These guys are quality. We went in with a suspension issue. They had the parts on hand (unlike other auto shops weve dealt with previously) and were able to fix the vehicle promptly. Future recommendations made sense given the vehicle age and our lifestyle. Will definitely use in the future.

We took our daughters car in to be serviced, it was running rough making a lot of noise. They were able to diagnose the problems and gave us a detailed report of what was needed. The report was very valuable and covered other issues that were needing attention in her 2011 car so we ended up choosing to get them all done as well to keep the car in good shape. I felt the cost and pricing was on point and we got the work done. I love the communication through text keeping me informed along the way. Her car is running like new again and we know she’s driving safe.

What a Great experience at a repair shop. I took a car in that we were looking at buying for my granddaughter. The team fit me into their busy schedule and within a couple of hours I had a VERY detailed picture of the vehicle with requirements, recommendations and areas that were in good shape. Plus a complete cost estimate for each of the noted areas so I could plan. Emily made sure the car was completely sanitized when we picked up the car and carefully went over the entire check list.I will be back as this is a very trust worthy operation.They have gained my confidence.

My original experience with them was back loosely around 2017, maybe 2018. They helped do some tuning up and did a comprehensive look over my car, and the service was outstanding (price wasnt bad either). Now I live much further away in the Yelm area and I drove from where I live out to here just to receive the same service and.. oh boy did they deliver. Not only were they very clear on the price, not only did they communicate throughout the entire process via text and email, not only did they have a FULL WEBSITE on what was going on with my car, the recommendations, and the things that were critical to fix, but there was NO surprise changes to the total when we went up to pay. What we communicated over the phone is what I paid. No additional taxes, fees, service charges... Nothing. They included the window replacement in the cost they gave me, and I didnt pay a dime over what was communicated.On top of that, I received an entire breakdown and summary on what was fixed, how it was fixed, and what other things needed to be fixed and how much that would cost! These people are next level. Theres more I can talk about what they did right, but Im pushing the reviews length. Definitely would recommend. Valley Automotive did a great job with keeping things socially distanced and sanitized. They performed diagnostics free of charge, they were thorough and suggested a few additional services, however some were surely not needed. They kept the process simple and did not try to urge me into anything I didnt want done, which some other places do. Overall it was a good experience and I would go again.

Had a great experience with Valley Automotive when getting a diagnostic and repair. Everything was done with no contact and my car was sanitizied. They got the work done quickly and were flexible around my schedule. The estimate was spot on and they didnt give me a hard time about my decisions regarding my vehicle like Ive experience at other shops. They called me a few days after service to make sure everything was going well. I have no complaints! Id recommend them for sure.

I needed a new ac system for my Hyundai Santa Fe and decided to try bringing in my car to this establishment. What a great decision for they worked on my car and had it ready at end of day. Reception is very professional with both Dania and Emily keeping me in contact with the progress as well as other findings they saw during general inspection of my vehicle. When it was ready for pickup, the interior was ozoned. For my car’s next oil change I will definitely have them do it at Valley Automotive .

They kept me informed the entire process, offered a loaner when my fixes were taking longer than expected, and gave me a full diagnostic report with pricing for potential future needs. The exchange was easy, they have a drop off box for your cars keys and online payment system to remain contact less.

Received email and voicemail confirmation for my online request. Dropped off car at 10:30am scheduled time. FYI, this business is a drop off only, no waiting room, which was not mentioned online. Called them at 12:45pm for status of oil change. They informed me that nothing has been done yet and they had left me a voicemail the previous day trying to reschedule. I informed them the voicemail I received was to confirm the appointment not to reschedule, which I replayed back to them. They had my car for over 2 hours but did not get a call about delay. Will not use this business again.

First time customer and I’m so happy I trusted them with putting a new transmission etc in my 2015 Subaru. Wonderful people doing wonderful work. Emily is a joy to coordinate with. Her repair knowledge and compassion is commendable because she is the face of the business during this time of no lobby lingering. The fuel pump was the problem and they did that among other things that needed done they definately worked with me on the payment for the extra. I waited to write this review until I drove my vehicle a few times so I could make sure everything was in proper working order. It is working wonderful. Engine light was flashing in my sons new car. Called Valley and they advised it not be driven, so gave us the number to get it towed. Such an easy process, car was picked up and we didnt have to go to the shop until all work was diagnosed and completed to pick up the car. Even though we hadnt scheduled a service and they had to order parts, we had his car back in 2 days. We appreciate Valleys commitment to great service and being upfront on what needs doing vs. what will need doing at some point. A mechanic could tell me I need a new engine and I would not know any different.With that said Valley Automotive Repair and Electric has treated me like I was a family member since I stumbled upon their business several years ago. Great service and attention to detail. Performed requested work and did complimentary inspection and repaired found issues, was not pushy on those repairs at all. Fair prices and great communication. Their office is closed for COVID-19 but they have dropoff options or they will pickup/dropoff your car for you if you are close (according to their pamphlet )

