II work here cleaning Cars for Sixt. I work from 9am to 5pm. Non stop cleaning Cars in da heat by myself. And the Boss Talk very mean an aggressive towards Me. I forgot to send in time sheet I lost track of time when working. No one deserves to be talk to like that. I quit gett another job. That boss blacker than Me and Yet act like he didnt like My black shin. Nice job I really like. Bad boss to work for.

Check in was quick and easy. Very friendly staff and the best part - free upgrade 👌Couldnt be happier with this experience. We got the car for a long trip and it was extremely comfortable. We were causing about following the rules so didnt incur any additional fees. Looking forward to booking again! Thank you Sixt.

Read the reviews and was a little worried after I had made the reservation. I arrived and they did not have the car that I had reserved (like most reviews stated) However, they upgraded me to a brand new car of my choice at no extra charge. The car was AMAZING and only had 300miles on it. They were closed when I returned, I left the key with the front desk manager (I was a little nervous about this) but within 20 min. of them opening I received an email. Confirming the drop off. I was charged appropriately and will most definitely rent with them again!! Really great price for the rental!!! Dont believe all the bad reviews!!!!

They are willing to share with you something we all need to know, for premium vehicles have major cc but for other suvs like mid size such as Toyota Highlander 7seater you can use your debit card. But they got better services and I will be back

I flew from California to Dallas to celebrate my brothers birthday. When I landed into DFW, I reserved a rental car from Sixt...but when I tried to call the location from my Uber, the Sixt office was closed. I couldnt even pick up the car!! And since I had to be in Grayson County that evening...I was forced to find an alternative form of transportation to get me from DFW. I tried calling Sixt customer service number several times...and never could reach anyone who was willing to assist me. However, they were QUICK to charge my credit card for a rental car I never got to drive. And they think I am being unreasonable for wanting my $307 back!!! I will never use Sixt Rental Car Company ever again! And after all the emails back and forth...you would think someone would have the courtesy to call me and tell me why they feel its OK for them to keep my hard earned money.. Horrible people, horrible service!

Service was good, and we were provided with a great car that was actually an upgrade from what we originally booked, at no extra cost. The actually vehicle (Mazda CX-6) was an amazing experience. I suggest requesting this car. It provided GPS and ITUNES compatibility with your phone. There was also reverse camera assistance and blind spot alerts while driving. Even the cruise control sensed other vehicles in front of you, and automatically slowed down, but picked back up speed on its own once the vehicle was no longer in front of you. GREAT CAR and overall experience. Thank you

Im glad I didnt read these reviews bc I absolutely would not have rented it I had. Getting up to the pick up was a nightmare& it was so hard to contact with anybody I cried, multiple times.After I went to the counter due to it being impossible to communicate with them?? Priceless. Ashley at the counter went above and beyond to make sure I was TOTALLY taken care of. She is an angel, and her manager is a peach too. I got my rental&&he made sure it was extended out like I needed& restored my faith in this company Id never even heard of prior to this trip. I will probably be a sixt customer from now on.....

Horrible! They never have luxury cars for rent. This company will try to take your money even when you dont decide to go through with a rental in lieu of them not having the cars within the classes that they promise to have. Since when did a Chevrolet Blazer become luxury? I have tried to rent from them twice however; I ended up leaving and dissatisfied because I felt tricked. No since of customer service whatsoever. My reservation was for 3:30 PM. They knew in the morning they had no cars available for me yet and still they allowed me to driver over there in the rain to attempt to stick me into some trash. Never pay in advance to this company.

I had a great experience with this company and it was a seamless rental process. For anyone having issues with damages, be sure to take photos of your vehicle once you get it so you can dispute it once returned (This applies to any rental car you get). Customer service was super friendly and the agents were nice and helpful when needed.

I used a link from Lyft to find a rental car at Sixt. The rental agent was polite and made the process easy. I forgot my garage door opener in the rental. I called to explain what happened. Aaron took my information. When I arrived, the next day, my opener was there for me. I’m about to make another rental now. Great job!

