I really enjoy getting my hair cut here. Taneal is fantastic and my regular. I have used other ladies there and they were just as good. It’s a relaxing environment that’s friendly and has good tunes. Definitely recommend.

My family and I have been going to the Polaris BlueStar location for something like 4yrs or so now. And by family I mean, my four sons - ages 15 to 25 as well as my grandson - almost 4yrs old.Over the years, the boys have had a number of the stylists cut their hair - all are great - but normally Dani is our stylist. For the grandson and myself, shes the only one we see. Always friendly. The cut is always the way I like it and I appreciate her extra care with a scalp massage during the wash and hot towel. Shes caring, makes you feel comfortable and for the grandson, shes one of the very few people hell sit still for and listen - he enjoys talking to her and sharing stories.The place is always clean, staff always friendly and its normally pretty busy - all good signs of a well run business. Highly recommend.

I love the upscale space and the quality of the old school barber shop short cut. Getting a clean shave on the back of your neck with a straight razor followed up with a hot towel is awesome. You can’t beat the old school shoulder massage at the end, it’s just so relaxing. I recommend Dani for your cut, she always does a great job and has a winning personality.

Been looking for a barber/stylist for quite a while. Can never find someone consistent at some of the more common places due to large turnover. As soon as I walked in I could tell the professionalism of this place. Manager was on-site and making sure customers were taken care of, lots of barbers/stylists, no wait. I was doing a radical style change and the new look is perfect. Mckenzie (sp?) did a great job. Very pleased w9th the entire experience.

After many years of trying dozens and looking for the one barbershop for me in the Columbus area, I have now trusted Dani with my hair for the last couple years. She consistently does a fantastic job and puts in the extra time and detail and strives to improve on the last to perfection. Shes always up to any challenge especially with my difficult hair type and highly proficient at fade styles. It’s a little pricey, but they do a great job. The entire staff works together to keep it clean. Using their online appointment service was a little tough to navigate at first, but I got it.I highly recommend it.

I’ve been coming to this shop for almost 10 years now and haven’t thought about going any place else. Tasha gives a great cut, and while that’s important, she’s even more friendly and fun to talk to. It’s been crazy how a place as big and successful as Blue Star has been can make you feel like family and that you’re the most important person in front of them. Tasha definitely does this, and so too so many of the staff.Cassie, who works the front desk, is one of those that makes you feel the same way. In 2020 where things are different, challenging, and at times, can be a little annoying, Cassie is always someone who is very professional but also makes you feel right at home and appreciated when you call in, check in, and leave.It’s a team effort all around, and I wouldn’t dream of going any place else.

The cut and service were great. COVID protocols were in order. As always I appreciate my stylist.

Love this place. We never get haircuts anywhere else. Dani is outstanding. Ive never had a bad experience with any of the stylists, but I and my wife both love getting our hair cut with Dani. She does excellent beard trims for me as well. Never rushes, always thorough, and very kind. She takes the time to answer your questions and makes you feel at home.

My sons first time at a barbershop and it was terrible. His hairline is so uneven, and she gave him a bowl cut! Not what I asked for. Im still in shock how bad his hair turned out. Even family members commented on how uneven his hair was:(. What a waste of almost $30.

They told me to come in on the phone and between my car and the door gave away my appt. Waited another 5 mins then got another stylist and she gave me the exact opposite of what I asked for and made me wait til she cut it where she wanted it before letting me tell her what I wanted. Outside of telling me what haircut what haircut I was giving she didnt say a word. Came home and shaved my head once I saw the uneven chunks cut in. Definitely not a 30 dollar haircut let alone experience. Do yourself a favor and save your money for someone who cares about you as a customer.

I’ve been getting my haircut by McKenzie B. Since I’ve moved to Columbus. She does a great job on a fade and is very nice and professional. She knows what I want done every time and makes sure it done perfectly.

For over 3 years now, Dani has been my barber and is by far the best Ive ever had. Always a perfect cut and exactly how I ask for it to be done. The best!

My regular barber wasnt available. With much anxiety I called Blue Star. With even more anxiety I sat there while a stranger touched my hair. It seemed like she took too long to cut some parts, and other parts way too quickly. The haircut seemed to drag on as my blood pressure crept toward unsafe levels. Finally it was over, because of the way I was sitting I wasnt able to see my hair until she turned me towards the mirror. It turned out all of my anxiety was unwarranted and my haircut turned out great. Id definitely return, IF my regular barber is ever unavailable again.Really great service and good cuts, my only real criticism is that I wasnt turned towards the mirror when I was getting my cut.

I’m not a “review” type person but Dezaré was great. She was really friendly and personable, and talented at her job. The haircut she gave me was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve had plenty of good experiences with other stylists at this location too but she really stood out.Adding on to my last here of standout experiences because Jacqui was also just the best. I couldn’t get in with Dezaré until next week (and I’m impatient) but Jacqui did such a great job. I love my haircut and she was very kind! Could not be happier with my experience.

When she’s not available the other staff have been terrific as well. My only frustration used to be that you couldn’t make an appointment, but they do online reservations now and it’s great!
