Highly highly recommend A&J alterations in Columbia on Route 108!! Make sure you put in PARKRIDGE PLAZA or the Yoga Center of Columbia (it’s in the same building) into your GPS, so it takes you to their new correct location. The suite is on the first floor, the first door on the left when you walk in through the front entrance that say Parkridge Plaza.They did an amazing job hemming my bridesmaid dress. It looks perfect and is exactly how I asked it to be. I picked it up today exactly as scheduled :)This husband & wife team (Anna & Johnny) are also the sweetest and nicest people you will ever meet! They have a dressing room (bring the shoes you plan on wearing with your dress), so they can accurately take measurements. Mrs. Anna took her time pinning the hem, and you can tell she really cared about getting the measurements right and making sure it looks good.Don’t forget that payment methods are cash or check only. I’ll definitely be coming back here for all my alteration needs. Thank you!

Its been a while since Ive used their services because I moved out of state, but I had them alter many items for me when I lived there and they were excellent. They werent very fluent in English so they might come across as rude, but I never found them to be. I was very happy with the quality of their work and would recommend them to anyone.

This is not a professional tailor, its a typical dry cleaner tailor. I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed, length only. The dress has a mesh overlay and they didnt hem it to match the inside of the dress. When I went back they refused to fix it. Awful service!!! You guys suck!!

I recently lost 30 lbs and needed 3 pairs of capris taken in. They were very professional and even told me the price before pinning the clothes. I tried on each piece so I know I was getting a custom fit. Prices are a little expensive (I paid almost $60 total), but it is worth it! The fit is perfect and I cant even tell where they modified the clothes.They are cash/check only FYI. She was very understanding when I said I didnt have either on me. She said I could bring it the next day, but I went to an ATM to get the cash out right away. Great business!

I will let you know once I pick up my repaired garment. I did like the fact they said how they would approach the repair!
