I was very pleased with the services that BMC CAT provided. The job foreman showed up within a couple hours of contact and began accessing the job and requesting the necessary people and equipment. Those workers showed up and began doing the required tear outs and setting the their fans and dehumidifier to start the drying process. They removed all the debris and left the damaged areas clean. They took the wet chairs and rugs to their shop for cleaning. They came back over the weekend to check on progress. The men worked hard and quick and were very conscientious about protecting the undamaged areas. They made a very stressful situation better. I would very much recommend them.

It has been a long, stressful road since I discovered my house had a disastrous moisture problem in the crawlspace affecting the joists, framing and flooring above. Diamond Restoration damaged my sink cabinet & closet floor during water mitigation. Now they want to charge me for it & threatening to place a lien.Diamond Restoration took a piece of wood flooring from my upstairs as part of the process of matching the would you get an exact market price regarding the repair estimate. They initially told me that they would use a piece of flooring the removed from the downstairs floor. I was contacted after some time and was told that they threw all the flooring away and needed to come get a piece from the upstairs closet so the could send that piece in to have matched.Also, during the water mitigation, the removed the dishwasher. They failed to put a plug in the sink disposal, which is where the dishs washer drain goes, which was removed along with the dishwasher. Not realizing they failed to plug the disposal, we ran the sink faucet and water leaked inside the sink cabinet. Once I realized this, I contacted Diamond and they said they would repair the sink cabinet because it was their fault.I informed Diamond that we had the insurance check and are ready to give to them, and that we were using a different general contractor for the repairs, but needed to discuss putting this wood flooring piece back in the upstairs closet. I also said we need to discuss repairing the sink cabinet they damaged.Zach, the point of contact regarding the invoice and payment, said he would prepare an estimate to repair the sink. I informed him that it was their fault and they said they would fix it. He then tried to tell me it was included in the repair contract to repair they sink, which would mean that expense was included in the insurance check for the repairs. I cannot find this in the repair estimate.He also said the cost for replacing the the wood in my upstairs closet was $150 and was also including in the repair estimate. This is not in there either.Zach accused me of trying to shake him down for money. I told him I simply want to have fixed what they are obligated to fix. He then threatened to put a lien on the property.

Matt came to my house and checked an issue with a leak. He was very courteous, engaging, and knowledgeable. To start 2021, I have to give high praise for his professionalism. Thank you very much!!!!

Just had a big remodel job with Diamond and they are great! Troy was my project manager and is the best. He made sure things went smooth and were done right. Will, Jack and Mel did most of the work and were extremely nice and did excellent work. After being around these guys a lot I found that not only were they good at what they do but they were just good people. Would highly recommend this company for any remodel, fire, or water restoration job. Their work is superior to anything I have experienced.

Diamond Restoration did an amazing job on restoring our property after the main water supply hose to the toilet popped off. The Condo was flooded and the water flooded the Condo below as well. Diamond Restoration did an amazing job cleaning, drying, replacing and rebuilding everything back to its original state and the Condo looks better than ever. The reason I am giving 5 stars is not only because of the work that was done but because of the employees of the company. I had the pleasure of working with Troy and he took his time to explain everything to me, he laid everything out step by step and he never made me feel like I was a bother, even when I would ask him the same questions over and over. He really took his time to teach me the process of restoring the Condo and he even spoke directly to my insurance company for me when I could not get results. When ever I called he would get back to me with in a few minutes and was available any time of the day. The crew was polite, courteous, professional and very respectful. The ladies in the office are very sweet and they take the time to explain everything to you and they are extremely helpful. If you want great work done but more importantly a piece of mine in knowing you are working with A+ professionals, I highly recommend you give them a call.

