No AC the entire summer. No fix. Complained to management 7+ times in person and through email. Put in several work orders. Requested meetings with management. Nothing. Lost my key and paid for a new one. They said if I found it they would reimburse me for it. Well they did but they added other chargers that ended up taking it away. 🤷 Other than that living with a bunch of noisy, trashy college students was terrible

The staff at west edge is very friendly and willing to assist residents at all times. Chandler was super helpful with all the questions I had and always has a positive attitude. She knows a lot about the property so I always come to her when needing questions answered or things explained.

Chandler was super helpful when I had questions about the lease process and payments online! She is a fantastic CA who certainly knows what she is doing. I highly recommend asking for her if you have any questions!

I wish I could put zero stars. I dislike this place so much and it’s sad because it has so much potential. I have lived here for two years and have very few good things to say about this place. I’m so tired of the inconsiderate management who can’t even take time out of their day to talk to their residents about real concerns. My boyfriends motorcycle has gotten stolen from the property and we luckily found it in Texas completely stripped. He just got his truck broken in to in the front parking lot last night too! And guess what. I haven’t heard a single thing from management. I have called, gone to the front desk, asked to speak to a manager but I can’t even get a phone call from them. I find it amazing that they rather prioritize getting new people to live here rather than their residents. I have been walked in on by staff in my own bedroom, and no there was no prior notice. They say they are not responsible for ones safety and security in the lease so keep that in mind! They simply do not care. They only care about the money, I can promise you that. I have met so many others who are so unhappy with west edge, I’m shocked I stayed for as long as I did. If you are thinking about living here, you are better off looking somewhere else because you will get tired of it. I wanted to like it here so bad but the management truly makes that impossible.I pay my rent on time, Take care of my apartment, even chose to renew my lease and all I get is a “sorry our manager is busy” when my visitors property gets stolen. If I were UCCS I would ban west edge from associating themself with the school, because there is nothing safe, or lovely about this place. It’s not even student living anymore, literally anyone can live here. Every bad review is completely accurate so I recommend you read them all. Thank goodness my lease is going to be over soon.

West Edge is a great place to live especially if you are a college student attending UCCS because its within walking distance. I’ve enjoyed my last three years here and I would like to thank all the employees for that. More specifically, I would like to spotlight Kelli because she is a hard worker and is always kind, patient, and positive whenever helping me out.

West Edge has great amenities, and is conveniently located next to UCCS. The office staff is always nice and accommodating, especially Carter who is always happy to help!

I’ve been living at west edge for a few months now and so far it has been nothing short of amazing! The amenities offered here are convenient and fun. Moving into these apartments I was hesitant, but Kelli, an employee at west edge helped me through the whole process with patience and a positive attitude making it an easy transition into apartment living!

I love the location, prices, and amenities. Also I love all the free stuff that they give out!

Cole Is the best... I mean what else can I say, he has an amazing work ethic and takes his job and other things that are important to him seriously while also not taking himself too too seriously... he’s able to laugh at himself and remain lighthearted, he is also an amazing friend, he’s a great listener, and isn’t afraid to tell you what you need to hear... over all he’s just a stand up guy and West Edge and all the people he chooses to keep close are very lucky to have him.

I love living at West Edge! They have an amazing gym and study rooms that are well maintained. The bathrooms are also really big.

Everyone working here is super friendly and Carter helped me tour the property all the while being very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. Rooms are nice. Big pool. Nice view. Fully stocked gym can’t wait to hit the weights here

Management doesnt uphold their own policies about amenity hours and overall conduct. People have been using the pool and other amenities well after the office closes, and west edge has done nothing about this.The garage door has been broken for the majority of my current lease and I have been paying extra for garage parking.Residents have a tenancy to run up and down the halls late at night and knock on peoples doors, loudly congregate outside occupied rooms past midnight, and generally have no consideration for their neighbors.The fire alarm goes off all the time, especially late at night.People steal the community hand sanitizer very frequently.People vandalize others cars in the garage routinely.People leave pet poo in the hallways.Finally, west edge is aware of almost all of this and does exactly nothing to change any of it. They do however, reply to these reviews, instead of actually dealing with the problems.I cannot wait to move out.

