Broke crown. Aspen was able to get me in for evaluation the same afternoon. Very efficient appointment. Friendly staff. Dr Qaisi did nice job of explaining what happened to my tooth and what needs to happen. Office manager did great job of explaining cost, and insurance coverage.

I had a good experience with the X-Ray department! When I got to my appointed chair I didn’t have to wait to long for the doctor and he was informative and knowledgeable of what was happening in my mouth! I was to have my teeth cleaned but no one came to do that!! I waited and waited!!! My appointment was for 2:30 and it was 4:30 and no one did my cleaning yet!! I got up and asked someone as to when someone was coming. He said he would check. Yet no one came. I asked a second time. He would check. YET, no one!! I got out of my chair and went to check out. Apologies were made and no charge for this appointment!! I have NEVER had this kind of experience from a well known business!! NOT very professional!!!! I also bought and paid for an electric toothbrush but none was in stock at the time and I still have not received it!! Will I come back??? Not sure at the moment!! I rate you low!! 👎

I absolutely hate going to the dentist so I had not been in several years. I looked up Aspen Dental and because of their wide range of service I decided to go with them. I went online and was able to get an appointment right away. Once in the office, the staff was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend them!

They just want you to spend money. Went somewhere else for a second opinion after receiving a treatment plan of $7000. None of the work they insisted I needed done actually needs done. They just want your money.

It was really busy when I was in there and that created a lil bit of waiting, otherwise they were all very friends and very knowledgeable. They did a great job at explaining everything to me and making sure I understood where I was at with my teeth and different options I had.

This was a first time appointment. Staff was very friendly and thorough. I really liked the girl that took my X-rays (I think her name was Tracy) and the hygienist Elena.I waited a very long time to see the dentist. They did have a tv on to help pass the time and someone came in twice to apologize for the wait, which I appreciated as I was worried they forgot about me.When the dentist came in it was obvious he was rushed as he did not introduce himself and did not apologize for the long wait, He took a quick look at my X-rays and teeth and was out of there. I looked on your website to see what his name is but I don’t see his picture so still don’t know his name.This appt was at 1pm and I didn’t get out of there till after 2:30, the majority of that time spent waiting. I’m hoping this is not the norm going forward.I’m going back on Monday for a cleaning.

I was very dissapointed with the staff. After 5 calls, 3 visits over more than 2 months they would not release my dental records over to a different institution on my request. They also cancel your appointment without telling you if you are 10 minutes late.

After being rescheduled a few times i went to a dentist at aspen dental coralville location. a girl named cody helped me with xrays and when i was sitting in the chair waiting for the doctor dr. farshaw did a great job explaining everything. everything was good but two stars because the financial lady (jessie?) was loud and rude and asked for personal information in front of everyone and other patients, including stuff like my social security number and income. this is super uncomfrtable. i came with pain and was told they cant help unless i get the expensive cleaning first and a toothbrush i dont think i need. the people seemed good but i should have lookee at other reviews first. the finance girl does make me feel safe

I went in as a new patient for a check up and was able to get a cleaning done as well. Office staffs were welcome and helpful. Shout out to Alaina for a very thorough cleaning. She made sure my teeth were sparkly clean and that I was comfortable. Rebecca was very personable and helpful. Dr. Farshad answered and explained my x-ray pictures thoroughly. I felt like a wasnt just another customer and that everyone care.

