This is such a amazing place to shop at! I needed help with mounting a bike rack in my garage and Camryn helped me out so much! And he new a lot about the different types of drills and he picked out a really good one for my needs to mount this rack! Such a amazing experience with this ace hardware!

An employee named Krystal checked out my fiancee and I today, and she was very rude to both of us, and seemed like she may have been on drugs or something. She was swaying while talking and having a hard time communicating in general. I was just concerned about having an employee act that way on shift.

This location has become my go to Ace Hardware store.Employees are always friendly and helpful. Store is well lit, organized, and has a very good appearance.May not always have the huge selection a big box store may have but you will get better service here. And when I asked about something they didn’t have the sales associate told me where I could find it. But they also carry somethings that the big box stores don’t.Great store with outstanding staff.

I had a really bad experience with Ace one time so I never came back However here at this store even after telling me I could not get a rephone on a custom color and color they recant to die and decided to give me another one I didnt have to argue I didnt have to ask for a manager These people are just here to be good to you and thats awesome

For as many people as they have on the floor its amazing how unhelpful this place is. The people up front have great customer service but no expert knowledge and so they have to tell you to find the person who knows stuff. And the only people that seem to know things, the supposed helpful hardware employees at this store have absolutely no customer service skills.I showed up there were multiple guys talking with customers, so I waited and then realized two disappeared and the last guy I was waiting on had been talking to a customer for over 10mins. By then 4 more people showed up and the employee was still trying to work out logistics for the first guy. And then he ignored me and took another 10mins with a guy who came after me. So I left, talked to a buddy and went to Home Depot.I completely support customer service jobs but I can see why people would just use a computer instead of wasting their time with one rude person and thats why places like Amazon and Walmart are winning.

I went to pick up paint samples today and Ron was super helpful-above and beyond really. He gave me info on the Benjamin Moore historic paints, did some quick problem solving to look up one of the paints not listed by number. When I checked in he said there was one more paint that needed to be shaken, noticed my hands were going to be full and asked if he could grab me a cart. I declined and walked around while I was waiting. He found me to let me know the samples were ready, he had grabbed a cart, sanitized it, loaded it AND gave me a coupon for gallon sized paints. That was way above my expectations. Somebody pay that guy more money, hes awesome.

Gregg our delivery guy was absolutely amazing in delivering our new grill. His customer service was impeccable. He was courteous, polite and friendly. He took the time to explain everything about our new grill. The experience of Ace Hardware delivery was absolutely fantastic.

Ron in the paint department helped me find paints for my crafts project. He is also wanting to expand the crafting department which I would love! He was very friendly and deserves a huge raise.

With a smile on his face he said yes. I came back the next day and he was able to get me connected. I know this was not hardware related but the service I received was absolutely amazing. I’m used to going to this location frequently. Lately the customer service has dropped off. It’s concerning. I’ve always been willing to pay a little extra for that home town type service but not anymore.Twice in the same day I’ve asked a question and before I’ve even finished the employee would simply walk off. When you get to the point that listing to your customers is an inconvenience, it’s time for management to make some changes.I can go to a big box store and expect this but Ace is supposed to the one with the helpful hardware “person”.Please don’t become like your competitors!

Poor management and customer service. Update your hours if you are going to close early. I manage multiple retail stores and google makes it so easy. No excuse for me to arrive over 50 min before you close and be turned away at the door with a lack of concern like I should have known better.

We buy from this location weekly and this morning Laura the cashier was beyond rude. Argumentative as we try to explain we had a business account and we were a loyalty member as she still continues to be so rude and disrespectful. Thinking about not using this location anymore because of her. I had to walk out as she still was laying into my husband. ACE needs to figure something out because of her you will lose our business.

Sad that no associate but the STHIL person can sell a chainsaw. I hate ACE and Lowes equally, and now I have to triple my transit to go to the latter. Strike 2 before never stepping foot in an Ace again.

Super helpful staff, willing to go the extra mile. Nick, was able to assist me in making a copy of a broken key I had. The only key I had to my house, broken completely in half. Despite the fact he easily could have dismissed me and asked I see a locksmith, he made the extra effort and with some fine tuning was able to copy it for me. Roy, was also very helpful. Thanks guys!

