I have used Dallas Car Care for years, and although we may not have been their best customer we were regulars customers coming in several times a year with our 2007 Escalade ESV and 2001 Corvette. Rob and Dave are the owners and on Thursday June 10, 2021 I called up to the shop and talked with Rob. I told him the AC in my Corvette was blowing hot on the drivers side and cold on passengers side and although I was pretty sure my left actuator was bad I would like to get a charge on the AC to make sure the problem wasnt just low Freon. I asked him how long it would take since I had to work Thursday evening at 6:30. He told me an hour and I said be right there. Dropped it off at 2:45 and asked him to call me when it was ready. Also told Rob that I thought the left actuator was going out would he please give me an estimate for it, and he said he would. At 5:25 I called them, twice since they close at 5:30 and I had not heard from them. No answer. Arranged a ride to work and drove by at 5:40 just to see if they still might be open, or someone there since they close at 5:30. Locked up tight, good thing was my car was inside where I parked it, hood still open and looked like nothing had been done. Friday morning I called up there, spoke with Rob again and he was dismissive when I asked why he didnt call me yesterday to even tell me the car wouldnt be ready. I asked about the bill and he said he didnt add it up yet but It wouldnt kill me finally asked about the estimate ( He told me 3 times during the call that the left actuator was going out, I wanted to say yes I know, I told you that yesterday ) He said I dont have anyone young enough to get under there and fix it.Rob wasnt there when I went to pick up my car, I did explain to Dave all the things I have written here, my complaints and why I was upset with their service. Dave just smiled and said he had been in business for 42 years and wasnt concerned that I was upset. Even when I told him I had to arrange other transportation last night. Just keep smiling and saying he didnt mind if he lost business 42 years is a long time etc.... Well Dave and Rob treat your clients like you treated me and I am sure your wish will come true sooner than you think.What really upsets me the most is a good mechanic and car repair shop is hard to find, especially being a woman with a sports car. Most men thing I have no idea about my car and how it works. And I am sorry to loose Dallas Car Care as someone I could trust with my cars, but I will not be back.

Best place to take your vehicle for device bar none. Locally owned, honest and fair pricing. Quality work. I own 8 vehicles, several classic cars and I only let these guys work on them.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I called ahead to see if there was a good time to show up for an inspection and the man that answered my call was very nice. I was assisted immediately upon arrival, the service was quick, and once again, the customer service was great! Definitely recommend.

Been taking our cars here for a couple of years after a friends recommendation. Theyd done oil changes, alignment, suspension work, inspections, and other small repairs. Always very friendly and fast, and have even finished some work that Id started and then got in a jam on. Both of the owners have been good to deal with, giving pragmatic advice on older cars, and not pushing unnecessary repairs. Well, this time I was prepared to be disappointed. We had a warranty issue; I dont know if it was just a bad part or an error in installation, but there was an issue somewhere. Took it back in and was prepared for an argument, since this is usually where it goes bad and its time to find a new shop...... Not this time! Problem fixed 100%, car back, got a $0 warranty repair ticket, and a sorry for the trouble. As they say, were not defined by our mistakes but how we recover from them. These guys are solid.

I have a Ford Transit 250 Van that had a grinding brake issue and needed same day service. Guys there could have easily said my van is to high, we dont have a lift for your van, were too busy, or can you leave the van for a couple days, like the other shops told me. They all worked together, made it work, changed my brake pads, did a professional install and most importantly for me and my contracting business, the same day!

I took my Toyota truck in shortly before they closed to find out what was wrong with it. The owner pretty much knew the issue immediately. He said Toyota has a campaign (recall) to fix the issue, and that I should go to a Toyota dealership.Without the recall, it would come at a very high cost to fix. He could have easily charged me a diagnostic fee, and charged me to have it fixed; which I was prepared to do. It would have been a very profitable job for him.I called toyota, and they said it’s not a recall. I let him know what they said and he offered to call the dealership on my behalf to get it fixed, saving me a good chunk of change. (He knows the guys at the dealership) Pretty admirable, especially considering it was my first time going there and he didn’t know me from Adam. FIVE STARS!

Left my car with them for the day to diagnose a serious front end suspension problem— they call me to tell me it’s ready, and that they had “fixed the problem.” Come to find out they Didn’t fix any of the problems and tried to charge me almost $100 after they told me the diagnostic would be at no charge unless they took it apart, which they admitted they did not do.So the one star is for them giving me my keys without paying, even though they tried to screw me by charging me to begin with.

I wish I had known about them years ago. Ive been to many different repair shops through the years, some were alright and some were not. Its easy to figure out if they are good or not by the way your vehicle drives after you have something repaired. Its not always easy to know who you can trust when youre dealing with mechanic shops. I witnessed and overheard 2 customers here while I was waiting for my alignment and I was very pleased to hear a guy behind the counter tell the customer there was nothing wrong on one of them and didnt charge him anything. The other one also had nothing wrong but they did some work looking so they charged them a very small amount. It was $35 I believe. Regardless I was pleased with my work there and the cost. It was also good to see hear them be honest with other customers. I will be going back to this place from now on.

After reading a number of GLOWING Google reviews, I decided to bring my car in to get an inspection at Dallas Car Care. The first thing I noticed was how CLEAN and ORGANIZED their garage area was! The floor was spotless; it was free of dust and debris, and their auto products were packed very neatly on the shelves, almost like books on a library shelf. They have been in business for decades and this level of cleanliness spoke volumes to me about the enduring pride they take in the work they do AND their workspace.Upon entering, I was greeted warmly and I told them I needed an inspection done. Honestly, I was a bit worried that I would even get it done because the airbag light was on. They informed me that there was an airbag recall on my vehicle and I could get it fixed for free at a Hyundai service station. Yo, I was ready to do backflips right then 💃🏽 because I had been trying to find that out for weeks to no avail! Apart from the EXCELLENT SERVICE, they were super friendly and funny throughout my time there. The mechanics seemed to have great mutual rapport and even took a few friendly jabs at each other. This made it an even more pleasant experience for me and I was laughing on my way out! 😂 These guys are the real deal! I was in and out in under 15 minutes! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 😎👉🏾

The owners for this shop really care about their business. We came here for our registration inspection, with being new to the state we expected to be taken on a ride (thats what happens in CA). But we were pleasantly surprised to have two owners that took pride in their business and run an honest car shop. We have found are go to car shop in Dallas.

Brought my vehicle in today for a check up. John the mechanic checked the vehicle and gave me a list of parts that needed to be replaced. It was fine until they explained to me that my car had an old timing belt that has never been changed. Funny part is that I changed the timing belt and water pump about a month before elsewhere.This is a common problem with mechanics. Trying to sell jobs that you dont need.Be wary of this place. Im sure this isnt the first time Dave(the owner) has let this happen.

Took my car in for my transmisson on thursday and told them a few people said to check the screen and one older guy said they didnt know what they was talking about. They checked it said the oil was black and changed it. Today, Friday, im stuck onside the road