They scheduled my appointment wrong, didnt apologize once she figured out it was their fault alone, and now I have to wait another week to start my stuff.Edit: Went back, had a good time, they were late getting me but thats life, I had no issues with the service begining to end up until someone found out I made this one star review, they apologized a bunch which was whatever, I liked it the first time (of which there were many) and was told, but I think she wanted it to be acknowledged and taken back but where it fell flat was saying the 20% off of my routine was because of my bad time and not just because thats how new patients work. But thats the cooperation/franchise way I guess.Beyond that specific issue though:The staff was great (even the lying by omission lady was very kind and helpful once she was done) andI got the best and most helpful exam Ive ever gotten. And it was free for being a new patient. (Which is cool if I want to go somewhere else I have the records now)The pricetag is my own fault, due to bad oral health so I have nothing to be upset on that note.Other than they were helpful when showing me what I had to pay and why and for what. I appreciated that a bunch.I got the main thing taken care of as soon as possible I believe so Ive been feeling pretty good about it.To be clear, my bad time was because of what I knew was a computer error.I was in pain and was told I had to wait longer on behalf of their mistake, sucked and was worth the 1 star, imo.When asked about my appointment I explained it was probably a computer issue, and was told sometimes home computers dont work right (which was fine) but when I said I had made the appointment in the center I was given a doubtful look and there was no apology anywhere on that conversation and felt like I was at blame.They promptly sent me a leave us a review message.And which it made me update this to a 1 star to 3.Will update again next time.

The team at Aspen Dental in Coralville, IA, was amazing!!! Dr. Peter Ruggiero and his assistant Kodi were just so awesome--both super friendly AND super knowledgeable. I felt totally safe trusting my teeth to their care, and Im so grateful to have had a chance to meet them and have them fulfill my dental needs during my stay in Iowa.I would absolutely recommend them to any of my friends and family!

They were absolutely amazing. If I could give a higher rating I would. They saw me in a pinch, when I was having severe dental issues affecting my ability to eat. When I needed a lot of bad teeth extracted ,they saw me right away, so I could get them out.The extraction process made my anxiety flare up pretty fast, and the dentist and assistant were so understanding and helped me through it. I loved the professionalism of the place, and will go there again for dental appointments in the future .

Not a happy employee in the office. Not a good experience at all. When you can hear talk of how unhappy they are with who they work for, no way would I stay and let them do any work on me.I kinda felt bad for them. Sad experience.I hope whoever reads this, that this office works for tries to figure out why they are so unhappy.Going To the dentist isn’t anything we look forward to. I was more upbeat than anyone in the office.Ask about a Lorie or Corey... the consensus was this person is no good. Small office, no doors, voices carry.I don’t know if the dentist is good, I don’t know if I would return. I do know when I got back to work I told my supervisors how much I appreciated them and I was thankful for my job.

I was told in my visit that I had gingivitis which isn’t likely since I brush twice a day and floss daily, normally go to the dentist 4xs a year (covid-19 caused problems with this in 19’) and have never been told any concerns by the doctor but only the nurse looking at my teeth after I had already brushed twice before I went to my appointment. I felt that this initial appointment was only a ploy and scare tactic to get me to spend more for treatment ($400+ worth) that wasn’t needed. Needless to say I will be going to a different dentist for all subsequent visits.

The staff were friendly, the technician cut my mouth doing the X-ray and the dentist kept forgetting about my tooth pain (the reason I came in). I did end up waiting 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment and did not leave with my tooth pain resolved. It was a fine enough place considering the first cleaning was free, but I dont think I will go back.

The overall exam was decent service. However, after I met with their consultant, she stated she would send all of my information over to the surgeon that was referred. After I left, I called the oral surgery clinic on two separate occasions and they stated to me that they never received anything from Aspen. I was in severe pain due to me needing wisdom teeth pulled and I still have not been able to because I have been waiting for Aspen dental to send my information over to the surgeon so I can have my teeth pulled.

This review is being made tentatively; its difficult to judge the quality of medical service as a non-practitioner. I had a broken tooth with a cavity getting close to the root; after I had a checkup, the doctors were able to schedule a new crown operation within a week, diagnose my gingivitis and suggest treatment for it, and provide me a realistic outlook on the tooths fate and what could be done about it. The quality of care seemed good, especially their attitude towards me as a patient; I was very nervous and afraid of the outcome, but everyone who worked with me was very measured and reassuring. I also was curious about many steps of the procedures, and they were able to explain them well to me.The actual operation was partially covered by insurance, but it was quite expensive. The reception did not check me for COVID-19 on my initial visit, but on my subsequent visits they did using a thermometer, which I appreciate. I am terrible with names, so I cant remember the names of the people who checked with me; if I can find them later today, I will add them in this review because they deserve kudos for their good service.

