Luis was very helpful, friendly, & professional. The car was very clean & nice. The pick up and return were quick and simple. I would definitely rent from this Avis again.

This is an owner operated Avis rental company not a true Avis Rental Agency. The owner and employees are very personable and gracious. However, I am purposely giving 3 stars due to their cleaning policies. I’ve rented a million vehicles and have never seen a poster declaring $450 for excessive trash or pet hair considering the car you’re renting has 50k+ miles with wear and tear, not to mention grimy. How does one define excessive trash anyway? WARNING. If you own a pet, and pet hair is transferred on luggage or bags to vehicle, be prepared. I’ve never had this type of accusation but considering its location, a mom and pop shop and clientele, not surprised. In this covid-era, there are not many choices in rental cars. This location was my only choice. When writing a review I always ask myself if I would ever go back. In this particular case, the answer is no. Nice people but not worth the hassle if you’re used to the regular car rental agencies .

Great car rental experience. Zero hassle and an immaculate vehicle. My car broke down and my dealer didnt have a loaner vehicle to lend me while it was getting fixed. So, I booked last minute and same day via Avis with nothing but a good experience all around. I booked a compact car. But, when I finally got to this location to pick up the car (5 hours after my booked pickup time, due to towing delay); they didnt have any on the lot. But, no issue! They upgraded me to the full size car for the same price. Not to mention, the car was brand new and spotless. The car rental experience doesnt get better that this.

The employees were so kind and helpful. They made everything quick and painless and not intimidating. I don’t know much about car rental, and they made this whole process, start to finish, so so simple. I am grateful for the experience, and the car ran fantastic for what I needed it for (road trip). It was comfortable and I felt safe in it. All functions worked perfectly.

Website says this location takes debit cards. I reserved a car ten days in advance. I recieved many many texts and emails to remind me of my reservation. Upon arriving I was told, no I have to have a credit card. After long calls with corporate, I find out that I didnt qualify due to no credit. In 10 days, not once did they notify me so I could make other plans. They REMINDED me numerous times,... notified me NONE. It took me 6 months to save the money to rent a car and buy NONREFUNDABLE tickets to the event I was renting the car for. When they told me they were not going to rent me a car, I immediately burst out crying because all I wanted to do was take my autistic son to somewhere he was soooo excited to go. I failed him. He was so excited for our trip. He is crushed. I am crushed. I failed my son because these people were too lazy to pick up a phone and tell me prior to arrival that they declined me service. They cost me 400 dollars in the nonrefundable tickets. And they absolutely shredded my heart to watch my autistic son cry his eyes out that he wasnt going to get to go on the awesome trip his Mommie promised. All they had to do was notify me of their decline of my credit. Their laziness and incompetence caused every tear that fell from my little boys eyes and that is unforgivable.

I was told since I used my debit card that I would be charged a $200.00 deposit. Needless to say when I called and asked about my deposit the gentleman over that phone told me I wasnt charged a deposit. Im listening to the same gentleman tell a lady prior to me that she had to pay a $200.00 deposit as well because of her credit and she was using a debit card. Please watch these people. I think more than $200.00 was taken off my card!!!! Beware

The gentleman (Phillips and Lewis do and amazing job. each time i come here they show me wonderful customer service and are very kind. I enjoy beening here and reserving my cars from them. Even when I need a change or anything on the vehicle, they are much happy to help, Plus prices are always open for them and are very low from other places.

This location has always been my favorite. They are very efficient and customer service is exceptional. It was very clean inside and my rental was thoroughly cleaned.

The first day I came here, the manager Phillip very respectful toward me and he appreciated my services of coming theyre ,renting a vehicle from him. I was also intrigued by his coworker as well for the hard work that he put in to make sure that I had a happy renting experience and also making sure that the vehicle that I got was something that I wanted. I never once had to repeat myself or say anything twice because everything that I spoke the first time they heard and listen to me. You dont get a lot of rental companies that actually care about the customer more so than the business that they own or the money that they get! But this Avis locations is super amazing and I cant ask for anything greater because they exceeded my expectations flawlessly each time I have rented here. Even when I had a minor hiccup with the vehicle they were sell polite an genuine the whole entire time. I continuously giving my services here and I will continuously give them a thousand and 10% more. Thank you!

