I had a computer issue that at first I took to Best Buy. They were going to charge an outrageous price, with no guarantee that the problem would be resolved. I took the computer to Krazy Kennys and they were able to provide a work around. My computer is fully functional with this solution. Best Buy did not even offer a work around. Customer service was excellent, and I highly recommend this place for all your computer needs.

Great guys was about to buy a computer there but I just didnt have enough money, otherwise would have been happy to buy!

After being suggested this company, I expected better customer service and overall experience, but that wasnt the case. First, I looked around the store to see what monitor I wanted. After checking out a monitor and calling the company to verify the warranty, the lady at the front tried to sell me another monitor. Hmm. No! I reiterated calling about the other monitor we were initially exploring. Her response, You didnt purchase the computer yet, and they all have the same SKU. My response, That makes no sense since I referenced the serial number on the original monitor. She did allow me to purchase that monitor, but that was the start of a downward spiral. After buying everything needed to connect the monitor to my laptop, I took it home only to have numerous challenges within hours. It went from working to a screen flickering to contacting customer service due to the screen not being a touch screen, and the list continues. I failed to mention that when I originally purchased the monitor, I was told I needed to get a driver installed.Okay with that, she further says, Youll need to buy additional software to keep the touchscreen after the trial. Wait! What did I pay for, and why wasnt I told that at the beginning of this transaction? Her response, I didnt know. Interesting! I had to take the monitor back due to a diagnostic test not being completed and all the other challenges mentioned prior. Over this whole situation, I wanted to return the computer, but it was then that she informed me I would be charged a 15% restocking fee due to her not experiencing or noticing any defects. Seriously? She does offer me getting another monitor, and I didnt want to do that until she said, We cant credit your debit card; well send you a check. As the irritation begins to set in, I try to maintain myself. She tells me that theyve recently received an Apple display monitor. Wondering the condition, I asked questions to the supposed Apple Specialist. First, he had NO MASK ON, which was a primary concern since they have a sign REQUIRING everyone to wear a mask; yet, an employee wasnt doing that himself. I purchased the Apple monitor fast-forwarding this story, and here it is a week later, and Im still having problems.I would strongly suggest looking around for ANY OTHER place before interacting with this company. The customer service wasnt the best, the quality of their monitors isnt right, and just the overall experience wasnt pleasant.

I met THE krazy Kenny himself which I thought was kinda cool, I had been in and out of the store for several days eyeing one particular laptop. Krazy Kenny sold me on it and I have had nothing but problems with this computer since the day I bought it. I’m pretty tech savvy for an old man and I’ve done just about everything I can to revive this computer. They sold me a lemon and I’m still trying to make it work to this day (with no luck).This isn’t a bad place but definitely be careful of what you get from here. It’s the thrift store of electronics.

I would never take anything to them to fix again. First I was told someone will give you a call when we are done three weeks went by and no call so I called to see what was going on then they tell me they fixed the problem but then it stopped working so they would try again and call me and no call nor was they able to fix the problem. I wouldnt recommend anyone take anything to them to fix they do bad business flat out.

They were very polite, not sure whats up with the complaints about them being rude. A lot of equipment was a little dated, but if youre looking for brand new equipment, this probably isnt the type of store you should be browsing. Seems to be more of a second hand shop, and the deals were great (they even beat Craigslist in pricing). Will definitely be back next time I need anything. I was skeptical with all the negative reviews, but I was actually really impressed and had a positive experience.

A scam. They fix broken computers and sell them. They also have the worst customer service ever. They tell you one thing & do the opposite. The local business around even told me not to go back because they were scammed before. Terrible company. They are rude as well ! Youre better off going through a big company instead because 9/10 this company is overcharging you or charging you the same price as high tech professionals would.

Overpriced computer and charger broke after 3 days of using it

Been there a few times. Not overly impressed with the selections and like a lot of others have said, the stock was very dated. It was more like going to a yard sale than a PC store. I get it, there is a market for older parts to support an existing machine, but market yourself as that.

It took three times to try to return a damaged item, apparently only the manager can do returns. Although the recipient says there is a 15% restocking fee if you return something ONLY if the item is not defective. Well apparently it doesnt matter. I got charged a restocking fee even though the item I returned was damaged and was absolutely rude when I finally got to return the item. The only good thing about that store is the dog.