So far so good...as a nurse i expect good service...and know devoted workers need to be treated well. They were great to me. i felt the dental assistant and the dentist were awesome...and the office staff great too.ill keep going here for sure. the place is clean and they follow good hygenic routines. everyone in masks and social distances..i will admit people everywhere are putting masks below their noses...those folks in community and offices need the shield too if they hang out their nose please I do not want to get sick. And i dont want them to either. Clarifying i mean everywhere..this office is...99% masked perfect. Thanks.

Overall experience 5 place was clean, service fast (made a reservation), staff easy to get along with. The antibiotics prescription did take a bit to transfer to pharmacy but that can be expected. The tv/pc monitor thing was cool got to see whats going on without having to leave the exam chair.

I have had a different dentist each time I’ve gone in. There are some good and some act like they don’t know what they are doing. My last appointment my lip was burned and there was a scratch on my face after only getting tabs for Invisalign. The dentist was unprofessional, kind of rude to me and the assistant. She needs to work on her bedside manner.

If I could I’d give them 0 stars. Worst experience of my life. Completely unprofessional. Can’t even call back. I’ve been paying for invisalign almost 6 months and haven’t even got them. Every time I call its excuse after excuse or they simply don’t call back. I decided to cancel everything with them today. They said they’d issue a refund but I am sure I’ll have to call back to get things taken care of because that’s how my whole experience has been with them. They were so quick to charge but we have gotten absolutely no where. They couldn’t even take all my wisdom teeth out at once so now I have to go through that all over again. Oh and you’ll probably see a diff dentist every time and they’ll be confused about your care and tell you different things every time you go to an appointment. Take your business elsewhere!!

My experience with Aspen Dental was all around negative. First off, they are so incredibly disorganized. When I went in to my first appointment, they told me it would be $130 to get 2 of my wisdom teeth removed. When I drove 20 minutes all the way to the office though, they realized they had made a mistake, and wisdom tooth extraction was going to cost over $500. I needed them out desperately, so I went along with it. And when they removed my tooth, the doctor somehow managed to let me SWALLOW IT!!They also continually cancel appointments for both me and my roommate who have been seeing them. I drove my roommate all the way up there yesterday to get teeth removed, and then they said suddenly the doctor was not available because they were with another patient.They also consistently have at least 3-5 people in the waiting room at once, which makes it nearly impossible to distance from people during this pandemic. It seems like they just schedule in as many people as they can possibly fit into the schedule.And it also just seems that most of the people there have no idea what theyre doing. I got a consultation for Invisalign there, and they didnt even acknowledge my severe jaw problems. I went to a different place in Iowa City that said part of my jaw had worn down so much it looked worse than the natural breakdown of a 60 YEAR OLD (I am 21) and the folks at Aspen Dental didnt even notice!!All-in-all, I do not trust this place and will not be scheduling another appointment with them. Do not seek out care from this provider, especially if you do not have insurance, as they also dont offer payment plans for low income people. The doctors and staff were nice to me, but that is the only positive. Horrible place.

I broke a crown over the holiday, and this experience was by far the most inadequate approach for a temporary crown. Only needing a temporary crown to get by until I could get home. They approached me with a plan to address their concerns $8000.00 I would not recommend this business to anyone

I was able to get right in.They are friendly and make you feel important and comfortable.They made ever effort to make sure all my questions and concerns were answered.I have just recommended a friend to go to Aspen for any of her Dental needs.I also can not say enough about the Dentist Scott Lopshire,DDSA gentle soul. Throughout college this office did x3 cavity repairs for me. All had to be redone. Aspen re-did 2 of them a year later, and another 2 years after that all 3 were redone by a proper dentist. Could not recommend a dental office less than I do these guys. Run away - avoid at all costs.

