The material is wonderful. I was able to get exactly the right color of yellow that two other local sewing and craft stores did not have. It was a good price and wonderful quality. I will check there first when I need material. The entire staff is so very helpful and knowledgeable. I learn something new every time I come to the store.

We took in a 50-yr old Singer sewing machine that wasnt working. We were told that parts are no longer available for our machine but that a thorough cleaning and minor adjustments might make it serviceable again. We decided to try the cleaning route, and it was returned to us sooner than expected and in full working order - as evidenced by cloth scraps with a wide variety of different stitches. We highly recommend Rocky Mountain Sewing & Vacuum.

I love this shop. I was looking to get a new sewing machine for making quilts start to finish. Jordan spent several weeks with me helping me pick the right machine. She is very knowledgeable and worked hard to get me the best machine at the best price. They even offer free classes to help me learn how to use it. After sewing every day during the pandemic I apparently wore out a part on my Pfaff Icon; I took it to Rocky Mountain Sewing & Vacuum for a service and repair, and was concerned to hear that the part was on back-order (also due to Covid) and Id have to wait several months to get my machine back. The Denver repair center was great, keeping me informed of developments and issues, and managed to locate a store model for me to use. I was able to sew on that until my machine was returned to me, all repaired. Thank you!

Went in to have a vaccum cleaner looked at. I was told they could do nothing but clean it because the manufacturer does not sell replacement parts. They want you to buy a new vaccum when it breaks I was told. Then they tried to sell me a 700 dollar vaccum. A week later not only can I find parts for my vaccum on several websites, I can also find diagrams and schematics. The lady was very nice though! I definitely would not go back to have anything repaired here

My old Kenmore and Singer machines had not been serviced that I am aware of.... They now run smoothly and are a joy to use. They were returned sooner than promised. Thrilled with their work!

We had a great experience at Rocky Mountain Sewing & Vacuum! We had shopped the box stores and were leaning towards a rechargeable dyson. Your staff was SO friendly & knowledgeable and asked questions to refine what we needed about surfaces to clean & preferences. Ultimately we bought a Sebo corded vacuum. It is quiet, works well on carpets and also without the brush on my wood floors with a push of a button. it’s easy to handle and it came with a long hose attachment for stairs. I love the warranty and service. I’m very happy we went with a bagged vacuum as there is no dust from emptying the canister. Thanks for helping us choose the perfect vacuum that will last a lifetime for us.

The place is like a magical sewing wishlist spot. So many top of the line machines of all the best manufacturers. Whole families were there to pick out moms new machine, like buying the family car. Their service center located in Denver can give service to any year, any brand machine. Their warranties and service contracts ensure you wont go away unprotected. If you want to stay on the cheap they have best rated machines for your budget, too. Even grandmas machine will receive the love it needs.

I was very impressed with this store and their staff. Tim was extremely knowledgeable and once I told what I wanted in terms of sewing, he immediately directed me to a great machine that was perfect for me. Furthermore, a week later the price of the machine decreased. They called me a gave me a credit on my credit card. I would never had known the price had decreade. I was amazed at their honesty.

At the beginning of the pandemic and stay at home orders, I was sewing masks for family and friends and my husband was helping. My machine was reliable and doing well but my husbands was not as it was a very inexpensive Singer and he was getting frustrated. So, I called and emailed Rocky Mountain and Sewing on a Friday afternoon asking if there was any way to purchase a machine quickly and also, could they give me a recommendation on a machine based on my requirements and price. Within the hour, I had a response, a recommendation and an option to pick up the machine the next morning at their South Denver warehouse. I bought a Pfaff machine, a big upgrade from the Janome I’d had for a long time. Staff was friendly and helpful and the shop had all the accessories I wanted to go with the machine. The machine was refurbished but I would never have noticed. It’s in great shape and runs like a dream.

