I needed a change and guys Im loving it my stylist AYESHA did a magnificent job on my hair as well as explaining the maintainance I have to take. love how she prioritized me and took her time it just shows she is an amazing stylist never will I be going to another salon or another person again I love it! On a whim, I decided to walk in, I had never been to the salon before and was a little nervous to try something new. Morgan was great! She listened to exactly what I wanted and made it happen. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. My daughter had hair down to her waist and I took her to JC Penney Salon to get a hair cut, I told them ahead she has very wavy hair & others have always cut it dry. My daughter wanted long layers plus have it thinned out, pinkie completely butchered her hair! Chunks of hair are missing & her layers resemble garland on a Christmas tree. Very disappointed!

Morgan did a great job on my sister and aunts hair.

I would give zero stars if it allowed me to. We made an appointment for our son and showed up 7 minutes early. No one was at the desk, no one in sight. Then a lady came out from the back, looked up at us, then went on about mixing hair colors. Never even greeted us. I went to the front of the store to ask for help, and he walked us back there, to make sure we would be helped. Then out comes the rude one, claims she was too busy to greet us and said Yes, when we are with clients, we are too busy to greet people. WOW. She event went as far and said the other worker that we were scheduled with had walked around to look for us before she took another client--BS. We arrived early. It upsets me that we called two days in advance to schedule, and drove our children all the way there to just be disregarded. She should quit her day job because customer service is not her thing. What an awful experience. We will never go back.

Gari is a great hairstylist but every time I try to make an appt they never answer their phone. I can never get in touch with anyone. I try and try, call and call yet I get no answer. Do you get the point that they NEVER answer their phone at least not in the evening.

Against my better judgement I decided to pop in to the JCPenny for a hair cut. That is the one and only time I will ever make that mistake. I had asked for their best girl. He name is Elaine. 7 years experience and she didnt know the most basic thing. I requested a long round layer hair cut. She said she knew what it was. We began with a shampoo which was painful. I cringed every time she dug her nails into my scalp to scrub. Basic rule of cosmetology you dont use your nails to scrub the scalp. She does the cut and hated her technique. She clearly did not do what I asked for. She gave the hair cut she wanted to give or perhaps the only one she knew how to give. When she got to the blow dry she wanted to do the whole thing with the vent brush which will give me no style at all. She also didnt know the first rule of blow drying. NEVER blow dry up the cuticle. She did that and I had to correct her at which time she was clearly irritated with me. When she was done my hair was very jagged and very far from what I wanted. I hoped to help it a bit with my own blow dry. It didnt help at all. Im am so disgusted with my hair and am so tempted to cut it myself. I would most likely do a better job.
