Moved from South Florida and have been looking for a shop that can handle some custom work for my BMWs specially exhaust work. They are knowledgeable and professional when doing the work I asked and price very well. I will continue to use them for all my automotive custom needs.

This place does great work because of a guy named Tony that works there. If it wasnt for this place it wouldnt be worth going to.

I took my truck to get a noise diagnosed because it was making a rattling sound. They charged me $47.50 for a diagnostic fee. They told me the fly wheel is whats making the noise. So, I told them to fix it along with the oil leak which I was told I needed to replace the oil pan gasket and the rear main seal totaling $1800. I was called a few days later to pick up my truck that I was told was fixed. Unfortunately, the noise was still there on the way home from the shop. The next morning I go out to my driveway and there is a puddle of oil. I admit there was an oil leak before hand but nothing to this extent. The man agreed to look it over again. I toke it back then they tell me its the catalytic converter and for $125.00 they would remove them. I asked, is this going to fix the problem? at which point Im told yes. Im told the catalytic converter and oil pan gasket were both worked on. When picking it up the second time he did inform me the work done did not fix my issue and I would need to take it to a transmission shop. He was nice enough not to charge the $125. My issue is that I took a truck in for a noise and minor oil leak. I paid for the diagnosis so I didnt have to throw money around. It would not be so upsetting if this was not my teenage sons daily driver. It has been sitting because I do not feel safe with him in it. The employees here are nice but the quality of work is not up to par.

The manager and assistant manager there are polite helpful. And the mechanics there are the same. They are tasteful and got the job done at a very time full pace. Polite and genuinely caring about meeting ur needs. I recommend ALL STAR TO EVERYONE. THANK U KENNETH LASTINGER FOR UR SERVICE 💓

I wish I could give less than one star. I took my 2013 Audi Q5 here just for an oil change and that was one of the worst decisions that I could have made. They told me that I needed an oil pan gasket, a serpentine belt, a tuneup,and tire. After taking my car here for an oil change my car began leaking oil excessively for about two months until I could afford to take it to a real mechanic to get it looked at. I’ve had several oil changed since then this time taking it to fire stone and each time the oil has just leaked out causing me $80 poor oil change every time. Upon taking it to Frank’s auto shop in Covington I learned that it was not the oil pan gasket at all but a plug itself in the oil pan that was fine before all star automotive got their hands on it. He has fix this for me for way less money and aggravation then All start automotive ever could. He also found something in my Exhaust that he is fixing now. I will never take my car back to All-Star automotive. Ever.

Removed the Cadillac converter without my concent did not know until it was returnd and i viewed my cam

The owner was very reasonable and helped me out in a bind. Being that I only had one day off before I went out of town. He got me in and out quickly. He was awesome to work with. I will be back for any future problems

I was visiting from out of state when my oul change light came on, so I went looking for a change. I was worried that they might take advantage of me not being local. I was very pleasantly surprised - they were fairly quick and thorough, and the price was reasonable. I will surely go back if that situation arises again!

Had a problem with my car. I thought the transmission was going out. Took it in on a Saturday, since my regular mechanic was closed. They diagnosed the problem, an ignition coil, and sorted it out in an hour and a half to let me get home and rest for my job that night. Very affordable price too. I was very impressed.

I was on the way to Atlanta when my diesel truck said 150 miles until speed limited to 65 mph. I called every dealership in the area and nobody could get me in. I called Allstar and they told me to come in and they will see what they could do. They were my only hope. I pulled up, was greeted with a smile, and quickly diagnosed. They didn’t have the part there to fix it but they were able to clear my code and at least get me on the road again to where I could make it to the dealership in my hometown to get the part replaced. They didn’t even charge me because they didn’t have the part. These people went out of their way to get me back on the road. I cannot thank them enough. Recommend them 100%!!!

Nice place and nice service. I’m not too sure of the pricing for other car parts but they do have used tires for 40$ and it comes with installation. I do recommend buying your own parts and bring it to them so it can at least take a hundred or two off the price of the part.