Horrible!!! Do NOT rent from them! The rental office was closed for the night by the time our flight arrived. Many others had the same issue and no one could reach anyone. The phone number gives you the run around and disconnects you so you aren’t able to talk to anyone. Finally reached someone on the day we were supposed to pick up our rental and they said the branch was closed and we could get the rental the following day or he would send an email with cancellation info. Never got the email. Still Can’t access anything on the website and can’t actually get through to speak to anyone on the phone. Would NEVER rent with them!!!! If I could give negative stars I would!!

I have never been to a better rental car agency with such friendly people and fast service. This is by far the only car rental agency that I ever want to do business with because their vehicles are up to date, they are well kept and they really know how to make you feel like you are important when you come into one of their locations. At their Dallas Addison located inside the Marriot hotel, youll find the employees there to be very knowledgeable about their services and also they will go out of their way to make you smile and if something is wrong with a vehicle or reservation they will do whatever they have to do to make it right. Thank you Sixt for everything and I look forward to renting with you again.

First time with Sixt and a Very Bad experience all around. Upon arrival, I had to wait for about an hour before the staff, alongside the branch Manager, could get their head around helping with my reservation, which they later blamed on technical issues on their part.A discount refund was promised for this delay and inconvenience caused by the aforementioned technical problem.Subsequently, I attempted to do an extension, but this wasnt possible due to the unresolved technical issue, and I was left stranded in Dallas.Long story short, I have made several attempts at getting the promised refund but to no avail. Staff and Manager keep playing games each time I call over the branch regarding the refund.I just thought to leave a review regarding their customer service. Youll likely not get value for your time as a result of this service.One star is for the Car. Excellent cars, terrible customer service.

Reserve and paid in full a Range Rover or something in its class a month in advance. When I came to pick up car at Addison Branch, employee told me that a car in my class is not available. Called customer service and they told me that someone will reach out to me in 24 hours. No one contacted me after a week. I had to call customer service several times. It’s like they seem to not care. Renting from Sixt was a terrible experience. I would never rent from them again

Tried this place out for the 1st time due to low cost - absolutely horrible. Took more than 3 hours to pick up car and wasnt even what I reserved. That resulted in being overcharged which I am now still trying to have resolved more than 2 weeks after my return date. No one answers the phones, responds to emails or is in the office consistently. Will pay more from now on to rent from somewhere else.

I booked a rental for 7 days (prepaid). When i went for the pick, i asked the executive if i can reduce the rental period of 5 days. The executive happily reduced the rental period to 5 days and generated a new agreement with updated price. I returned the vehicle before 5th day. I later see that i am charged for my initial agreement of 7 days. Now on enquiring, the customer care has sent me a response that they cannot reduce the rental period for prepaid booking.Except for creating a ticket, i am unable to contact them through any other means.

I had no problem w the facility it was normal and as expected- nothing above or beyond. Upon getting the vehicle I learned of the parameters of “the region” where the vehicle could go, after being told nationwide. Double checked my initial reservation and it did not indicate parameters, however once you pay nothing can be or will be refunded per customer support which I was unable to contact via phone but had to use email. I likely will never use this company again even though I had great interactions when I used them in California. I ended up renting from another service to avoid paying the additional .50 per mile on rental if I went out of “the region”

PLEASE PLEASE, save your time and money. Worst experience, I have had to date with a rental company! The cars advertised are not the cars they have and their reason is because corporate won’t allow them to edit the site.As I waited to talk to a manager who was in a conference behind the wall and hour later I am told that he has left to go to another location. Mmmm interesting and this is after his employees told him/her that they had a very upset customer. But I never saw anyone leave because I was sitting right by the door. Now one of the guys tells me oh when we say behind he is in the conference room that is not in here so if you stand by the door it kind of behind in another building 😂.They are a joke, while I am upset one of the guys asks where i am from because of my accent, umm rude!! I missed a very important funeral because of this!You are better off at enterprise, honestly I’m not sure why I even tried them. Their review score is accurate do not give them a chance

Terrible service. I am German and have been a long-time Sixt customer. Ive rented at this Dallas location twice and the service was terrible on both occasions. The attendant is just plain rude and clearly thinks he is doing you a favor. Renting at the DFW airports Sixt is pricier because of the concession fees, but the service level is completely different.

