I came across general auto service center due to car problems I was having with my vehicle misfiring and my battery going dead. I read the reviews and was curious to see if what I was reading would be actual in person. I got to tell you being that this was a grudge purchase I did not want to go through any more headaches than what I was experiencing with my car. Needless to say I went in on Tuesday and met Joel, who greeted me with a Warm smile and ask about my issue. He then proceeded to take my info and said he would get back to me with a resolution. I then left went to work and within two hours he called back and told me the issue,resolution, and price. Joel was very fair with the pricing and turnaround time. He explained everything to me so that I would understand what happened to my car and what would be done, nothing more nothing less. When I pick up my car it was back to normal running like a champ. Joel has earned my future business and my trust.

First time using my extended warranty with Toco Warranty. Usually I would take my vehicle to Solution Tire to let them work on my vehicle. Needed a water pump put on my vehicle. So I take my vehicle to General Auto Service Center. My wife used them in the past. So I was like ok, I’ll give them a try. I not complaining about the service that was done on my vehicle. I’m complaining about how they went through my vehicle, like they was looking for something. All items in my doors were on top of my passenger seat. They went through my center console, left items on my passenger seat. I’m a diehard Cowboys fans, I had a cowboys keychain with a metal hook. When I picked up my vehicle, the metal hook was missing. I been dealing with Solutions Tires over 8 yrs , left my wallet, cell phone, laptop, and IPad. Never ever had a problem with items missing from my vehicle when dealing with Solution Tires. First time using General Auto Service Center items missing. Never using them again. Employees can’t be trusted to do their job, without going through a customer vehicle.

Tried getting wheels and guy who answered gave me an attitude.

I have been oil changing with this shop for some time, but this was first time I had mechanical issue with my Acura. Joel did a free assessment ( dealer wanted $180 for same) and gave me an estimate within 15 minutes. I had my alternator replaced with warranty at very fair price (I checked online estimator, very fair). Honest and very timely service. I am very pleased.

This afternoon, I had a tire rapidly losing air on Sawgrass. My tire wouldn’t have lasted another ten minutes without being completely flat. I called General at 5:00 PM and they told me to come right in and they helped me right away. These guys at General have always taking great care of me and I’m thankful. I highly recommend this place.

There are a hundred tire shops on Wiles road, but this place is miles above in customer service and satisfaction. Joel and his team of guys have shown exemplary integrity and honesty by putting safety and my best interest at the forefront of our interactions. What else can I say? Theyre just the best.

This place is excellent! The prices are right on par with all the other garages around town but what makes this place is the staff. Joel and Frank are beyond great! They generally care about you and your vehicle. They are both just all around good guys. I’ll never go anywhere else for car issues.

Honestly backed out a small screw and verified tire wasn’t punctured. Helped and didn’t charge me. I will definitely go back when service is needed. Thank you so much.

Reminds me of the honest neighborhood mechanic that everyone used back in the day! Yes, they still exist! Great service and prices. When I go to the dealership for recalls, they always try to push other repairs that arent covered under warranty. I always decline and call Joel instead. I highly recommend General Auto.

After another shop in the area telling me I needed AC Compressor for my car. A friend told me to call this place. I went in planning on spending for a new compressor, but these guys checked it out and told me all I need is the relay. Blowing cold ever since! Very Happy!!! Its good to find an Honest Shop! Amazing service, I went to 2 different places before, trying to fix the valve on my spare tire and mounting a tire, none of these places even tried allegedly because my car is a Mercedes and everything is “different”. However, Joel from General Auto Service Center said let me try it and he did repair my valve and put on the tire on the rim I needed. All of this for a super price, these guys saved my day. Thanks!

Took my truck in. Nothing crazy, a 2500 Ram with a leveling kit. Guy blatantly told me he didn’t want to do it. Didn’t want to admit he couldn’t or didn’t know. Just told me he didn’t WANT to. I ended up aligning the truck myself in my driveway. 8k miles tires wearing amazing and tracks straight. Thanks YouTube. There’s better shops out there. This place has good reviews so I’d you have a regular boring car I’m sure they can get it aligned. It’s why I’ll give it two stars.

Joel is great! Fit me in the last minute for a tire rim replacement and new brakes. I was out in an hour and the price was very good. Would highly recommend him and will be using him in the future for all of my auto work.

I was looking for a new place to bring my car since my mechanic moved out of state. I saw the review for this shop and decided to give it a try. My cars A/C Condenser had a blockage so I brought it in. Joel was very friendly and helpful. Got it fix real quick so I decided to get an oil change and coolant flush. Got it done within the hour. Reasonable price and friendly service. Definitely coming back here and hopefully can continue using their service for my car and my wifes car.

Very honest ! They fixed everything for me. They saved me a $ 400 repair last year!

Tires replaced but hubcap was lost due to not being secured properly. I complained and the manager replaced them but they fell off again. Did not return and ended up replacing it myself which are still on months later. They did not reset the tpms either which made the pressure sensor stay continuously on.
