my experience with others. Since April I have been waiting for a reimbursement from them for a cancellation of my service policy on two different vehicles; one that was paid off, one that I am refinancing. First, they forget to mention I was due a reimbursement on one. I had to argue it. I was finally issued a check 3 months later. The other they refused to process the paperwork; saying that I could not cancel the plan despite it being my right & also explaining that I was signing up for a new plan with new finance company. They then submit the paperwork incorrectly. It got returned. I again had to demand that they submit the paperwork correctly; cancellation as per my request. Paperwork was finally sent off. I waited for months without any communication from them. They refused to take or answer my calls requesting for status update after waiting months. I left several messages. I finally received a call two months ago saying that they will finally be forwarding the check directly to my finance company. However, after checking with the finance company for two months and still no check, I again call this dealership for status update. Leaving voicemails and pleading for information because it was holding up my refinancing. They still did not bother to answer or return my calls. This morning I call and finally reach the lady in charge of issuing checks. She responds with attitude and informs me that she sent the check this past Saturday (the day before yesterday!). I asked why just this past Saturday when she had said two months ago that she had already done it. She said well no, she didnt. I asked her why she hadnt thought to give me the courtesy of advising me or at least taking my calls, answering my voicemails or even forwarding a message through someone else. She answered me very sarcastically with oh well, sorry..... I explained that I was frustrated because I have been waiting since April to refinance my truck and it is now November and Im still waiting on them to simply send off the check. She said well i did it on Saturday. Theyll get it. AT NO TIME HAVE I BEEN A RUDE, or SARCASTIC CUSTOMER. I HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT. I expect to be treated with the same respect, professionalism and courtesy that I extend to others ESPECIALLY from this dealership that has made so much money from my repeated business!

I had purchased my vehicle with Del Rio Ford back in 2013. I now live in Houston. I made an appointment a week a head of time to drive back to Del Rio to have my vehicle worked on Friday morning, appointed for 9am. I spoke directly with Jasmine Chapa, who claimed I would be helped. Unfortunately I am very disappointed in her lack of customer service, especially with the job title of service advisor. I dropped my car off promptly at nine, had not heard back from any one all day. Called back around 2, spoke with Jasmine as she told me she would call me back by 6pm to let me know what was wrong with my vehicle. Never received a call. Saturday morning I tried to call her three times, no answer. I had a family member take me back on site to ask for an update. My car was sitting in the lot for 24 hours, unlocked, and had not been looked at. Bottom line, very disappointed and discouraged in the lack of customer service from a business who once was so helpful and kind. If you are looking for service on your vehicle, go elsewhere. As I am having to do once I get back to Houston.

I honestly tried to give this dealer a fair chance. Looked to buy a pre owned vehicle which the majority of the inventory was marked at least 5k above market value. No big deal went to San Antonio to get a fair price. Brought my new truck in for service and they left grease all over the interior. I actually didnt complain as it cleaned up pretty easy. Next time went in for an oil change/tire rotation with an online scheduled appointment. Took off of work to come in and they told me they didnt see an appt and they were actually doing away with the online service schedule process! Haha. This dealer takes advantage of being 2.5hrs from the rest of the world. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