This company had been the far worse! I would recommend everyone to stay away or anybody for that matter. They are so rude in the cooperate office they need to learn how to speak to people which they don’t! The office can’t see notes from other departments just who you called so you have to keep repeating yourself it’s frustrating. They lie about prices and reservations. It’s hard to get in contact with the long term department which they never respond. A supervisor with cooperate was also being a smart a** on the phone which was so unprofessional. I was 11 days late on returning the vehicle because my company haves several locations and I was 7 hours away when they are telling me I have to drive back to do the contract again when they told me I need to call Florida which was not true. At had a flat tire then a week later the engine light me and my son was stranded and missed our flights I can go on and on.

Read, believe the reviews and stay away!!FIRST ISSUE: ScamI rented a car with sixt because I was in an accident the day before Thanksgiving. I prepaid for a 5 day rental to which my reservation confirmation and receipt both stated. When it came time to be reimbursed for my rental through my car insurance company, they called to confirm with sixt as they normally do and they claimed that my rental was only 4 days, regardless of my paperwork says.SECOND ISSUE: NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!When I went to drop off the rental, the office was closed. There was no drop box for the key and a number on the door to “call if you have questions”, but number was useless, like all of the numbers, because their recording states that due to the pandemic, they are not utilizing their phone. Just to speak to someone at the office, I had to call the front desk of the hotel where their rental location is to get the number to sixt.THIRD ISSUE: DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BELONGS!I forgot a couple of personal belongs in the rental, which was 100% my fault and I fully accept that. This issue here is that I drove by the very next day to ask for them back. The clerk at the counter checked with the person that cleans details the rentals when returned and was told “I saw the belongings and threw them away.” Again, complexity my fault but damn, give someone a chance to realize they forgot something or have a list and found before just tossing someone’s belongings in the trash.

Worst Experience ever, I tried to cancel around 2 weeks from pick up date and they charged me penalty almost the same as the rental value itself. this is making no sense.Also when I booked the car it was saying free cancelation anytime.I tried to call and the machine hang up on me automatically.this is unaccepted costumer service.I dont recommend it.

Edit: 2 months later, and I still havent received the promised refund for filling up their own vehicle with gas.Horrific is the only way to describe it. Waited an hour before getting the vehicle, because the vehicle I reserved wasnt available. Another group was in the exact same position, and the individual checking both of us in was incredibly toxic and rude. He was snide and dismissive, sneering at the notion one might be agitated the car they reserved wasnt available. When they asked whether theyd receive a credit for accepting a smaller car, he responded curtly no, of course not, you prepaid - theres nothing I can do. Its not my fault the car didnt get returned. What do you expect me to do about it? as he sent them driving 30 mins to the airport to pick up another car. I understand that things happen, but his attitude made things worse and the abuse the other customers received was undeserved.I was given an option of two other vehicles since my vehicle wasnt available despite my reservation. I was already an hour into the process and just accepted what was there. I needed the room for my equipment and had a 5 hour drive ahead of me. The individual that ended up coming in and delivering the car to me was much more pleasant, however, the car had just been returned and not cleaned. This did not bother me, but he did mention the tire was low on pressure. Given my rush and the fact that it seemed like a slow leak, 15 mins later he returned and gave me the car. I also later saw the tank was only half full.When I returned the car, they commented the tank was only half full, since I had filled it to the previous amount and even showed the image to the representative. They forced me to go and fill up the tank myself (again, another waste of 20 mins for check in) but ensured me theyd refund me the cost of gas. Not wanting to argue, I obliged. Later on, I end up getting claim against me for the tire damage for the leak that was already present before I received the car.Sixt is cheaper than other options, but I guess you get what you pay for. In the end, the abuse and sub-par experience bridge the savings divide.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental company . I got there at 9 am to pick up a rental but wasn’t checked out until after 11. I had a road trip planned for that day and I ended up leaving the state super late and had to amend all my plans. On top of that, the rental agent didn’t seem to have any remorse or any sense of urgency in helping me out. I was also promised a discount on my total invoice due to the lost of 2+ hours but was never given the discount. I will never recommend Sixt to anyone I know and I will never book with Sixt again.