Helped my sister took her car to this place for the first time. She had the front 2 tires replaced and her negative terminal on her battery need to be replaced since the bolt was seized to the nut on the terminal bracket. The mechanic got the bolt off and put a generic aluminum stock terminal bracket on the car. They charged her labor but took the OEM part. Sister is going back tomorrow to get it fix right with the back 2 tires replaced. The bracket does clearly fit. Not sure why the mechanic pocket it. Felt kind of shady but my sister yelled at me b/c I recommend her to go there.1 star for quick job done.1 star for pleasant experience talking to the people1 star for at least getting the car going and going out of the way to saw the seized bolt/nut.(the aluminum terminal would had held up but not as good as the OEM copper/tin plated clamp.)-1 star for swapping the EOM part and not telling the driver ;/-1 star for going back and checking her car for the service done. Also had to go back and check my car if the service was done correctlyWill follow-up back tomorrow. 7/10/20

This shop is grimy,i accidentally left an expensive gadget inside of my vehicle and one of the shop members stole it. They are liars and thieves highly dont recommend being serviced by this shop

My boyfriend took his truck in. They said they he had three catalytic converters they had to take off and they ended up taking off the resonator instead of the catalytic converter. They charged us $300 and didn’t even take off a catalytic converter. Immediately after they let the truck down and backed it out I went to step up on the running board and it almost broke off. I’m not a big person. I step on it every time I get in the truck. We took it back today to tell them about it and one guy told us someone must have hit us in the parking lot. And another guy said that it had been slowly coming off for a while and finally just broke. I asked how much it would be to fix it and they said it would take an hour and I asked the price and they said it would be $95 plus welding wires. Which means we would have to pay over $100 for something THEY broke. And on top of that instead of using the right sized pipe they put a 2.5 inch pipe on a 4in pipe and just filled in the gap with welding wire.

The guys there are very proffesional and courteous, I’ve taken my car there twice and they always get me in and out in a jiffy and they are very affordable.

Do not ever let this shop touch your exhaust system. After I got my truck back there was a large exhaust leak. After trying to track it down I went under the truck and realized one of my flange bolts had been stripped and not tightened all the way. Upon further review I noticed they used to 2.25 inch pipe inside 2.5 inch pipe and just filled the Gap with welding wire and in some places didnt even fill the gap causing the exhaust leak which caused my truck to run lean causing other issues. I want to make sure everyone sees in the pictures how proud they should be of their work.

I came in once before to get my oil changed. They were quick and polite. But today, I stopped by to check my tire pressure only to discover I had a flat. I had no money and no way to pay to repair it. Avery and Ken repaired my tire without hesitation and told me not to worried about it. On the way to take my daughter to work one of my windshield wipers tore up. It was raining and miserable. After I dropped her off and had to stop to get gas. I usually go here to get oil changes because the prices are reasonable. However, the last couple of times they have not filled my engine fluids (wiper fluids etc.) I went again and specifically mentioned this and they said they would be sure to get it done and apologized. When I got home I checked and the wiper fluid isnt empty but it sure isnt full like the man said!! I mean, it makes u wonder... did they give me a full oil change or just a splash!!! I have included a pic..shining flash light so you can see the blue fluid...also note that it wasnt empty when I went in, so they literally maybe added a just a little.

On time, suggestions for repairs, great relationship with customers

I went there thinking that they would take care of my vehicle and my oil light was coming on when oil was full. They called and told me they found the valve covers were leaking and it calls for 4 hrs. After I got my car back it was fine for a couple of days and now the oil light is back on. I started looking under hood and seen they had left a 10 mm bolt on side of valve cover loose. I tightened it, thinking that was all. To my surprise I started looking again today at the engine and low and behold my power wire was laying on a pulley and my upper radiator hose was laying on the valve cover. Now I have to fix something that wasnt broke when it went into shop. If your not gonna do the job correctly then dont do it at all.

Great people. I own a plumbing business and I had a customer I was headed to about 2 miles from the shop. I Googled automotive shops close to me when my tire blew out. I asked them how busy they were and if they could get us in and out immediately because I too had a customer waiting with a plumbing emergency who had to leave their house in an hour. Most companies would tell you theyre not busy and they could fit you right in just to get your business. But they were very nice had paperwork ready pulled me right in and I was out the door in 20 minutes. The price was awesome. But the most important thing now is that I got a relationship with some really good people at a really good automotive shop. Thank you guys and gals

Friday, I was told there would be an $85 diagnostic fee but that it would come off of the price of the repair. I was quoted a price of $283.91 I agreed to the work without a breakdown of charges. Received the receipt which still had the $85 diagnostic fee on it, when I asked why they informed me it took him a while to diagnose the problem so the fee would stay. I moved along thinking the issue was fixed, it wasnt. The next day my husband took the vehicle back to complain that there was still no heat. The worker informed us it takes a while for the new thermostat to heat up to cause heat to flow, to drive the car awhile. Monday I took the car back since the problem had not resolved after driving roughly seventy miles. I was told it would be another $700 that it must be the line but theyd have to remove the dash board which is about seven hours of work. Guessing repair work with diagnostic fee. Dont waste your money!!! Diagnostic fee with wrong diagnose, a week before Christmas. Maybe they needed a bonus.

