Barney helped replace a mirror that was broken on my car. He was super friendly and gave a great price! I would definitely recommend going here if you need to get anything done.

I went in with a bumper that was detached and slightly broken. They were able to fix it and another issue in about 20 minutes. Since it was so quick, they didnt charge me at all. Not sure how many other mechanics/body work guys would do that, while also being helpful along the way. I also went in for a previous issue that they handled quickly, professionally and did a great job. Cant rate this place high enough.

After my first visit at Barneys body shop I had a gut feeling this is where I was going to be leaving my truck to get the work done. Jim took the time to walk me through the work required and then walk me through the estimate. But as any good consumer I proceeded to get 3 other estimates and still I knew where I wanted the work done. Picked up the truck today as promised it was completed and looks brand new.I would recommend Barneys body shop every time. Fairness, quality of work, timeliness, there is no better... thanks again!

Has some slight noticeable body damage to my car after a under the table fender bender. I needed some repairs to my wheel and rear bumper( I was holding my bumper on with duck tape😫)( could have been worse though) I brought it here. the service and prices were great. The owner is really nice and works with you on repairs. Got my car back in a few days and it looked as if nothing really happened/not noticeable) I would recommend this mechanic for repairs. The guy is great. He’s got himself a life long customer! 😄

Brought my bmw in for paint after a large scratch. The paint job done by Barney’s is 100% perfect. The price was also the cheapest from quotes gathered by 2 other competing shops.

I couldnt be happier with the service I received at Barneys Body Shop. Someone backed into my car and I needed a door replaced on my 2017 Honda CR-V. The service was quick, exactly the cost of the estimate and as a plus the customer service I received was phenomenal. As a young woman, with this being my first car, and with no one besides me to advocate for myself, I was apprehensive going to a Body Shop and worried that I would be treated poorly. However, I was treated with nothing but respect, courtesy and was spoken to like an equal. The owner even went out of his way to show me his car once he realised I enjoyed talking about cars. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I found this place in Victorian Village after getting a $900 estimate from another body shop, that my mechanic uncle though was unnecessary. They came back and quoted me $80 and a 30 minute repair. I gave them all the opportunities to look for more damage because I was in DISBELIEF! That the issue and repair was that much smaller! Jimmy stayed communicative and honest and super respectful and even did a little extra work for the 80 bucks! It was quick and fabulous and I highly recommend! Thanks a bunch!

My car was vandalized and the passenger side window/trim was completely destroyed. Decided to walk into Barneys and Jim took a look at the damage and gave me a quote in (literally) 5 minutes.Price was unbeatable, so i told him to go ahead and order the replacement parts. When the parts came in he gave me a call and I dropped the car off - 2 hours later the car was fixed and ready to pick up looking brand new.Definitely my most positive experience with an auto body shop and I highly recommend taking your vehicle here. Jim is a good guy who clearly has a ton of experience and passion for his job and his shop.

I recently had someone back into my car in the driveway and damage the hood. I got three estimates. Two were from well-known body shops/dealer body shops in the Sawmill area. $2300 and $3000. Both told me the cost would likely be higher because the frame was probably damaged. (I have 5mph bumpers and knew this wasnt the case.) They wanted to repaint the entire front end of the car for paint match and replace a lot of undamaged parts.I came home and Googled small body shop in Columbus and found Barneys, a family-owned business. I stopped by Barneys and told Jim, the owner, I was price conscious. Just as I told the other three body shops. Jim told me he thought he could bend the hood back because the damage was minimal. Otherwise, a new hood and paint would be $700. A far cry from the other estimates. I dropped the car off at the time he requested. Two hours later Jim called and said the car was finished. He was able to bend the hood back and it cost me $75. Not a typo. Visually you can see no imperfections.The body shop business is run by the corporate mafia. The overcharging and inflated estimates are everywhere. These corporate shops want big claims from insurance. And, society pays in the form of higher insurance premiums. No one cares because everyone is making money except the customer.Ive had this experience more than once. The whole concept of an individually-owned business where the owner does right by doing good and builds a business based on his integrity certainly isnt reflected by the corporations ruining this industry.This was one of the most decent and ethical things anyone has done for me in a long time. All future references and business will be going to Barneys Body Shop.