I prepaid for a rental and when I got there they told me there were no cars available. I asked about getting a car at another location and the representative told me I’d have to pay for it. Mind you I Ubered here and now have to pay to Uber back home. The manager was very uncooperative and didn’t attempt to call the other location or offer me any alternatives other than saying I could come back tomorrow. Totally unacceptable. Horrible customer service and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Vehicle was great, but a $40 cab ride from the airport and even though I had a scheduled pickup time, I waited over an hour for my vehicle, while being told over and over again, it will only be five more minutes. Just be honest upfront and it wouldn’t be so frustrating.

Terrible! Showed up on time to pick up my vehicle. SUV wasn’t ready. Had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be cleaned. Walked outside only to find the SUV had just been soaked with water and still dirty on the outside. No attempt at all to even dry off the SUV. Windshield still full of splattered bugs. I had to take it MYSELF to car wash to have it washed and cleaned!

I enjoyed the rental car and it was all relatively easy to retrieve and return the vehicle which was nice and clean. The issue was the desk agent who had the personality of a dead tree. He didn’t seem at all interested in being there and working and I apparently disturbed his online surfing. The other issue is unbeknownst to me, he inadvertently kept my driver’s license which required me returning to the rental agency. The thing is, he realized he kept my license and could easily have called to tell me that, but didn’t. The only reason why I realized he still had my license was because I happened to go shopping afterwards, otherwise, I might likely have gone on a road trip across state lines without my license. That would’ve been very problematic for purposes of checking into my hotel.Anyway, when I returned, the same agent was sitting at his work station and I told him he kept my license and he muttered “oh yeah.” No apology for the inconvenience.

The business is clean and looms nice, but dont let that fool you. There are a lot of hidden fees that they do not tell you about until they are about to charge you. We reserved 2 full-size SUVs for a funeral procession at $110 per vehicle on the phone. Got to the store front to pick up the SUVs, and had to add $56 per vehicle for insurance, which is a must. We went from $220 to $332, which is fine and dandy. When the employee went to authorize the transaction, we were told it had to be a credit card...well we have cash/debit. At no point was this mentioned to have a credit card. Then to top it off. We were then told of a $200 charge per vehicle. We managed to come up with a credit card but were then told we need $380 PER vehicle available on the credit card. This was absolutely ridiculous and I will never recommend or use this company ever.

Horrible customer service. They changed their hours and didn’t notify me and allowed me to book a pickup time after hours. Drove out of my way twice! The second time I show up they don’t even have the car available and inform me that I can be given a lesser car and drive to the airport myself to get what I had previously paid for months in advance. Absolutely RIDICULOUS! Not to mention I was the only person here to actually pick up a car and it still took over 45 min to get the vehicle for me. 2 other people came in while I waited for my vehicle to drop their keys off and said they both had horrendous experiences with this company and location as well! I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone at this facility for the last 5 days after being incorrectly charged $200 on my invoice and no one will answer the phone. I got an email that I havent returned my car even though it was dropped off yesterday. After being on hold for over 30mins, the associate said that their systems still have it as checked out.I wish there was a better process of checking out like having the renter sign off something instead of just dropping it off. I dont recommend.Also, the car that we got smelled awful and we had to febreeze the interior and use a strong air freshener.Overall, I dont recommend

Not open during their posted hours, causing a big transportation issue. The hotel that this is based in says they come and go whenever they feel like it and there’s no way to reach them. How unprofessional! And they still want to charge me? Definitely not using them again.

This satellite branch has good pricing but suffers from under staffing, very limited inventory and a failure to deliver clean vehicles as booked. Sixt regularly books vehicles and confirms their availability to this location, but this site rarely has the vehicle available. I met w several customers on both pick up and drop off with similar frustrated results. Vehicles were not clean, damaged, long, long wait times. My pick up took 90 minutes and I had to drive an extra hour to the DFW airport location to retrieve the vehicle I had booked - unacceptable. The staff did give me a $60 discount for my troubles which was appreciated. I would like to use again for a month long rental but very leery that I will have a better experience.

