I recently had two vehicles repaired here and each time they did a great job. The price was great, the service excellent. Very pleasant experience. I have referred them several people since and so far everyone has been very happy with the work and service.

We get oil changes here, always great and quick service. I just happened to be a few steps away from them today when my car wouldn’t start. Bill came out to help immediately, had curious George on their TV for my 2 year old, had a new battery delivered AND had us out the door in probably less than 30 min on a Monday morning. So thankful my battery chose to die where it did! We were in great hands.

Ive been here twice this year (2017) to have them fix my AC and its still fd up. After over $1200 spent here in the past couple months to fix, what should be a standard repair, Im back to where I started. Dont go here. Go anywhere else. Save your money and peace of mind. Do not waste your money here.

A few years ago I had to get an expensive lighting ballast for my Acuras headlight. Had it done for the other headlight a year or so prior. Went to Accurate Automotive for the second one.Instead of doing the repair, the owner turned me away. Gave me the name of a store that makes and installs third party ballasts for a tenth of the cost.Been coming to Accurate for everything else ever since

Weve used Bill Turners shop for a long time, before Decatur, and always trusted his work. The last two years have not been so good. Maybe Bill is not watching over his mechanics so closely? We took an older car in for him to inspect for safety and roadworthiness. A few weeks later, the brakes failed while driving. We recently took another car to find why it was overheating. They couldnt find a thing wrong with it. Our neighbor took a look and found a large plastic bag caught between the fan and the radiator, preventing the airflow from properly cooling the radiator. We will go elsewhere from now on.

I used them to inspect a used car I wanted to buy for my son, they offered very reasonable price but better than that they found a couple of deal breaker issues with the care. They also provided me with a true value of that car and a bunch of great advice. The owner, Bill, was very knowledgeable and saved me from buying a problem car.

Weve been taking all of our familys cars to Bill at Accurate Automative for more than 25 years. He is always honest, always does a great job, and always charges a reasonable price and much lower than you will ever get at the dealership. If you dont need something done he will tell you honestly that you can wait. If you need it done, they will fix it at a reasonable price. Very, very reliable. No one I noticed working there was wearing a mask. Certainly not the guy at the front desk nor the guy who moved my car to the service bay. Doubt they sanitized my steering wheel and gear shift when they finished working on my car. Disappointed in that.

Bill is a Honda master mechanic who does honest work. He had been able to make repairs and the dealer wanted to charge 3x the cost.

Bill Turner is by far the worst mechanic in the universe. I took my 2018 Honda Civic EX to this shop for 3 services. An oil change, new windshield wiper blades, and wiper fluid refill. The wiper blades came off 2 days later, the wiper fluid was not refilled oh and last but not least MR. TURNER CRACKED MY WINDSHEILD AND LIED ABOUT IT!!! When I went to pick up my car that evening AFTER I paid for my services he asked “did you know you had a crack in your windshield?” I replied that I did not because I didn’t before I drove my car to his auto shop. I went outside and discovered a huge crack in my windshield and when I lifted the wiper blade I discovered the impact that looked like a hammer or something hit it and the crack rapidly spread from the impact. When I went back inside and explained to him that the crack was not there when I dropped of my car he said a rock must have hit it and suggested that I get MY insurance company to fix it under comprehensive ( my deductible is $500). I was so furious at him lying to me I took a deep breath and left the shop that evening. The next morning after a long morning prayer I returned asking Bill to explain to me how a rock moved my wiper blade out of the way and impacted my windshield. Of course he couldn’t answer this question. He really tried to make a fool out of me but after this conversation he agreed to have his insurance company fix it. He was also very rude to me. I personally feel that I was looked at as inferior by Mr. Turner for the simple fact that I was a woman in an auto shop and he seriously took me for a fool. I pray that God has mercy on his soul because the way I was treated was not right. And Mr. Turner needs to learn that in the future if he makes a mistake own it and fix it! Lying gets you no where. I will never go to discount place to have my car serviced again. That decision was my fault. I was just save my money and pay the higher price at the Honda dealership and Isuggest you all do the same. Accurate automotive is NOT REPUTABLE!!!

TLDR: Honest mechanic is good. They could have taken advantage of my obvious ignorance but didnt, and I spent less than a third of the first quote I had received even after adding a new battery to the charge.I returned from vacation and my clutch failed immediately. A popular roadside assistance service towed the car to their own shop at Toco Hills, where after 2 days they finally got around to assessing the situation. I was told that I need a new clutch and that it would cost over $1500. Despairing, I called around to other mechanics and Accurate Automotive quoted me a lower price if a clutch replacement was necessary, but the mechanic deemed that unlikely. I had my car towed to Accurate Automotive and the same day had an analysis and an estimate: the slave cylinder linkage had broken, and repairing that as well as replacing my battery which had mysteriously died while the car was in the possession of the aforementioned roadside assistance company cost me less than a third of what the first place had wanted to charge.

Great service IF you can get seen!I took my 2015 Honda Fit there a few months ago for its 2nd oil change and they did a GREAT job! I had taken it to a Jiffy Lube for its 1st oil change and they did a terrible job and didnt reconnect my bottom plastic panel over the drain plug properly. Accurate Automotive fixed this plastic panel for free during the oil change!If I was so pleased why am I giving them 2 stars? I tried to make an appointment for my 3rd oil change with them and encountered one of the most baffling phone conversations I have ever had! I asked if I could be seen if I brought my car in today and assured them I was fine with waiting while the work is done. The guy on the phone (whose name I WISH I had gotten, but sadly did not!) flatly told me NO and that I need an appointment. Thats fine, I understand I said. Then, he asked what date next week worked and I said Friday and he said 8:30am? and I replied that was too early for me with work/life/etc... can I get an appointment later in the day?He then told me the following:Oh no, we dont take appointments past 8:30 am, everyone just has to come in and its first come first serve.Those of you who understand what the word contradictory means will instantly be at my level of frustration! Doing a first come first serve type of service is fine, BUT NOT IF YOU ALSO REQUIRE APPOINTMENTS!! What is the meaning of an appointment with them if they are going to work on a first come first server basis?Also, why then could I not bring my car in today to be looked at? I asked him this question and he said the final nail in the coffin:Oh, we dont have an oil change guy here, ive only got one guy working....on a busy friday afternoon before a holiday weekend you have one person working and he doesnt know/cant perform oil changes?! On their website they proudly declare:At Accurate Automotive Service, we firmly believe that changing your oil is a necessity, not a luxury. So if your car is due for an oil change, come to our auto center in Atlanta, GA to have your vehicle serviced.But dont staff people who can perform this work.How on Earth have they stayed in business if they turn their business away so readily?!This brings me back to the beginning of this review. IF you can get in the door and be seen by someone, they do great work. I havent had to get a major repair done on my car yet, but I may even try to bring it to them if that happens. I just hope hope hope I get someone else on the phone that day or they actually implement some kind of appointment system by then.For now, I will trek up to Gwinnet Honda for my oil change because they ::GASP:: actually let you schedule your service down to the 15 minute increment!Accurate Automotive, your business is literally driving away from you. Hire more people. Implement a real appointment system. Dont turn people away so readily.

Best Shop in Atlanta (now in Decatur) Been going to Buckhead location for years and freaked out when they moved to Decatur. But found that it was just as easy to get to from Highlands and love the Nice New Location!! Large customer waiting area, flatscreen tv free WIFI with an area with table for doing my work while waiting for work to be done. Outside seating and WOW I was impressed!! Check out new digs that still has the same ol GOOD HONEST work!
