THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER: Last Thursday Republic Services was supposed to collect my trash. They did not. I called to report this on Friday and was told they would send a truck. They did not. I k called on Monday and was told they would send a truck, they did not. I called on Tuesday and was told it has been escalated to the highest level, that a supervisor would contact me, and they would send a truck.; l The did not and did not. As I type this I am on hold waiting for a supervisor to come on the line. I doubt that will l make any difference since tomorrow is pickup day again. I think my next call will be to Rumpke.

I paid for recycling for 6 months not one time did they empty my can. I finally canceled. Months later I called them to ask if they were going to pick up can. They told me they would pick up that week. I explained there was a recycling can that was already here when I moved in so there was 2 I needed gone. They came to remove them and emptied one into the other can and only took the empty one when they left. So left me with a can so full the lid wont shut and I have to wait for another week for pick up maybe later because of holiday. When I first moved in we had a toilet that needed picked up and I had to call 3-4 times after it sat on street for over 2 weeks someone picked it up not even sure if it was them. Morning but aggravation dealing with this company. If I could I def would go with someone else.

Have had a can sitting at the end of my driveway for three weeks now, they tell me we are getting to it and now they have left another can. Poor company service.

I just followed one of these filthy trucks down I-75 spewing garbage for 5 miles! Of course you can’t get a hold of anyone. Shame on you! Empty your garbage before you get on the road!

Holy cow! Suddenly, 3 months ago or so Republic stopped picking up my recycling. I was told that they now only pick up in their new bins. Did they tell me that? No. Did they provide me a new one? No. OK fine...after figuring that out over a month ago I requested a recycling bin. I was told it was going to be delivered on August 1st. I have been paying for recycling this entire time. 6 or so phone calls and multiple online requests later I sill dont have a bin yet I am being charged. The last call I made was the last straw...the service representative raised her voice at me when I said the last service representative promised me a call from the regional manager which I never received. I never raised my voice to her. I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism and service of this organization.

UPDATE:- We have had 2 situations where we couldn’t speak to a supervisor. One where the after-call survey hung up on us after asking to speak to a supervisor and another when speaking to a representative who said a supervisor was “unavailable”- We have “escalated our case” multiple times, but nothing has yet to happen- I emailed the person that commented back on my review and have yet to hear back from them- I have requested new dumpsters online and have not heard back through that eitherUPDATE AS OF TODAY (7/27):- Continues to be a “2-week delay” until August 8th. We’ve now had this delay for over a month and have escalated the situation 3x now- The representative has “relayed our information to supervisor” once again and will supposedly get a call- I was finally able to reach a supervisor and she said the same thing as everyone else. She has apparently “reached out to the operations manager and will give me a call back when she hears from them”.- Now we continue the waiting game. I will update with everything until we actually get our issue resolvedIf I could give them 0 stars, I would. My fiancé and I recently moved to the area and have been in contact with their representatives MULTIPLE TIMES for OVER A MONTH. They can’t seem to figure out how to do the simplest jobs or give us any helpful information. We asked them to take the extra receptacles from the previous homeowners and they told us they couldn’t for 2 weeks. Put out the better trash cans the week before and they take those. Ask them to come pick up the broken ones and replace them, they proceed to lie and continue delaying the exchange. They’re not consistent and will tell me one thing and my fiancé another. They said the exchange would happen and then the 3rd party “was unable to” after we called them every day for 3 days in a row. Then they told us they would have the 3rd party company “contact me”, never happened. They then proceeded to tell us they were delayed and wouldn’t exchange the receptacles for another 2 weeks and wouldn’t give me a time estimate, but gave my fiancé a generic estimate between 6:00am-5:00pm. Guess what? THEY NEVER SHOWED. There needs to be another waste service in this location because they’re lazy, incompetent, and monopolizing over being the only service available. Never use this service if you can!

I live on Vermont Ave in Latonia, KY. I wanted to say thank you to the young man collecting recycling today. As I went outside to take cans to the curb, I saw the recycling truck go by and stop up the street. As I was contemplating running after them, I looked up to see this gentleman approach and ask if I had recycling. He not only took it to his truck, he also took my garbage can to the curb. To me, this was above and beyond what was expected. I want to make sure he gets a well deserved pat on the back and let him know he is appreciated.

Skip our pick ups, call to see why they say oh its going to be picked up later, call the next day oh its going to be picked up tuesday, call after it doesnt get picked up tuesday oh you have to talk to a supervisor, but you have to wait 24 hours to get a call from them

If you ever have an issue be prepared to call at least 5 times to get it resolved because the staff here are very incompetent and you will get a different story from every person you talk to. And then theyll send you a bill for services they have yet to provide you. Its taken me over 2 months to try to get set up with recycling services and Im still on hold right now....

Terrible. We were forced to use them in the Batavia area and they provide none of the extra services that Rumpke did and we are saving maybe a few bucks a month. They are complete trash.

If you want to call a trash company multiple times to pick up your trash come here. But dont feel to bad though cause sometimes the whole road will be missed.