I went to Barney’s to get my horn fixed after my car had been stolen and crashed. I thought it would have to leave my car at the shop for a couple of days, but once the parts were in, it was fixed within an hour. I went in, expecting to be treated like a woman usually does in any male-dominated industry. However, I was very wrong and received the friendliest and most professional service I’ve ever gotten at a shop. I 100% recommend going to Barney’s for whatever bodywork your car needs it’s professional, good quality work that won’t drill a hole in your pocket.

I’ve been to Barney’s twice and every time he always give me very fair price and suggestions on how to fix my car. This time he saved me a couple hundreds dollars on my bumper again! I would definitely recommend his shop to my friends. Now I am moving to upper Arlington soon but if my car needs some fix in the future I’ll definitely come back again!

Had an amazing experience with Barneys. After receiving a $2,000 estimate elsewhere to fix a scrape on my rear bumper (from being rear ended), I took it here looking for a lower estimate, prepared to sacrifice quality for a lower cost. This was NOT the case.This place does AMAZING work for a great value! I can barely even tell my car had been in an accident. I am so so grateful to Barneys AND they got it done quickly.

A truck rear ended my car. I found Barneys on the BBB website where it is A+ rated and BBB accredited. Barneys worked well with my insurance company, did high quality work in a reasonable amount of time, was helpful and communicated well with me. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to a friend!

STOP! If you are looking on google for a repair or body shop and are confused where to go, STOP SEARCHING. This guy is amazing!! Honest, reasonable, and amazingly quick. A repair to my car door that I thought would cost me at least $1500 out of pocket ended up being a third of that!! Literally repaired immediately after the door came in and put back my high end speakers etc. He did the job perfectly, beyond anything I was expecting for that price. I am so happy!!!

Best place in Columbus. My daughter got into a fender bender 11-20-19 while visiting a friend in Columbus. Front tire was scrapping against fender and there was no way she could have drove home to Cleveland. I googled body shops close to where she was at and found this place with 5 stars. Called owner and he said bring it by asap. He was able to move fender/wheel well lining out of the way and secured everything in place. DIDNT EVEN CHARGE HER! I called him back and thanked him and his crew for helping us when we were really in need. Ordered a couple of pizzas and cookies from Dominos and had it sent over right away as a token of our appreciation. This guy is a real sweet heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please support his business as he is doing good for the community.

It is with utmost pleasure that I recommend doing business with Barney’s Auto Body Shop. A large truck reversed into my vehicle causing damage to the front bumper, hood, and fender. I took it to a few body shops around Columbus before going to Barney’s Body Shop, where Jim immediately reviewed the vehicle and ensured me that it could be fixed.I needed the car to be done in five days so I could leave town, and even though the repair was more than five days worth of work, Jim was able to prioritize my job to ensure that it got done on time. He also touched up the entire car, fixing scratches, small color splotches, and dents around the car. For this repair, the opposing party’s insurance was refusing to pay for a rental car over the weekend since I dropped it off at Barney’s on a Friday. Jim talked to the adjuster and ultimately worked with me to convince her to authorize the rental for the weekend!When I came back five days later to pick up the car, it looked like it was new! The quality of work was excellent, and the service was outstanding. I got into a fender bender today, and I am so glad I came into this little auto shop. I always get scared when getting auto-work done that mechanics will take advantage of the fact I know little about cars and overcharge me, but the worker at Barneys was super kind. He explained what the cost would be to replace my bumber and the estimated timeline for the fix. When I decided I was going to wait on fixing it untill I got home for spring break, he helped me pin-up my car and make it drive-able for the time-being (FOR FREE!). I highly recommend Barneys and plan to go back there if I ever need mechanic work in the area.

Family owned and run, Jim (the owner and grandson of the original owner) is an incredible guy who goes out of his way to take care of his customers and get their car back on the road in a timely manner. For example, yesterday he stayed an hour and a half after close (on a Friday mind you!) so that I wouldn’t be without my car over the weekend, and then he even hand washed it after finishing! His prices are fair and honestly, he’s just a wonderful overall human being, who will treat you as such, a human being, not just another customer like most auto repair places. Dealing with insurance companies can be a nightmare, Jim helps take a way the headache. Thank you sincerely and keep it up Jim!

They not only were extremely friendly, but had me fixed up DURING MY LUNCH BREAK, and was incredibly affordable. None of the typical mechanic upsell stuff either. Simple.
