Got a membership Thursday checked out Planet Fitness on Friday, set up for a custom for me exercise regimen for myself on Monday. Today I got a tour of the facility and the equipment after the trainer had come up with some exercises that would benefit me in the way that I need them to. Simple enough it seems. Well see how progress goes. As for the staff, they all seem friendly and at least knowledgeable when asked questions. The gym was very clean and everything was in great working order. So far I am very pleased. Thank you all for a great experience.

Im currently at the gym sat, July 31 at 11:27pm. The front counter staff was the best thank you for your welcoming and being attentive! The night staff is the greatest also this one particular girl I love that’s there on certain afternoons.😃

Ive been going here for a little over a month now. Everyone is super friendly and nice except the blonde girl with glasses. She acts like she doesnt work there though shes sitting behind the desk. I always try to find someone else to help so I dont have to distract her from her phone.

Clean facilities, courteous members, use of tanning beds and hydro massage as part of the monthly membership. Most of the staff members are very friendly and welcoming. There are just a couple of workers at the desk that seem to be bothered with being asked for a massage chair or tanning session, but that isn’t the majority. It’s a great price for a nice gym. In my younger days I would’ve wanted more free weights rather than just smith machines and dumbbells, but the condition that most of my major joints are in these days it doesn’t bother me. Overall great experience and value.

They will take your money in a crisis. You don’t have to step foot in there gym. I will put this on every social media site that the will take your money even if you never used the facility. I was going thru a divorce and they wanted to charge even if you don’t even have a home worse place ever.Reply: I can understand if I went in there after the initial sign up but I didn’t. But you can keep your membership cause I rather be overweight then go to a money grubbing place like yours. Don’t care for the customer just the money they bring.

This has been my one and only gym for the past two months or so and I admit I love it. I tried PF back in 2019 (different location) but it didnt really get me the same way. Staff is friendly, space is clean and theres a lot of room. Can be crazy throughout the day, and the crowd meter needs some serious calibration!! But overall very enjoyable and affordable.

Employee “Ron” not wearing a name tag probably because of his attitude. Got a new phone and didn’t have the app downloaded. Acted like it was a huge inconvenience to look me up by my number. Said he “might” be able to. Gym is clean and new equipment but what is this guys problem?

I used to be a Planet Fitness member, and I used this location after I moved. I didnt have any complaints then or now, but I wish there was a barbell bench and a squat rack. But, its still a pretty good gym to get a good workout. I came as a guest today and it was late, so it wasnt busy. Its really clean inside, a lot of equipment and variety. And the membership is affordable.

Just started going a week ago but I like the different stations that are setup. They have good benefits, great price, and a really great atmosphere. It’s usually not very busy which is a bonus for me because even though it’s a judgement free zone I’m still fairly self conscious.

Super clean. Love the private showers. Every piece of workout equipment you could ever desire.. friendly culture, friendly staff, even the general customer base is often polite and friendly and respectful of one anothers space. Could not be happier with my membership.

I love this gym and location! DJ & The Young Woman with red hair who works at night during the weekdays ARE AWESOME! They deserve raises! Both are professional upbeat and knowledgeable about machines and membership questions I had. Great location and plenty of space

Like most adults I am very busy and I chose planet fitness because they had a 30 minute circuit and unfortunately, I can never use it because there’s always someone sitting at the machines on their phones or using two machines at one time. They will leave their things at one machine and bounce back and forth to another and there is absolutely no one to police the area!! I have tried to talk to the people at the desk but they act like I am disturbing their Facebook time. I have been told that they are too busy to keep an eye on anything and just today when I left there was five people standing behind the desk doing absolutely nothing! So, I do the like gym it is convenient for me but I will find one that is more attentive to their customers.

A nice and clean facility. Extremely courteous staff that will readily show you how to use a machine if you do not know how.

RON the front desk guy was completely rude that I didnt have my app downloaded on my new phone to check me in yet.... he refused to check me in to gym. Made the manager Ty to come do it bc he absolutely refused to. I have been a committed customer with your esablishment for over 2 years. I understand that its inconvenient but that was totally unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable.Unbelievable Planet Fitness...I thought this was a judge free zone???

