My husband and both sons have gone here two or three times. I had my doubts after the first couple times but after the last time we are done! All three of them came home looking like I had cut their hair!!! No one would ever want that to happen. This goes beyond the bad covid cut. My poor child looks like someone was blindfolded and given scissors. Seriously, wtaf?

I used to love this place, always got good haircuts for a good price but the last two times Ive gone (first at interquest, second at academy) the haircuts have been absolute garbage, and definitely wont be coming back after the girl tacked on a tip without asking. She made it 25 bucks, I always get it done for 20 and add 5 for a tip, but she just made it 25 and didnt even let me sign the receipt when I paid with a card. Sketchy stuff. A good place that went downhill via the entitlement of the next generation. Pretty sad.

Lady Janes is a great place for any haircut you could possibly need. The staff is professional and very skilled. Ive loved every haircut Ive ever had from Lady Janes! I also have a special needs son that has sensory issues and he loves going only to Lady Janes.

Came in as a walk in since the sign in the window says Walk ins Accepted”. After waiting 20 mins (in an empty room) I was told rather rudely by the hairdresser that she was completely booked for the rest of the evening. You might want to reconsider the signs that state we deserve to be treated like a king” because I most certainly was not. Also the Walkins Accepted sign if you dont accept walk-ins...

Stopped by as a walk in. Was told there was a two hour wait, although there were two stylists in the store and one customer besides myself. When I pointed this out I was asked to leave, which I did. The stylist chased me into the parking lot and said never come back and that they were calling the police. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never raised my voice or used profanity, saving that for their corporate offices.

After reading the reviews you can easily tell the only positive ones are fake comments from corporate bots trying to push up the ratings . Im glad I looked at the reviews, I will now make sure to avoid this establishment.

I came here a couple of times and it was great.. but I went in a couple weeks ago to get my haircut and (idk if it’s just the lighting in the place or what) it was absolutely horrible. A little while after I left I started to notice long hairs on my head and that my haircut was choppy/horrible looking. I went back and paid another $40 to have it cut even shorter. It was still choppy and absolutely terrible. I ended up having to take clippers to my own head to get rid of the long hairs and make it to where it wasn’t choppy. I have literally cut my own hair better than these barbers. I will not be going back and spending $30 - $40 (this is including a decent tip) for a haircut that looks absolutely wretched. I could probably get better quality at great clips sadly.

Lady Janes was phenomenal! I have a husband and 3 sons- we took them all in for a haircut at once. They were punctual with the time for getting our family in, they were kind, listened to what we wanted for all of the 4 haircuts and they came out phenomenal! My husband has probably the best haircut Ive ever seen on him. So impressed and will continue to give them my business!

Went to get a walk in cut for my 5 year old and only 1 stylist had a client, the other one asked if I had an appointment and I said no and she said she was booked the rest of the day, even though nobody was there and it was 20 till 11. Guess she just wanted to look at more facebook before her next appointment.

My son and I had the best experience there. We both got haircuts. I am horrible with names. I had a younger woman with black hair cut my hair she was outstanding. Another woman cut my sons hair she did a great job. I will definitely be back when I come back to Colorado Springs.

Got a haircut and shampoo from Morgan today, she did a great job with my difficult hair. It was a very smooth and easy process, only waited about 15 min and the place was packed. Thank you for the great cut and service Morgan and Lady Janes, Ill be back soon.

I received a low effort and low quality haircut--which is surprising considering I was literally the only customer in the store.I would not return to this location nor would I recommend to a friend.

