Horrible experience to just grab a USPS box, non on the floor, one person wont get off the phone, one doesnt know how to do her job and the third one would not step away from the one that was incompetent of doing her job or constantly stepping away from the customer shes helping, when I finally left there was 8 people in line behind me. I will never make this mistake again. It was 5:00pm. I assumed the post office was closed or had a long line. So I stopped here. Was told the medium flat rate box would be 21.00. (USPS logo box) I was absolutely shocked. The employees response was Thats the post office. jokingly. Um no, thats not the post office. Thats almost 7.00 convenience fee. As I found out when I got home its only 13.75 if I would have went to the post office. I guess I assumed that similar to stamps, you cant overcharge for a USPS published price. Obviously wrong. I could see 2.00 more for the convenience. But this was just ridiculous. Sorry. Buyer be ware. And employees should just tell people there is a fee on top of the USPS price. Stefanie was very nice when I called almost 24 hours later and wanted to know why my package wasnt tracking yet. However, I wont be back.

The staff here has always been very helpful especially considering I usually ship large amounts of stuff. They help me pack my ridiculous amount of things and are always very gentle and considerate when doing so. I appreciate them and plan to continue using their services as long as Im in the area.

Called them and asked if they could handle postage for Priority Mail UPSP packages. They said yes, but when I got there they did not know what Priority mail was, and rather tried to ring it up as a weighted box. Poor management.

$70 to ship a single golf club?!!! That’s absolute robbery! I have been going to this location for years and will not be coming back ever again. I have mailed out multiple items in the last month and this is absolutely absurd! That’s more than the club was even purchased for!Edit: went to Pack and Ship Plus on Austin Bluffs and Academy with another club and it cost me $17. Perfectly reasonable.

This location is an extremely well oiled machine: they text and email when you have a package, they can check your mail for you, you go to the head of any line to pick up packages, they always answer their phone. Every one is very professional and precise. Very highly recommended.

I use this Postal Annex all the time and have been a customer for more than 10 years. Chris and staff go above and beyond to be helpful. Years ago, they helped me with some issues with missing consulate paperwork and communications back and forth between here and Brazil. It was a scary situation with my kids stuck in Brazil. Chris let me use their fax and space and computer and copier. I was there for several hours and they could not have been more accommodating. They also shipped a very large glass table to my dad in Florida and it went perfectly. They ship all my packages all over the US and abroad. They remember your name and a big part of the community. Cant say enough good things about them.

Super pleased with the service provided by this particular Postal Annex. Had a very important picture boxed and shipped by them and UPS destroyed it. The manager: Chris, immediately helped file the claim, facilitated all the paperwork, and when I got the picture re-done, personally ensured it was packed even better and that it arrived safely. The owner is unprofessional at most. You will get a package and when the staff hands it to you they guess whats in it when they hand it to you. The staff thinks customers want to talk about their mail. Not everyone does. Dont ask them to fax or notarize anything for you either, they just want to gossip about the documents. The owner asked me once how I put up with my husbands humor who made a joke while we were mailing a package. I was offended. I told her my humor is worse and please dont judge. NOT EVERYTHING IS YOUR BUSINESS. JUST MAIL MY PACKAGE! I have referred many to this location and then they tell me the staff is unprofessional and theyd rather stand in line at usps or pay higher rates with UPS or FedEx.

I went in last week to drop a package off with my 20 month old daughter. The employee ringing me up asked if I “had another little one on the way” and motioned to my stomach. I was taken aback and all I could say back was “No, I guess I’m just fat.” My husband is deployed so I guess I’ve been stress eating a little but I didn’t think I looked pregnant. However, instead of apologizing that she made a wrong assumption she started talking about how she recently lost 15 pounds. Talk about insult to injury. I continued small talk with her until my package was ready to be shipped, but I was really hurt emotionally. I’ve had good experiences in the past but I don’t know if it’s worth getting comments about my stomach and made to feel self conscious.

I knew these third party locations cost more than the USPS locations; however, today I found out how much more. I went in for the convenience of the location to ship a small package weighing less than two pounds. They first set up an entire account for me and then gave me a price of almost $12. I declined shipping with them and went to the USPS location where I shipped the exact same package for $6.99! As I left, they claimed they were a little bit higher priced. At almost double, I find their prices outrageous. They also claimed that the package would arrive faster. Since when does a 3rd party middleman get something there faster than directly going to the post office? I wont be back.

I rented a mailbox and relied on this location for most of my shipping needs for almost four years and closed my account today, here is why.Before I jump in, I must note the staff that works there is very helpful and professional and I always received service with a smile and got what I needed according to expectations.Chris Ware is the owner of this location and throughout the years she would Consistently complain in a passive aggressive manner for having packages longer than she deemed appropriate. I am paying for this service and it is inappropriate and unprofessional to complain to your customers, clearly attempting to invoke guilt, that I have packages waiting for pick up longer than she would like. I can understand if it was an unreasonable amount of time and even if that was the case you can professionally address it being direct. There were a few instances when I was either a few days or a week late paying my mailbox bill and never once did she offer grace in waiving the late fees. I was consistently nickeled and dimed when needing to print documents or needing tape, she literally wanted to charge me $.10 for a few inches of tape one time! One time I was already paying for shipping a package and I asked if she could print a single black-and-white document for me and she literally charged me $.50 for the one document, astounding considering I am a monthly paying customer. My email was added to her notification system without my request and when I asked to be removed My request was ignored for a few months until I had to get firm with her on that one issue. The passive aggressive complaining, the lack of graciousness and the nickel and diming is why I closed my account. I truly hope Chris changes her ways or her business will never grow.

This location will NOT except anything from UPS or Amazon’s returns. I have been there countless times and always get told “no, we can’t take that”Please remove from any delivery/return list because you are wasting people’s time that have to go elsewhere and make another stop.

Very disappointed. We had a package picked up for shipping by the PostalAnnex. They shipped the item to an unverified address and refused to offer compensation as a result, even half, which we thought was a reasonable request. There solution was for us to go knock on the door of the incorrect address and see if our package was still there for us to retrieve!!! We will not use them again due to their poor customer service.

Paid premium to have items packed by store. They left an item in their packing area and it was not shipped. Called when item did not arrive in box at the destination...despite their error the store would not cover shipping or discount after they found item in their packing area. Too many other good shipping stores in the area to tolerate mediocrity and poor customer service.

Postal Annex is the cherry on top of a delicious hot fudge sundae. We all hate those days where you have to adult. Chores, dry cleaning, doctor visit, DMV, calling Comcast to argue with them (which happens about every 3 months). My next stop after the DMV was going to be the post office, until this lovely saint of a woman at the DMV told me about the postal annex. I went there to mail my package instead of the post office and the staff treated me like a friend instead of a customer, there was no line and the best part is no one had to post my bail from me losing my mind if I had to deal with the post office that day! Thank you postal annex for saving my life and opening my eyes that mailing packages can be such a pleasant experience. I hope Santa gives you everything you want for Christmas.
