Brakes … the bane of my existence 🤬Had my brakes completely re-done about six weeks ago at a big box national brand store, or so I thought. Yesterday it sounded like my rotors were grinding rocks when I went to stop. Called the other place and they said oops, they forgot to check the front brakes 🤷 yet I paid almost $800 for something.Should have came here to Bulldog Tire the first time. Reliable, costs a lot less and no hassle. I was leery at first because I drive a Mercedes, but when I got here I knew they were more than capable of fixing her up and I was right. Yep, I’ll back when it’s time. Always go local, avoid the big box. That’s my new motto.

Bulldog Tire on Elm Street Covington has been my GoTo place for tires and auto checkups and repairs for many years. They have always been kind and courtesy and willing to assist with my auto needs. I appreciate their services.

Bulldog Tire does more than tires, they do suspensions, oil changes, rotations, balancing and alignments.I had an accident out of town where I attempted to make a legal u-turn on a poorly lit road in low visibility weather at night which resulted in me hitting the median.It blew out my front right tire, bent the rim, bent the sway bar, spring assembly/mount and strut.This shop took care of me and made sure that I got my car fixed right the first time and at a very reasonable price in comparison to the other shops in town.They dont try to upsell you on things you dont need just to make an extra buck like some places.I highly recommend using this shop, they know how to take care of their customers.Knowledgeable Techs, Friendly employees and great Customer service is what you will get from Bulldog Tire.

Service is friendly and I have had awesome service each time I have gone. I had a nail in my tire they offered to repair it and turns out the nail did not pierce the tire. Other places tried to sale me a new tire without even taking the tire off to examine it....I love Bulldog Tires.

I had a very bad tire, and was leaving right after I got a new tire to drive to Louisiana.I got there right as everyone was packing up to leave. They decided to stay and change my tires, knowing that I had a long trip ahead of me.It was comforting to know they cared about their customers enough to stay late to keep my family safe.I definitely recommend them!

I always trust them to do excellent, thorough work. If they call to alert me that something related needs to be repaired/replaced, Im comfortable with their recommendation. My wife and I are Tech grads, as are our two oldest, so the UGA imagery is problematic, but weve worked through it.

Really nice folks! Everyone I encountered were very courteous. I made a mistake in giving Tim the wrong dimensions for my tires; once he inspected my vehicle... turned out it was a size larger. He didnt make a big deal of it and make me feel like a goof...he steered me in the right direction and all was well with the world.

My car broke down on the side of the road and was towed here through AAA. I thought my vehicle may have finally had its last day and was expecting a serious - and costly - repair. It ended up being a simple transmission hose where the labor and part cost less than $100. Its great too know that there is a trusty and upright automotive mechanic here in Covington as many mechanic shops would have tried too get much more out of me. Thank you Bulldog Tire!

Took my tire to this place under the recommendation of a friend. I have aftermarket tires and rims, and asked if they could take care of my problem. I had a slow leak in my tire over several months, and could not find a problem at any shop I went to. The tire completely went flat and needed a replacement, and Bulldog tire said the could order the tire I needed. I asked them to check the rim to make sure it was fine because it was a slow leak. They agreed, they checked the rim and put a new tire on. I noticed several weeks later that my tire was running low on air, and got suspicious. The tire went flat on my way to work, and I had to have my car towed to bulldog tire to see what the problem was. Sure enough the rim had two pin hole sized holes in the rim and was leaking air. Scott the manager said he could not handle the problem with the rim, but would order me another tire. I didnt have a problem with any of this as the hole was really small and tough to find, but what I DID have a problem with is he wanted to charge me FULL price for the tire. I even tried to half the cost of the $160 dollar tire to $80 dollars, but he wouldnt budge... even after I had asked them to check the rim in the first place. I have worked in the service industry my whole life, and if the job isnt done right in the first place you work with the customer to make it right. 1 star review

I had a slow leak in a fairly new tire so I took it to Mavis (because I was right there). Almost no customer in the place but it still took an hour to tell me the tire could not be fixed -- tried to sell me a new tire for $200. I told them to put the leaking tire back on (and paid them $20). So I then took the car to Bulldog Tire who had three times as many guys working. They had lots of customers but worked me right in. Found a nail in the tire (why couldnt Mavis find it?). Patched it. Charged me $15. And had me on my way in 30 minutes. Will take my cars to Bulldog Tire forever.

As a small business owner Ive learned to appreciate a business that cares. Thanks to a few friends recommendations we have been taking our work trucks here for a couple years. Worst experience Ive ever had. I was not greeted by the male clerk or asked if I could be helped. I was met with awkward silence as I just decided to go ahead and explain what I needed done to my car. Which was met with my words being cut off and a well itll be 45 minutes . Ok Ill wait . I noticed patrons of a certain whiteness get treated with respect while other patrons with darker skin tone do not! I really feel bad for the workers of color that work there! I will never spend money at this place again and other people of color should not either! I didnt want to believe the stories but after seeing it for myself! Never again.

I got fair prices, and good same day service. I trust them now. Ive never gotten this good of service unless the mechanic was a close friend. Its close to where Im working but I would come here even if it wasnt because I think it is a superior shop.

These guys are sneaky and will lie about services needed to get more money from u...they broke the valve stem in my wifes car and did not tell me another shop told me when I had new tires put on..I had took the car to bulldog a couple times after they put the tires on my wifes car because air was leaking from one of the tires...nothing was ever said about the valve stem