I understand rental car companies provide terrible service as a whole, its part of the game. Sixt takes it to a whole lower level. They are the absolute worst in a bunch of bad players. The pickup process was awful! The worst thing though was there was no one around when we dropped the car back. Sixt didnt check it in until 5 hours later causing us to pay for another day and extra fees! I have tried to call, never get a person and it hangs up on you. I emailed through the website, NO REPLY! I tired to protest the charges with Chase and they wont do anything unless I have proof of the drop off time. I have no way to prove! No one was there! Dont fall for the fancy website and available cars. This company does not care about their customers!

Terrible experience. Confirmed pick-up for 7am, arrived at branch to find it does not open until 9am. Representative showed up at 9:15. The car that I had reserved is not available so I am offered a smaller car that is not large enough for my party. This car was also dirty.I will never use this company for my rental needs again.

Dishonest agency. Dont be misled by the claimed Mercedes in their website. No matter what type of car you choose, you always get a Volvo. I reserved a Mercedes online. When I picked the car, they told me they didnt have any Mercedes at that time and they gave me a Volvo. They told me I can switch for a Mercedes next day if I dont like it. I went to switch then they said they still dont have any Mercedes. I asked if they can check is there any Mercedes in the Airport branch. The girl immediately said no there is no any car I booked. Without checking anything! Not even pretend checking on the computer. Im very disappointed. I believe Sixt dont care about their customers and their reputation. As long as you paid, their will not take care of you. Moreover, check the reply under every 1-star review here. You will find out Sixt just reply with standard message. They dont even care what kind review customers give to them. They dont want solving any problems. I am only leaving 1 star because I cant leave zero stars. Dont EVER rent a car from these buffoons. They have no clue how to run a car rental business. I returned the car i rented early and they lost the keys to it. Then I received multiple calls and emails blaming me for their losing the keys. They have great cars and attractive rates, but not worth the hassle. Go rent somewhere else.

Wish I did not have to give 1 star. Picking up the car was a issue because I used my debit card to book which I was not able to use so I had to change to a credit card or provided 2 bills that I did not have with me on my way out of town. Having the car was great, but then after dropping off the car my card was charged the correct amount for the rental, but 2 days later I was charged a $250 cleaning fee without being told or given any options to have the car cleaned on my own. I have had 4 rental in 2 months and have never had this problem or left a car dirty just like I did not leave this one that way. I think this was horrible customer service and a way to take money from people. I will never use this company again.

Generally had a good experience. Check out initially was very slow with only one associate and me needing to get on the road, however the car was great and the return was easy. I was puzzled by the states they restrict you from driving in, for example Kansas, but you can drive all the way to Colorado? Weird. I returned it moderately clean, and as of a week later I’ve received no abnormal charges as seen in other reviews. I would definitely use them again.

This was the first and only time I will ever rent from SIXT! Ive been told to pay extra with the more expensive rental companies, and now I see why! Im listing my experiences below in hopes of deterring anyone thinking of renting from SIXT themselves!1 - When I arrived to pick up the car there were two other customers in front of me, and two employees. Even so, it took 45 minutes for me to get my car. One of the employees literally walked past everyone in line while on his phone and proceeded to ignore everyone while continuing to sit at the front desk, still playing on his phone. At first I thought maybe he was on his lunch break, but realized that it was only 10:00am and theyd just opened an hour earlier.2 - I rented an intermediate class vehicle, and when it was FINALLY my turn was told that I would be receiving a Kia Forte. I told the employee that I had reserved an intermediate class, and she reassured me that the Kia Forte was indeed intermediate, when a quick Google search immediately shows that its compact. I did not receive the class of car I paid for.3 - The vehicle smelled like a rolling ash trey. Im allergic to cigarette smoke and was never told that I would be receiving a smoke-friendly vehicle, so my stomach was in knots whenever I was in the vehicle due to the extremely strong smell.4 - When driving the vehicle I noticed that it pulled very strongly to the right side. I thought that this was due to alignment issues, which clearly shouldve been addressed, however I later discovered that ALL of the tires were greatly in need of air and that the right, back tire was 10 LBS lower than the others!!! The problem was immediately fixed once I aired up the tires to their appropriate weights, and Im glad that I resolved the issue before a tire blew out. I would think that this would be standard in checking before renting out the vehicle, and something that is a MASSIVE safety hazard if left unchecked!!!5 - The vehicle was also completely out of wiper fluid, which was also a standard, very easy fix became another safety hazard for the driver. I get that its a budget rental car company, but you seriously cant check to see if your cars have wiper fluid?!?!6 - I had scheduled to return the car at 6:00pm on a Sunday, and discovered upon pick-up that the SIXT office closed at 2:00pm. They instructed me to park the vehicle in one of their marked spots at the hotel where the office was located and provide the keys to the hotel front desk. Upon arriving at the hotel ALL marked spots were full, and I had to circle the parking lot multiple times before an unmarked spot became available. Again, an easy fix for the company to provide enough spots for the amount of returned vehicles that day, but due to lack of common sense resulted in a headache for the customer.I have never had such a negative experience when renting a car, and will NEVER rent from SIXT again.