Staff and dentists/dental assistants/hygienists all wonderful, non-judgemental, consistent and the actual dental work done was beautiful. My only complaint is with Aspen corporate business office, also the the way in which billing was explained and handled-- they did a really lousy thing to me. I was given the number of the person to address this-- Havent seen the outcome yet, so cant comment on if it was satisfactory. But I have been very happy with this office otherwise! Would recommend.

The male floating hygienist was rude, unprofessional, and is a racist. Here I am lying in bed with my painful face due to his rough techniques, which injured my gum. What was I doing to myself? I thought I went to clean my teeth. But not only did I inflict physical pain on myself, but I also experienced an unacceptable emotional racist treatment. The office manager was nice, and so what? They still have those unqualified health providers “floating” around. I am very angry and in both physical and emotional pain. I just want to yell “get rid of those floaters! Aspen dental!”

The worst dentistry i have ever been.I scheduled on a phone call for a teeth cleaning. However, when I arrived there, they did not ask for why I was there. Instead, they took me straight to the imaging place, where they took many photos of my teeth. later, i was told that theres no time for a teeth cleaning, because they have to do a comprehensive evaluation first. Even though I was a new patient to them, i have already done my previous teeth evaluation at another clinic not long ago, of course I did the imaging at my previous dentistry as well. They never asked me to transfer the documents. Instead, i was charged to do the things I didnt want to do. They didnt clarify on anything about the plan of the appointment at all. (I was unable to cancel the appointment right on the spot, because by the time I realized teeth cleaning couldnt be done, it was already too late)The people who work there were very unprofessional about how to use their machines. Moreover, they asked me twice about the same case history questions by two different people. (why cant these two people communicate about what the first person just wrote down?) In general, I think this clinic has so much to improve on... Especially on patient care.

Well I went to Aspen dental today. I read all a lot of negative comments about this place but I thought I would try it anyway. I had x-rays taken I had my mouth and teeth checked, Then the dentist came in and went over everything that was wrong with my mouth and teeth. I was expecting to have all the stuff brought to my attention when I went to check out and it didn’t happen. I was sure they were going to tell me to get a partial and a bridge Because that is what the University wanted me to do. They did not even mention that at all. They suggested that I had my teeth deep clean and that is also what the university suggested because I have very sensitive gums. I have to have two teeth pulled or two root canal‘s and two crowns. They said that decision was totally up to me and did not try to convince me to spend the most money. I have a couple cavities I need filled. They went through financing with me and said if I didn’t want to do that I could just pay as I had things done. So all in all I was very happy with the outcome. I got a prescription for pain meds for my tooth and some antibiotics for an infection. I do not have dental insurance at this time. It sucks that my insurance won’t cover anything because the systemic sclerosis that I have is the problem for my teeth decaying. All the acid reflux is what ruined my teeth. I decided to go back and have things worked on. The people were very nice, the customers that were waiting didn’t have any problems whatsoever. I sure was expecting something different from all the negative stuff I read. So far I’m very satisfied customer.

This was the best dentist visit Ive ever had BY FAR! I was a new patient and it had been a long time since my last dental check up, so I was a little nervous and did not really know what to expect. Everyone was so friendly start to finish. The staff calmly and informatively walked me through every procedure they performed and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. They were very patient and did a great job with my cleaning and scheduled later appointments according to my schedule. I have NO complaints about Aspen Dental and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist office!

I had not been to a dentist in years and was very nervous about going. The staff at Aspen are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had a lot of cavities, as I suspected, but they were courteous and nonjudgmental. They put together a clear plan for treatment and helped with financing options.The dentist always makes sure Im comfortable before starting and explains his actions, so theres no surprises.I still dont get excited about going to the dentist, but I no longer fear it. My lifelong dentist was retiring soon so thought I would start looking for his replacement. Stopped in to check them out. Very friendly staff and no pressure. Had a chat with Emily and decided to come back the following day to get a new patient review. Wow! Mia walked me through all phases of the x-ray procedures and what to expect next. Julia did a thorough exam of gum health. Dr. Loppshire explained what needed to be done and how to set up a plan to help. Deb then proceeded to explain how much it would cost and several payment options. Spent over an hour but have a plan to correct my dental issues that have been needed to be fixed. Prepaid on a payback plan I can afford and now I can no longer put off what should have been done for years. Thank You all at Aspen Dental.

