I actually wish I could give them no stars. I was relocated here from my previous complex and i instantly had issues with the neighbors being nasty to one another. Its a very hostile and uncomfortable environment. Unfortunately, I had to make police reports and even talk to lawyers about harassment as I was being stalked/picked at by the community members. There are a bit of older ladies and single men here who seem to be bothered with a few younger people being here yet, they live in an apartment complex. My own property and relocating manager both told me I have been the 6th person to come to them about problems with the people here and how badly they treat new comers. They pointed me out and were clearly disturbed new people moved in. They taunted and yelled things at my company when they would be leaving my home. They went door to door to point me and my home out targeting me. Yet the office and property manager here did nothing to help me with the issue. Or let alone even make me feel heard and appreciated. I would never recommend this complex to anybody young or old. They generally are nasty and do not care about anyone here. The only good part are the two maintenance men and that is it.

Great staff and maintenance repairs fixed fast

Jessica & Danny & Jose ( maintenance )I’ve been here for roughly three months, So far my stay here has been wonderful zero complaints. Those three I mentioned have been great and have gone above and beyond. A few days ago Danny fixed my bathtub, And I’m sorry for his loss As well. As much as he was going through he made time to make my family laugh and smile. Jose as well ! He came today and did the same. Jessica is always sweet and welcoming & Pleasant. My family loves her especially my son. Thanks Alkire.

This place has always been helpful, Jessica has been so helpful with helping me transfer my apartment on my 2nd year here. Everytime I have any concerns they are quick to help! Love living here and plan to stay here , apartments are beautiful and renovated

Leasing office is unprofessional and rude. the units are overpriced (i pay $920 for a 1bedroom plus bills) and located right next to a very loud highway. most bedrooms are facing said highway, so bring earplugs! got broken into and it took a week for them to fix my door (i had to call and ask when they were coming to fix it because the door wouldn’t lock and i couldn’t stay there) and when the maintenance man came, he told me he got yelled at to fix it. i’m assuming he didn’t even know he had to fix it before he got yelled at. the grass is well kept but that’s about it, the area where my front door is at is infested with huge spiders, black wasps (and nests), old cobwebs.

I have lived in Alkire Glen since 2018, and ive rented a total of three different style apartments from them during my time here. I want to start by saying the very first thing that made me recognize how amazing this community is the property manager Anne. At the time I was prospectively looking to move into these apartments I shared with them my experience at my prior living community, and my experience here has been NOTHING like that. Knowing you have property managers that care and you can literally stop by the office just to chat with them and catch up is the best feeling. OH and I cant forget our maintenance men Donny and Mr. Jose, anything I need they help me take care of so quickly and they are so friendly, I literally have to stop my car and wave at them whenever I see them out and about in the complex- which is always, they make it a point to make sure they are accessible! Every transfer has been extremely easy for me, thanks to their help. Ive lived in the 1BR upstairs, 2BR townhome, and 1BR downstairs now. Ive loved each apartment SO MUCH for different reasons! The pool is beautiful, we just got an amazing gym, and I just cant put into words what living here has been like for me. Come find out for yourself! I love living at Alkire Glen, and I literally am their biggest spokesperson to all of my friends about this neighborhood.

Rent is kinda high and lots of hidden costs community billing ?

I have lived at alkire glen for nearly a year now. I love the lay out of the apartment, and maintenance is very good at getting things fixed quickly, however in the past month, more people have been moving in and i can see the neighborhood going downhill which makes me very sad. There are constantly people going in and out at all hours of the night, and not quietly i might add. There are police coming in and out almost every day now, couples fighting in the parking lot at night, dogs barking and owners not picking up after them. I love the ladies in the office and everything else is fine. I hope alkire can do something to keep the peace because like i said, before people starting moving in recently, it was a great peaceful community.

Nice place to live

Maintenance workers are very nice/helpful. The personal in the office should reconsider a new job because they screwed us over big time. Paid rent every month a day early each time and transferred to a town home then boom $1600.00 bill for rent when it was supposed to be $950.00. Screw this place!!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The front office is so unprofessional. They failed to communicate anything with us in regards to our bills, they sent our bill to debt collectors instead of telling us about it. I’m furious with how we were treated when we were staying there and after we left. We went without ac for majority of our year of living there and just kept getting told that they were waiting on other people and there was nothing they could do.

If you have the money for the annual increase and dont want to own your own home, then this is a good place for you. Just inspect it THOROUGHLY and document everything. One owner for many, many areas, if you dont like one, just ask for somewhere else.

Was ok gone down the last few years

Ive lived here for about 9 months now. The apartments and residents are very nice. Neighborhood is quiet and renovated frequently. The management is also very professional and friendly. Maintenance is almost always very quick and they get the job done correctly. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone!

First of all. I moved in summer of 2019 and my ac was broken. After 3 calls for maintenance they finally came out and just filled it with coolant. Every single week for 2 months I had to call and complain about the ac not working for them just to come and fill it with coolant again. I have two small children .. so I had to send them to a family members house at night because it was way too hot in the apartment for them.I was only in that apartment 9 months and gave a 60 day move out upon leaving. The communication between the office staff is HORRIBLE. No common curtesy to return calls.I moved out and I didn’t have the option for a walk through due to covid. I was told to leave my keys in the kitchen when I left. So I did.I moved out May 3. I received a bill from Alkire Glenn the week of the 11th stating the whole apartment needed repainted. I called the office and was told my call would be returned by Anne, and no one returned my call. I received a collection notice on May 29 for the charges for the paint which was around $280.Called the office and they just said Anne will call me back again. There was so pictures on file of the walls they had to “paint” and now I have a collection company coming for me 18 days from receiving this bill.I would never in my life recommend this apartment complex even to my worst enemy. Poor value, poor communication, and a RIP OFF. I’m so incredibly disappointed.