I and my son had an amazing experience. We have been here to this location a few times and honestly its hit or miss on the service but today the staff seemed to be on point and did a GREAT job. Bethany was my stylist and was a pleasure to chat with while she cut my hair and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. I cant remember the name of my sons stylist here but she as well treated him GREAT He is never happy with his haircut but today was a great experience for him. I arrived a 40mins before they closed, and signed into their system like they asked me too, and the system said I could choose the first available or my choice of hairstylisy. I then sat down, with nobody in the waiting area. A woman then appeared and asked if I had an appoiment and I told her no, but I signed in. She then, in no polite way said, Well we have appointments, and we will not take anyone else. I thought you were him. She didnt ask my name to verify or anything, and I probably was. Her attitude was totally unacceptable. After a brief discussion about the info I entered into the computer, she was completly rude, and in the middle of me asking her for a managers info or someone elses, she picked up the phone and walked away as if I were not even there. I talked to the other hairstylist and explained the situation, she apologized and went back to talk to the prior person. The first woman came back out, handed me a post-it with a persons info and said to call. I replied it is really sad that you treat people thia way. She responded back, again rudely and sarcastically I am sorry you feel this way. I told her, Me too. As I opened the door, and was leaving she then insulted me.From other comments I am reading the disrespect and poor customer sercice is Trend. Maybe at just the N. Academy location, but I do not know. Probably avoid this establishment for less angst.

High quality cuts here! Very professional staff. Finally a place that wont break your pockets. Customers attended to right away. A wide variety of good music. Not so loud where you cant be in a conversation. Ask for Melanie. You will definitely be in good hands.

Ashley is my normal barber. She is fantastic at her job. I got there to get a strat blade cut. She very professional and knows her stuff be going to her for months I recommend if your going bald and you want a good strat blade cut go to Ashley thank you for all your hard work.

Horrible, do not bother if you are looking for on time, professional service. Had to be asked 3x if I had an appt after showing up early for said appt and they still took someone else at my time with no comments or explanation.

My favorite hair stylist in the whole city started working at Lady Janes a few weeks ago, and it was recently time for my next haircut. So although it was a bit longer of a drive for me, I went to Lady Janes for the first time two days ago. What a great bunch of people, and a fun atmosphere to boot. You feel immediately welcome. And something I really love? You can make an appointment for a specific time and not worry about having to wait. But of course the best thing of all was my beloved Alex (Alexandria). I will never be handsome (especially at this age), but Alex does make me look my best! She is superb, and she loves working in her new location. If you are looking for a great salon and a superb stylist, make an appointment with Alex at Lady Janes!

I got one of the packages that included shampoo, neck shave and massage. Everything was great, but it was not the same quality as a professional massage

Clean, friendly and experienced hairdressers. Alex is my favorite. Ive been going to her for about 4 years now and Ive never experienced a bad cut. I live way south of Lady Janes, but its worth the drive if you have a good hairstylist. Alex is courtesy and listens to what you want, not what they want. Ask for Alex, I promise you wont be sorry. I was impressed with the level of attention given to my haircut, much better than a couple of the other barber shops I have tried. However, I was surprised when my barber said she had never heard of a military style fade, and so i had to walk her step by step through how it is done.

Waited for over an hour for a 1pm appointment. Won’t be back. Cool looking place and cheaper than my normal spot, doesn’t matter when I wasted my entire lunch break waiting for my appointment. A call ahead to move my appointment would have been appropriate if it’s that busy.

The haircuts are a good price, the service was fast. They offer beard and mustache services, but we didnt take advantage of them. The waiting area has leather armchairs and is probably the most comfortable salon waiting area Ive ever been in. I took one star off because my husband had a difficult time convincing the stylist that he wanted a non-traditional haircut. But we did walk out with what he wanted, so all was good in the end.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I mean it. You will walk out of here thinking you would have been better off cutting your own hair. The ladies here have zero respect for anyone. They judge you the moment you walk in. They love to play favorites with their customers, so if you dont come here we often, or if they think you wont tip them, be certain you will get the least amount of effort.

Just completed another fantastic hair cut at Lady Janes. Amber, cut, styled and washed my hair on both occasions. During the second visit, she massaged my scalp with there badass mint shampoo and conditioner.Overall, Amber was very approachable, courteous, skilled, excellent in listening to details and follow through while styling my hair on both occasions and patient with my very-lack-of-styling knowledgeThank You very much for your excellent customer service.

