We bought a 100+ year old house last year. Sedona Waterproofing Solutions came out to evaluate the crawl space while we were in the due diligence period of the purchase. Ive had crawlspace issues since Ive moved into my home. Initially this was a difficult decision for me to make. I have been a construction superintendent/PM for around a decade and have done everything on my house. I knew there were some water issues in my crawl space with surface mold on the joists. Sedona was recommended by my friend and said they did a great job on his house. I compared another number from a company you see a lot of commercials for on TV. Josh was right in line with the other company price wise, but had more scope in his bid. Josh recommended all the insulation under the house be taken out for mold remediation/abatement. The other company suggested only a spot treat was needed. Obviously I went with Sedona and am glad I did. Todd and Zach were an extension of Josh with professionalism and expertise. They pointed out some floor rot that is under the toilet in my half bath that wouldnt have been discovered with a spot treat. Its been about a week since the encapsulation. Todd was super nice and took extra time to determine the best design to help our water runoff problems. Our house was built on a crawl space in 1955. There is a natural slope to our back yard - toward the house. When it rains, all of the water runs off the hill and rushes to our foundation. For the past 15 years (since we moved there), moisture has been penetrating our wall, causing mold and fungus, and creating water problems under our house. I have always HATED going under there for anything. It was muddy, smelled bad, and ugly. I had to go in occasionally and change our air filter - but avoided it as long as I could.Recently, I noticed that the mud was getting so soft, our HVAC unit was sinking into the mud - among other problems with our piers sinking, etc. It was a mess under there. Worse than that, the floor in our den was fully rotting and sinking. When you walked into the den, the floor actually sloped down where the wood was collapsing under us.I called all the big basement dry companies and got estimates from them. After seeing a Sedona Truck on the road, I called them as well. They came out and crawled around all over our awful crawl space. They brought out photos, drawings and a comprehensive plan to address our extreme water issues.Sedona isnt as big as some of the other companies, and they are doing some things a little different. Their presentation on what they would do and how they would be doing it was superior. I was completely impressed with all they had to offer.We set a date to get started and they came out with a very professional and respectful crew. Todd is very knowledgeable and knows the industry better than anyone Ive met. Julian and Jake were in the dirt under the house for several days. Those guys and the rest of the team did a SPECTACULAR job of working under our house the entire time. They did a great job communicating with us what was going on and what their schedule would be.When they finished, I decided to go down and take a look. I had the surprise of my life. Our crawl space was now cleaner than the space above the floor. The temperature and humidity under there was exactly as it needed to be. The sump pump and the dehumidifier were both operating exactly as they should.They replaced the rotted subfloor in our den and lifted the floor back to level. Now we dont worry about our floor caving in any more. Such a good feeling.And the white liner they placed all along the ground and up the edges sealed everything completely. I am finally excited about going under the house. Heck, I might even camp under there now.Sedona did everything and more that they promised. We needed our crawl space to be free of mold and waterproofed. All mold was removed, a French drain installed, and a dehumidifier with drain line installed. The entire space was encapsulated to prevent future dampness problems as well as preventing rodents entering the space. Although weve just had this work completed, the workers, Carlos, Jeremy and Adam, appeared to do a thorough job and were receptive to any questions I might have had. They were prompt on arriving every day, and worked very hard. Update:9-10 months later everything looks great. I had a leak in the AC line and thought it might have been one of their lines and they came out and inspected the entire system at no cost. Thank you!!!!I shopped around literally four months and he’s guys were by far the best price by like 33-35% less. However, they offer more value and service than what I would have anticipated from any of their competitors. I had a relatively complicated installation with drains in multiple areas, multiple exit lines other things. They took a crawlspace with mold and crazy high humidity and transformed it into a lab environment with full encapsulation at a price comparable to others providing just a fraction of the services. And regarding the gentlemen who showed up and did the project, they were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and just amazing to deal with. I found Sedona on Home Advisor when our basement dehumidifier failed. This was a big problem, because we have a lot of household items and boxes in storage, and everything started to mildew quickly due to hot, humid weather. Sedona came right away and went to a lot of extra trouble to get a replacement installed quickly. Sedona Waterproofing Solutions, installed a French Drain in my back yard. I am very happy with the French Drain. We use to have a small pool in our back yard the children could not play out there until the water was going because of the mud when the yard was wet. We are so happy now with the French Drain it did the Job. No more mud and the children can play in the back yard now. The water drains to the French Drain now. They did a great Job ! Oh, the price is reasonable.

These guys are true Pros. Josh, the owner, came out to evaluate a drainage problem in our backyard and propose a solution. His two-man crew arrived about a week later to install it. Piping the runoff from a downspout in the area and installing a French drain system along the perimeter did the trick. His crew worked from 10:00 to 4:00 to complete the work in one day, and did everything by hand. Didnt severing a single one of the electrical, gas, or cable underground services marked through the area. But dont believe me, check the BBB -- not a single complaint.

I cant say enough good things about Josh and his company. I started digging a trench in my yard due to the neighbors runoff of water and no drainage. I dug it a foot deep and it was approximately 60 ft long. Well it rained and got to be too much for me not to mention I really didnt know what I was doing.
