Absolutely pathetic company and extremely rude staff. I rented a suburban with unlimited miles to drive my family for a trip to NYC and back to Dallas.... In simple friendly conversations I told them Im taking the kids to NYC... In 10 seconds after that they rudely said they dont cover NY and I cant take the car there and cancelled the reservation... They said I shouldve read the fine print on the contract... Luckily Avis saved the day for me last minute with a much much better rate... Will never ever ever rent from Sixt... Lousy small company trying to act bigger than they are...

Very nice staff, who seemed happy to help where they could. The vehicle was clean and well maintained, and I got a printout at checkout to make sure all damage was accounted for before I left.

I was very disappointed with SIXT as far as their policy my flight was supposed to land at 6pm my reservation was at 7pm. Flight was delayed due to weather didn’t land till 11pm and the location was closed so I couldn’t pick up the vehicle till the next morning when they opened. I couldn’t receive any amount off for the day I missed because it was prepaid even though it was totally out of my control everything was great but I suggest DO NOT PREPAY cause you’ll get screwed and anything goes wrong with your airline

Not very personable at the time we checked in. Argued with me about the kind of car I requested. Said there us none available. Gave me only 2 choices in the class I requested. We walked outside and their lot was full of what we originally signed up for. Overall not a bad experience.

Ill keep it quick. Gave me a car with 3 tires with bubbles on them. Car was vibrating constantly. Felt uncomfortable. Was on tight schedule, was on my to D.C. for McCains funeral from Dallas, TX. I was an hour away until I realized something was really wrong. Pulled into a shop and they told me tires were unsafe for travel. I kept driving to save time until I got into the next town until I got approval from them to reimburse me because I had planned to replace them. Good thing I kept going because I was on hold for 45 minutes. I was told by a manager, not a problem, replace them and bring us back our tires and well reimburse in a weeks tops. Before I returned, I recorded and took pictures for my records. After returning the car and making sure the active manager recieved 3 of the tires that were bad and confirm with him they were bad, he reply well let you know. A month later after that, they said no, we wont be reimbursing you for the 1 tire we replaced, when in actuality I replaced 3. I said, after putting my life in danger and making me miss McCains public viewing, and making me pay for everything let alone the headache of upgrading to a luxury class car and being a gold member of this company and still recieved a car that put my familys life in danger, I said just return the tires I bought and Ill have a nice day. Well, that was in October and yet no response. So yeah, want an expensive rental, life threatening cars, poor customer experience, service, and expectation, please feel free to indulge yourself at Sixt. Ive added a picture of 1 of the tires and the accident report as well as the email responses. Anyone deserves better than this company. And please, dont bother contacting me after this review Sixt.

This place has its challenges The last time we used them and we were in Texas we got there right before they closed and the girl was extremely rude. this time we have a booking for 8:00 at night We get there at 8:05 and theyre closed down and nobodys there even though we confirmed it the day before. There is nothing that told us that they closed at 8:00 so that we could have prevented a problem. I will say we came back this morning to get the rental the girl that helped us this morning was extremely helpful and I appreciate her professional attitude I do think this place has its challenges when it comes to customer service and they dont have a backup plan if theyre closed especially that early.

The whole experience was easy. Took about 10 min to get a car since I prepaid online for a week. Was a 2019 Chevy Equinox, great car. Return was just as smooth, and took even less time. Only snafu was the flight was late, so I arrived when Sixt was closed and had to wait 3 hrs for them to open.

The worst rental experience I have ever had. They charge you for An extra day that I did not use or was even aware of until I got my credit card bill. This is a scam, so if anyone rents from this location kTake pictures of the cars before and after, and also watch how much they charge you.

I understand rental car companies provide terrible service as a whole, its part of the game. Sixt takes it to a whole lower level. They are the absolute worst in a bunch of bad players. The pickup process was awful! The worst thing though was there was no one around when we dropped the car back. Sixt didnt check it in until 5 hours later causing us to pay for another day and extra fees! I have tried to call, never get a person and it hangs up on you. I emailed through the website, NO REPLY! I tired to protest the charges with Chase and they wont do anything unless I have proof of the drop off time. I have no way to prove! No one was there! Dont fall for the fancy website and available cars. This company does not care about their customers!