Nice place to work out. Staff is friendly, and someone is always there. Lots of different equipment to choose from, and I like that they have the classes you can sign up for.

Went for my morning workout and there were several stations with no paper towels. Believe it or not, there are a lot of sweaty people working out between the hrs of 5-7 am. When i was leaving I told the girls up front who one was down in her phone and the other putting on lip gloss that several stations didn’t have paper towels. One of the girls just looked at me and said “ok” while the one on her phone never looked up. Yes I am fully vaccinated but I still like to clean up before I use a machine. #poorservice

My wife and I were members with this club post-covid. During this time we were told we could put our membership on hold. Suddenly last month charges started showing up on our bank account. When I called the person on the phone said the hold only lasted so long. We werent informed of a reactivated membership.So, when I called them again, they said I had to come by in person to cancel. I was livid. So I drove there and asked to cancel myself and my wifes membership. The guy at the counter was rude to say the least and informed my I was going to get charged again. I asked for the manager and he said he was. Gino was his name. He just kept telling me I was under contract. Then when I asked him to cancel my wifes he told me she had to personally drive there to do so. I said I would take care of it and left as I felt I was getting angry and might have said something I would regret. Never again man. I called my bank and had to stop payment which cost me more, but it was worth it. You dont want to know what I think of them...Anyone else this happened to reviw to corporate and contact BBB.Update: So, once again Planet Fitness managed to get more money out of my account by using an alternate pay code according to my bank. I put a stop payment on it last month but they have tricks up their sleeve. Today, my bank told me that its not unusual and that I might have to change out my debit card. My advice is do not use them.

This place will rip you off. I wanted to cancel my membership and they told me to come back on the first of the month at the end of my contract. So I did just that. Except that they dont tell you that they charge your card that day and they take out a renewal fee on the 25th of the month before your contract expires. They will not refund even though they said to come in on the 1st. They just said sorry about that and walked away. So I dont think I have to say how unprofessional the staff is. Find another gym!

Love that it is guilt free. No one judges. Were all shapes& sizes& on our own life plan. Its comfortable for ALL.

The facility is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are a variety of machines and plenty to go around. I have the black card and I love the amenities that come with it. It’s a great price for everything that is included. The locker room is good sized as well.

This is a pretty good gym with limited weight machines and equipment. They have plenty of cardio machines like treadmills, rowing machines, stationary bikes, elliptical, and stair stepper. They cleanliness is fair and the staff is friendly.

I absolutely love this gym! Plenty of equipment and always clean. The app is amazing and can even let you know how busy they are. The cost is low compared to other gyms.

I wanted to join a gym for a while now. I went to a different gym about a year ago because they were the only one nearby but, their price was outrageous. Since then, I moved and there just happens to be a Planet Fitness close by. Planet Fitness’ price is very reasonable. In fact, it’s less than I would have ever thought. Planet Fitness has a lot more amenities too. I also love the fact that they are very anti-“gymtimidation”. The one I go to is huge and there is literally tons of equipment. I never have to wait to use anything I want to. It’s very clean too. It’s a great place to go burn off some energy.

No one is wearing masks at this location. COVID precautions are not being enforced at all.

This place was fantastic the staff were friendly and welcomed us with a smile. They have a wide array of workout equipment such as treadmills, ellipticals, leg press, seated leg press, and bicep extension. And in case any people who think they are huge and/or fat see this comment and sorry if I offend you dont worry about being made fun of or judged because of how you look when you come here Planet Fitness has a zero tolerance for stuff like this I have seen people the size of a sumo wrestler come in here and the staff dont care what size you are whether youre big, skinny, buff or just an average man or woman they dont care when you come you stay as long as you want if you stay for 5 minutes they dont care stay for half the day they dont care. I weighed over 330 pounds by the time I was 22 but with something called the keto diet and daily workouts at planet fitness I have gone down from 330+ to just over 250 pounds. 80 pounds lost.