I used a debit card to rent online. They require a utility bill but I did not bring a bill and the account was recently closed because I no longer live at that residence. The only other option is credit card and I dont have one. I just wasted some time.

I’m writing this review To advise you to NOT rent with Sixt. I received subpar sanitization services on my rental car. I anticipated to receive a Volkswagen or similar vehicle when I booked through Expedia to travel due to a family emergency, When I went to pick up the vehicle, I was advised that rental needed to be sanitized and cleaned prior to releasing it to me which would take about 10-15 minutes. I agreed, and much to my dismay when I opened the car to climb inside there were food crumbs, sticky residue, and receipts left in the car from the previous driver. When I notified staff of the unsanitary vehicle, I was told that the car just came in from the airport and they were unaware and took another colleagues word for performing the “proper cleaning” measures. The representative took the car to vacuum the crumbs out, but a sticky residue was still left in the car along with receipts from the previous driver. With COVID in high drive nationwide I would hope all businesses were alert and performing their due diligence when it comes to safety, sanitization, and quality services. I am beyond disappointed and hope that someone will work to mediate a positive resolution as I will be escalating this further up the corporate ladder. Also, I filed a complaint through customer service 5 days ago and STILL haven’t received any call back or resolution. They are complete trash!

I am a Sixt platinum customer so I have experienced many different branches. This branch operates like molasses, they are slow and messy. I have received dirty cars and have even had to wait for a car because it wasnt brought back in time. They do no answer the phone and do not return your call when you leave a message. I had asked for an SUV and the car didnt come back in time, so they put me in a sedan and asked me to come back the next day. I came back the next day and swapped the car, no big deal. A few weeks later, I received an email telling me I had put a huge dent in the car door of the sedan they put me in. They had inspected the car on return, how the heck did I put a dent in a car that was in their possession? They also billed me at the SUV rate on the day that I had the sedan. If you ever need to modify your reservation, look at your charges. I had a car for 2 days instead of three and was billed for 3 days. I checked the times to make sure it didnt carry over into the third day and let the clerk know. Her response was simply there was nothing that she could do. Sixt, please reevaluate the staff in this location!!!

Sixt is great company & my experience about this company is really great. Car was really nice & in perfect shape . I book Mercedes , paid in advance & did confirmation checking as well to make sure to get that same car & they gave that same car but with problems on one side and after that they gave me volvo which was fantastic but i was looking for Mercedes only. This process take around 45+ minutes of my time which was really concerning.

Sixt has such a great tech presence I assumed the locations would be the same. I have only experienced the one, but I was under impressed. Their systems were not working so the car I booked and pre-paid for online was not actually available so, of course, I had to pay for the next level up car. Cars were in short supply in Dallas on this day so I took what I could get. I spent time filling out forms and fending off the constant up selling attempts. Car was nice and did the job but the experience was not one I would like to repeat if I can avoid it.

