Dr. Rota and his staff are so wonderful!!! I came to them after seeing a chain dentist that treated me very poorly, ultimately causing my already existing fear of dentists atleast 10x worse!! Since seeing Dr. Rota my fear of the dentists has almost completely vanished!! I no longer stress for weeks prior to an appt and I no longer leave the dentist in tears!! Thank you to Dr. Rota and your amazing staff!! I am so glad I found you guys!!

Began seeing doctor rota at the beginning of this year with the ultimate goal of making my teeth whiter. Long story short, the plan initially was to get a root canal done and get my teeth ultimately cleaned.I was warned twice about rescheduling, which I understood as I too run appointments in my industry. One reschedule was my fault, another due to an auto accident as I had explained.In between this Dr. Rota himself rescheduled about 4 times, which I would not have minded had my absences been treated professionally as outside of my controlThe root canal he did was excellent, no pain afterwards.Finally arrive to my cleaning, today, and was under the impression my current treatment plan was going to be covered by insurance I had at our initial visit. I was apparently incorrect. I agreed to pay the fee Dr. Rota asked of me. This cleaning was described as a periodontal cleaning.AAfter the procedure, I get told that due to the tartar on my teeth, I would have to pay more. Had I have known this was going to happen, or it was relayed to me before actually starting the procedure (quoted at $50 when I walked in the door) we could have talked about it and I could have made a decision, as I was short on funds due to medical issues that I have had, which was discussed prior to me sitting in the chair.The hygienist should have told me BEFORE, NOT AFTER, if they believed my cleaning was going to need to beat a different level than previously discussed. No anesthesia or any tools aside from standard periodontal cleaning tools were used aside from apparently giving the hygienists a “workout”Not once during this entire exam did Dr Rota so much as look at me, or explain the services I was to receive and that there was a potential for a “higher price” (this is a bait and switch) so I respectfully declined to pay the higher amount. In response the secretary (not Dr Rota) informed me that I would be unable to see him again due to the disagreement. Overall, the level of care was pretty standard, a root canal and cleaning of this level could be provided at the same quality by any reasonably competent dental professional, however there was a notable degrade in professionalism that ultimately led to a poor customer experience, and not once was my teeth whitening discussed. I showed up out of respect after initially not wanting to come due to the level of professionalism the office of Dr. Rota displayed, then when I arrived I could have left when I was told that I did have to pay, I did not, again out of respect due to previous scheduling issues, and then ultimately “banned” I guess you could say” for circumstances that were vague and unclear.Overall, this is going to be a one. I complained to doctor Rota about the level of care I had received at comfort dental and how that led me to reach out to him, and ultimately I probably would have received better care there, and actually been able to address or understand my issues other than “brush your teeth or you’re gonna lose them”Ultimately, I would not recommend Dr rota for anything other than the advanced dentistry his experience and education is claimed to be able to provide, but would definitely look at other options before choosing this officeThanks!Edit: I am editing to add that as I view his reviews, this does seem to be a stated problem in several reviews I’ve read.

This is the best Dentist office I have even been to. Dr. Rota is very helpful and caring along with all of his staff! I have the worst dentist anxiety and they are all very understanding and reassuring! I could not be happier with the services I received!

My appointment at Rota Advanced Dental Care was during a COVID-19 peak: I was a bit apprehensive. But, very quickly after I arrived my apprehensions decreased and my comfort level elevated. Dr. Rota has implemented excellent COVID-Careful procedures. And, my visit itself met with the excellence which I have expected from them during the ten years I have been a patient.

