Had my first trip there the other day. Lived around this establishment a long time I never noticed it. The barber mr. Johnson. I cant remember his first name was awesome. Got to talk to a few people while I was waiting to get my haircut and would been regulars of his for a long time. The memorabilia in that Barbershop is incredible and so is the barber!

Floyd originally had hair down to his shoulders and a beard that was at least 6 inches from his chin. What an improvement!

Let me just tell you right now you wont find a better barbershop in Columbus, Ohio, or anywhere else in this great union of ours. I went in and immediately was greeted and felt extremely welcome even though I was new. The owner is a grade A guy, kind, caring, professional, and humble. This felt more like a community experience than a haircut. I left with a smile on my face and it really made my day. The haircut is awesome he did a great job, and on top of that he did it for half the price of any barbershop I have ever been to.

My boyfriend Tommy got his hair cut tonight by Mr. Johnson. It was by far one of the best experiences we have ever had. Not just at a barber shop but in general. Mr Johnson was one of the friendliest people we have ever met. The place is a blast from the past, showcasing numerous photos of old blues artists and had an awesome vibe. He did an amazing job on my boyfriends hair and we all talked the entire time about music. The craziest thing was when we asked how much he said $12!!! For a haircut! Unbeatable price. We will be back for sure! Five stars all day!

I had a great experience getting my hair cut here. Mr. Otis Johnson is a wonderful man who is always ready for conversation and personally gets to know his customers. I had gotten a recommendation to try this barber out by my father, and he remembered my father when I told him. Im not much for chatter, but I had no problem talking to Otis the entire time he was cutting my hair. He was even quick to answer my questions that I had. As I told Otis as I left, I will definitely be returning here from now on.

Otis Johnson is a fantastic Barber on top of being a fantastic individual. Otis is on a first name basis with everyone who walks in the door, introduces everyone to each other and always has a welcoming attitude and caring character. Ive come here for 12 years, ever sense hes opened his doors. He can do anything you need done, from a simple trim and clean up all the way to an old fashioned hot towel straight razor shave. Hes more than just a Barber, hes a great friend.

Just found my new Barber. The atmosphere embodies that classic barber shop feel. Otis and his patrons are friendly and great for conversation. My first time visiting and I felt like I had been going there for years. The hair cut was great and Otis even uses warm shaving cream and a straight blade to edge up the lines. Couldnt be happier.

When I get my hair cut and my beard trimmed, I want to know that the person sculpting my mane pays as much attention to detail as I do. It was easy to tell that Otis is dedicated to his craft and his customers. The cut was quick and intuitive to my requests. In addition, the care and skill applied to the straight razor gliding through warm shaving cream around the nape of my neck was unparalleled. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere welcoming. When you need your next haircut, you owe it to yourself to visit Otis.

This is the kind of place millinial youngsters were taken by their papas in the late 80s to get their first haircuts. Otis must have been doing this for a hundred years because this man is a timely perfectionist. Found my new barber.

By far the best barber experience you can have. Careful cut with ear/eyebrow trim, straightedge with warm shaving cream edge trim, warm towel clean off, talcum power finish, and pleasant conversation throughout! Different pomades and so on on request.
