Love this place. I used to live down the street from here and have been here a handful of times. Monica, the owner, is very sweet and personable. Definitely not the same pushy culture as other nail salons. She get to know her frequent customers well - as well as their specific preferences. While the salon is not a super fancy establishment, ultimately I go here because of the service and the people. Do not go in expecting it to be really big and fancy - that is not the image and importance of this place.

Excellent experience with Monica at Alambra Nails & spa. I got a gel fill after having a bad experience at another place in town. Monica listened to exactly what I wanted-short, round nails. And after I mentioned I had bad cuticles, she took great care in making sure they looked good and she was very gentle about it. I’ve had my nails done at several other, much more expensive places and have hated how my nails turned out each time. I am very, very happy with my experience at Alambra and will definitely be going back. *Note the red lines around my cuticles are from a nail polish I had previously put on to try to hide the bad job I originally had done & not because of anything at Alambra.

Had my first appointment with Monica today. She gave me the best gel manicure I’ve ever had. She didn’t just do an awesome paint job, but she took the time to actually do my cuticles, get dead skin off, and make my nails look so well-kept and clean. My nails look great and I’m happy to have finally found my new salon after moving back home to CO in August. Thanks, Monica! 🤗

Monica helped me out a few weeks ago with recommending me a place to temporarily fix my nails. It was a Sunday and they were booked but she was helpful. I had my appointment scheduled for today for Acrylic Dip. I will be coming to her from now on to recieve my nail service. She is friendly, professional and extremely talented and knowledgeable of nail care and services. I have 0 complaints to report about this salon. Monica even went above and beyond to make my nails look slimmer and more feminine (I have a wide nail base that makes me feel like I have man hands). This salon will be my permanent nail care place. Thank you so much Monica for taking care of me.

Ive had petis and manis before but none that hurt as bad as the ones I got here. I cringed and wanted to cry, the lady who did them would hold my toes and fingers by placing her nails beneath mine, which reminded me of the old torture technique where they would hammer bamboo beneath the victims nails. It was very painful.She removed all the skin around my nails but failed to get the hang nails. Despite everything they do look good, shaped beautifully and more or less coating the entire nail.It was just a painful experience and slightly disappointing. I wouldnt have paid $85 for a job like this if I had known.With all the options available in this city I wont be returning.

Alambra was a great place to get a pedicure. This was the best paint job Ive ever had on my toes. The paint is smooth and a nice, solid coat. My nails are a nice, short length and the calf/foot massage was amazing. The ladies we saw were very nice. Current procedures are to wear a mask (of course) and have an appointment, but we were able to walk-in in the morning and make an appointment for right after lunch. We came back and asked if we could push our appointment a bit later in order to have our lunch date and they were very accommodating. There is also a frequent customer card with a punch given for services over $20. Would highly recommend.

Walked in for a gel polish yesterday, you all were very rude and seemed quite bothered I had even asked for a polish. Another lady came in and the welcome was quite different than the one you had given me so I walked out. Professionalism and courteous/friendly customer service is still very much appreciated, especially when I am giving you my money to do a service you offer.

My pedi lasted 6 weeks. And I loved the service.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Monica and her staff are fantastic. I have been a loyal client for over a year now and have never chipped, lost or broke a nail. The pedicure chairs are the best. They even have rests so you dont have to hold your feet up when the exfoliate your heels! I would recommend that you make an appointment. Its a great salon and they are busy. They offer a loyalty program too! And bring cash for a tip😉

I always leave here happy with the services I’ve received, the staff is friendly, the salon is clean, and they are reasonably priced. Their eyebrow threading is always on point and the facials are worth it if you have troubled skin.

Excellent job by both Lulu and Faten! Lulu was super gentle with taking off my prior dip polish and my cuticles, was very relaxing. And Faten did an excellent job and was very detailed oriented on my new dip application! Great massage too! Small salon but nice chairs and ladies. And I could understand all of them!! Haha definitely recommend.

Yesterday, I had my nails done at a different salon and they were think, globby and not pleasing.. I paid lot of money and was truly unsatisfied. So, today I researched and saw high rating at Alambra Nails. I explained my nail deliema and without hesitation Monica made my nails look naturally gorgeous!!! I feel confident and extremely pleased with the results! 💖

Had a fill on my solar pink and white nails and a pedicure to pretty-up my toes for Christmas. Monica, the owner did my mani & pedi. Pedi was done with a sugar scrub, massage and hot towel soak in a comfy massage chair; all to the tunes provided by Alexa. My toes were painted with acrylic, which lasts oh so much longer than regular polish. My red toes say, Im ready for Christmas! This is my go to for my nails & toes! They do lots of other things, too.

I am so glad I decided to give this place a shot! I’ve been trying to find a good place in the springs! This place has great prices and my nails look great! I forgot to ask my nail tech her name but, I think it was Lulu! She was amazing and I LOVE how great of a job she did! My nails look and feel great! I can’t wait to go back!