Thank god for Dr. Rota. He is worth the hour long drive and I will never go anywhere else. 2 months ago, I started to get a lot of pain in my jaw and my lymph node swelled. I suspected a tooth infection and called the closest office to my house that accepted my insurance. They told me I had an infected wisdom tooth (that was so impacted it never even made it out of the jaw bone) and set me up for surgery that week. That surgery did not go well. Neither has the healing. I have been dealing with pain for 2 months, and was still having to flush the site 5 times per day, especially after eating because it still wasn’t really closed.I called my mom in tears after I went for a cleaning at a different office because they said I needed a bone graft procedure my insurance doesn’t cover. My mom told me she would call her dentist, Dr. Rota. She assured me he was wonderful and would get me in and she would help me. Since insurance wasn’t going to cover it, I may as well go to the best. He quickly got me in for a consultation. He scheduled me the next day for what we thought would be a pretty easy procedure to fix what needed to be fixed. Unfortunately, it was not easy at all. 30 mins turned into hours, but Dr. Rota was determined to get this issue fixed despite the difficulty of it.Dr. Rota ensured that I was comfortable. Cool wash cloths on my head, etc. I could feel the love and care he has for his patients. I know he has completely dropped everything to help my mom on a couple of occasions, and I know he probably didn’t plan on me being in his chair all day, but he was not going to give up or cut corners, which unfortunately happens, as I know all too well. I would certainly say he is a perfectionist in the best way possible. His staff is also excellent. I mean, the absolute best. Plus, he has 3 therapy dogs that are real real cute. Also, you can tell he keeps up on the best techniques. He actually spun my blood in a machine to produce a plasma sheet I needed for the bone graft and tissue to heal well.I will never go anywhere else. Despite the intensity of my appointment yesterday, the pain is manageable. Probably 1/10th of the pain I experienced with the initial surgery with the other office. I feel so good that I have this issue fixed. I know that I can call and he will listen if I have any problems. What a huge contrast from what I have experienced before. I am very, very grateful. I don’t think that I could have found a better dentist, or dental office, anywhere else. The difference is unbelievable between him and what I have experienced at chains. It is rare to find someone who is more interested in caring for people than they are in making as much money from as many people as possible every day. Plus, even after the extensive work I needed, it still didn’t cost me what was quoted by an office that would have booked me for no more than a 45 min time slot.

You will not find a better dentist! I love Dr. Rota and his staff. They are very thorough and know what they are doing. Dr. Rota is very knowledgeable and a perfectionist when it comes to teeth. I can’t say enough good things about this dentist office!

Dr. Rota has been my Sleep Appliance (for sleep apnea) dentist for the last 7 years. I am willing to drive 7 hours round trip to my appointments because of the high quality of care and expertise I receive. The office is very friendly, relaxed, and clean.

I am so happy about my dental office, I just had to write this review. Normally I wouldn’t take the time, but they are so good I want everyone to know. First their new office is really beautiful; I especially like the warm colors and Tuscan feel. The staff are so incredible and work so well together. They really put me at ease and made me feel like I had been coming there forever. Dr. Rota is very friendly and professional and I am impressed with how much time he takes with me. He is truly an artist as well. He makes his own crowns with computer technology and adds his own artistic touch to make them look real….I am so pleased with the smile makeover he did for me. You cannot tell they are crowns. It makes me look ten years younger.

I have had quite a bit of work done by Dr. Rota to resolve crooked teeth and a cascading series of root canals caused by my misaligned jaw. He has gone above and beyond to deliver incredible value for the investment I’ve made in my smile and dental health. Dr. Rota, a graduate of the renowned Tufts University School of Dentistry in Boston and former U.S. Army officer, has decades of experience in treating even the most complicated dental problems. He also is a true master at crafting porcelain veneers and crowns that look like real teeth. (People often comment on my beautiful teeth and smile.) Dr. Rota, his assistant Michael, and the other staff are also delightful (and compassionate) people. I can’t recommend “Rota of the Rockies” more—so much so that I even traveled to their offices from out of state this week to have some further work done.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Rotas for almost 15 years. He always has the most up to date dental equipment meaning less radiation, better dental cleaning, and just the best dental work. He stays current on the latest advancements in dentistry. He is very attentive to my comfort, that I dont feel pain, whether I need something to eat or drink during a long appointment, and so forth. He is interested in not only that I have the best dental care, but that I have the best experience in his office. I feel welcomed and relaxed when I see him, and never have the dread of going to the dentist. And he has done some extensive work on both myself and my husband. I highly recommend him. He is the best dentist I have ever seen.