Its very Lovely

I have lived here since Aug and I absolutely love it! I havent had any issues at all. Great neighborhood, friendly people, no crime, close to everything and the apartments are beautiful!

Wifi caused unnecessary issues

Ive lived here for almost a year now and I love it. I have lived in many different apartments throughout the city and this one is by far the best. The office staff Ronnee and Amy are awesome and unlike most places they actually genuinely care about there tenants. Also the apartments are very well maintained and just overall beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend these apartments.

I really enjoyed living at this complex the past few years. I lived in a town home and it had great space. I love that pets are allowed, you cant hear too much from the highway, and I liked the backyard area. I always had great customer service with the staff (although I heard my neighbors didnt). They came and fixed everything within 24/48 hours if I needed it. I didnt experience any crime although I lived further from the section 8 housing nearby if that makes a difference. I would recommend living here for sure. The only reason were moving is to be closer to work.

I have lived here for 2 years and really love living in the community. Moving into one of the newly remodeled apartments in 3 more weeks when finished.

Cute community but they left a bad vibe with me b/c I called about a 2bedroom town home and they said it was still available and told me what all to bring when I come In and I even got a money order b/c I was so serious about moving in immediately, which they knew but long story short, I came in the next day and the unit I wanted was no longer available and didnt even think to let me know when they called to confirm If I was still coming in.

The new management is really good. The maintenance gets the job done in a very great speed. The new face lift makes the place look really good

Worst place Ive ever lived. Unprofessional and unorganized staff.

The staff is horrible and water was coming up through the floors and my unit due to the old maintenance supposedly. The problem eventually got fixed dont have a problem with the current maintenance staff just the office staff very unprofessional. We got a letter saying a neighbor complained that I was doing cartwheels outside in the winter and thats unacceptable behavior when I dont do cartwheelsand if I did I would not do them outside in the winter time

My only issue is the way they are not the best on communication back and they go through maintenance like changing underwear everyday. I am not comfortable with that. Also issues of car break ins we have asked for security step up. I lived at worse places but I feel they can do better for the people that live there

I been living here almost 7 months from hearing my downstairs neighbors having sex to hearing doors slammed back to back to a dog off the leash almost bite my girlfriend to hearing Columbus PD banging on doors with guns out I can say its a nice place to live if your looking for somewhere to move to for a year and move out 700 for a 1 bedroom not bad for someone who moved from Illinois

This is one of the nicest apartments that Ive lived in, and Ive lived in quite a few. While they are by no means ultra high end, like something you would find downtown, I was impressed by the cleanliness and workmanship. Usually mid-priced apartments look like they have been painted and repaired by a blind drunkard, but my unit was in immaculate shape. The neighbors left a little to be desired, but such is apartment living. I had a one bedroom, upstairs unit, and the cathedral ceilings really did a lot to enhance the look of the place. Plus, my unit at least was wired for data! No network cords running all over the place. Ive since moved out of state, into a luxury apartment that is far more expensive, but nowhere near as nice as my place at Alkire Glen.

When I first moved in almost 3 years ago I felt safe and comfortable, even while living alone when my husband deployed, lately, I dont feel comfortable at all.While I understand that you can find this type of activity anywhere, Im a little put off due to this activity all happening so recently.One Sunday evening in August, my dog was going crazy a little after midnight. I woke up to see what he was barking at when I heard a girl crying/screaming and a commotion outside. I peeked through my living room window to find a man choking and beating his pregnant wife. I immediately called 911 and went out to comfort the girl after shed been locked out without shoes or a phone and we waited over an hour for the CPD to come. Afterwards, I was advised that this guys family has a history of being violent, and I wasnt concerned until his mother found me on facebook. It was incredibly bizarre, and made me feel uncomfortable living there alone. He did end up moving a couple months later, but nonetheless, it was a long 2 months.A couple weeks after that neighbor moved out, I recieved new upstairs neighbors. Not only are they loud and have breed restricted pet with them in their apartment, but they also refuse to pick up after their dogs. They also will take up multiple parking spots with each vehicle, leaving little space for the other residents.Around this time I got a new neighbor facing my back patio. Really, my only issue with her is that she comes out every evening and yells as loudly as possible to call her kids in for dinner. Her kids, along with other kids from the neighborhood run around the complex making a ton of noise every evening, and with the thin walls in my apartment and the sounds of 270, I can never have a relaxing evening.My first 2 years living in this complex, I had great neighbors! Im not sure what happened although Im sure it has to do with how affordable the south-west side of town is and low income apartments being right next door.A few more minor complaints would be that the pool is disgusting. You cant take a swim without getting other peoples hair caught between your fingers (even at the beginning of the season), and families will hang out there all day, so keep that in mind if youre looking for some relaxing pool time. Also, if your upstairs neighbors are smoking pot in their bathroom and it funnels down into your apartment, the office cannot do a single thing other than send out a warning letter. Theyll advise you to talk to the officer in the complex, but he too will not do a single thing. Same goes for smoking. They have signs posted in the complex mentioning that it is a smoke free complex, but they do nothing to enforce it.I will add that the office ladies are very nice, but that is about the extent of my positive experience before leaving.Best of luck!