I went in for the first time with an appointment. Everyone was very friendly and gushed a bit over my long natural nails. I liked my nail tech, who was happy to discuss world travel and different cultures with me. She had wonderful attention to detail, while maintaining a reasonable appointment time. The salon is a little cramped, but busy and I understand why. My nails look great and Im extremely pleased. Ill definitely return.

I like to go here to get waxed because they have hard wax for sensitive skin. I like to Monica to do it because she always does a wonderful job with lip and eyebrow waxes. However recently I have noticed EVEN IF I specifically request her on the phone when making an appointment I get someone else. This happened today which prompted my review. I called about a week ago and at least twice confirmed with Monica she would be the one doing the wax, however as soon as I got there she immediately handed me off to another worker who was subpar at best. Granted I know I should have spoken up but I decided to give this other girl a chance... Now I have uneven eyebrows and it doesnt even look like my lip got waxed. Been going here a long time but might be looking for other locations now.

My Bf and I had some spare time and decided to get manicures. Both of our nails came out great. I absolutely love this place and next time Im in the springs Im thinking a full set 😉

The nail technicians are absolutely wonderful. They were happy to make an appointment with me to fix a nail that had broke the day after coming into the salon. 5 starts for customer service!3 stars comes from my overall satisfaction of the dip powered used (1 star). I have only gotten dip once before while out of state and when I compare the two I notice a big difference! My first set of dip stayed on a month and the only reason I had them redone was due to my nail growing out. The morning after getting dip done with this product my nail broke off. After getting the nail fixed and the remaining nails touched up I was very happy. Four days later the top gel coat started chipping. It looks like regular polish that is chipping away on the ends. Now, along the cuticle bed, one nail is separating from the dip. This just means that when I run my hands through my hair my nail gets caught. It is frustrating that I spent 60+ dollars on my nails and they arent able to last for more than a week and a half.

Great called in at 9 got me in for 930, the lady did awesome and was gentle will be back again.

The Owners of the spa want to make sure you’re happy when you walk out!! this is the cleanest nail salon I have ever been in since I have been doing my nails… They are very accommodating and boy do they give the best feet massage when you get a pedicure I’ve gotten at least seven manicures here and they are beautiful, they are fast they are friendly and they are very very CLEAN!! I would honestly give no stars. Not only did I have to sit around and wait longer because the dip coat wouldn’t dry then had no choice but get gel which I HATE. My nails are bumpy, I have to refile and top coat is coming off. The color is filed off cause of having to file off the other coat so many times. My cuticles are raw and inflamed. Also having to ask for new tips with dip? I have been to so many salons and they always take off all and put new. 50 bucks blown for no reason when I’m gonna have to get back to Denver and spend another 50 bucks to get them done again in a couple days because they are ALREADY loose. It’s been an hour since I left the salon.

I am here from out of town. I decided to get a fresh set of nails and a pedicure. I chose this place because it is close to my in laws. I had a small wait when I arrived.....20 minutes. The staff was very nice. My pedicure was very nice. Mel did my nails....even though she recently started doing nails, she did a great job. She was a little slower than normal, but she made sure they looked great! I will return!

Finally, a great nail salon that we will definitely visit again! Our first visit was outstanding. We went in for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. Both Whitney and Macrina did AMAZING manis and pedis. It was so relaxing and our hands and feet were tingling with happiness. We were both pleased with our polish and designs. The work was flawless. We are so happy that we visited Alambra Nails to celebrate a birthday. It made the birthday celebration more special.

Had a relaxing time. Price low so I could leave a tip. Girl through and gentle on my feet and legs. I recommend it.

I just came out of this business after an awful day. The shop pup Sat on my lap the whole time (invited, of course) and lifted my spirits. Thorough pedi and very reasonable.

Honestly, I’m not sure how this place has such good reviews. I’ve had two bad experiences within both times of going here!! I’m not sure of the woman’s name I had the first time, but the second visit Monica did my nails. Monica and the other woman somehow managed to leave me with almost all crooked nails, even after I pointed it and and they “fixed” it multiple times. I shouldn’t have to point out which nails are crooked because it’s quite obvious, and with me spending the amount of money I do on my nails, YES I want them the best looking possible.

I’ve been to a lot of nail salons and have always been somewhat let down by the overall moral and attitudes of the employees.However, Alambra nails didn’t disappoint me in anyway. From the second I walked in, everyone was VERY friendly and welcoming. All of the employees really seemed to love being there and happy to work with each other resulting in the most positive experience I’ve had. On top of their warm demeanor, they all did great work and took their time with their customers.Whitney took her time and put in a lot of care into making my manicure and pedicure beautiful and clean. I will definitely be back!

Best nail salon I’ve been to in the Springs. Everyone is so kind and has a great attitude. They took my friend and I for two manicures and a pedicure at 3:45pm (15 min before closing) and I never felt rushed. I felt very taken care of and had one of the nicest manicures I’ve had in years. I love this place. They didnt make my full set so thick that they look and feel terrible, they were comfortable, light and lasted a long time. I am a nail biter so my nails are terrible to work with, but they were very patient with me. Theyre always great with my 6-year-old daughter when she gets her nails painted too.