Asked for a simple haircut. Came out looking like the flock of seagulls were having a reunion. Girls hands were shaking the entire time. Poked me in the eye numerous times with her finger nails. Told me Im still learning how to style mens hair. Are you kidding me?!?! Thats your job. Now have to go somewhere else and have them fix it. Worst place in town. I will never be back and will tell everyone on every platform I can to never go there.

Inexpensive cuts with friendly service. I always walk in and have never waited longer than 10 minutes. They play trendy music and are always playing sports on the TVs. The stylists are chatty and do a decent job, my few haircuts there have ranged from mediocre to excellent.

Im not normally one for extravagant pampering; I usually just want a haircut. My last visit to Lady Janes, however, I decided to go all in and get the Kings Treatment. Mist made the experience something I wouldnt mind doing more often, despite the price. I was quite relaxed when I left after nearly an hour in her care.

Comparable to Floyds but cheaper. A/C was broken when we were here. Long waits, needs more staff.UPDATE - Recently returned for quick haircut and second chance (Sport Clips had a ridiculous wait over 1 hour with 2 staff and a full waiting area 😲), called ahead to get in queue.This experience was 1000X better! Upgraded stars to 5/5 from 3/5. Still needs improvement in waiting area due to limited number of chairs in waiting area, but really, these chairs are very comfortable! Much better than the folding chairs at the other guys. Plus, you get a better price for more services. Everything is included!

The ladys here seen to be irritated by customers. Have been here a couple of times now. Keep hoping it will get better. Location is everything and they are conveniently located. The absolute worse haircut I have ever gotten. I was left completely unsatisfied and looking like a mess. The stylists do not care nor do they take into fact what a customer may want. I got a simple haircut with a picture to help from the start. It makes me wonder if they even care.

The first time I went I got my hair cut with Wanda. She was an amazing barber and I loved her but she moved away. The 2nd time the haircut was good but the barber was rough. Third time I went was near close. I don’t know if she just wanted to leave, but she was rushing and I got literally cut all across the back of my neck and the sides of my head by the top of my ears. She also didn’t even out my sideburns. My neck is still red and raw writing this review which is 7 hours after my hair cut.

This was my second time here. First time there Kelli gave me a great haircut so I asked for her again. She wasnt in so Kimberly took care of me. If I was impressed with Kellis work last time, Kimberly blew me away. Both women did awesome jobs, definitely going back.

Have been at this location twice. First time getting my haircut was decent. Second time was worse. Lady trimmed one side of sideburns-left a clump of shaving cream behind ear-left stray hairs in hard part. Both haircuts given by same hair stylist. Will find another place for haircuts.

Asked for a pretty simple hair cut and felt like the lady was confident in doing what I had requested. When it was all said and don’t it was not even close to what I asked for. She basically gave me a crew cut and when I asked about the hard part she replied, “I don’t care for hard parts. But if you want it we can do it, I think it looks fine. You could always get one next time.” When I got home she missed spots all over the back of my head. And had to go to another place to get it fixed. The girl who cut my hair was completely unprofessional and couldn’t stop talking about how much she likes to drink. I do not recommend this place at all!!! DONT DO IT!!

Returned to Lady Janes after a break following a poor haircut, had Kelly as a stylist and she was fantastic! Amazing experience and great haircut. If you are like me and stopped coming after a bad experience I would recommend taking another look!

Been getting my haircut here since this building opened,without appointments. Was turned down today for not having an appointment told to come back 5 and a half hours later. There are two customers in the building. Along with a walk in welcome sign. I hate to play the you lost my business sign, but you lost my business.

Never had a bad hair cut been going for 3 years

It is a super convenient place (most of the time), but It is too hit or miss to get a quality hair cut. I had mentioned this on their Instagram page, and they hid the comment. I figured I would let the google world know. The last girl I saw was complaining about need a break. She was tired, said about 4 words to me, and surprisingly did not offer any add ons. Not a good look when you are cutting someones hair. I have been going for about 2 years, but I think my time is done.