Had a house fire. Jason was there the night of the fire and was fantastic. They completely gutted the house and rebuilt it. I had some concern that insurance wasnt enough to rebuild it. They reassured me it was and helped me make sure insurance covered it. Very pleased with the outcome. I admit at times I thought they were a little slow but overall they did an outstanding job. As I write this I am finding things wrong and they are standing behind their work and fixing things. Everyone we have dealt with has been very nice and ready to help. We suffered significant water damage to our home, and our insurance company recommended Diamond Restoration. We are 100% pleased with the work Diamond Restoration did. Absolutely everyone at Diamond was pleasant, courteous, and professional. Matt served as our project manager. He stayed on top of the job from start to finish. He checked on the progress of the repairs everyday - often twice a day. Matt (and the other workers) always called to alert us when they were on their way to our house. Matt answered all our questions and made sure the work was done to our total satisfaction. The initial clean-up was handled by Josh and Jacob. Both did an excellent job of getting the water removed and blowers installed. Quinton and Jack removed the furniture and took care to use proper padding so as not to damage or scratch any furniture. They took pictures to ensure that the furniture was placed in its original position when the job was completed. Quinton and Jacob carefully replaced the furniture and took time to apply felt pads to the legs of the dressers and bed posts to ensure the new floor was not scratched. Will and Tom handled the painting and cabinet repairs and trim work. We couldnt be more satisfied with the work these men did. Toms work on the cabinets showed first class craftsmanship. Diamond Restoration recommended Klutts Piano to remove and store my wifes treasured baby grand piano while the repairs were being made. The piano came back looking like new.Im not in the habit of writing reviews, but I believe the extremely high quality of work done by the individuals from Diamond Restoration deserves to be recognized.

This company is the best. Never have I ever deal with one that was so curious and friendly . These guys from movers to office associates were the best. Kept us up to date on everything and done an awesome job getting stuff back like it was. Great to work with.

Wish I could give them a half star! I would not recommend going to them for an emergency! Our house and our neighbors house was hit by a car in the middle of the night back in February. We were completely devastated and they took total advantage of us! When we recieved their bill for a simple board up with 3 sheets of wood it was almost $1,300!! That is literally all they did! They cleaned up a few pieces of debris that night and more of our neighbors the next day. We still find pieces of debris in our yard! They charged for the bracing that the fire department did the night of the accident! When I approached them for a partial refund because we believed we paid entirely too much, the office was completely rude to me and tried to accuse me of insurance fraud! They gave our neighbor a discount but refused to do the same for us and we had much less damage to our house. We were completely taken advantage of and I fully regret letting them patch up our house!

We, unfortunately, experienced a pipe burst in the kitchen wall that flooded our crawl space and subsequently damaged our new hardwoods, sub-floor and kitchen cabinets. Our insurance company recommended Diamond Restoration for hassle free repairs. A quick kitchen demo and a few weeks later our kitchen was fully restored to its original look and design. Zack and the guys were very attentive to detail, prompt in their response, and very professional. I would absolutely recommend Diamond Restoration for any home restoration needs.

I’m an employee with Diamond and I would suppose that most folks would find that as such any review I write would then be biased, be that as it may I am going to tell the truth concerning one of my project managers one Troy Sanders. I have never in all my years as a carpenter/electrician worked for a man who has consistently asked me to go beyond the scope of what the job entails and where I knew I was working at a loss for the company, yet Troy would ask me to go that extra mile because he didn’t feel comfortable with the limited scope that the insurance company would allow and pay for. I came to understand as time went by it wasn’t about the “money” it was about the people we were doing the work for who in my opinion Troy cared about more than how much money was being made on the job. Bottom line is that Troy cares more about the people he’s working for than what profit there is to be made at their expense.

The whole team at Diamond goes above and beyond your expectations when it comes to their quality of work and customer service. Their office staff are great to deal with in a time of need.

I dont know how in the hell anyone could give this company more than 1 star unless they are mentally challenged. I had two trees fall on my house and called them. They came into my home cut the wires on my stereo which was fine, stole my prescription medications, disconnected my washer and dryer. I had to call them twice to hook them back up, which they never did. I had to call them twice to tarp my roof, which they never did. They installed a new water heater and did not put a drain pan underneath it. They did shabby work, wall in my kitchen was damaged and they never fixed it and wall behind the bedroom dresser was not fixed right. I bumped into one of the employees in public , the dude was so wasted he did not even recognize me and was bumming for money. PLACE NEED TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS. No there was NO MIX UP THE DAMAGE WAS A WATER HEATER BUSTED , NO ONE ELSE DID THAT REPAIR AND WAS A SEPRATE CLAIM. THE 2ND CLAM WAS THE FALLEN TREES. AFTER THE MEDICATIONS DISAPPEARED I TOLD YOUR CREW TO LEAVE AND FIRED YOU! Then I hired someone else to do the repairs