If I could give Krazy Kenny 0 stars I would.. I was having issues with my MacBook turning on and brought it to this place only because of the sign out front stating “free diagnostic testing.” .... HUGE MISTAKE. I received a call on Memorial Day from the store stating that they were unable to find any issues with the device. I picked it up a few days later and it worked for about a day before it went black again. I contacted the store and was told I would hear back from the manager. About 20 minutes later I got a call back from Kenny, who never let me get a word in, talking over me and being abrasive and extremely rude stating that he would not provide a refund and that he didn’t wish to talk to me unless I would bring the device in to be worked on further. Why would I work with the same business that wasn’t competent enough to find the issue the first time????Luckily I have USAA Bank and have been able to reach out to begin the process of having the charge disputed! Steer clear of this place. Poor etiquette, customer service and you literally pay for nothing. Common sense would say if you’re supposed to “fix” a device and you don’t you should reimburse the customer.

They offered me $150 🤣🤣🤣 the parts alone which I recently looked up on amazon totalled over $1200. I hear their repair service is great, but other than that dont waste your time . They have a bunch of cheap wholesale products that are very outdated. If they dont step their game up theyll be out of business soon. Meh 🤷🏽‍♂️

Tried to sell my old laptop. My little brother got me a new one for my birthday. The laptop had a few issues but it was operational. I walked in and asked if hed buy it. He said sure. He then went on to tell me that its in pretty bad shape before I even tell him whats wrong with it. I never even get the chance because he says You want some gas money for this? 15 bucks. 15 bucks for an operational laptop. I just bought a laptop from here today, and I like it, but theres one problem that I wasnt told about when I purchased it. It is fully charged and I go to unplug it and it shuts off and wont turn on anymore unless I plug it back in..

Why would you shop any where else? We were looking for a new desktop computer. After the rude treatment we recieved at a local computer chain store we decided to visit Custom Computer Warehouse. We had seen the crazy ads on TV and decided to drive across town to check them out. We were greeted by the owner, Kenny. He was very helpful with us in picking out not only a new computer but we got a laptop and curved screen TV. We decided to get everything that we did that day because of the GREAT prices and personal service we got from the owner. In his ads he says he is crazy. All I know is we found a genuine honest business man. What a great guy. What a great place to get all the cool stuff.P.S. my parents just got a new curve screen TV and sound bar from Kenny. His prices are so low. Maybe he truly is crazy. I urge everyone to shop and buy local.

My experience was excellent. My Microsoft Surface Pro 2 charger quit working much to my horror. No one in this city had any in stock but Krazy Kenny did have one. He let me test it before purchasing it too. I was much relieved because I need that Surface to study. Amazon will be able to get here in two days but I needed one now too. Even I called there this morning I was stressing but he reassured me they had one in stock. They were very nice to me.

I took a friend in to purchase a laptop and she is thrilled with her used laptop. My mother purchased a brand new laptop and she is thrilled. Bought a supposed brand new chromebook for my sons birthday. I drove 30+ minutes to go pick it up. Got home with it to only realize it was not only, NOT NEW but the screen had a crack in the bottom AND... The charger they gave me for it... DID NOT EVEN GO TO IT!!!! WTH? I didnt have the time to return it because my sons party was the same day I picked it up. (It took several days for them to have it delivered to the store) So im going to contact them and see what happens.... Wish me luck!

Horrible place. Very dishonest! Me and my mother in law went here to purchase an ipad. We were told by the man And with long hair that the ipad we bought would play Netflix, access Facebook and games. He told us it wouldnt be able to access Youtube and that was ok. I told him that I just needed the tablet for Netflix and Facebook with games. He assured me repeatedly that it would be ok. He lied! The tablet will not even download NetflixApp. I asked my husband to return it for me, since we followed the return guidelines on the receipt. They claimed I was lying and the seller never said that. Also they stated they dont accept used returns, NO WHERE does it say that on the receipt. I have reported this to the BBB. That is lying and not following their own companies policy.

The owner and the tech did a great job setting up a custom laptop for me. They worked diligently to make sure I got exactly what I needed. I appreciate the hard word they do. I will be back and refer to others.

My Father and I go there all the time because he is The I.T. Guy LLC. And he gets all his parts , components, equipment, and support from them. After I got a laptop from those Geek people, and within less then a week the laptop stopped working and come to find out they sold me a new laptop but it truly was reconditioned and the mother board fried. My dad told me about Krazy Kenny so we went and I am happy to say that I bought a laptop for school and it had more on it then the one I returned to the other guys. Also, it was $1000.00 less then those Geeks and with more memory, hard drive, and bigger screen, Oh, Yes! I am very happy my father took me there!