A friend and I went for pedicures, the guy that greeted us was nice. The atmosphere was nice, clean environment, our pedicures turned out well and the technician was receptive and respected our off the wall requests. Great place to go.

Melz is the bomb!! Fun, energetic and just says it how it is. Best part does a fab job and takes care of my cuticles...same I only see her in Colorado...I fly out every few weeks from NJ.

Have been coming here for two years and unfortunately will not be returning. My last couple appointments have been right after work. Called in for the first one and when I came in, I ended up waiting for 30 min. Most recently made an appt the last time I was in for a specific person so I knew they would be coming in. When I showed up, the person was not in and I ended up waiting 45 min and was late for my plans that night. They didn’t bother calling me to tell me the person I was getting my nails done with wasn’t even there. I will not be returning.

I am still in disbelief over my experience at this place. I walked in and asked for a manicure and pedicure. The woman looked at the appointment book and said yes it would be fine. As soon as my pedicure was finished the woman working on me walked over to another employee came back and said “we are not going to be able to do your manicure today.” When I questioned this treatment she denied saying that and said that she told me she could do it later. But that is not what she said. I have never been treated that way and it was humiliating to say the least. If she did not have time she should have told me up front, but it is inexcusable to ask a customer to get up and leave 1/2 way through the procedure. I will never go back.

I love Alhambra staff. They are sweet, friendly, and work hard. I have had their spa pedicure and manicure several times. Reasonably priced.

We had appointments for 2 pedicures today at 11:00 (before going out of town for a wedding). But the shop was closed and no one answered the phone or called me back for several hours. Very disappointed. Yes, there was some snow, but everywhere else we went was open.

Ladies are very kind and do a fabulous hoc on nails and pedicures.

I’ve waited 3 months to write this review because I wanted to ensure that my experience was true and wouldn’t change over time. Currently, Whitney does my gel mani and pedi twice a month and I love them every time. When I mentioned to Whitney that my cuticles were cut and hurt she had no problem switching to the tiny ball on her nail drill. I feel comfortable when I’m here and all of the ladies that I have met have been wonderful. As long as I continue to receive good service and great mani and pedi I will go to Alambra Nails & Salon.

RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! My 5 yr old daughter came here on a whim bc she had earned this from having a great day at school which is right up the road. We walked in and were asked what we needed. Shellac for me polish for her... after a bit someone looked up and simply said they were all booked for the day without giving an option to make an appointment. My little girl left feeling hurt.

I found Alambra Nails & Spa because of the wonderful Google reviews. They were absolutely on point! I’ve been wanting to try a dipping powder manicure for what seems like forever, but my nail place back home in Seattle didn’t have it yet. I’m loyal (and extremely picky about who does my nails), so I waited to “cheat” on them until there was a reason. HA! I’m in Colorado Springs for an extended period of time, so of course I started searching nail salons near me who have dipping powder. While there were many places closer to me (I’m on the south side, about 15-20 minutes away), I chose Alambra and asked for an appointment with Monica because of the glowing reviews. And I’m so glad I did! I made an appointment the day prior (yesterday), and ended up running 10 minutes late. I called to let them know and they said it would be fine, there would still be enough time. I walked in exactly 10 minutes late, but no one made me feel bad about it (I kept apologizing anyway). It’s cozy, very clean and welcoming. Martin greeted me first and I already knew I had picked the right place. They’re genuinely nice (and funny!) people, I felt totally confident that my nails would be in good hands. Literally. Monica was waiting for me and I told her how I had found them, that her name kept popping up in excellent reviews. I told her how excited I was to try the dipping powder and while she wrapped my nails (to remove my gel polish), Martin laid out the dipping powder color swatches. They have a TON of colors, over 50, I believe? And they plan to have at least 100 different colors very soon.** for those of you wondering, they don’t have the chrome/mirror colors yet, but the color selection was still substantially greater than I’ve seen elsewhere in my “Google research” - and quite honestly, I’d rather buy my own chrome powder and take it to Alambra than have another place do my nails **Monica was extremely attentive and asked me which nail shape I like (square-ish, with slightly rounded edges), she explained the dipping process and made me feel even more comfortable. The end result is nothing short of perfection! I LOVE MY NAILS, now I’m ruined for gel manicures. Haha! My nails feel much stronger than they do with gel, but not suffocated like they did when I had acrylics. I love how they turned out so much, that I’ll probably go back next week to have another dipping powder manicure with a different color, even though they won’t need to be done yet. I can already tell I’m addicted to this dipping powder manicure process!Extra: the Spa Pedicure chairs are BRAND NEW and look sooooo comfortable. There was a woman getting a pedicure, I think the nail technician was Ana? I’m not sure, sorry “Ana”! Anyway she did an awesome job too, I looked. And then a regular came in, the appointment after me, and they treated her like family. She told me even more wonderful things about the place! They included me in all the conversation and jokes, I felt very comfortable, and I was having fun!I’d highly recommend this place, not just for the dipping powder service, but for everything!Thank you all for making me feel like a regular. :)