These instructions are useful if you are on a budget, have a lot of time and don’t mind walking the last mile to the rental location:From any other terminal except Terminal A, go upstairs to the Orange Terminal Link area. Wait for the inter-Terminal shuttle to take you to Terminal A.Once you arrive at Terminal A, Walk to the train station downstairs (the train will say Parker). Purchase your ticket (if its afternoon, the ticket is only $1.50), and get on the train. Stay on the train until you arrive at the Bachmann Transit station.There you will get off the Orange Line train and get on the Green Line train seemingly heading in the opposite direction. This is the Carrollton train.Stay on the Carrollton train until you arrive at the Farmers Branch stop. If you board bus #488, the bus will not stop at the hotel. The closest stop is about 1 mile away. Be prepared to walk or take an Uber from where you get off.Perhaps Sixt may consider a shuttle from DFW to this rental site to help ease rental loads from DFW. An Uber/ Lyft costs $35-$40.00 from DFW to this location.

Where do I start? My husband and daughter in law and granddaughter flew into the Dallas Airport. We were flying to my Sons Air Force graduation. My daughter in law booked the trip down to every last detail. We walked up to the car rental counter and waited behind a couple who also booked a Luxury vehicle. Specifically a BMW. The young woman behind the counter tried to tell them she reserved a MAZDA for them. I told the gentlemen that MAZDA isnt on any Luxury platform. They left angry. I walked up with my daughter in law to get our rental. She said we could have a Chevy Impala. I asked if there was a Ford product we could upgrade to. The young woman said We dont rent Fords. I opened the flip book of what they rented out. First page, Lincoln Navigator. I sold Ford/Lincoln for 8 years so I know cars. I asked her if she knew what that SUV was. Then I turned the page to a Ford Mustang. I pointed at the picture and asked the girl at the counter what kind of car it was.When we went to pick up our Chevy Impala the nice young woman at that desk said they dont even have a Chevy Impala. She gave my daughter in law the keys to a Mercedes SUV. It had dings and dents. Scuffs and scratches which I noted on the check out diagram.Upon returning the vehicle there was No one to check it in.A few days later my daughter in law gets a call asking for our insurance company information. I called and told them there was no way we were going to pay for that damage.Long story short, this was horrible customer service because the agent did not know her inventory. My Husband walked over to Avis and rented us a convertible Mustang GT in 6 minutes. Obviously this company has a 3.0 star rating! Laura Lawless

Its almost comical how terrible this company is. This is such an unnecessary waste of time and energy for us, and customers as a whole.Its sad that rather than look internally, after reviewing honest customer feedback, that they instead are choosing to be vindictive. Spend less time trying to punish those of us who share honest feedback, and instead digest our feedback and look at how this shows opportunity for improvement for SixT._______________________Cons: Did not allow us to cancel without losing our money, pick up location was clearly not sanitized, car was filthy._______________________Its been a volatile summer as our family has booked, and subsequently cancelled, two summer vacations. Im sure many families have done the same.Each time weve shifted plans, the airlines and lodging companies have been incredibly gracious in understanding the current landscape of unpredictability with the pandemic, and allowed us to cancel with either full refunds or by providing a credit. The one exception to that was SixT.Sadly, SixT does not share the same values as others in the industry and decided to hold a hard line and not allow us to cancel our pre-paid reservation without us forfeiting all of our money.Because of this, we decided to use the rental for a short road trip in Texas. Our experience with picking up the rental was simple. For the most part, SixT employees were helpful throughout the process. Such was the case at the rental location.That said, in this time where we all are scrutinizing the cleanliness of our environment, the rental location, and specifically the counter, was a mess. Clearly visible were smudge marks on the counters where many customers had placed their hands and arms. With me being the first customer that morning, its clear that SixT does not have any processes in place to sanitize their environment each day, and protect their customers from potential contamination.Once we had the car handed over to us, again their lack of cleanliness was obvious. Sadly, the car we rented had not been thoroughly cleaned. Clearly visible were dust, smudges, sticky fluid, candy wrappers, and dirt. I suspect their team simply runs their cars through a car wash and vacuums whatever is visible. Which means that we were forced to spend our time thoroughly cleaning the interior before allowing our kids to ride in the car.Overall, its apparent that this company lacks strong, empathetic leadership. In the current uncertainty that were in, consumers need reassurance from brands that they are being vigilant and mindful of how this pandemic is impacting their customer base. Our experience with SixT, however, made it clear that they are singularly driven by the dollar and not in delivering positive customer experiences.With so many options available in a competitive industry, I cant imagine why anyone would spend their hard earned money supporting SixT. I know our experience is the last we will have with them.

