The next morning the computer was working as good as new. Eric has been doing this work for almost two decades, and that is significant. Great work at a reasonable price. Im very happy and will return the next time I need computer service.

I took my laptop to Eric to get the screen latch of my laptop repaired. The part took some time to come in, but he was responsive and kept me up to date by text. By the time the part came in, I took it to him and it was ready to go the next afternoon. My laptop screen latch was fixed up and he did a really great job. I found Eric online and based on reviews, I decided to give him a try. I took a drive to him and was a bit wary when I noticed that it was a private home, but thought, with Covid-19 most everyone is working from home. Eric was professional, timely, technically savvy & capable; he was also super nice. I took a 2014 Macbook Pro with a bulging battery that was affecting my Trackpad and prevented the computer from closing. He told me he would take care of it and informed, that it would take roughly 3 days. It did! The Friendly Computer Guru will be our go to for computer guy from now on. If you are looking for a stress free and trust worthy repair, this is your guy. Dont think it over, just call him!

He knows the panic a customer feels when they must stop work because of a technical issue, so he does his best to accommodate quickly. He understands the frustration we non-technical people feel when we have no clue how to fix our own machines, and he never fails to break down the explanation of the problem just right and give just enough detail, but not too much...all the while being super humble and patient about it. My DELL laptop screen broke and I was desperate to have it fixed due to my upcoming test. Searched the internet for DELL and other IT assistance to find out that my warranty had just expired, and that DELL would charge $30-$50 (depending of express service) to have it shipped and diagnosed. On top of this cost DELL would charge me the material replaced and a warranty renewal of about $100 with a turnaround time of at least a week. He immediately confirmed that the issue was only my screen and had it replaced for a very reasonable price. He also sent me the files I needed for my test while having the screen fixed.
