WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I STILL CAN NOT USE MY COMPUTER. They replaced my hard drive and now the brightness is PERMANENTLY fixed on ZERO or at BEST a 6%, when compared to another computer (Both HP).The, so called manager, Ross Curiel who was helping me wouldnt tell me his name (found it on FB), he would NOT even acknowledge that anything was wrong with the brightness and claimed REPEATADLY that it was due to Windows 10.DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER HERE IF YOU WANT TO USE IT AGAIN. #DRNERDSWHERECOMPUTERSGOTODIE

I went in to get my note 5 fixed because I been a customer for years getting my laptop fixed,so I trusted them. Ross the owner told me that its going be another week to get the part. Im a patient and understanding person. I waited 2 weeks and when i got my phone they did a great job until I came home. My phone had a case,so when i removed it the back was completely cracked. I was shocked and disappointed. I would think they would notify me or know what their doing. I couldnt go back because i had to go out of town and work. I got in to town early in the morning today and the first thing I did was told myself is that their reasonable and they would do the right thing and fix what they did. Boy was i wrong. I went in and told them about the phone. One of the guy who worked their went in the back to ask Ross and came back and told me first that that it was already like that. I told him that its impossible because before I came in i removed my case and showed one of the workers the whole phone. The poor worker, or messenger i would say had to go back and deliver the news. Ross finally got up and told me that when he tried removing the back of the phone that he made only hairlines and the phone it self made the whole back of the phone crack. Even if that was true Ross could of done the right thing and say I messed up let me fix for what i did. Ross said he would have to order the part and i would have to pay for what he done. I became the bigger person and told him thank you for your business, but i could assure you that sadly this would be my last visit. This is my experience with Dr. Nerds and the owner Ross. I hope you dont go through the same experience i went through. Afterall, we the people help keep these buisness running.

They charged me $100 just to diagnose a burned-out motherboard. They wanted $500 to fix it. If they could find another motherboard. I found a better computer for $250 off eBay.

The guy who came out to set up my computer had the gull to tell me my brand new computer was cheap. He wouldnt even set up my little girls iPad for her. He spent a whole 30 minutes being unprofessional and rude.

Would not recommend anyone to take game console there.i took my grandsons ps4 for HDMI repair. They sent it out to a third party now they said it was not fixable. you ever need game consoles fixed find yourself somewhere else.,🤖🤖🤖Update on my PS4 which you guys said needed a motherboard.turns out the the HDMI port wasnt soldered right and you all took out my flex cable that operates the the ejecting of CDs.and there was screws missing. And yes it was fixed no motherboard needed.i would highly recommend game consoles to be taken to Tronix in the bluff..fast service they had my PS4 within two days.plus way better prices by half of what you guys wanted.you all should stick with phones and computers.leave game colsoles alone..😀have a blessed day.remeber folks Tronix is the place for game consoles.

Dropped my phone off around 4PM and it was done about an hour later! Ross did a wonderful job repairing my phones screen! 10/10 would recommend!

I called and spoke to Ross and explained that I needed a data transfer from my old laptop to my new one and that I was leaving the country soon and needed it expedited. he had me come in and took care of me overnight. He cleaned up my old lap top and removed some viruses my malware program missed. I highly recommend Dr. Nerd for any computer/technical issues you need resolved.

Took my moms galaxy a20 here to get the screen fixed and after they replaced the screen the phone would not work right. Couldnt make calls and couldnt play games or anything it we ould just show a black screen. When we took it back they told us it wasnt their fault and they would not do anything to fix it as it must have happend when my mom cracked the old screen. They have horrible customer service and I will never go there again!

Excellent service, they replaced a battery in my iPhone. They gave me a time estimate and it was ready when they said it would be! Price was a little higher than a competitor, but it was worth it since the competitor had to order the battery. They even made sure the battery was the problem to avoid unnecessary charges...will definitely be a returning customer...#support small local business

Used to take 4 iPhones to iFixiPhonez on Everhart multiple times to get fixed. I called today & they were charging a whole lot more than Dr. Nerds. & I am amazed with the service, definitely recommend to any and everyone looking to get there phones, laptops, iPads, tablets, etc fixed. Already made my family aware of them as well! & they did a way better job installing my screens then iFixiPhonez. Was told wait time would be about a hour & a half & was complete within 45 minutes or less! Best phone repair place I’ve came across by far! & I’ve broken over 25 iPhones!

