I didnt expect such a botched job from someone who has been licensed for a decade. Management needs to contact me for a refund. The way my cut was executed is not acceptable.

I have been to Floyds before at another shop BC (Before COVID). This visit I challenged Schey with three objectives: 1. Reinvent my hair style as I reenter the processional world, 2. Eliminate the combover where my forehead is racing toward my expanding male pattern baldness, and 3. Make it look like I care what my hair looks like. She succeded in all 3, which I thought was impossible at 66 years old. It really bolstered my self-confidence as I head out to pitch my start-up to a market where my background means nothing - scary. I tried to get a hair cut at this place on the fly. They had 3-4 barbers in there with 30 minutes to close and no other customers. I told them the cut I wanted and they said thatll take 45 minutes and we close in 30, sorry. I was pretty shocked. I went to super cuts and they completed the same cut in 25 min... Was looking forward to finding a new barber with a cool atmosphere but not with that kind of service!

Really disappointed in the haircut that I got today. I tried several times to tell the stylist what I want but she didnt seem to listen and wouldnt adjust accordingly. Ended up walking out with a haircut that was not at all what I was asking for as well as covered in all of the hair clippings.Edit: After calling the shop for a resolution, I was placed on hold in the middle of my first few words to whoever picked up the phone and then disconnected shortly after. I called back and was able to talk to someone but was unable to book an appointment as soon as I would have hoped. I am not satisfied for having to work around their schedule for their mistake. After this fix, this will probably be my last visit to Floyds. I am disappointed to go after having been a customer of this location for 6+ years but the quality of haircuts, services, and pricing has declined greatly over the past few years.

Itd been a while since I got a decent haircut. The staff in the business was friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable. My barber was professional and polite. She told me exactly what she was doing and why. She gave good recommendations when asked.My haircut ended up being very good, very precise, and better than Ive had since moving here. I will definitely go back. The price for a haircut, wash and style for me, a guy with short hair, came to about 25 bucks. Very reasonable.

I have had plenty of haircuts here and not one has been bad. However, just today I had the most meticulous well done haircut I think I have ever had. Everything from the thorough understanding of what I wanted all the way through the very methodical way of cutting, all the way through to putting extra time into styling when the product was applied. ERIN, is likely going to be the only one I go to in the future. Once you get a haircut from her, it is likely you will be unable to settle for anyone else as well.

I started going to Floyds about 2 years ago. Ive been to the powers location as well as the N. Academy location and let numerous stylists cut my hair. However, Maddie is by far and away the most talented and friendly among the group. Shes the only person Ill let touch my hair now. Bonus points because she gives amazing shampoo/head massages.

I came in for a haircut and a shave. The haircut was fine but the shave was bad. Luke warm towels that were on and off in a flash, no letting them sit to help soften the hairs and also relax. Then the razor that was used was dull, providing a very unpleasant shave. I got 2 nicks and when I got home I could still see stubble where he missed. I have to shave again. So haircuts are fine but I would not get a shave there again. Locals does a much better shave.Update:The manager did a great job of reaching out to me and getting back in for another haircut and shave. They had me with Chris who did an excellent job. Thanks to John for the great customer service and Chris for doing a great haircut and shave the way it should be done.Update:I have seen Shayna a couple of time for a haircut and she has done a great job. I highly recommend her and will continue to give her my business.

Last week, I needed to get a last-minute haircut after I found out I was having pictures taken at work the next day. I called a couple barbershops downtown, but none were able to get me in without an appointment. Floyds was able to get me in as a walk-in at 8:30, which is very convenient when you work 8-5. I wasnt sure exactly what length I wanted my hair on the top, so I asked my stylist, Kelly, if she could just cut it to whatever length she thought looked good. She was personable, professional, and did an amazing job with my haircut. The next day, my photographer and co-workers all told me how great my hair looked (and who doesnt want to hear that?) and asked where I got it done. On top of everything, I only paid $35 for services that cost me at least $60 at other barbers around town. I would definitely recommend Floyds for a barbershop, and Kelly as a stylist. Thank you, again!

I like getting my hair cut here but they are often crowded. Also some of the staff can be unprofessional and come off as lazy. But overall they give a pretty good cut and if you make an appointment they keep to it. Most Sundays they dont do appointments. Also they may close early or stop taking walk ins early.

I really like this location. It did not take long for this to become my only hair place in the north Springs. I went here for three years straight before I moved. Never once had a bad cut. The app for booking an appointment is easy to use and with an appointment I never waited more than 5 minutes. They do get busy so without an appointment I probably waited 15 minutes a couple times. The prices are reasonable considering the professionalism of all the barbers/stylist. So many people (especially the employees) have incredibly interesting hair.

Recently moved to Colorado Springs and needed to find a new barber shop. This location is close to home and Ive heard great things about the staff so I decided to give it a shot. Fast forward 6 months and I can say that I absolutely love this place. Brett is amazing. He always takes time to explain my options and helps me consider what would look best and meet my needs. Hes always super friendly and strikes up a fun conversation. The entire staff is friendly and works hard to make sure customers have a great experience. I would highly recommend checking out this barber shop, and would encourage you to ask for Brett.