I’ve been a member here for 2 1/2 years. Shortly after Covid started I attempted to cancel my membership and the staff refused to cancel the membership over the phone. Since I’ve contacted the facility 2 more times and each time has been a horrible experience over the phone. The location is more than a 40 minute drive for me now and I simply cannot access the gym. I’ve only been able to get into the gym 10 times since signing up due to distance and health problems. Making it this difficult to cancel my membership is upsetting and discouraging. At this point once I finally get the membership cancelled I will never associate myself with Planet Fitness again. The staff here has been rude, not accommodating and certainly not understanding.Also PSA I worked at large corporate gym for 3 years and I know managers can accommodate concerns if existing barriers exist. Sadly this establishment does not care about accommodating anyone.

They lost or didnt put my cancel papers in 2015 and Im stuck with a balance and they wont bother with it so now the gym will not gain 4 people of my family. Over a $100 balance..

I went there on February 10 around 11.30 pm for my first time ever.I was feeling embarrassed.But the lady at the front desk where so sweet and helpful.She answered all my questions and nicely explained how it works.Everything was so good and clean.I have the black card membership and definitely worths every penny.

Crooks. Sarcastic kids working the counter. DANGEROUS equipment. Twice i complained about a broken seat on the same piece, obviously it wasnt fixed the 1st time, the 2nd time actually caused me to injure my back when it collapsed under me while I was working out. The response when I informed staff was rude , inappropriate, and a waste of time. When I finally came in to cancel, I gave my reaso s as stated above. She listed medical as the reason and they actually had the nerve to charge another month after I canceled. Pursuing legal options due to the injury, after they were notified multiple times of the faulty equipment.

Very friendly..spoke with Randi she is very friendly and informative. She answered all my questions even though she couldnt leave the front desk due to employee limits she did her best to give me a tour around the gym. The gym was very clean had cleaning stations everywhere. Was very impressed.

I just have to say that the people who work here are literally the nicest people ever. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming, the equipment is clean, and amenities are great! Couldn’t be happier :)

When you first walk into the gym you are greeted with several sign stating Masks are required in this facility at all times If you stand and watch the patrons coming into the gym there are countless people who walk past without a mask on or they have a tissue on their face(ya a tissue), a Halloween mask, a shirt over their mouth. Once they are inside the gym you are free take it off once you reach the machine. I signed up last week and have gone 5 times; i was not stopped or spoken to 1 time about not wearing a mask. On my last day being a member(today) I was told i have to have a mask on. I said no thanks and went on my way. The police were called and i was told to leave the building.Speaking with management:The manager told me they are only follow the rules that were handed down from corporate. I asked him for the list of rules where it states, what kind of mask, the proper way to wear the mask and in what areas it was required to be worn. He told me he does not have one to give me. (after telling me tons of people complain about the same thing) I told him i wanted one to i can follow the rules correctly. I proceeded to tell him that his 1 sign Masks are required in this facility is not being followed by 80% of the members on the floor. Which he told me he is allowed to make his own rule up because he is management.I was discriminated the moment i walked in the door. My wife a few feet behind me did not get told 1 time to get a mask. The manager did not go find her on the floor to tell her to leave. Completely disregarded the (WOMAN).manager told me he was happy to remove my membership if i didnt like the rules. Told me My kinda of people, do this all the time. Proceeds to tell me im not changing anything by not wearing a mask. He said he may disagree with the rules but he needs the job and a paycheck.-The rules are not followed by all the employees.-The Displayed rules are not upheld in the gym-The Manager told me he didnt care that i have a medical condition that i can not be wearing a mask.-not wiping down the equipment used to sign me up.-Masks on chins or below noseI will not give my money to a company and employees who say one thing and do another. Refuse to post rules, or have them on hand.Manager told me to go down the road to Fitness Project where they dont care about masks, I did exactly that! I was met with kindness and professional employees who explained masks only need to be worn well passing by the front desk.Wont be returning the Planet fitness again. I Will be calling corporate on their hypocrisy.

Its amazing how easy it is to join Planet Fitness and how difficult they make it cancel.If you happen to move out of the area and forget to go by in person to cancel, they will not accept an email from you to cancel even if you have all the necessary information. You will have to send a certified letter by mail stating that you want to cancel!Simply poor Customer service!!