This place it a total scam. After I got new insurance, I decided to go here because they were the only provider in my network. I thought I was scheduling a cleaning, but when I got there I found out it was just an examination. After getting many x-rays and my teeth 3D scanned for no reason, I was told I had gingivitis and needed to come in two more times for antibiotic treatments and a gum irrigation. After my insurance the whole thing was going to cost me over $200. Keep in mind I have never had a single cavity, crown, root canal, or any other major dental problem. I was so shocked, I went to my family dentist for a second opinion, even though he was out of network. There I was told all I needed was a normal cleaning and to floss. Even paying out of pocket, my family dentist cost me way less money than Aspen Dental with insurance.This place makes money by overcharging you for a bunch of special services and treatments that you dont need. They are a bunch of shameless grifters and snake-oil salesmen you should avoid at all costs. Dont believe the bots that post positive reviews.

Aspen Dental provides quality care, and they are always fast getting you in when you have an appointment. However, they do not communicate with their patients well. I recently visited for a cleaning and asked about my wisdom teeth, as I still have them and hadn’t heard anything about them or their removal at previous visits. The hygienist simply took X-rays and handed me a file with a referral sheet as I left. No explanation whatsoever. They didn’t even tell me if I had all 4 wisdom teeth, how soon I need them removed, or where I should take my referral. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. Their staff is very kind, and they provide good care, but they are not helpful or up-front with their patients’ concerns.

Don’t ever go to Aspen Dental for dental care. I went there for a toothache and they told me that I needed a root canal and that I didn’t have a choice. They also told me that I may end up losing all of my bottom teeth. I decided to seek a 2nd opinion from a 2nd dentist and I am so glad that I did because it turned out that I didn’t need a root canal after all.Aspen Dental doesn’t take the time to examine your teeth accordingly and they are not very patient.

Today I had two wisdom teeth removed at Aspen dental.In the past I had two from the opposite side removed and the experience was horrible.This time it was like magic. I havent been to a dentist in 7 years. I had a very detailed visit that included multiple x-rays, then meeting with the hygenist who check my gums and then the dentist who both were very helpful in telling me of the what needed to be done to improve my gum and teeth health. I know from the start it was going to be a very corporate vibe, but I didn’t care. I needed to get in and out and get a tooth pulled ASAP.I went in Tuesday afternoon sitting watching tv while waiting and while they did all their preliminary work, got a decent estimate (I knew it wasn’t going to be cheap) to do my whole dental work plus Invisalign. Then I asked for a estimate for just pulling my 4 wisdom teeth and a new filling. Now that’s where I thought maybe things wouldn’t go well. But they were more then happy to do both.So if you’re looking for a good, cheap, and quick dental appointment I’d definitely say go here. I was shocked at how quick they could get me. After reading other reviews I was skeptical about it. But they surprised me, even though it was hard to not watch Chip and Joanna And answer all the questions at the same time.

Yes we are in the middle of Covid-19 so I will give the coralville Aspen Dental that.I went in with a tooth ache and after x-rays were compleated they said here is a perscription and a few specialists that you can call following the perscription it would of lasted me 6 days, and the earliest appointment i could get at another dentist office to have a tooth pulled was may 4th 41 days later. I could not stand the pain anymore and tried to call to get a refill of the perscription and they are temporarily closed. I called the cedar rapids location they saw me that same day and pulled the tooth that needed to be pulled. From now on ill drive the extra 30 minutes to go to a location that cares about their patients.

I paid my full balance at the time of my visit. Over a year later, I received a letter from a collections agency informing me that they have assumed control of my overdue balance of $75. At no point in that time did I receive any notification of overdue balance. The billing department of Aspen dental has been bizarrely difficult to reach, the automated messages have continuously told me to contact during normal business hours, despite the fact THAT I HAVE BEEN. I went over to the office to try to talk to a real person and found the office closed, during their normal business hours, with no indication of why. My credit score has been damaged by this, and the company seems to have no interest in resolving this issue in any way.