Their report they give you via email is outstanding, easy to read, and provides visuals so you know they are being truthful. Had my car back sooner than I expected and the for a fair price. Brought my in my 2006 F150 for noise coming from the rear end. I tried to self diagnose and fix with changing out the fluid in the rear differential but that did not get rid of the noise. After checking other components that could have been causing the issue I gave up. I had read all of the positive reviews from others about Valley Automotive and dropped it off. They first did their courtesy inspection along with a detailed report which I was not expecting but appreciated since I recently purchased this vehicle used. They found this issue and gave me the bad news, best case replace pinion bearing worse case replace the entire axle assembly or rebuild differential. After further investigation the found that it was much more damaged than I thought. Bryan called to provide the bad news and went through the photos of the damaged components that were added to the report. I had them replace the entire unit with a Jasper remanufactured differential along with new axles. With only 92k on the truck I felt it was totally worth it. When I picked up the truck and payed the bill it was less that I what I had written down from the estimates given over the phone. Bryan always returned my calls and answered any questions I had. The final bill also had a second page that listed all of the future services my truck will need along with their cost which will help me budget and choose what to have done in the future. I would highly recommend.

Had a vexing problem that others couldnt seem to diagnose... an electrical problem which drained the battery when the vehicle sat for a length of time. Went through two batteries over the course of three years, and a lot of inconvenience. Valley Auto found the problem quickly, ordered the part, and fixed the situation. I will use Valley Auto again and I will recommend them to anyone.

Went in for a check engine light. After several tests they found and fixed the problem. The staff is friendly and professional. Emily is great at helping with any financial problems and will work with you. Great company.

Personnel is ok, but not experience mechanic, they did a diagnose on my car from making a noise, and they did wrong diagnosis on my car, they told me serpentine belt needs to be replace also with Idlers and tensioner as well, and they were giving me a dealer price to get it fix it, then I took it to another shop and I got reasonably price compared to what valley automotive was giving me. I expend all that money, and it wasn’t the problem of the noise my car was making as they told me it was the serpentine belt. Also they told me that will need to dissemble my rear breaks because they hear two different noises, and it was going to be an extra charges by doing that as well. They lie to me and make me expend big money on fixing the parts that my car didn’t need it to get it fixed, they have their own videos to show customer that their cars need services that don’t need. Also they diagnose the transmission need to be flushed, when Didnt need it, plus breaks fluids flushed as well, and the fluids are perfectly fine. Please do two diagnosis on your car to compare, don’t give your money away.

Valley is very friendly and upfront about any issues with the vehicle. They do quality work and offer loaner vehicles or courtesy rides if needed, which has really come in handy for us. They are not necessarily the cheapest mechanics you can find, but are definitely good work for the cost. When pricing for comparison, they were half the price of the dealership and they guarantee their work.

Valley automotive saved my Christmas for my son and I to be able to give the gift of time to each other and go up in the snow 4-wheeling with the SUV that was in their shop for service. On Christmas Eve when my radiator failed during a transmission service they went out of their way to not only find another radiator and install it but staid after hours to complete the job. I had to find a new mechanic. I read many of their reviews and was impressed. I figured lets give it a try. I was initially quoted a certain amount for a few items that needed to be replaced. I received a thorough report of what needed to be done. When they took the certain part apart they found out that item did not need to be replaced but it did need a good solid fix. It appears that the other mechanic did a cheap fix on that that certain part. They explained why the part did not need replacement. They asked me if I was hearing a noise when I would drive. I replied yes. They said by fixing that part I should not hear the noise any more. I drove my car and yes they were RIGHT I do not hear the noise anymore. Valley Automotive by being HONEST they SAVED me a lot of money. With the COVID-19 they were quick to fix my car and followed safety protocols to keep themselves and their customers safe. Very pleased I found this great auto repair shop in Covington! I was so impressed by the service and excellent communication overall. They were honest and transparent in the quote and inspection process. They finished the work in great time to ensure me and my family were ready for our Christmas Day road trip. Valley automotive repair has definitely won my loyal business for life.

