The previous home owner had contracted this company to replace the glass in an octagon window. After speaking with other window companies there is gas between the glass that wasnt replaced and the seal was done poorly. During winter condensation builds up between the glass and leaks down the wall and into the subfloor. I contacted the owner Herb Jones to take a look and he basically said he has no idea and left us without an answer of he would take any responsibility in the poor repair. Almost 3 weeks has passed, I have called and not heard back. I would not recommend using them to repair your window. We also had several roof companies out to verify the leak wasnt coming from there. UPDATE! Your roofing specialists determined that from a few pictures that you took? Notice how there is no way it was bad replacement. I understand that you dont want to take responsibility. We are having a reputable window company replace the entire window. Thanks Herb and United Window for costing me $1500. Also there was clear water damage around the window frame.

This is a very friendly, professional, reasonably priced company. They can do custom design mirrors, shower doors, and fix all components of most windows, and if it is beyond repair, they can replace the whole window! Patio doors, cabinet door glass, entry doors and shelving, they can even replace window screens. Dont hesitate to do business with them.

Ive gone through 5 or more shower door Co and have found that United window has good prices and excellent service. They have raised the bar.

Horrible experience. When I purchased new windows from United Windows, they installed the windows and then left before sealing all of the windows and finishing the job.Each window had sizable gaps/openings on the sides and bottom. See attached photos. When I asked how we could solve the problem and rectify the situation, I was told that I would need to perform the manual labor to fix the windows myself. When I refused to pay the last small portion of the contract, United Windows threated to sue me if the full amount wasnt paid within 3 days.After weeks of arguing and dealing with legal threats from United Windows, they finally decided to come back and finish the job.When they came back, it only took about 2 hours for them to finish sealing the windows. I still dont know why it took 3 weeks of arguing and legal threats for them to simply finish the job.This was in the middle of November, so I had to deal with cold drafty windows for around 3 weeks.If you value your time and money, you will want to get your windows elsewhere.Dealing with United Windows was a nightmare from beginning to end.

United Window is a wonderful company with a gracious and friendly staff. I had all of my windows in my house replaced by them, and they did an amazing job! I will definitely go back to United Window for future jobs I need done. No matter what you need, just ask and they can figure it out for you and get it done. They also do shower doors, special and custom pieces of glass as well as mirrors. Cannot wait to go back to United Window for my next home endeavor!

United Window Inc. was both a great shopping and learning experience. The men who came to fix my lower floor windows were quick, efficient, and polite. As they would work, I would stand by and watch, just out of curiosity, and the gentlemen would actually explain their work as they went through the project and I learned a lot! When the workers were done, they cleaned up without leaving a single scrap and headed out much quicker than I had called off work for. The office ladies are helpful, kind, and easy to work with which made the scheduling process 10x easier than I have experienced with other companies in the past. Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend!

Researched glass companies around town and found this company to be the most reasonable price for glass I needed cut (project). The glass was cut quickly, accurately and with high quality. When I proceeded to use the glass, it was slightly off due to a mistake I made when providing measurements.... I was prepared to repurchase new glass and they made it right without charging me a second time. Friendly, professional, high quality. They put my satisfaction above their own bottom line.... 5 stars.

I asked to be contacted and they called once left a message and I tried for a week straight calling, leaving messages and even seeing messages were read and ignored me. Must not like money. Will never do business and will spread the word on how much I dislike this company.

I used United Window Company after receiving multiple quotes (6) on windows for a rental property and finding them to be the lowest. Just because they are the lowest does not mean the quality is not there. I found there staff pleasant and easy to deal with. It was less than 3 weeks from initial call to when the windows were installed. The new windows have cut down the energy bill significantly for my rentals and my tenants are extremely pleased. Thanks to Brent, Carmella, Brian for their superb service.

United Window has always been a pleasure to work with. Being a home builder, we have used them for many years for our custom shower doors and have had nothing but excellent products and service. Highly recommended. Will continue to use them many years to come.

Replaced every window in my 1920s house with United Window. The windows are solid and are what we asked for. The reason for the 2 rating is due to the last install the company did at my house. The windows were installed in winter - the men were at the house until almost 10pm in the evening doing the install (this was due to a scheduling mishap on their part). The installers did not have the right type of caulk that was to be used on the inside of the windows (as windows were to be painted). We didnt realize this until Spring, however, when we got around to painting the windows. Painting on top of caulk that is not made for painting looks horrible. I called and the installers came back out to re-caulk (actually just caulking over the existing caulk). They did this and left a huge mess behind - some of their supplies, a lot of dirt and dirty hands on walls that needed to be cleaned. They also forgot to do one room, which we didnt paint until much later (and noticed it still had the wrong type of caulk).Ive asked united window to make this right by reimbursing me a cleaning fee, and paying us for the inconvenience of having to recaulk our own windows. Theyve refused to do so (Ive asked for a minimal amount compared to the total Ive paid them in windows - basically less than 2% of what Ive paid them over the years.).United Window is more interested in their own profits than customer satisfaction. I believe their installers and management are unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone looking to replace windows or any other service they offer.

Would highly recommend United Window. I called to have a window glass replaced in my house, and had an estimate scheduled the following day. Herb Was very professional with his visit and new exactly what I needed to fix my problem. I can tell he has been doing it a long time

I had United Window replace a large window that was in a basement wall where the frame had been drywalled over during a remodeling project years earlier (ie. not an easy replacement job to do). They eventually had to break the window and tear apart the frame to get it out. Herb and the installation crew (Terry & Rick) did great job. They installed it in 20 degree weather and they still took their time to do it right. I would completely recommend them.

Definitely doesnt care about earning a customers business. Only one person can do certain orders and isnt available most of the time.

Had a window installed in September 16, and once completed they told me they would charge the debit card they had on file (i had another job completed a week or so earlier). They never charged the card, never sent an invoice, nothing. They called 8 months later saying I never paid for the job, they missed over the invoice months ago, and if I dont fork the $ over they will contact the credit bureau. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend
