Warning, Warning, Warning Alert, Alert, Alert, I will say one thing positive. The landlord and her boyfriend are nice, friendly, and kind people, But they have no business managing this property. Please hire a property manage !!!!!! Or better yet sale the property to someone that knows how to take care of the condos. I feel like I just been conned by a con artist and like we just got robbed. We didnt break the contact on purpose, we had to move because of my husbands job. And to be quite frank and honest we wanted to break the lease with Jodi (Land Lord), the minute we stepped into that condo, because that condo was in terrible condition the previous renters had that place smelling like their nasty dogs, the carpets and the rooms that those people allowed to let their dogs stay in just smelled very disgusting. They also told Jodi that they cleaned the condo, but that was just false information and she didnt even bother walking the condo with those people, so that she could inspect the damages or to check if they had cleaned the condo. Thanks to Marty the relator who showed my husband the condo reminded us to fill out the inventory/ condition form. We had a list of things, there was not enough room on that paper, we had to write on the back. The list goes on with issues that we found while inspecting it. The least Jodi could have done was lower the rent, but she didnt. And then it had been months she finally decided she wanted to come fix and paint and do repairs, by then I didnt want strangers coming into the condo and moving my stuff or touching my things. I still have the copy of the inventory form. I wish could show you all. Even Bill from the carpet cleaning company who had to come out and clean the carpets, said that the carpets were filthy, because the previous tenants didnt do a good job. Even after he shampooed it, the carpet still smelled like those dogs, he said it might be because the smell is still stuck on the walls and if the condo had been giving a proper clean or wipe down, cleaning the walls and then giving a nice fresh coat of paint it may have reduced the dog smell. But Nope, Not even a fresh coat of paint was done. But it did get some touch ups through out the condo, here and there. BUT while we were moving in, because we said something about it and it was even hard for the painter to do his job because we just kept getting in each others way. So that didnt go very well at all. So let me tell you all what we also had to deal with. We had a dishwasher that was gross and had mold in the inside of it and didnt work. We had a refrigerator that had Duck Tape that was holding the rails together. Three rails with Duck Tape and all broken crisper drawers that didnt function at all. And the freezer would some how drip water in the inside of the fridge. There was cracked titles through the condo along with missing grout between the tiles. In the upstairs master bathroom had mold issues along the side wall of the tube. You can tell that the dry wall was staring to rot out due to it getting saturated with water. The previous renter didnt bother filling in the holes in the walls or bother taken some of the nails out of the walls. One of the rooms closet door sliders was not even in the rail we couldnt even use the door, so we had to get out of the way. And the door to that room also didnt close, because the bolt couldnt close into the plates, because the plate was uneven and it looked like the wood had been tampered before and striped to many times. All the balcony rails looked pretty unsafe, rusted, loose, and not safe at all. The upstairs master room had a side that was starting to creak and slant. Not sure is slant is correct word to describe, but it was either sinking, sagging or sloping. But the worst part was that only the third floor or top floor which happened to be the master bed room, was the only room that would cool.