I was completely unsatisfied w my experience. I called and paid over the phone to rent an Altima. Upon arrival, I was informed that they didnt have an Altima, never had one, only moments after the agent over the phone said they did. I was given a Camry. After paying over the phone, I thought payment would be complete. I was informed that even though I purchased over the phone, there would still be a $250 deposit on top of the prepayment; that $469 charge locked up my debit card for other purchases shortly thereafter. I did not add insurance because I had rental insurance through my personal insurance. After arriving at my location, I stayed in for a day as the weather was bad. When I tried to start the car the next day, it would not start, the battery had died. I did not leave a light on, radio and anything like that. I called the 1-800 number to get a battery jump and was informed that bc I didnt purchase insurance, it would cost me $219 to jump a battery. Dismayed and shocked, I repeated the price and asked is it correct. Again, after quoting that I didnt pay for insurance, the agent rudely stated it would cost $219 for the assist .. to jump a battery! Honestly had it not been for the Garland location employees, I would have cancel the reservation and had my bank block the $219 prepay. I have rented from all the major rentals, and have never had anything like this experience. I was completely surprised that it was happening w Avis, as I use to have an Avis acct. Again, the one bright side was the employees at the Avis location. I think my agent was Luis, dont remember his partners name. They were great. They were very apologetic about the misleading phone call and the addl $250, and they too were shocked about the 1-800 response to jump a battery. I chose Avis over Enterprise and the rest due to our history together. I must admit, especially during this pandemic, that I expected so much more from Avis but was sorely disappointed.

My car had broke down, Mr. Fida rented me car that worked for my budget. You hardly see to many nice people like Mr. Fida. We need more people like him in this world.

My husband and I needed a 7 passenger vehicle to bring our kids home from KY. We originally had reservations with Enterprise where a reservation means NOTHING! I called Avis literally the morning we were suppose to leave praying they had something available but didnt have my hopes up, not only did they help us but the customer service was great! Well continue to use this company and this location because the owner was SO helpful and we were so relieved to be able to pick up our kids and bring them home. Thank you!!

The car was clean and drove well. The service was pleasant... well, more than pleasant actually... I can easily say that the service was excellent. The manager or person who assisted me was helpful, considerate and friendly. Everything went smoothly.

I placed a reservation for a vehicle early last week. When I show up to get my rental the guy says we dont have any vehicles. He was able to find me a vehicle and gave me a discount but still charged me more for the upgrade. This was unacceptable. And you do not send clients an hour away to the nearest airport to get a vehicle. I have used Avis for years and this one incident has pushed me to find someone else.

Store on Northwest Hwy in Dallas, the store I rent cars from has the best customer service and really does a wonderful job. Luis is the manager the staff are all great

Staff are always friendly and service is courteous and quick. Vehicles are well maintained and always clean. I rent here every summer for family vacation and would recommend their service to others.

We made a reservation online, received confirmation of said reservation, arrived at the arranged time, and were only then informed that this location simply had no cars, making the reservation process completely pointless. The employees at this location offered no help outside an 800 number, which was unnecessarily complicated to navigate through. Once we finally spoke to a representative, we were informed that he couldnt make a car appear, a highly unprofessional comment to make to a distressed customer, and then all he could offer was to transfer our reservation to another location, half an hour away. It is incredibly unlikely we will ever use this location, or Avis Car Rental, again.

I always have a good experience at this Avis location. I rent a car 3-4 times a year and Im in and out in no time. I usually reserve a vehicle ahead of time, but if I decide to change the type of vehicle, there is NEVER any problem. The best part is the staff, they are friendly and always honest about the vehicles. I wish I knew their names! The vehicles are ALWAYS in good shape and very clean and they always have a cool variety of things. I probably wont rent from anywhere else.

Great service, great vehicles, definitely helped me in a time of need when I was involved in a car accident. However I wouldnt recommend staying in any of their vehicles for over a week. Hidden fees and taxes are outrageous and some are seeemingly made up, do be aware of this when renting here.

This location is apparently under new ownership or management (there are conflicting opinions as to whether or not this is a Corporate Location). Previously this location had an excellent selection of vehicles and a friendly staff. Now, customer service is extremely poor and vehicle selection quite limited. The 4+ star rating for this location is attributed solely to the previous management.

Avis was once flawless in my eyes and Ive used them for the past decade at least, however this weekend was by far the worst experience Ive ever had. I rented a Dodge Durango for a weekend and specifically and repeatedly explained to the employee I have the best insurance which covers me and has been covering me on any car rental. The Durango was filthy and had stains scattered around the car, and had a horrendous stench.. to top things off the wiper fluid wouldnt work properly which obviously is critical to a road trip. The traction control was going haywire and we were almost killed multiple times en route. When we returned the car and tried to explain to the employee simply so this wouldnt happen to another person he blew us off as though we were liars and he even went as far as telling us to never come back to the location.. that is in no way what you call customer service with a smile.. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!.. unless you want to get sick to your stomach as me and my family were unfortunately.. shame on Avis for allowing this employee to represent their company.. smh..