I went in because I needed a couple screws & a screwdriver to put my new license plates on my car. As soon as I walked in, Jason said hello and was eager to answer my questions. When he found out I needed to put my plates on, he said, Oh, thats it? and said he would do it for me! Totally unexpected. So ultimately, Jason not only put both my plates on (in the cold, nonetheless!) but he GAVE me the screws for my front plate. I told him I could pay for those 2 screws but he told me not to worry about it. The whole process of getting my license plates has been nothing short of HELL, so this small act of kindness made my ENTIRE day.Thank you so much for your kindness and helpfulness. He went above and beyond what I was expecting. (For what its worth, I think Jason deserves a raise!) ACE Hardware should be honored to have a man like Jason representing their business!! I will 100% come here again because of the stellar service I received.

Excellent service. Justin was very helpful both on the phone and then on my visit to the store. He was quick and efficient. I needed a chainsaw chain that nobody else seems to carry (it is an old saw) and Justin made sure that my old chain would be sharpened and a replacement was ordered. Total down time: 2 days (and 1 of those is Sunday.)

I have been coming into this Ace Hardware and others around the city for quite awhile. However I always get superior customer service at this location. Aaron, the store manager has helped me many times. He will keep my business and money coming back as long as he is with Ace!

I went I to the store to get a window screen repaired and get some rolling door hardware. Aaron helped me, he was absolutely fantastic, got me what I needed in 5 minutes flat. Will come back consistantly because of him.

This is the only place I will go to for any hardware needs for the home. Staff who have been there for a long time are great. Some new cashiers I have found to be less helpful; strangely enough, seem to not want to bag purchased items. Floor staff are good with helping find items.

Ace hardware is aces. Cold snowing outside and customers are still coming in. There was only one customer buying a snow shovel. The rest was buying regular hardware. Customer service was all around. If it looks like I stand thinking is this is the thing I need or is it the item on the other aisle. This is one of the reasons I shop here. I can usually find what I need. If the employee not sure the bring an employee over that understands what is needed and shows you where it is located and answers any other questions you may have. The big-box warehouse help is nowhere around and their knowledge is little to none. I can usually find what I need or look for it online. It seems box stores are run by the venders. Venders buy the placement and fill it with items that may be used in a different time region. The buyer comes straight out of college, with a business degree. They need to hire a trade worker that knows the department. Ace seems to understand this. I was in retail for 16 years and it is also noticeable in other retail stores. Grocery, clothing, electronics store, etc. Then we wonder why online stores have great sales. Offer everything, then sit back and watch you buy what you need. Not what a buyer behind a desk looking a set that would make them the most money per item. Not what the customer is buying. What is the old saying, its not making you money sitting on the shelf. As far as hardware stores go I believe ACE does this the best.

Best hardware store and staff in the Springs! Here’s just 1 example of the great customer service: I just moved and planned a bbq bash for my son’s graduation. I couldn’t find a power cord for my Bradley smoker and ran all over town trying to find one with no luck. I called Ace and spoke to Aaron and he told me to come in and see what they had in their small stock of Bradley parts. When I got there, I was disappointed that they didn’t carry the part (no store does). I told Aaron about my predicament and explained that I was having a huge party and that I needed a part for the same smoker he had in his store. To my surprise, Aaron opened the box of the one unit they had and handed me the power cord. He took my name and number and told me that I could borrow it. Wow!! Aaron and Ace hardware saved the day and the party. Thank you Ace and thank you Aaron!!!

Love the help I get from this store! I always use these guys to fill up my RV with propane. I was surprised the last time I was in that they have a Hallmark store in there.

Went in to get key made. I picked an American key. The guy said no wont work so I said ok and was going to get another. Then he said it will work. Guess what it did not! Next day took it back another guy said it is the wrong size, so he fixed a new one, had to go with plain, then a refund was due. I had to tell the front lady that I needed cash back several times and that it was not putting$2 on a CC when I paid cash. Come on people making a key, or making a refund should not be rocket science.

I love coming to Ace to buy paint and get odds and ends but lately the last few times Ive been in they have had one register open with a ton of employees on the floor. Which is great but when you have a line of 5 customers at the register waiting and one cashier, you would think one of the employees could step in and help the cashier out and get the line moving a little faster.

This is my favorite store to shop. Never been a make up dress up girl but I love power tools & the help their is so great at finding tools that I can handle at 105 pounds. Thats dont want to let me hurt myself!!

Awesome store! The store workers actually know about the items the store sells and are helpful. Only when Ace doesnt carry what I need will I then go to one of those big box stores. Also, the spring/summer plants are always healthy and reasonably priced. Think Monrovia at its best!!!

Was in yesterday afternoon and was really impressed by the service I received. I was helped by Dan in the paint dept and found everything I needed. I also noticed when I was leaving that they were putting in a Hallmark Gold Crown store. Is this new for Ace? Really cool and different!