Stylist apparently didnt listen when I asked for a clean-up. She just went heavy and gave me a military stylehaircut. Way too close on the sides and too short over all. Its going to take about three-four weeks to begin to fill back in; in the meantime a hat is in order. I first heard about Lady Janes on AM radio and thought it was worth a try; but was unaware of the subtle up-sell for everything bit the basic haircut. I regret trying Lady Janes and had more faith in the recommendation of the radio personality who advertises for them. In all good conscience, I cannot recommend Lady Janes, there are many better places in Colorado Springs to get a haircut.

Each time I go to Lady Janes in Colorado Springs I always ask for Kelly who time after time gives a great cut! She’s very personable and a great conversationalist. I highly recommend Lady Jane’s. It’s a fun atmosphere with young people, can’t wait to be back!

Im sorry.. did i just step back to Pre-K.. still asked for payment.. itll be another 2 weeks before i can get it fixed by a licensed professional..

My husband ended up with very obviously uneven sideburns, huge missed spots from his shave, and a horrible cut. One stylist said she plays NSFW music to keep people from bringing their brats. My cut was also very uneven and eyebrows were not done properly. I tipped both stylists in hopes that they go to T&G or PM for better training as we definitely will never be back. Students at local schools are much better and much more deserving of good tips. Horribly ran business with horrible service. Enjoy the hot towel. I hear thats the only good thing to be had.

Great experiences for my son and I. Priced very well and they always get us in with or without an appointment. Staff is friendly and the shop is clean. I would recommend this location to anyone.

First hair cut I got was awesome. I got my hair and beard colored at the same time and I liked the results. But the next time I got someone else and suddenly it got VERY expensive for what I thought was the same thing. And it didnt look as good. Third time got yet someone else and just a cut. I didnt like the cut, but at least it was cheap this time.It just seems that the price when I check out doesnt match the prices on the wall.

I followed my hair stylist Sissy to this location. I was hesitant because its a mens shop. The atmosphere is great and I have a beautiful style and received so many compliments. Highly recommend.

Took my son before picture day. Asked for fade. It came out pretty choppy lots of long sprouts sporadically through the top. Did not live up to the hype I heard on the radio. I try not to judge by appearances but the hairstylist looked pretty homely, scraggly hair with a stained baggy T-shirt on. If you work for a business you need to look professional

Absolute garbage! Do not go here! My husband went to get a haircut here for the first time and Im just shocked at the way they let him leave the salon. The lady had no idea what she was doing. He wanted a low fade and the rest blended. She shaved all of his hair off left the top long and said ok done. And had the nerve to say it looks like the picture. What a joke!

Like the shop and the atmosphere just wish hubs would have got a better stylist that was not more concerned with coloring her hair then doing a good job on his hair and beard. She made his beard look all jacked and I still get the hear about it 2 months later.

Girl cutting my hair was nice, but she put a gouge in the hair on side of my head. Dont really appreciate paying $20 for a hack job. Also when they opened about a year ago the price was $5 cheaper.

I had to walk out, waited 30 minutes as a walk-in with only 3 people ahead of me. Someone with an appointment was 15 minutes late, but still got to be first in line. I was told it will be ANOTHER 30 minutes to wait. I asked why its taking so long, the hair stylist said Blame it on our manager, that didnt come into work today. Right when I thought I found a decent place for a haircut!!!!

Lady didn’t talk to me at all and didn’t listen to want I wanted. Just pay extra to go somewhere where they’re not awful people

I recently moved out to Colorado Springs and I was a bit nervous to go to a different barber. I heard about Lady Janes on the radio so I figured Id give it a shot. Makayla did an excellent job! Great atmosphere and great service.

You get what you pay for here. Low cost but very basic and non attentive staff.

Went and saw Jaci, she was really nice and gave me a great haircut. I was in and out in under half an hour, with a great haircut, a shampoo and condition, a neckline shave, and a neck massage. Highly recommend.