It is sufficient to say that my wife and I drive 3 1/2 hours each way for our dental appointments. This is made easier by them bending over backwards to accommodate our schedule. Far and away the best dentist we have ever found. A passionate perfectionist who takes visible delight in doing an outstanding job!

Definitely one of the best dental clinics Ive been to! Ive had 6 appointments already at this clinic and wait times have always been less than 5 minutes. Dr Rota and his staff are very friendly and professional, making a trip to the dentist quite pleasant, which normally isnt the case!

Initially it seemed a very happy place but once i was recommended unnecessary services i got a second opinion and realized I was lucky to get out of there.

He is a charlatan. He offered me a $2,000 non refundable out of pocket treatment, which after multiple opinions I know wouldnt have helped me one iota. I dont think he even looked at my MRI. He insisted my expensive toothbrush didnt vibrate at a proper frequency and I needed a different one. Also told me I had the teeth of an old man and needed a several hundred dollar mouth guard. Ive NEVER had a dentist tell me that my entire life. I paid 80$ for a snake oil sales pitch

Not only patient and truly listens, but is very gentle. He doesnt advertise as a pediatric dentist, but he is amazing with our 3 year old and 5 year old girls. His technology is beyond any other dentist Ive seen, allowing him to foresee potential problems and addressing them before the problems turn into huge expenses or serious issues. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Rota and his staff. They truly are the best and I recommend him to everyone I know!

It has been a very long time since I felt well rested and slept without snoring. Dr. Rota continues to do an excellent job in ensuring that I have a proper sleep guard. The temporary sleep guard has done wonders and I know the permanent sleep guard will do great as well. A lot of time, understanding and care about his knowledge of Sleep Apnea is proven through the wonderful night of sleep I now have. Thank you Dr. Rota it means a lot to me and my family.

If you are shopping around for any cosmetic dental work as most of us do or you are just looking for a good general dentist. Let me tell you your search has STOPPED here. If you’re going to invest in your smile as I have then you want a dentist who has a proven track record when it comes to cosmetic work. You want it done right the first time you don’t want to have to go back multiple times due to shade shape etc. Dr. Rota is one of the best if not the best. He has been a board certified dentist now for over 40 years talk about experience. Not only that but he stays up on all of the latest technology available like same day crowns implants etc... His office is absolutely gorgeous in its decor the second you step inside you feel right at home. Home for me is having a fur baby in residence (I Love Dogs) and his dogs that come to the office are such sweet tempered loving dogs who have sat in my lap many times thru a procedure. In addition his super friendly and knowledge staff are all more than willing and have gone out of their way to help me and other patients. But for me the icing on the cake is how many dental offices can you go to get a cleaning done and also have Botox ,fillers and state of the art skin treatments done by a registered nurse right after. I can get my 6 month cleaning done and right after my skin care maintenance done. Come on talk about convenience right. This office has set the bar high in my opinion and im so very thankful for finding it.. N I promise you will be too...............Lisa