I’ve been living at west edge for two years now and have had no issues with the complex. The amenities are great and it’s close to campus. The staff is friendly, especially Raymond.

I’ve about had it with this place. My car has been broken into twice on the property, and the second time my garage opener was stolen from my car in the garage, and they actually charged me to replace it. I’m not sure I even need the clicker since the garage door has hardly worked since I’ve lived here. The hallways are a mess and there’s constantly loud parties and the fire alarm goes off way more often than it ever should. Just recently, they decided to power wash the parking garage, and required everyone to move their cars out of the garage, which meant ~100 cars had to find parking off property. About 30 of these cars got parking tickets parked behind the building. Additionally, the amenities are not open to guests and haven’t been for most of the year. Their complete lack of empathy and understanding for their residents means that I can not recommend that anyone moves here or renews their leases.

My boyfriend live/works here and all I hear is positive things about it. I love coming to visit him.

West edge has great staff members. Chandler is one staff member who stands out a lot. She is always friendly and eager to talk to residents. She is very knowledgeable and will try her best to provide you with the best solution to your questions and needs. She goes out of her way to make residents as happy as possible.

Cole, a front desk worker is always extremely helpful and kind! He always makes WestEdge feel more inviting!

Been living at West Edge since it opened late/rushed in the fall of 2017. Now that its 2019 and my lease is up I thought Id share some thoughts.West Edge boasts many different amenities in their marketing but most of these arent that exciting after you move in. The 4th floor lounge is disappointing: ski simulator is actually just an arcade game, the rock wall is super short and mostly just ceiling holds, and recently the whole room had to be redone. Apparently the bathroom above it burst and they had to air out the whole room down to the lobby to prevent black mold from growing all over the building. I know for a fact at least several people have had sex in the steam rooms and half of the people I have brought down to use the hot tub have gone away with horrible full body rashes, likely because at night people will party in it, messing up the PH of the water in the process. The complex cant clean the pools fast enough to contain the health hazard. I know they party because my rooms window faces the pool, forcing me to wear earplugs every night.When I first moved in I was paying a decently competitive price, and they gave me a gift card that I used to help pay that first months rent. However, before the first year got out and before they had even finished building most of the amenities around the building, they required that we sign up for the next year within a month or they couldnt guarantee that we would be able to live in the same room as last year which was super messed up because I signed this lease with 3 other friends, and having one of us booted out into another room of the building just for a rando to fill the room was unacceptable, so we had no choice but to sign up. That price remained on the high end, nearly $700, while new move-ins were getting prices like $625. So they hike prices up for return tenants and lower it a ton for new residents!The building looks cheap on the inside and feels cheap too, Ive frequently had things break on me living here. My sink has flooded 3 times, the header above my bed fell on my twice while I was trying to sleep so I stopped putting it back up, our AC froze into a solid brick of ice twice, and our ac was even switched for a while with our upstairs neighbors (we controlled theirs/they controlled ours). The water is never hot enough and always lukewarm, at best. Its also really easy to take the peepholes out of the doors and I feel like that is a serious security vulnerability for the main area of everyones rooms.Cleanliness is a huge issue in this building that needs to be addressed. The people living here dont respect the building and expect staff to clean up after them, but the place just doesnt have enough janitors for that. People leave their trash bags outside their rooms, in the stairwell, and in big piles in the trash room when it clogs up. (pics) There are messes everywhere and dog poop litters the ground around just about every door to the outside.The events they do are cute but they cut into your rent and recently I had to get my car from the impound lot for $300 because I forgot West Edge was throwing a dumb carnival in the parking lot with a single DJ and game for people to play. (pics)FIRE ALARMS. PEOPLE KEEP PULLING THE ALARM, ESPECIALLY ON HOLIDAYS AND BUSY SCHOOL NIGHTS. One night some dude even ran down the hallway drunk spraying noxious fire extinguisher gas and forced the entire complex to evacuate for 2.5hrs in the dead of night to get it aired out. (pics) Not to mention that despite the people below me working for the front desk, they throw parties that shake our entire apartment, so you can say goodbye to sleep if you choose to live in frat party hell!If you go to UCCS you can save on parking if youre willing to take the walk uphill. Getting your own room with its own lock and bathroom/shower is awesome, but since there is no age restriction, despite being marketed primarily to students there are 60+ year olds and families living here, which would be weird to be matched with as a young student.Consider yourself warned.