I want to re-rate this facility with a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review and thank Ron. I’ve been going to this facility for about two months now, and on Dec 14, 2020 I used tanning room five. After a few weeks a realized my necklace was not with me. I checked all over my home, vehicle and work with no luck. I taught of calling Planet Fitness, but I figured after being so long and not sure I even lost it there, they probably didn’t keep. To my surprise I approached Ron Jan 4, 2021 and asked him, and he already knew, and handed me my Tiffany necklace. I’m so Thankful for his honesty. This was a gift from my husband, and replacing it, would of not been the same thrill as when I realized Planet Fitness had it. Thank you Ron!

Went in around ten pm tonight to tan and when I came in the girl behind the counter was cussing out her coworker and being really rude and aggressive towards her coworker. It was really akward and made me uncomfortable. She looked more conserned with being rude to her coworker than doing her job.

I love going here the price is reasonable and the tanning beds and massage beds are amazing and clean and the staff is really nice and helpful!

I needed to cancel this membership. I was told they could freeze the account and no payment would be taken from my account for 3 months. Then a few days later, my card was charged. I sent an email explaining what had happened and asking again to cancel the account. I just looked at my statement and guess who? Planet Fitness again. I am about to close my bank account because apparently they just lie and continue to take money. Terrible customer service, do not recommend using this gym.Now an update: Since freezing my membership, the yearly membership fee plus a $15 late fee has been debited from my account. I just found out today that even if your membership is frozen, the yearly fee comes out. I was not told this when I froze the membership, which resulted in a NSF fee of $38 to my bank account because I was told nothing would be taken out until November. I tried to cancel again today, was told someone unfroze the account and shown a signature I dont recognize as proof. Then it changed to the account was still frozen but the late fee came out due to the NSF status of the yearly fee. Still cant cancel because if its unfrozen now it will automatically charge me for this month. My son used the gym maybe 3 times and so far, that has cost more than $100. This place is a disgrace.

$10/mo billboard worked on me -then I learned of the perks of a $24.99membership and it is completely worth it. there is an annual fee that I believe is billed in April -still, this is worth the investment.

I asked to cancel my membership 2 days before the annual membership fee and was told it had to be before the 25th to not get charged the annual fee.I know this was in the agreement, but that doesnt make it right. You would think common sense would kick in and allow some grace since the club was closed for several months last year.

I spoke to someone last week about canceling my membership, and they didnt receive the letter I sent. The employee had checked with the manager and said I could do it over the phone. I called to do it, and the guy was rude about it saying they couldnt. I told him I talked to someone last week about it because I cant come up there and he hung up on me. Completely rude. I always had good visits there and that is not the way to treat members.

Revised: after almost a month coming to this gym with no issue I was not allowed to workout today because I was not wearing a mask. Why would why any sane person want to exercise with a mask on? The excuse? All the other Harris county locations are doing it This location is not part of Harris county!Through work and my apartment complex I have access to 2 completely free gyms so I havent paid for a membership in a while. Because of COVID19 both gyms I normally go use are closed so I was looking for a gym close to home that didnt break the bank. I settled for this location since is the closest PF to me. Sure, there are other gyms closer but after a lot of research I notice they all have all kinds of fees and long term contracts, which I didnt want. I signed up online and l was pleasantly surprised when I went to the location. This place is big and pretty well equipped. Although Ive been going during peak times, Ive never had to wait for a machine. Its busy but not packed. I can get my without without interruptions. Honestly, way better than I expected for a $10/month no contact gym.

Joined this gym a couple weeks ago. Very spacious. Well kept for a buildingcirculating with sweaty people. Appropriate a/c in my opinion. I enjoy the alcoves of equipment in addition to the main space. Not so much because I need the training guidance, but because there is an appreciated sense of privacy in those side rooms.The black card is worth it. I love being able to tan and bring a buddy to work out any time.My only complaint is that there are not spin style bikes. But thats a personal preference. They have two leisure bike styles and I wish one could be swapped for spin bikes. Id like to pop into a spin class every now and then.