Of all the retail stores that I have shopped this Ace hardware consistently provides the bestcustomer service. My orders are always ready when I need to pick them up, even on short notice. The staff always meets you at the door willing to assist and will greet to by name once they know it. They have a surprisingly large and varied inventory for not being a big box store. Ill pick their personal service over giant stores every time.

Outstanding service! I came in to have many difficult keys matched and cut. Chris Olsen went above and beyond to get as many keys matched as possible. I got outstanding customer service despite my purchases being minimal. That speaks volumes about the stores values.

Bought a new weed whacker that was a lemon. Not Aces fault. Due to a busy work/life schedule, I was unable to return it within ten days. Went to order a new remote for my Jeep and was helped far better than I ever expected. You know how you wake up and your day gets worse by the hour? Today was one of those days until I met Ron in the automotive department. He was my fairy Godfather today. LOL He went out of his way and examined my car keys and was able to fix them both and make me laugh. He turned my day from its time to go back to bed and try again to there are amazing people out there. Thank you Ron SO MUCH! Will definitely go back Ace Hardware!

Consistently poor service. There are helpful staff members and knowledgeable staff members, but no one is both. Consistently (9/10 trips) are out of stock on the items I need.

Laura- at the front was extremely rude to employee at front, also rude to us! Her tone of voice, accusing other customers of stealing things super loud for the whole store to hear. Not every helpful and short tempered.

Definitely the best Ace in town the other ones seem unorganized and there’s no space everything is squeezed into a tight space. The only thing this Ace should do to help improve is have a better selection of bulk screws. It’s either $50 for a huge tub or buy them one by one for .50 cents ish. The need screws that come in 25-50 qty or something like that

I would recommend this store to anybody.! management and staff are extremely helpful I recently purchased a 660 Stihl chainsaw every time I come in to get serviced or my change sharpened theyve taken care of me and they got me back up and running within a week.I have recommended friends of mine there and theyve helped them out with purchasing a chainsaw, for myself I live in the mountains it is a two-and-a-half-hour ride to the store which I gladly do for the service and expertise of the people at this Ace Hardware.If youre ever looking for a chainsaw or a specialty item I would check with the Ace Hardware at Austin Bluffs and Academy in Colorado Springs fantastic service and good people to work with.Good price on everything in the store and even sometimes they will be the competitions price which in my case they did..

Great place to go for almost anything except gas for the car & groceries. But, they do even refill propane bottles. Almost everyone working there is most helpful.

The great thing about Ace Hardware at Austin Bluffs are the things that the big hardware stores dont offer. Like screen & screen door rebuilds. Cant say enough good things about that! Need propane for your RV? No problem - just pull up at the pump (like an old-time full service gas station) and they will fill your tank(s) ASAP! Great place, glad to see theyre always busy too.

Called because I heard they were sharpening mower blades. I was told yes and the price was $8. I went in and talked to a guy who sharpened the blades. I told him I had a Honda which has double blades. He said he would charge $10. So I pulled the blades off the mower (and we all know how much fun that is) and took them. Naturally I didnt get the same guy and was told it would be $10 per blade. I left. Need to get your stories, people.

Nick, is a hero, helped me create a new key, however my key is a bit busted so it was never correct. after 4 attempts he was able to cheat the machine and create a perfect key. Appreciate going beyond to help me out as a new person to cars.

They have a big selection and all the staff were friendly. Probably not the best prices but its really close to my house so Ill spare myself a trip to the big box stores and shop here.

Half the staff are helpful but the cashiers are horrible. Lines are long and one of them was arged with me two times over a sale item. I wont be shopping there again. the only advantage to shopping here in the first place is it size, but since they never have enough cashiers and theyre so slow, might as well to go to Home Depot anyway. Definitely not the helpful place.

Have you been treated like a lowlife lately??? While I am a very frequent customer of this Ace, and they almost always have the fastener hardware Im looking for, they are always WAAAYYY overpriced. My single biggest complaint however is the fact that I am made to feel like a criminal every time I walk through the door. There is always a greeter, which is nice, but the first thing they do is key their radio, in the voice of some secret service douche... guy in blue ball cap walking toward tools. I am a commercial customer, and spend an average of several t$$$ a year at their store in nuts and bolts... they know who I am... WHY????

I had a wonderful experience at this Ace. I was directed to were I needed to go as soon as I came into the front door. Gloria had great knowledge of items I needed to get my garden started. Every one I passed greated me with a smile.