West Edge apartments is a wonderful apartment complex. Not only are the employees inviting, Valerie in particular, but the accommodations they provide their tenets with are amazing. I would highly recommend anyone in the Colorado Springs area to take a tour and look into the rates offered. Close to UCCS, trails, and being on Austin Bluffs Parkway offers so much more than just the complex itself.

My son Will has enjoyed living at West Edge. Apartments are nice, reasonably priced, and the close proximity to campus is great.

Cole is a welcoming face I am always happy to see at the front desk.

Poor management and customer skills, the pool has given people infections, the hallways are filthy for the price you pay and staff has walked into apartments without residents knowing.

Horrible staff, the garage door has been broken for longer then it has ever been fixed, the hallways are always dirty, there are about 10 visitor parking spots with how many residents??? 10 times that?? I dont know what kind of business they are running but it sure isnt a good one. Dont live here. End of story.If you are running a business, you definitely do not want visitors writing bad reviews about YOUR business because you lose credibility that way.

I have really enjoyed living here. It is close to campus, convenient, and full of great amenities. The front desk staff are all great, but I especially love Valerie. I see her all the time and love my interactions with her. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

I have not been to West edge much but the few times that I have been there I had a really good time. Mainly due to William being able to show me everything there is to offer, including the game room where we were able to play Xbox.

As a friend of several residents, I would NEVER consider living at this place. I have known people who have lived here since West Edge was built, and the place deteriorates each year. The most unpleasant experience I have had with West Edge took place yesterday. They have four visitor spots for 600+ residents, and think that is an appropriate number. No one was at the front desk at 6pm though they state office hours to be until 7pm and it was not possible to attain a visitor pass for our vehicle. They have a very close relationship with a tow company (I am sure they split the profit from the outrageous tow of $255.60) and by the time we left at 10:30pm, our vehicle had been towed. Let me also add that they are not clear whatsover about a towing company on their website and if you enter a side door, you will never see a sign about being towed. This was a first time visit for my friend who drove and West Edge lacks common decency to give a warning to anyone who is parked in the wrong spot. On top of that, they continue to tow when their residency is down to less than 25% of people actually living there due to COVID. Their lack of morals and care for their residents and guests is evident as they continue to rip off anyone they can during not only a pandemic, but a national crisis. Thanks for nothing and being a tactless business.

West Edge is great for students. You must understand that these apartments are aimed towards a student demographic. With that being said Ive enjoyed the fact that I can walk to class and have the option of all the pool and gym. I recommend living with your friends because it will make the experience better. I did dock 2 stars because I had my bike stolen from the garage earlier in the year, but they have seemed to be doing better with security since then. 3 out of 5.

The location is super convenient for someone who doesn’t have a car. The pool is nice and it’s awesome having a gym within walking distance. There’s some cool event hosted right in the complex and it has a great view! All the hang out areas are great for get togethers. And the parking garage that goes to your floor is super nifty! Great student living and a great first apartment

I’ve got to say, I am impressed by the staff in the leasing office. They are quick to provide an answer, or to direct you to the person who can best help. Must other places seem way to impersonal. In spite of the stresses that come with re-locating, this group know what they are doing.