They always have great vehicles and great prices. Sixt is the first place we check when renting a car. This trip was a silverado crew cab and it worked great for moving the family around and getting to the tailgate with all the equipment and plenty of room to spare. The features on the truck were great from plugs for power to a powered tailgate it was a treat to use.

Incompetent & rude employee. Opened office late. Did not inform us of additional charges, would not provide a military discount. Vehicle was dirty inside & outside. Vehicle only had half a tank of gas. We will never use this company again for rentals and we will never recommend this company to anyone. We will continue to stay with Enterprise.

Easy to book the appointment online, no wait to pick up the car and Otto who I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Being conveniently located in Addison off the toll road was nice as was being able to pick up before 9 AM on Saturdays (most other rentals were closed) along with being able to drop off on Sundays (other local car rental companies were closed on Sunday). Ill definitely consider using Sixt again, impressive service.

Ruined my holidays. Rented a car for 13 days (2020 volvo XC60 T6AWD). Day two, engine warning and oil change warning. After hours at the phone with them, they tell me to drive 2.5h to the closest location or have it repaired at a garage in town. I did the latter. Had to visit 5 garages due to the special oil, special filter and special tool to disassemble the filter this car required. Nobody had the three of them. Had to wait an extra day to have it serviced. They told me they would give me a discount for the inconveniency. The discount was charging me for 16 days instead of 13. Returned the car 5 days ago, and Im still trying to get them to charge the correct amount and the refund for the oil change and revision.

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I rented a car this past week and was given a very dirty Chevy Traverse. I returned the car and then get an final bill estimate in my email telling me that they are charging me a $250 cleaning fee to vacuum some dog hair from the interior of the car. Do they not have to vacuum the car anyways before they rent it out again? I was told they needed to take it to a place to get it vacuumed because they do not have the equipment on site. $250 cleaning fee is extremely excessive for some dog here that can be easily vacuumed. I will never rent from this company again. They are extremely inferior to the other major brands. This charge is very unethical. I have never experienced this with any other rental company and I’ve had to take my dog to daycare and back using other rental cars and was never assessed this type of fee.

Please, check your credit after you return the return car. Sixt has the proclivity to charge her customers for extra days and services that the customers have not used. It is pulling nails and teeth to have Sixt refund these extra fees, if you are diligent enough to check/notice the unauthorized charges.

Generally, not a great company to rent from. They will nickel and dime you for everything. Customer service was subpar. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up.Cars here are very limited. Most look very used and reek of smoke. Do your self a favor a go to the airport. I would not come here again and I would not recommend.

I requested a 4WD and after getting on the road realized it was not a 4WD. I called the manager at the Addison location and he was extremely helpful in getting us into the vehicle we needed before we got out of town. We ended up having to go to DFW but it only delayed us an hour and the manager was super apologetic and helpful in making it right. Would definitely use Sixt again in the future. Pickup in Addison was easy.

Sixt was a life saver. ..I showed up at their door at the end of the day an emotional mess needing to rent a car due to family emergency. I forgot my major credit card at home while rushing out of the house they allowed me to usey debit card, even with my living out of state and no plane ticket. It was obvious the employee was truly trying to help me. Even with it being at end of day, no reservation they had me in a vehicle and on the road in less than 15 minutes. I ended up having to extend my trip a day and that couldnt have been easier either. Returning the vehicle took less than 5 minutes and I wasnt hit with any hidden charges. Great experience, wonderful vehicle, and Im verry appreciative of the service I received.

Do not rent from this place. They refunded me the wrong deposit and won’t pick up the phone now I have to go out of my way to go to the location to get my refund adjusted and i was charged the wrong rate. Worth it to just go with a company like Enterprise