We went in to get service on an old (20 years) discontinued brand of vacuum cleaner. Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum was able to fix it, but we up front in how much it would cost, and that due to the age, it was unlikely that the vacuum would continue to operate for long. They showed what vacuums they had that were similar and some that were better. There was no sales pressure - just information and options to make the best decision for us. We didnt buy a vacuum then. We went home and came back two or three times. We were received well, and the sales staff continued to answer our questions. When we made the decision to purchase a vacuum, they honored every quote and discount offered to that point.This is a local (Colorado) business that sells a wide range of products - we were able to get the vacuum that we needed. It has been 3 months...we definitely have the right product! Not only did we get the right thing, we got it with the right customer-service oriented business.Without a doubt, this was the best appliance purchase experience we have ever had - In the market for a vacuum, you cannot do better than here.

The best place for sewing/quilting needs. They helped me when my bobbin froze, they explained how to used my embroidery machine when the shop I purchased it from didnt know the answer and they helped me find the traveling embroidery machine that would meet my needs. I love their Kimberbell classes....wish they carried the fabric. Someone is always ready to help or answer questions. And they always have really good chocolate sitting out!

Well after a happy 7 years together, my Hoover carpet cleaner died... Or so I thought. Hesitant to put another item in a landfill I set out to resurrect my carpet friend. Seriously, this was probably the best $300 Ive ever spent. Im a type A clean freak with dogs , cats and a husband who trails crumbs of his latest fridge trip everywhere in the house. I was not optimistic that I would find anyone to fix Hoover but Mark was my savior today! $80 for the part( which he had in stock!) and a screaming deal on the labor and he repaired it right on the spot. I was expecting to leave Hoover and not see him again for three months so this experience was a delight!! Friendly, helpful, kind, efficient and cost effective! Couldnt ask for better. Thanks, Mark!

My sewing machine wasnt working. I called Singer & they said take it to Rocky Mountain Sewing & Vacuum. Im so happy I did. They determined it would take almost $1,000. to repair it. They offered me a lot on the machine if I bought a new one. I did. They took me to all the different machines & demonstrated each one I was interested in. I chose one that embroideries as well as sews. I love my machine. One great thing is they offer classes so you can learn how to use your machine. I took both, one on the basics of the machine & the other how to use your embroidery machine. They also offer classes on learning new techniques, one day make & take & Sew Fun. Sew Fun happens once a month and they demonstrate various items and offer the patterns & accessories for purchase if you desire to make any of the projects. There is also a time to share what you have made. Its a great event.Heres another great part. If Im at home and cant figure out how to do something, I can call them. Within a few minutes they have walked me through the process & Im on my way. If you cant get it to work, you can also bring it to them & they will walk you through.I cant say enough great things about this place. They do everything above & beyond any place Ive ever been. You wont be sorry you shopped with them.

The selection of sewing, quilting, serger machines is expanding all the time. The Scan n Cut machines are also on hand. There is a nice selection of vacuum cleaners and associated accessories. TONS of sewing notions and attachments for the machines in their inventory. The staff is friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful to explain new technologies and to help with older machine needs.

Colorado Springs store is great, Rob is super customer satisfaction oriented. I bought a sewing machine about a year ago there. It was a floor model and so it had a couple of issues, but Rob made sure that all was good. And whenever I go in or call he right away knows who I am. All the employees are super friendly as well.

I am very pleased with the customer service at this establishment. The operator error was identified right away on my older Brother sewing machine. A couple of operating tips, some new needles and I was on my way. No charge for the operating tips. Very friendly and prompt service.

The staff is excellent and caring. The Owner of stores in Denver decided that if you are business they will not allow you to do sales tax exempt with them anymore. So you have to pay sales tax there, and then pay sales tax again when sell your product. I used to buy all my products there, but will no longer be doing that. You can get a better deal online or other stores in area that will except your sales tax licenses. Buyer beware for business owners.

Very nice staff. Came in with an older sewing machine I inherited wanting to get it tuned up. Staff said to save the $170 it would cost to get it shipped off and serviced by giving me a few tips to get it back into working order. Thanks!