Everything is either extremely old and unusable or used and extremely overpriced. Well they do have unused items they purchase from the Dollar Tree for literally a $1, like their phone glass and iPad covers and stylus that they sell for 10+. But any smart person would be able to tell right away. Probably not a good idea to be called Dr. Nerds, and not expect to be called out on their bull by actual nerds.

Waste of time! Dropped off my iPad for an update issue after 4 days I went in and they tried selling me on the motherboard being fried and the iPad being unrecoverable. Took it down the road was fixed in a couple of hours. I’m almost certain they didn’t even look at the iPad it just sat there. Place was a joke don’t waste your time.

I left a computer here for a week and still couldnt fix the problem. When I took it back from them I have just had more problems from them deleting files that shouldnt have been deleted and adding programs to my computer that had nothing to do with solving the original problem. If you have any small amount of computer knowledge I would stay away from this place and just look up how to fix it my self.

I recently came to get my galaxy note 9 fixed and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I got my phone fixed at a good price. And the staff was very honest about what was wrong with my phone. I went to smart phone repairs off everhart and they tried to take advantage of me and told me something else was wrong with my phone and tried to charge me almost triple what i paid here at dr nerds. I look forward to doing business with dr nerds in the future

First review Ive ever written. Dr. Nerd is the absolute worst service Ive ever had with ANY company in my life. I asked them to clean up my Mac and paid for a rush job. They guaranteed that it would be ready by the next morning. Four days later, I received my computer. All of my passwords had been erased, as well as some of my programs. I took it back and told them the issue. They then restored it to its original condition, told me that nothing could be done and even said that the computer was in the same exact state it was in when I dropped it off. They erased a lot of files (invaluable pictures of my family and vacations). When I called to try to locate these files, I was given horrible attitude and told me that I erased them myself. They used to have nothing but horrible reviews like this one on Google, but it looks like they just got a bunch of their friends to replace them with good reviews. Worst business EVER.

Dr. Nerd should be renamed Dr. Ripoff. Charged me $100 for diagnostic charge. After I initiated the follow up visit, the result was a new battery was needed. Charged me for the battery just to order it. No communication. I go in to inquire about the battery after 3 weeks. Employee forgot to order it. Yes, I have the name of the employee. Then they claimed they called me(I have no record of it) but again I initiated the follow up and the wrong battery was ordered. This chaos went from Nov. 26 until the beginning of Feb.I went to another tech store, he diagnosed it within a minute (no charge), ordered a new battery (no charge prior to ordering and was $20 less than the fantasy battery), and all of this service took a total of 4 days.

Had great experience. Everything was explained with a follow up call. Great prices. So glad I chose this place. I have no trouble with my computer. Will be going back next time I need help.

Now Im giving 5 stars for the build and turnaround time. I did bring pc home and it crashed a couple times took back in and shelby worked on it, although they sis try and charge me for corrupted windows files, anyways did crash again after they said it was fixed, Ill be looking into it but I updated the bios and so far pc seems to be holding up, it this was the problem youd figure the bios should have been updated when pc was built, and especially before stress test to CPU, GPU, and system.

Absolute worst computer repair that Corpus Christi has to offer. Bought a PC from them, took it in to have it looked at after it began to randomly shut off. Turned out the power supply theyd installed was bad, so they replaced it... for 80 dollars. Even though it was THEIR error, I was still forced to pay out of pocket for the service.It gets worse. Not that Ive got my PC back, it constantly blue screens and shuts off randomly for reasons that they say cannot be determined. I took it in, they said theyd look at it for another 80 dollars.Incompetent kids working there, the owner is a thieving slob. Dont bring your PC here.

I waited 2 1/2 weeks only to get my laptop back with the same issue. During the time i waited for the repair i repeatedly gave them the same information over and over again. They did not communicate with me as promised. I had to go in and put passwords in myself despite sharing that information. Also got a slick comment about how old my MacBook was. I spent a lot of money on it and it has worked perfectly from 2013 until now. At the end of the day it was not fixed, it took forever to get it back and they had an attitude when i was not happy about it.

Went to Dr.Nerd computers to fix a problem with my computer, they said they couldnt find a problem with it so I paid 95 dollars for them to just look at it. Im kinda of mad that is still wont work right but they did try I guess is some way.