Diamond restoration saved my life. I had water damage to my house through the crawl space and did not know it. There was mold in the foundation, kids getting sick and my family had to be out the house for a month due to this issue. Troy my project manager is the best. Troy was able to get with my insurance company adjuster lee and they both work miracles for my family and put us in a hotel while the house was repaired. They came the next day ripped all the tile out, the mold out of the house and completely did all the floors over in house, new carpet in the rooms. I was devasted and did not know what to do. Diamond restoration is the best in North Carolina when it comes to restoration and I will reccomend them to anyone who has water damage. Water Heater leak soaked carpet in basement bedroom. Troy came out that day and was extremely helpful. He checked for water damage and told me I was OK and did not try to sell me anything. Very professional and trustworthy. I plan to use him for some general contract work and would highly recommend.

Recently we had a leak behind our sink that completely saturated all the walls behind the cabinets and flooring underneath. Diamond Restoration accessed the damage and swiftly handled all the details with our insurance company. All our cabinets had to be completely removed, dried and complete repairs had to be done. We could not be more pleased with the results and professionalism.

I would highly recommend Diamond Restoration. We had a roof leak resulting in some major damage and had to have drywall repair, new paint and new hardwood flooring put in. They took care of everything every step of the way. Our insurance took forever to approve our claim and Zach from Diamond was very proactive and more on top of things than our insurance! All of the contractors that worked in our house were very polite, hardworking and cared about the quality of their work. Both Zach and Troy did an awesome job staying in touch with us and overall, we had an extremely positive experience working with them.

We had a refrigerator leak. Zach with Diamond Restoration came out the day we called. They did an awesome job removing the wet floor and walls, drying, rebuilding, re-tiling, and painting our kitchen and garage! We were concerned with having strangers in our house while we were gone, but their employees were kind, honest and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone. Besides their work being of highest quality, they were polite, prompt and very conscious of our comfort during the process. The floors in my 2 bathrooms (back to back) were sagging from long term water damage. Troy came out and estimated to correct the problem and remodel the 2 bathrooms. The price was good and I liked the fact Troy could estimate the job on his own (without calling in other people) and he would be the project manager.He did the work sequentially so we always had a working bathroom. They did a couple extra things within the estimate and so the final bill was exactly the original estimate which was good since it wasnt covered by insurance.Ive got another non-restoration project I may call them on if theyre interested.

Diamond replaced all the flooring in my house after a water leak badly damaged five rooms. They laid LVP in kitchen, dining area, living room, sun room, two bathrooms and laundry room, and carpeting in both bedrooms. They also repaired a door that had wood-rot damage, and installed a storm/screen door. I was happy with the work and with Troys communication and follow-up, and would recommend this company.

We had a dishwasher that leaked the day we put our house on the market. Zach came out the same day that I called Diamond. He was very professional, prompt and straightforward. I have never dealt with a more dishonest company. They constantly lied to me and my insurance company. Zero communication - Carol nor Troy would ever return my phone calls. I would take off work to meet contractors for appointments only to find out the appointments were never scheduled by Diamond. Save yourself the headache. Dont do business with these crooks.

About 2 years ago, we had a bathroom/sink leak, which ruined our entire lower flooring. We were referred to Diamond Restoration--from a list of preferred contractors via insurance our insurance company. They were prompt, courteous, professional and did a fantastic job restoring our home to its original state--even more so with new, upgraded flooring. A side note: We started with another company in the very beginning, and they wanted thousands out of pocket to install the flooring we chose. Diamond Restoration did the exact same flooring, for zero out of pocket. Fast forward 2 years, and the unthinkable happened. The downstairs toilet began to leak again. Thankfully we had a 3 year warranty with Diamond, so we contacted them right away. Zach got back to us immediately, and personally came over, within hours, to assess the damage. He advised if it was indeed a leak stemming from previous work, and not a new one, they would take care of it 100%. Luckily for us it was an original issue. Unfortunately, the floating floors we chose did not allow the toilet to properly seat on the wax seal, thus causing a slow leak each time it flushed. Zach advised they would cover all costs, as long as we chose a flooring that was solid, (tile, hard wood, linoleum etc.) Matt- our project manager-referred us to one of their flooring vendors. They had a lot to chose from. Erin was very helpful in narrowing down choices, offering her professional advice, and answering questions. We ended up going with a higher end ceramic tile. Diamond covered it 100%. Matt was available 24/7 and kept us informed throughout the renovations.He was awesome to worth with. All of the workers we have dealt with at Diamond do exceptional work and are very nice. We have had nothing but great experiences with Diamond Restoration. And if you have ever worked with any type of contractors, that is truly a rarity. They do an awesome job and stand behind their work 100%. It is hard to find companies that do a good job the 1st time around, let alone a 2nd time. We would highly recommend using Diamond Restoration.