I have used Valley Automotive since 2012 and they have always done excellent work, been very clear in communication and are easy to contact and schedule with. All their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

I’m giving two stars because I found the people at Valley to be friendly, and courteous. The reason I can’t give more is because they’re price quotes are astonishing.I was quoted $1300 to replace my spark plugs, wires, and coils. $800 of that was parts, $500 labor. Sure you have to remove the intake manifold in this vehicle, but that took an hour. I got premium parts myself and did the job for less than $150. I believe in paying for people’s skills, and I don’t mind paying a good price for labor but this was unreasonable.There was also a radiator for $600 total, and some other things. The replacement radiator is $120.I imagine the argument is OEM parts, but my research showed that prices were inflated double to triple. Their original estimate was much higher for things like a license plate bulb, headlight restore, and other minor things I didn’t bring it in for. I wouldn’t return.* The response below has nothing to do with the situation. I did it myself, because the prices were unreasonable, and who can afford $1300 to have spark plugs, wires and coils replaced? Hugely inflated parts prices, and labor rates two to three times other shops in the area. Charging nearly four hours labor for something that took an amateur less than two isnt reasonable. I was warned that prices at this shop were high, and I shouldve listened. Just own that youre expensive, because arguing that doing it myself is cheaper isnt relevant. Sure it is. But reasonable prices wouldve earned my business.

This was by far the best experience Ive ever had with a mechanic/auto shop!First, I called early January because my car tabs were due and I knew I needed to pass emissions this year. My check engine light was on (auto fail for emissions) and based on the code I knew it was at least $1000 fix. When I called in and explained what was wrong and that I needed to fix it to pass emissions they informed me that emissions test were no longer required as of January 1st....they didnt have to tell me that. They could have just taken my money and I wouldnt have known. That was my first indication that this was a good company.Fast forward to early March, my car died on a Friday afternoon and after looking at it I saw that my battery cables were corroded and needed changed. They let me drop my car off that day, drove me home so I didnt have to pay for an Uber, fixed it for cheaper than any mechanic Ive ever used, gave me a detailed list of everything they saw while fixing it (while at the same time not pushing any extra services!) And as a cherry on top of a great experience they gave me a free box of girl scout cookies!I never write reviews but I would be doing the world a disservice if I didnt say that this is by far the BEST people to trust your car with!!

My experience at valley automotive was really good, i put my chevy in for some service (oil change, brake pads and rotors) and Im really impressed. I recieved text message updates, my truck was done really fast, next day) and I was lent a loaner. Their customer service was outstanding from the moment I arrived, Angies efficiency and friendliness really made it a pleasant experience, she made the drop off and pick up of loaner very quick and easy while maintaining a safe and clean environment especially during these times of COVID. Emilys knowledge and communication is amazing, she really knows her stuff and was able to answer all my questions and put them in terms I was able to understand. As for the mechanics their work speaks for themselves, their fast and my truck is running beautifully. Would definitely recommend if looking for a mechanic.

I dont even know how this place get more than 1 star or even in business! I made an appointment scheduled at 10, only to come in and told well schedule you in today sometime. I ask, What time is sometime? We dont know. Nice business answer. Then I showed them 1 paper my insurance needed. And ask, how long will this take roughly, again answer is dont know. Ok. How much you estimating, answer, dont know. Do you know anything? Well I gave them a chance still, sat there for 2 hours and I hear them quoting customers, I swear to you, so many other shops quote are much cheaper, more reliable, and can answer. I only came here because of my insurance recommendation... epic failure of a place. Thank for wasting my time.

My 1st experience with Valley Automotive was very pleasant. I was given a quote and kept informed on the timeline of the repairs and any problems or changes they needed to make. Very friendly and competent. I will recommend them in the future.I have had another repair done to my truck on July 3rd 2020 and cannot say enough about how they went above and beyond to get my truck done so I could have it for the 4th of July weekend. They stayed late to finish the repairs on my truck by an hour and a half and still only charged me the normal shop rate. Emily kept me posted on the progress and the technicians put in the extra effort. I highly recommend this Auto repair shop. Great people.