Dr. Rota was very helpful with giving me a cash payment option since I was waiting for my dental insurance to kick in. The staff helped fit me in the day I called as I was in incredible pain and Dr. Rota performed a root canal that made the pain go away immediately. Cannot recommend Dr. Rota and his staff enough! I brought my 9 year old son here after switching from dentist to dentist trying to find someone he would let clean his teeth. Jesenia took him to the back to show him around and introduce him to their parrot, and their therapy dog! Julia and Dr. Rota were so good with Keaton. He let them clean his teeth! Hallelujah! Dr. Rota was so patient with Keaton and Im pretty sure he had a slight crush on Julia. I mean, who doesnt love an accent!? Where to begin??? Over the years, I’ve heard people say that something changed their life; and, frankly, I never could relate to that comment. Well, now I can. Dr Rota and his talent for diagnosing and his artistry as a dentist truly CHANGED MY LIFE! Over many years, I ground my teeth down. I had small, discolored teeth. I thought everyone’s teeth should be completely flat.Dr Rota gave me such understanding when he ”function first, then form”. My teeth and bite, pain in jaw and facial movement were a problem of function. When I understood that theory, I had no option other than to undergo a complete full mouth restoration. I knew my smile would be lovely, but never thought he’d be able to achieve the results I’m enjoying today. My jaw and mouth are finally relaxed. I didn’t know how abnormal my bite really was. His results are nothing more than a miracle for me. When I became a patient of Dr Rota’s a couple of years ago, I was completely stressed and had extreme anxiety . I remember meeting with him the first time. His compassion immediately set me at ease. He engaged in an candid conversation about my whole health. AND, he followed up with me!! Who does that? Dr Rota does!Dr Rota came in on his off days to make sure my dental work was progressing on track so I could have a lovely smile for my son’s wedding. After serious procedures, he’d call to make sure I was doing well. Who does that? Dr Rota does!!!I feel his staff have become my friends! As Dr Rota completed my restorative work yesterday, he called his staff in to take a look. As I sat looking into the mirror at my gorgeous smile, there were tears in his staff’s eyes and hugs of celebration!My only regret is that I didn’t find Dr Rota sooner! I did my research before heading into this treatment. He is the ONLY dentist I would even consider! I even looked out-of-state. He is more than a dentist – he has a God-given talent for the artistry! His demeanor and sense of humor always set me at ease. His guidance as I selected color and some idea as to the form I wanted was fantastic. If I could give this place zero stars I would. First let me tell you about how unsanitary I think it is do you have dogs roaming around your dental office I don’t mind if they’re in one area or whatever or you’re a dog person but that is absolutely disgusting I go there for my dental hygiene not to be in a pet store. Secondly they try to bill me for an appointment that they never told me I had scheduled and when I didn’t show up sent me an $80 bill in the mail and with a notice saying if I didn’t pay it in three days I would have something going towards my credit as far as late charges are concerned when I went to the office to pay the $80 and to confront the situation the receptionist said that Dr. Rota going to follow up with me within the next day or so to discuss the charges by that time I already would’ve been billed by the credit company so either way he did not remedy the situation and I would’ve gotten more trouble if I would’ve waited for him to remedy said situation. They Also referred me to an orthodontist that got upset with me when I did not want to take his price for braces and decided to go somewhere else I will happily say that I now go to Risas dental in Denver. Not only are they more prompt to return my phone calls or actually tell me when I have an appointment but braces are only $110 a month as opposed to the dentist and orthodontist Rota tried to send me to an orthos who was trying to charge me 400 and something dollars a month. please do your research and save yourself the time money and energy and look for people who care not only about your financial situation but about you as a person

When I first met Dr. Rota, 30 years ago, I had problems with TMJ. He was able to provide a treatment plan that has given me life long relief from my symptoms. When I was ready for an updated smile, he replaced old crowns and veneers with new and better materials. I highly recommend Dr. Rota and his wonderful staff to everyone.

There are several positives about Rota Dental. These are why this is not a one star review. One is that the customer service is personalized, the in-house technology is impressive, the layout of the office is lovely, and the front desk personnel are very friendly.The negatives however are many. First, when I called I asked if they accepted Tricare (and re-confirmed every visit, even checking on the Tricare website). I should have been more specific! They do accept Tricare, but are are out-of-network, and I did not find this out until AFTER myself and my two children had been seen at Rota Dental. This incurred an expense that, after multiple phone calls to Tricare and several appeals later, I am stuck paying. If I had known this before I could have gone to a provider that was in-network for all of our visits. As a bonus, I was served with a notice to appear in court.Second, the wait times that were experienced by myself and my children ranged from 15 minutes to nearly 2.5 hours! When I inquired about this, I was told that they could not guarantee the length of appointment or wait times. The wasting of my time was laughed off by the doctor and staff.Third, Dr. Rota has quite an abrasive personality. Honesty is a good quality, but after introductions the first thing that you do not want to hear from anyone is so, you know that you have a problem, right?. This lack of bedside manner is nothing short of inappropriate.I sincerely hope that this review prevents someone else from making the same mistakes that I did in this situation. Caveat emptor.