I highly recommend Diamond Restoration! We had severe water heater upstairs leak, which flooded the kitchen and most of the bottom floor of the house with water. I contacted my insurance adjuster, and within an hour Diamond was on the scene setting up dehumidifiers and blowers. They did an outstanding job of repairing the damage to the house, and most importantly, in my opinion, constantly communicating what was going on with us. All of their staff were extremely professional, and we had no problem with them being on the premises while we were not there. Everything has since been returned to better-than-original condition. We would definitely use their services in the unfortunate event we were required to. Again, we highly recommend Diamond Restorations of Charlotte!

Couldnt have asked for anything better. Project manager Troy, Will, and the rest of the crew did an outstanding job repairing walls, ceiling, carpet after a leak in the attic that damaged upstairs and came through the kitchen ceiling. They cleaned up after themselves every day during the 2 weeks it took to complete all the repairs.

I had a very confusing and chaotic experience with this company.I looked up this company online and thought I would give them a call to see if they can help with my dads house. I called and spoke a young lady and she said she will look into this and call me back. An hour later, I got a call back from this woman who said that look...we are not going to help you because your insurance company does not pay enough. This was completely disrespectful and incompetent. I will never call back and if I were a customer, going though a traumatic experience as I am. I would not contact them either, unless you flash them a lot of money.

Our house caught fire and was almost a total loss and had to be completely rebuilt. When Diamond Restoration arrived to give us an estimate for our house reconstruction, they came prepared with pad, pencil, camera and tape measure. They took extensive pictures of every aspect of what was left of our house. They had a plastic portfolio that described the company and their services and had an extensive reference list.They did not have high pressure sales techniques but explained that they would rebuild our home and would work with the insurance company as necessary to rebuild our home to its pre-fire condition. We met Carol, the owner and Zach.We were assigned Troy Souders as the project manager. He kept us informed throughout the process of what would happen next. He was available for questions and met with us often to discuss the progress. Any concerns we had were promptly taken care of by Troy. Some adjustments needed to be made to the insurance company estimate and Troy handled all of that.We would recommend Diamond Restoration to anyone in this situation.

After a tenant moved out of home our property manager discovered major water damage which required repairing walls and replacing the hardwood floors. Diamond was in there assessing the damage, sending pictures for me to review and walking me through every step of the way.They turned the repair around exactly when they said they would and the new tenants moved in without any delay.I could not have asked for a better experience.

We had a extensive leak before a graduation party, the guys came out in forces 1.5 hours after we called the insurance agency. They were very concerned about getting things in order before the big event, they worked late into the evening. They removed cleaned the damaged carpet, drywall, and baseboard and then sanitized in record time so the drying process could begin. Each set of workers, the demolition crew, the trim guy, the sheetrock guy, the plumber, the painter, and the project manager, were the most courteous people. They called with a timeframe each day before they arrived, they always left the house neat, and they were patient and friendly to our family all while doing quality, professional work. We couldnt be more pleased with the results.

Great experience with Diamond Restoration today. JAck called ahead, arrived on time and dis an incredible job assessing leak, treating mold, replacing molding, matching paint and painting! WIsh I had known about this company prior to calling a general contractor who charges significant dollars just to remove a few panels of siding. JAcks repair visit was preceded by Troy visiting and researching problem, Kudos to both gentlemen and their company.

Called about a water leak in the wall from my AC unit and finally got a call back after 4 hours and they sent someone out. The guy just kept asking me what did the other company say that came out before him and then would say yea that sound right blah blah blah. He then promised me a quote by the end of the day. I waited 3 days and never received it so gave him a call back and never got an answer.I ended up going with another service because I didnt find his way of handling my issue/corcern professional therefore I didnt want to trust them fixing my wall and the mold/mildew problem if they couldnt even fall through with just calling back.