My laptop quit working just before my second semester of college started. I traveled to many computer and electronics stores before I heard about Custom Computer Warehouse and their staff was by far the most knowledgable. They were able to diagnose my computer and determine that a replacement was the best option. I was back up and running within 3 days and they even transferred everything I need for school (not to mention they save me a bundle of money)! These guys are great!

This man is a complete thief and a fraud. I took a lap top and a tablet to be repaired and he told me he could not fix my lap top, but wanted to sell me another. I refused that purchase and when I asked for both my lap top and my tablet to be returned, he refused to return my tablet saying that this covered the cost of the work done on the laptop he said he was unable to repair. I was broke at the time, with just enough to cover the quote for the repairs he said he would perform. I was a student with no way of being able to work without my computer. He stole my tablet, and refused to give me the laptop. I walked away heartbroken that someone could be so unethical. I did in time buy a new laptop, but please do not be complicit in this mans crimes. He is a criminal.

Horrible place to go offered me 50 bucks for a 400 dollar set up after the guy burnt up the power supply saying it shot sparks out when he took it to the back no one go here.

I always come here for the minor parts and service I need. The prices are better than most major retailers, and they have been around for a long time. Not once have I ever been disappointed with the products and service that I receive.

Walked in just to browse and see what kind of products they had. First time in the store. Was walking near the back of the store looking at products near office doors and counters and was yelled at by the owner. He was very rude. As we walked out we were told to never come back to the store. Judging by other reviews, he is like this with most customers. Highly recommended to stay away.

I am an IT tech and decided to test this store out like i do with most stores that called them self techies. If you can google a solution and fix it yourself, you now have more knowledge and experience than these people. Or you could just find me and Ill fix the problem. Ill be the one standing out front fixing things out of my trunk. See you their. Lol

Bought an internal hard drive for my laptop here. I knew the specifics of the hardware I wanted but they didnt have the piece available. The associate and the owner assured me that a different hd they had in stock would work just as well. So I purchased it. I was then told that the hard drive I had just paid for wasnt even in stock but I could get it the following day!I went home, and found that the suggested hd by the associate wasnt compatible with my laptop. I called Computer Warehouse that same day and spoke with the owner, who told me that I could bring in my receipt and get a refund. However he said that he was going to charge a 20% restocking fee. They charged for a restocking fee for AN ITEM NOT EVEN IN STOCK! I was appalled and decided to keep it. I was determined not to give this company any more of my money.

Asked to get a quote on a build (got spec sheet from MicroCenter). Completely ignored what I wanted and tried pushing an oversized tower with inferior specs on me. All they were doing was matching price.Said they would work up a quote. Emailed several times and was finally simply told no they wouldnt do a quote.Will be sharing this to Facebook for broader exposure.

I built an amd athalon xp in when I was 14 as my first major purchase at this store and its still awesome

I brought my laptop to be looked at a week ago. I pretty much knew that my hard drive was dead, but figured Id have them check it out and see if they could at least retrieve the data. Was told by staff there was a diagnostic fee of $69.99, which I figured as much was standard, but wasnt prepared to pay it up front. He said if we figure out the problem and I authorize them to fix it, the diagnostic fee is waived. again, sounded pretty standard.I left my laptop there and 4 days later Kenny himself called me. He confirmed what I thought, that the hard drive was dead, but they couldnt retrieve the data. He advised could replace the HD for $79.99 and install Windows for $130 as my serial # for the OS had worn off, so legally they couldnt reinstall OS...again it made sense.So, I was thinking for $210 I would at least have my laptop back with a new hard drive and Windows 10. Right??? You would think...but he says I still have to charge you the diagnostic fee. I said for why? For what? I thought it was waived if I authorized them to do the repairs? He went on to explain in a very intentionally confusing way that it was for the labor to install Windows 10 and the original diagnostic fee was to determine the problem with the hard drive.So, I figured now were looking at close to $300 to get my laptop back, but then I remembered he had another newer used laptop in there for sale at about $340, maybe Id rather get that...he said ok Ill sell you that one and waive the diagnostic charge. I was thinking...ok...that sounds like a deal. He said great, but I get to keep your laptop...!!!What...???...Thanks...but no thanks. This dude makes the rules up as he goes and judging by the number of negative reviews its the norm for him. Im surprised hes still in business. Paid the diagnostic fee and got my laptop back. I took it to The Laptop Guy in Gahanna. They replaced the hard drive and retrieved the data for $175....$70 lesson