I went in to try an workout and was told by manager I owe $64 which I do not. Showed him where money was taken out of account. This happens every month. Was told I can not workout untill I fix with home gym. Called home gym and they said my account is current. This shady manager tried to get money out of me he was probably going to pocket. Stay away from this gym.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness for six years. The staff are always smiling and keeping up the positive atmosphere of the gym. I am always well taking care of. Moreover, the atmosphere feels like a community of people trying to achieve a similar goal, which is to live a life of health and fitness! If you want to find a family- healthy environment, exercise classes, tanning, a luxury massage area, and a certified trainer on staff in a gym please do not pass up this opportunity. Planet Fitness is there to provide a place for you to achieve your goals and as always a place to support your life of health and fitness!

This location has really friendly staff and of course the black card amenities. They keep it very clean as well.It has basic equipment you can use to weight train but it does not have a variety quite like project fitness does. Depending on my muscle target I swap between the two. It is okay for leg day. I am only 51 so the calve machine they have does not work well for me as it does not adjust down enough to properly accommodatemy height. Project fitness has at least 3 for calves.. they had a good abdominal variety and other then that one machine they have most of the others.they have a lot of cardio equipment..More ellipticals then project fitness but fewer treadmills.The free weight area has a decent variety but it is always packed and very hard to get to the assisted barbells. They also dont have enough of the free weight benches.Otherwise it is a decent gym. It does not have childcare.

Staff here is actually not bad I had someone tell on me because I forgot to clean a machine . staff came to me like a true professional and I wasnt in the leadt offended Im impressed for sure by the staff thank you !

So happy to finally be back in the gym! Not I my do I get to stay in shape, but this place is like a soap opera! Especially amongst the employees. I wonder if they believe we all have our music in when they are talking about sleeping with each other. I also wonder how many of their significant others realize they are being cheated on. I hope the night guy’s wife doesn’t find out. I also hope the daytime blonde’s boyfriend doesn’t find out either. I need some popcorn when I come in this place. So if y’all want draaaamaaa, be sure to get a membership because this is just the staff, I haven’t even started on the other members.

I like the cleaning of equipment required and even after Covid is over I think it should be continued. I like the mix of people attending the gym, I dont feel intimidated and theres always plenty of space to work out. I like being able to bring a guest.

My only complaint is I told one of the staff that another person was taking forever on one of the machines in the full body circuit not doing the course and they told me to work around them instead of doing what they’re supposed to do. Besides that, my location is pretty good. Conroe TX.

I walked in without a mask. I was told that I needed a mask . I am ok with that; the frustration I have is with the the counter person told me the masks were a dollar : a .18 cent mask. Ok I gave him a dollar expecting a mask. He stated he could not take cash and He could charge it to my credit card on file. (no empathy, no concern of my experience) I did not join at that location so my card was not on file. No options except having to leave were given. I went to the restroom on my way out and counted a dozen people working out with out a mask????? No concern from counter man... Ill tell them to put it on....not my point...how about giving me a .18 cent mask and allowing me to work out.... I left... called the store from my car to speak to manager....not available. I have been a Customer for 10 months. Can not recommend this location... poorly trained. Looking for another GYM

Ironically Im a regular gym goer with multiple memberships and only at this Im stared down constantly, AC unit is consistently leaking over the past 2 weeks, and the toilets are always either blowing water out the toilet when it flushes onto everything you own, or has absolutely 0 pressure. There is no in between here. Best option is to get a membership when theyre on sale.

Vino treated me rude put me out and called police on me for NO REASON! I am a blackcard member. He should be fired. Now I am scared to go back in there. He humiliated me in front of the customers.

I like Planet Fitness as a company. I think the price is very well worth the membership. However, as someone who has worked in the hospitality business for a long time it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when an employee will not get off of her phone. As I was leaving this morning the red headed front desk associate was glued to her phone and when I said “have a nice day” she didn’t even look up from it. I know she heard me because she said “yeah, you too.”. The assistant manager is extremely knowledgeable and is always very personable. I hope the other associates can learn something from him because the majority of them act like it’s a chore when a member asks a question. I have never had an issue with the Humble location and if I lived closer I would stop going to the Conroe one all together.

I have genuinely enjoyed my membership here. It’s always clean, plenty of machines, never too crowded and the staff is always friendly and tentative. Massage beds are a plus. I have a second membership with another company but this is always my first choice. Definitely recommend and the price is great!