Let me start out by saying that I never imagined that I would ever give a dentist a five star review. Aspen dental has changed my mind. Everyone who works there is friendly, and makes you feel welcome. The staff walks you through everything that they are going to do, but they dont talk down to you. I could not have asked for a better experience. Keep up the good work!!

Friendly staff . Kept me aware of waiting time before they would start my appointment which was very minimal. The gal that cleaned my teeth was very friendly and very skilled in her job. Check-out was quick and very familiar with processing the insurance.The entire office was professional and staff friendly.

Got me right in, the plus! bad Tooth, over 500 dollars later, pulled 2 teeth , wanted 3,I said no, have not had problem with 3rd since. Cut the a check before anything, first with insurance,. ???? I question service, just want repeat money.

Great they were able to help me with my tooth!! People were friendly, but not impressed with how much dirt i could see. Bugs in the light fixtures, the equipment hadnt been wiped down for some time. Being a health care facility, really need to pay attention to the cleanliness

Ill start with the conclusion: I do NOT recommend this place. And heres why.- First experience: I payed 500$ for a molar filling, only to find out a week-of-pain later that what I actually needed was a root canal! When I asked why didnt they tell me that before we did the filling, they said they didnt know that! Thats 500$ lost for the filling, plus the additional 1000$ for the root canal. They think people find money on trees.- Second experience: At my last session there, I was assured by the billing officer that my balance is now at zero. After I pay my share, which I did at that session, the insurance will cover the rest and I can leave knowing that I owe nothing anymore. They made me rest assured that I am done with everything (after several sessions and almost 2000$ payed in fees). Several weeks later, I receive a bill saying that I still needed to pay 330$ in order to close my balance! When I call to inquire about that, especially after they lied to me when I was there saying that my balance is closed, the billing officer did not return my calls. I had to email her and the manager to get a response, which of course was the classic your insurance did not cover everything. Well why didnt you tell me that when I was there?! They should have been transparent while I was there to discuss it on the spot, and not lie by saying that my balance was closed initially, then surprise me weeks later with a bill.Final words: I was disappointed by the experience there and I cant trust them with money at all, unfortunately. They either surprise you with a bill after they assure you that the balance is closed, or make you pay for expensive procedures without involving you in the decision-making process; they should explain the benefits/risks/costs of every procedure, especially since each one costs 500-1000$. Again, people work hard for their money.

I was shocked that I was able to get in the same day. With the pain I was in, that was amazing in itself. The entire staff was friendly and judgement free. The setup was great as well. One of the other great things was that everything for the first visit was free: x-rays included! They will be my home dental providers for sure!

I wish I could not even giving them a 1 star rating. Front desk person was fine. I got these teeth several years ago. I realize that the bottom teeth will move around but the top teeth pop out when they should not. When I first got the teeth...I was not even given a mirror to look...had to go to the restroom to see them. This week I went for a denture cleaning....teeth still pop out. When I asked to see the dentist, he came in and said that that is what happens with teeth. Did not even look in my mouth to see if there was a solution. I had teeth earlier from another dentist for 15 years...they NEVER popped out when they were not suppose to...so I know it is possible to get a good fit. The only reason I did not go back to him was because he is more expensive and does not have a payment plan. I guess you get what you pay for !!!!!!

A very positive experience.Made an appointment online ....very easy!Got confirmation by e-mail and got a call from the office to give a heads -up on what info & insurance and what ever else was needed for my appointment.The office is clean and very efficient. My wait time was approximately 35 min. I was out of the office in 1 hour and very please with the service.Very kind, courteous professional personnel .I will be a return customer when needed and I personally highly recommend Aspen Dental.

Everything went well for me during my appointment on 8/28/2018.I was seen within minutes after checking in, the Hygenist (sorry, I didn’t get her name) was very friendly and did an excellent job- very thorough and professional. I was in and out in less than an hour. She and the entire staff at Aspen Dental are the best.