My name is Donald Jones. I bought a new AirLink wireless router from them. It was not working, I called the AirLink company and they told me it was not a working piece and to return it to where I got it. I brought it back today and they would not help me at all. I have been a loyal customer for 2 years now and they somehow couldnt find any of my past purchases OR this purchase. And it was not even a week ago that I had purchased this router. All I even wanted to do was trade it in but they wouldnt even trade for a working router . This is very bad customer service. Beware there are long lines at this store..long lines of people returning things. There was 2 customers within the 5 minutes I was in there returning non working items. MAKE SURE YOUR ITEM YOU PURCHASE IS WORKING BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE, SO YOU CAN AVOID THE SITUATION I AM IN AND NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I wanted to and felt that I needed to so I could hopefully warn others. .......and truthfully, maybe vent a tad. ;)First off, Im new in town and found out, spur of the moment, that I needed a monitor ASAP one day. I had planned to buy an entire new desktop setup but didnt have to time to research so I quickly looked online and saw Kennys Computer Warehouse. I talked to them and they said their monitors were $39.99 and up. Well the $39.99 choices were one teeny one, or the others that were in really horrible shape so unfortunately, due to my rush, I was basically stuck to purchase a scratched, juuuuust acceptable, hideously overpriced $59.99 monitor. I wanted to know the manufacture date because I couldnt tell on the back because there was a sticker over that area and I didnt want to be rude and start removing stickers (SHOULD HAVE!), so I asked the associate and was told it was 5 years old. (Silly and quite frankly stupid me for assuming that everyone is as honest as I am.)When I got home, I went ahead and peeled off the somewhat suspicious sticker on the back and to my surprise, saw the monitor was actually 12 years old!!!!! .....but thats nothing compared to the fact that when I got it home, it had two HUGE and very obvious large areas (2x2) of all black DEAD PIXELS! They either didnt test it in the least or didnt care and sold it anyway. I was definitely annoyed and bitter but thought even though its a hassel, Ill just return it since I VERY specifically asked what the return policy was. I was told that I had 10 days to bring it back. Turns out bring it back only mean exchange and likely for another piece of junk. There are NO RETURNS AT ALL, even in the 10 day period.Lesson(s) learned. I hope anyone reading this can learn from my experience.

So, after waiting 8 hours, for a vista load. I get a computer thats slow and has the battery life comparative, to a fruit fly. I had to call several times, for an update, regarding the length of time it was taking. On my final call, was told it was ready for pickup. Got there an hour later, only to wait in the store, for an additional 20 minutes. He gave me an old school usb mouse and a case, for my having to wait so long. only to be stuck, on a power cord. So much for portability. The lack of communication, the excuses, and the overal experience left me with regret. I wish I couldve given a better rating, but unless youre going in, with top dollar. I wouldnt waste your time. Just spend the extra few dollars, and go to walmart.

My sister and I recently took in our two year old laptop to sell it. when we first took it in the guy that helped us was very professional and told us the computer was in great condition and would have no issue with giving us what we wanted for it which was just $180 we payed $300 for it. Kenny calls the next day and tells us that there is no way were getting $180 for it it is a basic computer we probably got from walmart which was totally wrong and uncalled for we bought the laptop from bestbuy warranty and all. We go to pick it up and he begins arguing with my sister after she asks him out of curiosity what he was going to offer her he says just $80 and also lets her know that he would up the price to $190 when reselling it. He began to tell her he didnt need her laptop he wouldnt be using it. He was very unprofessional and horrible customer service we will never go back to his store.

Worst computer store ive ever been in. 90% of the stocked products are either sceond hand or 8yrs old still sealed. Prices are way overpriced on everything.I stopped here to check the place out and see if i could snag a good deal on some high static pressure 120mm fans. When i asked for 120mm case fans they handed me a generic no name clear led fan and said it was 16$ a fan i could buy on any other market or store for 4$ and was not a 4 pin fan it was a molex powered fan.I asked them about a price of a 29:1 lg ultrawide monitor they had no idea what they had them listed for then proceded to look them up on google. They then tell me its 399.99 when i found them for 189-299. This is supposed to be a custom pc warehouse that states to be 30-70% off retail store prices. The whole time i was there the store felt so over stocked with useless old tech. The store was unclean and was not set up very well. They had pc case boxes all over the place but none of them were in stock. The two cases they had in stock were 2nd hand/returned cases and they were asking over retail prices.Overall please stay away from this place do not waste your money here. Google helps and microcenter is only 15 minutes away.Im so glad i was able to help a mother who was there with her eager to build a pc son. She was lost and confused on what he needed/wanted. The owner and tech were way to busy with what ever the 2 other customers needed to even ask if she needed help. I pointed her into the right direction.