These guys took my money off our debit card then wanted to refund my money, that they already had, back to my account and put the amount on a major credit card. I offered my major card to put the security deposit on, the declined and said they HAD to refund my money and put the whole amount on a major credit card. So the said they cancelled the reservation, offered me no paperwork stating such. Well see if I get my money back or not. Unbelieveable. Never had this issue in all the times Ive rented vehicles. The best part is they claimed it was because I was a local.

Terrible managment, that commits fraud!I rented a 2017-2018 Arcadia at DFW airport and was told to give the car a once over to make sure there was no damage. I performed a quick walk around in the dark parking garage and found none.When I later returned my car the check In lady found damage to rear right fender, upon closer inspection with the check in lady we both determined that this area had been previously repaired as there was evidence of a professional paint job. Due to this repair I did not notice it and even if I did I would not have reported it due to it being obviously professionally repaired. (Repair does not equal damage) Fortunately the very friendly and kind check in lady let me record her and take pictures of her check in machine where she even wrote that it was repaired and that the customer claimed it was previous damage.About three months later I get a letter in the mail from Sixt demanding I pay ~$750 dollars and claiming that it was the second time they attempted to contact me (it was not.) I went through all my emails (note: you will get about 7 spam emails from Sixt a day so be prepared if you use them.) and there was nothing about damage and there have been no previous correspondence in good old snail mail. I immediately sent sixt a certified letter and emailed them asking them to immediately contact me via mail (certified as I could sense something fishy going on) explaining that I denied creating this damage, provided pictures showing their previous repair and requested further info.About 1.5 months passed with no word for Sixt via my requested certified mail, normal snail mail or email when I get a letter from Summit Account Services, a collection agency! I immediately send a certified letter to both Summit and Sixt demanding the collections stop, and that we work this out as this should still be between Sixt and me. Sixt amazingly responds in email (which I prefer they don’t...) with what essentially was an: “oh shucks, we screwed up but it’s in the debt collectors hands now, please work with them.” This is terrible and borderline illegal. Sixt made no attempt to contact me except once, and In that one letter claimed they did so twice.I would have happily worked with them on this issue, instead they refused to follow industry standards and let a collection agency deal with it. Now I have to spend money fighting this collection agency for damage I did not create and my credit score is slightly damaged due to this creepy collection agency immediately putting it on my credit report. My only hope now is that the collection agency will sue me so I can prove the debt Is not mine, something a lawyer said would be easy as Sixt did not follow the correct guidelines, even then I will need to fight with the credit reporting agencies to clean my score up and I’m sure Summit will have to deal with Sixt for the illegal debt they were sold.After much reflection I finally realized that the local Sixt probably knew about this damage before hand, they probably didn’t want to get in trouble as they were a franchise and decided to perform a little repair with some paint that most people would ignore or not see. Since this Sixt location did not have cameras like every other rental company at DFW they knew the next person renting this Arcadia could not ask for Sixt’s own photos. (Budget, Avis and others even have scanning cameras as you exit and from what I hear will show you the, if you have new damage.) Then when the next unsuspecting person (me) rents the car and does catch it they can claim it’s new when you return and get the car fixed, thus avoiding any penalties from corporate for damage they created.Stay away for Sixt, they are dishonest and liars. Search around and you will find hundred of stories like mine.One more thing: I purchased insurance for this vehicle through a third party, after much review they denied the claim as it was not caused by the driver (me.)

This place is a scam...seriously...do not rent from here...they will nickel and dime you...advertised rental price on the net may be lower but when all is said and done they are 35% more expensive for similar vehicle as any other spot...also signed up for high end model...when i got there they said they were out so the gave me a KIA sorrento but charged the same price...i am not kidding, this place is a scam...google sixt is a scam hundreds of similar bait and switch stories along with horrible customer service

Rented a Range Rover for 10 days and it had vibration at 55mph. They didnt have replacement and no discount given. Most probably will not use them again. Very disappointed.

The staff were very friendly with pick-up and return and explain clearly understandable contract details. It was not trying to sell me additional insurance, which would not have covered my booked package anyway. The return was done together with a Sixt staff and there were no complaints or the attempt to charge me any damage that already existed. The car (Chevy Silverado) was absolutely top and the vehicle was handed me clean.
