Tech came out, determined that he could not solve the issue correctly with his equipment (we have a very high roof that requires an especially high ladder), and politely recommended that I not pay him to spray in a way that would likely not solve my problem. I appreciate this sort of honesty in a company. 5 stars.

That is really hard to find in larger companies which is why I love looking for local family owned companies!I’ve used Brown twice for pest control and would highly recommend them for your home. I thought I needed my entire house sprayed and the tech was really honest with me and made sure I wasn’t wasting my money and recommended a different treatment plan.I will always use Brown for any of my pest control needs because they are truly a company I can trust. We were able to make an appointment in a few days for a treatment to get rid of ants that were coming into the house. They sprayed around the foundation and along the baseboards. We noticed the ants dying off right away. The exterminator said they would come back for further treatments if the ants reappeared up to 90 days at no cost.

We love that they offer a warranty on the work performed.

They did not do any services for me, because they are located anywhere near my city. My landlord claimed that they were coming to do treatments to our apartment complex but had not shown up for the appointment three weeks straight. I suspected my landlord was lying, so called this company for some clarity. The person who I spoke with was incredibly nice and took a fair amount of time from her day to address a situation that she did not need to. Im thinking that if the way this person treated a person who wasnt a customer how great must she be to someone who is.

Everyone is very friendly and professional. We have our house sprayed for house centipedes but whatever they use helps with spiders as well.

I was cleaning up some old wood in my back yard. Yellow Jackets came at me, very aggressive. I dropped my saw and ran. They stayed around swarming the saw the rest of the day, then back the next day. I called Brown’s pest control and they gave me an appointment the next day. The tech was right on time, listened to my concern and went to work. I haven’t seen a yellow jacket since and was able to finish my yard work.

I received a contract with Brown Pest Control with the purchase of my house 3 years ago. Without fully understanding the nature and reason for their service, I paid the nominal yearly fee without much question until quarantine hit. When the office manager of Brown emailed me asking if I wanted to continue service with them, I replied with a lengthy list of questions as to the need for their service. The next day I received a call from the owner, Robert Brown. A few days after, Robert and his nephew CJ came to my home. Robert gave exceptional courtesy in the explanation of his family ran company and why they had been contracted by the previous owner, with full service records. His nephew, a technician, walked me step by step through my property visually proving their points of service and where the treatment had worked and was still working. I felt valued as a customer and empowered with deeper understanding of my property history and needs. I 100% recommend this exceptional Dayton small business.

Honest! Kevin was great. I had black ants in my house. I called several other pest control companies and decided on Brown based on their excellent reviews online and they were local. Turns out the ants where coming from debris in the gutter. Kevin point this out and said just clean you gutters and that will rid you of your ant problem. NO CHARGE!

Mr. Brown (senior) inspected for wood-destroying insects on our house, before we bought it. He was very knowledgeable and extremely thorough. We were so impressed that we specified in the contract that his company had to do the termite treatment as well.

Just the phone call was disappointing. I tried to call a local place to see if they could treat a rather large mound of ant hills in my yard. I was immediately dismissed with a demeaning tone and told to call a landscaper.Thought the website specificity called out doing this. I guess the chic on the phone wasn’t about it that day.
