I called on a Friday and spoke to Floyd. I believed I needed rear brakes and also needed an oil change. I went in on Sunday morning at 10 am and was out by 11:15. My vehicle was immediately taken in and the work began. Oil was changed & after inspection of my brakes, Floyd advised me that my brakes were fine & did not needed to be done. I was relieved to know, that first my brakes were fine but that I was not sold something I did not need. How many places do you know that would give you an honest diagnosis? The gentleman that was working on my truck was very nice. He checked my tire pressure, filled my windshield wiper tank, and made sure all fluids were good. I did not get his name but he was very personable & professional. Kudos to Floyd and the team for great service and being honest. You have a customer for life in me! I have been a regular Midas customer at Midas CORAL SPRINGS 8080 Wiles Road Coral Springs, FL 33065 since 1997. In the past, this location has always provided me with trustworthy, accurate and reliable service. Things have changed this year however. Following events have shaken my trust:1.On 06/23/2021 I requested a quote for synthetic oil change on the phone. I was quoted $49.99 for the first quart and then Additional if my car needed more than 4 quarts. I made an appointment and went into store 10 minutes before the appointment.a) I was told that it would cost me 55.68 without taxes and the service desk personplayed a jedi mind trick to justify why the quote was different from what wasgiven on the phone. (confusing me with Things like other fee and shop fee thatwas not disclosed during the phone conversation. (See the picture below)b) My car was taken into service area 15 minutes after the appointment time.c) It took one hour beyond that.d) The front desk told me that my front brake pads needed replacement and thatit would cost me $225 to replace them.I was already late for my next appointment due to the excessive time time it took. I requested to give me a quote and I would return. The paper they gave me has not costs quoted.d) I had to return for the second time the same day, because the washer fluid was still empty, even though there is a clear warning indication as soon as you turn on the car.The mechanic did not care to look at the dash board.2.On 07/16/2021 Midas sent me a reminder about brakes (good). I requested an appointment 07/17/2021. System said that the appointment will be confirmed 30 minutes after they open.I did not get that so I called in. They told me to come on at the time I had requested the appointment.Went in 10 minutes before the appointment. Was told that it would take 2 hours before I could utter a single word. I was now given a quote of $257.Bottom line: The difference in prices given verbally and written is not tremendous.It is all about trust. Not being able to see what the mechanics are doing to your car makes this important matter of trust. If they are willing to lie just for a few dollars, and there are no checks on items missed, how can I trust the rest of the work performed by them.

Dont know anything about cars. I went it for an overheating problem. They told me is was going to be $600. Went to a different mechanic, he fixed the problem in a couple hours for $160. Guess I need to educate myself on cars or else Ill just get scammed.

Flyod Woods is the most customer service oriented person I have ever seen I was observing him closely because every one he was talking with he made them very important . .He takes pride in his job and he tries to make everyone happy. I normally do not likegoing to places like this I felt very comfortable and relaxed. I will tell all my friends about this place.

My boyfriend and I have been going to this place for 2 years. We go there mainly to change our oil. Every single time we go there, we leave with another issue. It never fails. Either suddenly we need new tyres, the alignment is off, the engine light comes on, brake issues...always something. Last week, my boyfriend went for an oil change and when he left he noticed his engine light came on.. a day later he realized one of his headlights was out. When his cousin helped him to see about his vehicle, he realised the low beam headlights was disconnected. Keep in mind, my boyfriend went there with the lights working and they told him your headlight is out and it will be $66 to fix it. They also loosened the connection on the air filter, which made the engine shake, and the engine light to be on. We will not be returning to this place , they are a bunch of scammers and have been robbing us for two years. Its just crazy how they do this EVERY SINGLE TIME that we go there. Sadly, it took 2 years.

Needed quite a bit of work done on my car. Originally I went to my dealer but they were charging me so much I decided to shop around. I called Midas and they took me right away . Midas definitely had the better competitive price. I also got a lifetime guarantee on my brakes! The manager Floyd is very welcoming and gives genuine honest advice, he’s didn’t give me a sales speech like they did in Honda which I really appreciated. Everyone was kind, I know my car was properly taken care of and I’ll definitely come back for anything else I need.

I have provided pictures as well.I got four new tires from here and when I left shortly after one of them deflated.From 6/28/17- 7/10/17 I found myself going back there many times for the flat tire. They tried to fix it and set me on my way. They never fix it correctly. I am a uber driver they put many lives at risk. They also lied about the road hazard warranty they said if I need to use it for a new tire there would be no money involved for me to pay they lied.They never could figure out the problem so I took it to another mechanic and in less than 5 minutes he found the problem it was a simple valve stem a simple tire valve stem.I hope you read this comment and listen to it Im saving you a lot of money and time.

Floyd did great at explaining to me the issues that my truck had and when postponing some of the services there were not feeling of being pressure or a catch.

