Completely professional and empathetic during a crisisAnd then his winch snapped and he became stuck himself causing further issues. Called looking for a transmission. The lady (Charlie) kept saying she would call me back in just a minute. 1 1/2 days later and me calling several times, she finally says she has one. I just needed to pay for it and they would pull it off the shelf from the yard. I went and paid the next morning (Friday). She said they would have it ready in a bit for pickup. I called after lunch and not ready. I called back at 2:30 and still didn’t have it. I said I would be there at 8:00am Monday morning. Got there and still didn’t have it. Finally told me it was in Nashville. I asked for my $$ back and they said “no refunds”. After a few words were exchanged, I got my money back. Never again. Terrible service. Lied about the part being on site. Delayed my repairs by a week.

My car was towed there after a wreck. We were misled to believe they would purchase the vehicle. They kept dodging us until it wracked up a bunch of money in lot fees. Then they offer to swap the fees for the car. Seems dishonest. I would avoid dealing with them if possible.

They dont have a handle on their inventory. Wasted a trip based on bad information . Cant trust what they tell you over the phone. The yard has really gone down over the years.

Absolute horror, my car was towed there due to a wreck. My speaker system was stolen out of the car, my license plate was stolen, then when I paid for the auto repairs (parts where taken off the car) so paid almost $600 all together and I couldnt take the car off the lot. I was HIGHLY FRUSTRATED and still have not got the call where any of my belongings where found

Their wrecker driver was very polite and caring when he came to get our wrecked veichle. And when went to get stuff out he was very kind!! Highly recommend them!

They drug a perfectly running and rolling motorcycle onto their tow truck on its side. The bike was upright on its kickstand. The driver literally laid the $20,000 motorcycle on the pavement then drug it up on the rollback bed. They turned minor damage into major damage.

My truck broke down in Franklin TN the last week in Jan 2015, Transmission busted. Stoneys towed it in and replaced the transmission and clutch. It seemed like the work they had done, was professional, the bill came to $7,838.23after 21/2 months (April 8 2015) and 29,000 mi later, the drive shaft falls off in Louisville. On Site Truck Repair towed it in and pointed the finger to bolts that had gradually gotten lose by the transmission.I called Stoneys to give them heads-up and described the problem. first the lady I talked to said the truck should have had 3 pms in that period, (I do full service about every 15,000 mi, 1 grease in between) i told her the truck had been serviced and during that time the driveshaft didnt show any signs of getting lose, she told me the bolds on the drive shaft should have been checked, who puts a wrench on every bolt and check for tightness, I know my local mechanic jerks the drive shaft to check for play, anyway i was then handed over to the service manager who was not in a good mood and told me plain and simple, were not responsible because dozens of people have touch your old truck and they should be responsible. Hes now blaming it on an old truck, (2000 Volvo) and then he told me the problem could also be the fact that you drive your old truck in Canada and picks-up that Canadian winter junk, as if the Canadian highways have different junk on the road...The issue Im having now is that; when I came with the truck to have it repaired, they were very nice people, but now when a case is been brought to them about a possible oversight on torquing the bolts properly, they have a total different demeanour, he wouldnt let me talk, just kept repeating his the same stuff, that were not responsible and how foolish it was for me to come after them for a buck. I hadnt even mentioned anything about money yet, just wanted to give them the info and then ask if they would consider helping out with the $2000.00 plus bill but our conversation didnt get that far, once I knew his attitude about this issue and how he reacted, it would be a waist of time because he had already decided that they; Stoneys werent responsible.Im not saying that they did a crappy job, but most likely forgot to tighten a few bolts (although hard to prove) and it ended up costing me over $2000.00the 2 stars I give them is mainly based on the way they handled the phone call situation and the lack of responsibility theyre willing to honour.
