Our family has used Schoedinger Funeral services for several members of our family. When my father passed away in 2008 they made the process which was very difficult very easy. My mother then went to Schoedinger and her arrangements. My mother passed away a couple weeks ago and we went to Schoedinger and worked with Kari to finalize her arrangments. The process was so easy and with just a few questions about my mother Kari wrote my mothers obituary which made that so easy on us. It doesnt seem to matter if you know a loved one is going to pass or not it is still a very emotional and hard process to go through. With Kari and Shoedingers help it made it much easier on our family.

Everyone was so nice.Schoedinger took good care of both my parents. No pressure to buy any specific funeral packages.Answered all my questions and suggested things I had not thought about. Very nice when came to take mom late at night into their care.Also have had my pets cremated with them,very nice and cared about then too.

Everyone at the Schoedinger East Chapel were professional, caring and gracious.They walked me through the terrible loss of my wife and I knew that they cared for me. Our mother passed in April and my sisters and I contacted Schoedinger Funeral Home on E. Livingston to help us with the arrangements. The entire staff was efficient and professional about every step of the process. Their care and concern made a very sad, difficult day so much easier for family and friends. Kari, Hannah, Rob and all the staff are excellent at what they do in what can often be a difficult line of work.I was also impressed that Schoedinger and staff have sent several messages over last couple weeks checking on how the family is doing now and providing information on handling the grief process and it’s aftermath.

When my cat Precious died, all the staff treated my cat and my family with the highest respect and dignity!! From the staff at the facility downtown to the East Chapel, they are so compassionate and caring and loving!!! The whole staff is awesome!!! I want to say this funeral home gets my 110 percent respect. With the struggle of the fact of losing my mother out of surprise Mark sat with my family and I and gave us time and patience. He not once made us feel like we were suffocated and rushed on making any decisions on dates time of showing urn styles or nothing. He even typed up the obituary sent us rough draft anything we wanted to add he added it resent the draft to us for approval. I had to go to this funeral several times for questions and to finalize things with an appointment or not they always put me first and got the job done. During the showing they was three associates there making sure my mother looked great making sure that if I wanted to order memorial candles and extra videos they got it done. I even wanted an angel peice for my mother roses peices and it was back ordered but the minute it came available they still made sure I received one. They reached out multiple times and still do to check in on me and see how Im doing. Paperwork was super easy they filled it all out all I had to do was tell them what I wanted. Thank you guys for all of your hard work dedication love and compassion that you had put into my mother funeral. It truly was just an amazing viewing and I couldnt ask for anything better. I have full faith that each and everyone of you funeral associates are in the right role in life.

Schoedinger was very sweet to me when I was in my darkest place , having just lost my mother...They made everything really easy for me and handed a lot of the paperwork for me that needs to be done..They’ve also reached out more than once checking on me, making sure I’m ok. They’ve been an excellent service for me ❤️

Through the most difficult time in my life the staff was very patient and kind. They took great care with everything and captured every detail. My daddy passed away in Jan of this year, it has been extremely over whelming for my entire family. We took my dad to Schoedinger and we were taken care of by Hannah and Bailey, they were great they did everything for my mother and made a horrible time for my family more manageable. Its hard going thru anything like this but they were very understanding and allowed us to take our time in making those hard decisions. I would like to thank them also for everything they did to make this situation a little easier to deal with, and nice that they did everything for us.

I was very pleased with Schoedinger’s service. Their mortician (makeup artist) had my mother appearing very nice. The staff was very accommodating. The very supportive young lady who accompanied me with the cremation went above and beyond with support. I believe my mother was sent away with dignity!!!!

My husband of 42 years passed away unexpectedly of Covid 19. I felt totally lost. He did tell me he wanted to be cremated. I had no idea where to start to make arrangements. My family always has used Schoedinger so I gave them a call. I had this wonderful young lady who held my hand and walked me thru all the arrangements - Bailey. She was so helpful and compassionate- just what I needed at the worst time of my life. My head was spinning with so many thoughts but Bailey kept me on track. I have had the occasion to have Schoedinger officiate celebrations of life for 3 family members over years. I must say the attention and care by which they handle the services with expert professionalism, sensitivity and detail are above imagination. During a time of grief there are so many emotions and demands on the family. All of the individuals involved in my specific needs at Schoedinger were always on target. Many times they had already DONE things I needed BEFORE being asked. I could give numerous details of them expertly perceiving my needs and executing them taking a weight OFF me......I was so impressed with Schoedingers performance I decided to do MY funeral planning so my family would have very little work to do when this time came. They listened to my needs, desires, concerns and thoughts. At the end of our meeting I felt completely satisfied.