I brought my car here today for an oil change because I saw an ad online that promised better deals than other places in the area that I checked. The oil change was even cheaper than I anticipated which was fantastic. When I was greeted, Floyd the store manager pointed out that my front two tires were in pretty bad shape which I was aware of but wasn’t planning on buying them today as I usually buy a specific tire because I get deals on said tire from a family friend‘a shop. He didn’t try to push the tire purchase on me as many mechanics tend to do especially you go in for a simple oil change, he simply pointed out he could get the same tire and would try to match the price for me. When we looked, he discovered it wasn’t in stock but actually found a better quality tire for me and discounted them to around the same price point which was very nice of him. Icing on the cake, he also installed some after market lugnuts that I had purchased previously to replace my old ones just because he saw them sitting on my passenger seat and asked me if he’d like me to put them on. Sure, not a huge job, but sometimes it’s the little things that make your experience. I was in and out in about an hour which was more than reasonable and Floyd was friendly and nice to share laughs with while I waited. These guys work quick and from my experience, they aren’t there to rip you off, a fear of many anytime you enter an auto shop. They seem genuine. Thanks Floyd and Midas, you gained a repeat customer in me today.

Lou is the receptionist and he truly made the process 5-star. I found out from an oil change at another company that I had a transmission leak, I called in to see if they had time to just look at it, they said bring it on in. When I got there, they got to my car right away and found the problem. when they found out what was needed Lou made some calls to find the right part and when they said they couldnt deliver it until 2pm, Lou had another coworker go pick it up to speed up the process. he made everyone feel like family. the mechanics worked fast and efficiently! I would 10/10 recommend this place.

Worst place ever to get anything done. I bought a Volkswagen Jetta from my dealership that I work at and had it fully inspected I took a dare for an oil change and they said my brakes dont work it was working perfectly fine before I took it there and had them changed a month earlier. Then I take my wifes Vehicle there for an oil change and they told me that I needed the lower control arms which I took to my dealership and found out it did not need it they adjusted it so it steers to the right there a bunch of crooks and very disappointed in that location. Do not go there it always seems that your car might have an issue after the oil change.

I called for an alignment and the guy told me to come between 115 and 1:30. so I showed up at 1:30 and he told me he still has one car to put up there but its being looked at 1st come back at 2. I come back at 2:15 and he tells me they put a car on the alignment rack before the one that was supposed to go up and another 1 still us to go up so its still gonna be a while. No phone call and I was waiting outside the whole time! Last time I go In here with customer service like that.

I got a really good Groupon for here (don’t get too excited- they said they won’t be accepting these anymore). My car came out fine, but I drove 35 min to get here (for the bargain!) but it took 3 HOURS for an oil change. Also the staff was not very friendly. I think they were mad they could not find anything wrong with my car to try n up sell me. Will not be returning.

Great place....thoroughly went through everything with my car and recommended what was needed. If you can, drop it off and leave it. They actually drove me to my office and then i went back 4 hours later and it was done. Worked out great.

Everyone is well aware dealing with car repairs can be unpleasant. I would never recommend a place without a great experience. I dropped my car off. I received a call and immediately feared bad news. To my surprise I was told part only needed tightening and nothing else. No charge!! This is honesty and I recommend this Midas to everyone.

I have been coming to this Midas for 7 years. They have dealt with my business rental cars and personal cars. They have always been efficient and they always give me the best price on any job. I refer my family and friends to this location all the time and always the same great results. Come here if you need car work done!

The most worst experience ever. I paid 1,500 just to find out that the issue they claim my car had was never fixed. I had to bring my car back the next day just to hear the mechanic tell me that it was to windy thats why he couldnt see the oil leak from under the car. My advice to anyone when you take your car there invest the time to stay and watch what work is being done to your vehicle. Unless youre willing to pay the price but the work was never done.

I went to this location to get a wheel alignment and it was not done properly and the mechanic lied and said tires needed to be cross rotated. I watched him working on my car and he looked frustrated when he could not get the alignment done properly.The mechanics name is Luis. I had to come back 2 more time to fix it correctly. The second time I came he did not test drive my car only cross rotated it again. The 3rd time a mechanic named LeRoy finally fixed it and test drove the car with me in it. The guy Luis wouldn’t even look me in my eyes and apologize for messing up my wheel alignment. Horrible customer service.

Drove 25 miles to get here after a phone conversation with the gentleman at the shop hold them the year make and model and what I needed done Once I arrived they put my car in the lift and told me they could not do it today never returning to this location!

I only write reviews for exceptional service. Everyone there is so respectful and patient. I dont know a lot about cars so I put a great deal of trust in those that are advising me. The Midas staff (Joel and Kyle) gave me the most cost effective quote for what I actually needed. They even gave me ideas and options that would save me money. Highly recommended. I mentioned my experience with Midas to my friends who know cars and they told me I got a very good deal.

Purchased a set of brand new michelin tires for my 2016 ram 1500. Initially the tires rode smooth but after about 1000 miles I started to feel a bad vibration on them. I took the truck back to them and they immediately went to resolving the issue! They rotated and balanced those tires 3 times and test drove it to make sure there was no vibration in the ride! I am very pleased with the service I received from this business. The manager and his staff are well trained and very courteous! Ill always be a customer!!!!

I got an oil change there a few years ago and havent been back, they couldnt figure out why my check engine light came on after serviced well u went back 4 times for them to finally figure out they didnt have the air intake closed properly but then a week later my engine blew because apparently they didnt even put new oil in my van and it ultimately blew my engine and then wanted to charge me $4,500 to fix it and claimed its not their fault. I took it down the road to A1 auto and they only charged me $2,500. So in all Midas sucks.