Every time I bring my vehicle to All Star they have always done a great job. They always done great work and had a quick turnaround time unlike the car dealership. I have sent many of friends and family here and they always took care of them !!

I was referr to the business by an employee, whom was very familiar with the mechanic Tony and recommend him. He explained to me how much work he had done there, I would be please and they would fix my problem.I had been experiencing a very annoying squeaking coming from my car along with a little rattling in my passenger side wheel. BUT I wanted the squeak GONE, that was the purpose.I decided to give them a shot and take my car it was driven and put on the lift, Tony later called me and said I needed to replace the muffler and pipes which was causing the squeaking. I asked him repeatedly if fixing the muffler and pipes stop the squeaking, he said YES. I ask how much it would be he said $420-$450. I said sounds good and set up a day to drop my car off.I returned for my car and test drive with Tony and I could still hear the squeaking. He then had nothing to say but bring it back and he need more time to check somethings. I brought my car to the shop about 3 Times. I do not live close. And had to find rides to work for the days they kept my car.Honestly I don’t ever think they did any further research and KEN advised me I should just take my car somewhere else. Wow! After I still paid for something that I didn’t need.I would NEVER!Worse experience ever.

I will be honest. I took my vehicle for a repair due to a problem with my fuel getting to my motor properly. I had these guys check it out and they were going to charge me at least $500 2 get the problem fixed but they were still not sure what the problem was. I took matters into my own hands and looked up YouTube and I figured out the problem on my own. It was a minor problem that only cost me $24 for the part and about 30 minutes of my own labor. But these guys are supposed to be professional mechanics and have knowledge of these vehicles. I am quite disappointed and they have lost my business

CROOKS! Do NOT let these amateurs touch your car. I stopped here because they were advertising a $19.95 oil change. I asked SPECIFICALLY if they changed the oil filter on these quick-changes. Manager Larry Hester said “Oh yeah!” I repeated my question. He again answered “Yeah!” I had already crawled under my car and put a mark on the old oil filter so that I could check to see if it had been replaced when they were done. I learned to do this after I had been ripped off from another place. Sure enough, when Manager Larry said they were finished, I asked him if he changed the filter, and he said “oh yeah!” I got my keys, walked out to the car, crawled under the car behind my front right tire and checked the oil filter and sure enough they did NOT change the old oil filter. I saw the same mark on the filter that I had made before I left it with them. Now, I’m wondering if they even changed the oil. CROOKS! Do NOT let these amateurs touch your car. I had already heard stories about these guys before I went, but thought since I asked Mgr. Larry twice about my oil filter that he would have the character to actually do an honest job. …guess I was wrong. (I have already posted comments about this shop and contacted the Covington Chamber of Commerce) - (You can see other comments here about the theft these guys engage in ... they give the good shops a BAD name!) (I can only assume that the positive comments here were made by friends of Larry and the guys!)

Ive been taking my families cars there for diagnostics and service repairs for over a year now. They are always very friendly, thorough and havent failed me or misdiagnosed anything.They always provide an estimate for the repairs, once theyve diagnosed the problem and have NEVER attempted to charge me anything more than what I was quoted. They also know that I can do some minor repairs myself, once theyve identified the problem and have never tried pressuring me into letting them perform the repairs.

I took my 2004 Ford Explorer to these CROOKS, and asked the guy working the front how much it would be to replace a thermostat. Keep in mind that I had already called around and got averages from all the local shops in the area, so I had an idea of how much the time and labor was. Labor time around 30min. The guy working the front desk told me that it would take three hours to replace the thermostat and that it would be 280.00 dollars, I laughed and said are you serious for a thermostat it takes 20 to 30 mins to put it on I know because I have done research. He then tried to explain that he would have to take the thermostat apart thats why it would cost so much. Uhhh why are you taking it apart? its a simple take the old one off and put new one on.. He then gave me another B.S excuse so I just walked away while he was talking to me because I knew he was lying. Had it replaced at another shop for $55.00 dollars and it took them around 35 minutes to fix it. Stay away from these crooks they are money hungry and dishonest. I will make sure everyone I know never goes here.
