The driver, John, was kind, professional, and efficient. He took great care of my truck both in loading and taking it to our mechanic. I would recommend this company and particularly John to help you.

I worked for this place and I was an exceptional driver as you can see from Mike in reviews below. This company is very crooked, the IRS needs to look into their employees 1099. I constantly wrote down on my pre inspection sheet I need tires, lights, brakes. These are all very important for my safety and safety of vehicles. If I didn’t have my own tools I wouldn’t be able to work at this place. They fired me for speaking up. I have contacted the Public Utilities Commission also. I advised if u have any issues also report to the P.U.C. If u want action on ur issue. They withheld my entire $1400 check for damage claims that I had paid off and they had not taken anything out of my check. As you will see in the pictures I was stopped and put out of service by the highway patrol because the company fails to comply with laws.

Have AAA RV+ and was stuck in a snowbank (not even a ditch). AAA dispatch said everything was good, tow truck on way. Mike called to say this isnt covered and will need to pay $350 / hour cash. What a scam!

After a snow day I noticed a lady stuck on a steep Manitou Springs hill. I assisted in digging her out but she was still not able to gain enough traction and kept sliding down the hill. I decided to walk to the main road in town in hopes of flagging down someone in a truck to help. Coincidently the first large truck to pass by immediately stopped and happened to be the owner of Bears Towing I found out. He took unpaid time out of his day to drive up and winch her out. Took him 5 seconds and he was very friendly the whole time. Id support this business if ever needed knowing some of my money is going towards an owner that is this kind.

From the dispatcher that took my call to the tow truck driver they were very professional. They arrived early so that I wasnt late for work. And they werent expensive. Thanks for taking care of us.

The truck arrived within 20 minutes of calling AAA for a tow. The service provider was extraordinarily nice, courteous, helpful, friendly, and professional. He invited us to sit in the truck and adjust the climate control to stay warm while he diligently assured that our vehicle was properly secured on the bed. We enjoyed an exceptionally pleasant conversation throughout the 100 mile tow, and he assured that we were in a safe and secure place before he left. Our driver was truly an extraordinary man and we were so thankful for his help and professionalism.I truly cannot imagine a better experience in a stressful situation, and I most definitely recommend Bears!

So I called them a day or two ago to schedule an appointment to tow my car to a dealership. They said they would be around between 7-9 am. Nobody showed or called, I wait 15?ish minutes after 9 and I call them, they explain that their truck broke down and they’ll be there by 12. Wait a half hourish after 12, call them back, trucks still not fixed. You’d think that they would call me to let me know this, nope!! Look I sympathize with a truck breaking down, my problem is they didn’t have the decency to call me to let me know they’d be late. Go to Walt’s towing company. Literally called them after this, got my car towed off in less than an hour.

I told this person that the service they provided deserved a good review. I have AAA , but my insurance company paid for my tow. This was probably one of the best services I have recieved from a tow company. Heath or was it Keith? I believe it was Heath, he was so informative with not only updated time frames, but was so understanding of the situation and made sure I was aware of everything I needed to know regarding vehicle and what all was going on with it.He also informed me of the companies services in the event I may want to use them in the future. Good job. Anyways, just wanted to say most tow companies are terrible but this one made me change my mind entirely because of the service he provided for me. Thanks Heath.

Apparently it takes 27 hours to tow a vehicle out of the ditch. Yup. You read that right. Twenty seven hours. I recently got to witness the kind of business this place is. I never write reviews. And this wasn’t even my vehicle but it blew me away at how terrible this company is. I had a friend come visit me and she got her rental vehicle stuck. The vehicle was not recovered until 27 hours later after being told numerous lies and false Information. The most frustrating part of this whole deal was the fact that this company never bothered to call or give any updates on what was going on. Even after saying multiple times they would. The amount of misinformation between dispatcher, drivers and even the manager/owner himself blew me away. I don’t need to go into all the issues that happened... Just know that if you need a towing. Whatever you do. Whoever you call. DO NOT EVER call this company. This place need to be put out of business.

These guys went above and beyond to help me retrieve my sons personal item from his wrecked van. The doors would not open and glass was everywhere; they did not hesitate to get the door open, climb I and start handing items out to us. Great customer service!

We needed out car moved to our mechanic. I was impressed with how much care was taken to not damage the car during loading and unloading.