Went to Floyds for the first time yesterday at the N. Academy location and instantly fell in love with the vibes in there. All the stylists get to wear what they want and all of them looked well groomed, the music was a great mix up of good tunes,and the decor was very fun and enticing. I was going in for a dye job so its nice to be in such a comfortable environment since its a long process. My stylist was Haley and I am so happy I let her do my hair. I dont do things for myself often and it had been 3 years since Ive even gone anywhere for a cut but Haley blew my expectations. We went from brown to a very fiery red with hints of orange and yellow and its 100% fire. Ive already gotten so many compliments on it. I feel very sexy and confident now when Im going out. Thank you for giving me an amazing new style to match my fiery personality.

Brett is very attentive to my needs and always asks before, during, and after about how I want my hair. He isnt afraid to share his opinion on what may or may not work and will offer suggestions. In the end it is still my decision but he doesnt want you to leave his chair with something you did not want or ask for. Brett is great at holding a conversation. It is best to go online and schedule an appt. They are always busy. The staff is always polite and helpful. The shop is always clean and the music is a good mix of Indy, Rock, and Pop.

Came in the other day for a quick cut and Allie W. was great! I tend not to be a big fan of my hair as I have one huge cowlick, but Allie tamed the beast and recommend some product that has been working great and keeping that cowlick in check!

I made an appointment last Monday and had a terrific experience with Rae at first, I asked to go a lot shorter from mid back hair to a bob above my shoulders. She was super sweet and quick and when she said she was done I asked if we could take it another inch or two on the length and layers, since it was still to my shoulders. She took some off the length but said the layers would look too short and weird. I said I was okay with that, she cut some more, put some product in it, puffed it up and blow dried it and kept going on about how perfect it looked. I was super thankful and left, came home, brushed it out, and it was still past my shoulders. I called immediately and asked if I could come in one of the next few days to get another inch or two off, they put me in for Wednesday at 4:30 and said it’d be free to fix. I planned on tipping generously for being a pain and looked forward to Wednesday.Flash forward to Wednesday, I show up at 4:25 and the lady up front is already frowning before I speak. I say I’m here for Rae at 4:30. She clicks around on the computer and says that Rae went home sick, I’ll be with another girl. I say that’s fine, then she gets real uppitty and says my appointment “isn’t even til 5:30.” I was stunned, but said I’d be back in an hour. I come back an hour later and the girl that has me sit in the chair is super friendly, but mentions before the cape is on that I should tip because this haircut is going to be free. I show her a picture and she’s excited, going on about how “they never let me cut women’s hair,” so I’m excited too because I feel like she’s going to do a great job. She starts cutting and says she will bring it up to my chin. An hour passes and she’s still talking and cutting the back. I’m a little concerned because with Rae I was in and out in thirty minutes and this girl is just snipping tiny pieces away, so I show a picture again making sure to say I don’t want it angled or anything just the layers all around. She assures me it’s going well and gets really quiet...for another hour of cutting. It’s now 7:15 and she still hasn’t touched my bangs or the sides. She frequently says she’s just going to “touch up and even the layers” and I keep saying thank you and ruffling my wallet but she’s still cutting the back. She comes around the sides at 7:30 then goes back to the back saying it’s still uneven. At this point the other barbers, and the front desk lady with the weird attitude, keep looking at me in the mirror with disgruntled faces. Finally at 7:45 she hands me the mirror and says take a look. I just give her 15$ for the tip since I’m not going to not pay her for her time, and go to the car to see the back of my head is cut in a pixie cut with long hair on the top. I can’t even describe how angry I was, my hair looks like an awful man’s haircut with long pieces on top and almost nothing on the entire back of my head.For someone who has a hard time finding a good stylist I was severely disappointed. The place seems so cool and everybody was super nice but to have someone first tell you a simple bob won’t look good on you to someone taking 2 and almost a half hours to butcher two years of growth into absolutely nothing made it the worst haircut of my entire life (and I’ve had some bad ones, trust me). It’s also pretty infuriating to be told something was done and it absolutely was not. I don’t have enough hair to fix it and I know it’ll grow back but just a warning to anybody going there please make sure you watch every second of what’s going on and be very upfront otherwise you are going to be in the exact same boat.

Was able to get a hair cut without waiting long so that was awesome, I’ll give that 5/5 stars. But I didn’t get the hair cut I wanted. Felt sad and depressed after the hair cut. I just wanted to cut the sides of my hair and let the top grow, but was told if I get my sides cut they need to cut the top as well which didn’t make any sense to me. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again...probably not the right barber shop for me.

The best color I have ever had done. Miss Misha was very sweet, and has every making of the most professional salonist in all of Colorado. From a dark brunette, she fixed all of my old coloring pieces and gave me a beautiful blend of dark, medium, and light tones. She also fixed my hair with a quick trim and cleaned up all of my split ends. Will be coming back as a regular customer! They have great discounts as well, for first timers and their product lines.

Loved the atmosphere. Loved the music they played. Cool staff. And Megan cut my sons hair and she did the best job. She was so nice and calm with him. Normally he freaks out when getting his hair cut since he is only 2. But she was able to make him laugh and was able to get his hair cut with no fuss.