My fiancé and I had back to back appointments so that we could go together. We arrive 15 minutes early, like they told us, to fill out the paperwork. I had already filled mine out online but my fiancé had not had a chance to. After returning the paperwork to the front desk, we take a seat to wait our turn. 45 minutes later they finally get to my fiancé. He is going in at the exact time my appt. is suppose to start. I was not happy. I was told it was because lunch had ran behind. Anyway, I then have to wait an extra 45 minutes for my appt. to start when they are bringing people back to the rooms that showed up after me. That, again, was very frustrating. I finally get called back and do x-rays. The woman doing the x-rays was the nicest person there. She does the x-rays and then takes me back to the room for my appt. I have to wait 20 minutes before I even see a dental hygienist. Once she is done with me after about 10 minutes, I have to wait 20 more minutes to even see the dentist. The dentist spends 5 minutes with me and then leaves. I am told someone will be with me shortly. Once it hit another 20 minutes, I get up and ask to leave. I was very frustrated that my time did not seem like a priority. Finally, I meet with someone and they say that I have to come back two more times to get my teeth cleaned. I just waited that whole entire time for an appt. that I sat up to get my teeth checked and cleaned and they did not even clean my teeth! Needless to say I am not going back and I recommend to everybody to find someplace else.

I called and said I had a broken tooth, and needed 3 teeth extracted, they told me no problem. I got there, they did a total of 5 X-rays, on 3 teeth-- thats all I have left. I told that tech, I busted needed the extractions. I get put in the chair, dentist comes in, looks in my mouth for about 20 seconds and starts telling me about the thousands of dollars I can spend on new dentures, implants, I tell him I just want the 3 teeth pulled, he gets the demo showing me the micro implants and tells me the office manager will be in. During this time the cute blonde starts telling me how wonderful it is here, office manager has a print out of my care plan otherwise known as my bill, I repeat my 3 3 teeth pulled.. basically, unless you plan on dropping 3000-4000 on a new complete set of dentures, avoid these money hungry bastards.

Excellent customer service. Treatment plan was explained with great detail. My encounter with the dentist was less pleasant. He seemed rushed and not open to hearing my concerns. Appeared arrogant. Again, enjoyed my interaction with the hygienist but will be considering another location in the future where I feel a stronger personal investment from the densit and not like Im just another number of countless patients.

I was intense tooth pain and walked in without an appointment or calling first. Aspen Dental in Coralville was kind enough to make room for me in their already very busy schedule. I got a free X-ray as a new patient, they identified the problem and were able to apply a temporary fix immediately. I highly recommend them, though I would also recommend setting up an appointment!

Aspen Dental was an amazing experience for me. I had a tooth pain emergency, they squeezed me in the same day. I think the mans name was Tony who works the front desk, he is so kind! Also, each of the staff ask how I am doing, how my day is going, and were just exceptional. I had a fantastic experience with these kind and wonderful people!! I recommend!!

You should run not walk away from Aspen Dental. The billing office is inept at best, corrupt at worst. They over charged me for a copay because they failed to submit a claim to one of my insurance companies so when I got them to submit it to the second insurance policy the insurance paid them and so far nobody will issue me a refund, so they have my money and the money from my insurance company both. I called the Iowa attorney general’s office to report this and they were all too familiar with Aspen Dental having had multiple complaints. The billing person at this location looked me directly in the eyes and lied to me not once but twice

I was absolutely impressed - after not having dental insurance for 6 years, I expected a painful re-entry process for my first cleaning. But no, my dental hygienist Cameron performed quite literally the most gentle cleaning that I have ever experienced. Others may be interested in getting the job done, but she seemed interested in doing it WELL. Everything else about my visit was impressive too - from the initial x-rays, the dentist, the various people that I talked to at the front desk and about the costs involved with cleaning (e.g., I do a fluoride treatment daily, so I didnt want to pay $40 out of pocket for their version - but I am glad that they were so up front about every aspect of the cost, and friendly too). I will definitely be returning here for my next cleaning.