I recently had a water pipe break in my kitchen which ended up causing major water damage to my kitchen, dining room, hallway, living room and master bedroom. It was 8:00pm and I had to call a plumber who referred me to Diamond Restoration. The team at Diamond Restoration arrived promptly and acted quickly to prevent any additional damage from occurring. They were in my home until 1:30 am making sure everything was in place to insure adequate drying of my floors, walls, carpets and cabinets. Carol and Zach are true professionals - as well as all the repairmen they hired - to handle all the repairs necessary to put my home back together. They are friendly, professional, knowledgable and compassionate people who handled a sudden disaster in my home as if it were in there own. I felt confident that they would make things right quickly and with as little disruption in my schedule as possible -- which is exactly what they did :) I would definitely recommend them to firends and family!

Awesome company the BEST hands down

Backstory: We hung an item on our wall 6 months ago using drywall screw anchors. Upon drilling the holes we unknowingly punctured a drain pipe to the upstairs bathroom. The screw anchors prevented us from seeing the holes or the leak that incurred for about 5-6 months. Two days before Christmas, we found a puddle of water in the floor and realized there was a leak. We got the pipe repaired and thought we could repair the hole in the wall ourselves. However, after making a hole larger than 18X12 and still seeing damage, we decided to call in professionals.We called Diamond Restoration on Christmas Eve morning...a representative came out within the hour to assess the damage. She looked at our wall, gave us a price estimate based on what she could see, and scheduled someone to come out on Dec 26th. Then before leaving, she covered the hole in plastic, sprayed some chemical to treat the mold and swept up under the hole (it was a mess we had made, but she wanted to make sure she got any mold out of the house...she even had another employee bring out a bottle of cleaner to get it done that day). Luckily, for us we live very close to their location, and this was done very quickly, which enabled us to get back to things we needed to do on Christmas Eve.On the 26th, two gentlemen came to remove the moldy drywall and see if there was any further damage under the house. They did not see any, but could see where the water was leaking in the crawlspace and sprayed/painted to prevent any possible mold growth in the future. The hole they cut ended up being at least 5 high and the length of the wall about 4-5 feet. They had to remove the baseboard and part of the molding around a doorway.On the 30th we received a quote for the work preformed and the work left to do. It was $300 under what we had been verbally quoted...partly because there was no damage under the house. Still, coming in under made us happy.On the 31st a gentleman came out in the afternoon to put up new drywall. He did a fantastic job, was very quick, and very professional. He needed to allow the drywall time to dry, so he came back on Jan 2nd to finish the job. He used paint from what we had saved from painting the kitchen previously. He also painted and attached the doorframe and baseboard. When he got finished, you couldnt even tell where the drywall had been removed. There was some discussion over whether the baseboard should be cut or not to allow the vent cover for an air duct to fit properly. He left it, but we discovered later that evening that it needed to be cut, so we call Diamond Restoration to see if they could come back and do it.They said they would, but between our phone call and them having a chance to fit us into their schedule, a cold snap came through the area. Diamond Restoration called and explained that they had gotten slammed with calls about busted pipes from the weather. They asked if we could push out getting the baseboard fixed. We completely understood, and they said they would call back when they had an opening. Two days later, they called just to let us know they were still busy, but hadnt forgot about us. Again we had no problem with that because we knew our repair was just cosmetic in nature.Finally, on Jan 15th, the drywall gentleman and a coworker came out to finish the baseboard, which had needed to be cut to put the vent cover back on flush. They just left and it looks great!! On top of everyones professionalism, they were also very kind to our dogs and considerate to the baby sleeping upstairs - small gestures but they meant a lot to us. Overall, we hope we never need to use this type of service again, but if we do we know to call Diamond Restoration!!

We were referred to Diamond Restoration in response to a kitchen pipe flood that ruined our original hardwood floors (over 40 years) old. We had to have a major renovation of our kitchen (including lower cabinets, floor, counter top, and painting) and bathroom (tile floor, painting, tub resurface). Diamond was very responsive, following up within 24 hours of our call to the company. Our renovation was three months long, but Diamonds staff was very professional and responsive, including the project manager to the specialized staff (e.g. plumbing, cabinetry, hardwood floor installation, etc.)
