VERY positive experience buying my car through them, as well as having my other car repaired by them. Very affordable prices for car repairs as well as car sales. Family owned/operated and it shows...in a good way. Small shop with few employees that interact wonderfully with each other and the customers. I wish I had found them so much sooner 😁. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of, or being talked down to just because Im a woman. Every person I talked to there (including the mechanics themselves) were so friendly and smiley 😀. I highly recommend them

Impressed!!! My wife and I were on vacation from Tulsa when several warning lights came on at once in our Subaru. I call Sabaru Motors and spoke with one of the technicians (I wish I remembered his name). He said he would work me in for an analysis of the car. He immediately checked out the car determined the cause, and within 30 minutes, we were good to go. Thank you so much for your professionalism and expertise. Colorado Springs has a very high quality import repair center. Thanks again.

I suggest that you take Saab out of your brand name and off of your website, because its clear that you dont want the business. The man I spoke to on the phone was very rude, trash talked his customers, and openly admitted that they price their services higher than anyone else because they dont want to work on the cars. I understand that businesses have the right to choose their customers, but you shouldnt advertise services that you dont want to perform, and you definitely shouldnt talk about your customers like that just because they own a car from a specific brand.

I took a potential new vehicle for an inspection. While I have no idea what preventative and repair service is like here, I can elaborate on the inspection. Since Im buying a performance Subaru, I figured this shop could provide much better insight than the run-of-the-mill shop. I paid $99.83 for the woman at the front desk to tell me, He said that it looks good. There was no inspection report, and no other feedback. The seller told me that he noticed a slight oil leak in one of the valve covers the night before but this was not mentioned. Maybe it wasnt leaking during the inspection, maybe they didnt do $99.83 worth of inspecting - I have no feedback. I asked to speak to the tech and he did come out but didnt have much to add. He gave me the sense that he didnt really try that hard and wasnt anticipating that the customer might be skeptical that a 14 year old, 145k mileage performance car might not be in perfect mechanical shape. I probably wont be taking any cars here in the future. To the owners who read this - Im not mad. Giving me a checklist with all the features that were inspected with some notes wouldve paid enormous dividends. The shop seemed nice and professional but I couldve had some kid right out of school at Jiffy Lube tell me that Everything looks good for much less. I only urge you to be a bit better.***UPDATE 4/3/1018****I bought the car and so far Ive had to take care of two pending recalls and a cracked fuel pump assembly cap that was leaking gasoline at higher pressures.

Ive been using this place for over five years. Theyre honest and will take the time to explain whats going on with your car as long as youre willing to take the time to listen. I know technology is changing who can do what to a car, sometimes I call ahead and ask if a repair is something they can do or if I need to take it to the dealer, which saves me time. I used to split my maintenance between Sabaru and the dealers, but I take my car almost exclusively to Sabaru because their service has proven to be more knowledgeable, better at explaining issues, and more honest.

First time here. A younger man test drove my car but couldnt get it to make the noise I had heard. The technician sat down with me and discussed possible causes and answered all my questions. I will be returning when my car starts making the noise again. Appreciated their honesty and time dedicated to addressing customer concerns.

Bottom line: the mechanics are competent and friendly, but the owner cares nothing about customer service, bad-months his own staff, and took my money while leaving the car more broken than when I left it. Avoid this place.I brought my car into Sabaru Import Motors for some help getting a tough bolt removed. I chose Sabaru because they are literally two buildings down from my garage, and they seemed to have some good reviews. I bent over backwards to make it easy by bringing the car over with a lot of parts removed in order to make access to the offending bolt as easy as possible. After six hours of labor on it, I got a call that it was finished. When I brought the car back home, I realized that they had merely broken the bolt off and left part of it stuck in the engine. I went back and had a friendly chat with the mechanic, who readily admitted his mistake and we made plans for me to bring the car back so he could finish the job. A minute after I got home, the owner of the shop called me and said that they would not work on the car anymore and that they shouldnt have worked in it in the first place (despite all of the friendly conversations that I had had earlier with his staff). He refused to issue a refund and resorted to name-calling and actual threats when I tried to reason with him. Ive had to file a dispute with my bank on the payment (thank goodness I didnt pay with cash). Now Im stuck with a car that I cant drive anywhere, and Im going to have to pay a lot to get it fixed somewhere else. Avoid these guys unless you want your vehicle to be more broken than when you dropped it off, and then be threatened with the police if you want to come back to talk to the mechanic. In the photos you can see the part of the bolt that is still left in the engine, and the broken bolt next to the new replacement bolt.

I say give this place a call just as a funny social experiment. The owner is actually hilariously rude, and short. It was so uncanny that I was not actually as offended as I was entertained. Owner, if youre reading this: never change, man. Never change.

Friendly....but appear to cut corners on their mechanical work just to sell the car. Be sure to look real close under the hood and do your research on the vehicle youre interested in purchasing as they no longer offer warranties on the car, the repaired part, or their work!

I’ve used this place for years and I’ve always gotten good service. But, now (spring 2018), they are also selling cars. So what was a little strange was that they wanted to do a $2000 repair on my car for a small oil leak. But then they offered to buy my car at $2000 below blue book. It is a beautiful car in excellent condition. So, I had to consider whether the fox was in the chicken house. It seems like a huge conflict of interest to be telling me that my beautiful car has such serious problems but that they will buy it.....and I’m not sure if I can trust them. I am not saying that there was anything dishonest about them; I am just saying that the offer made me uncomfortable.

I have owned Subarus for the last 20 years. I have been taking my cars to Sabaru for about the last 18 years. Sabaru has performed almost every basic maintenance on my cars (every 5k miles), and they have performed every single major maintenance (every 30k miles). They employ honest mechanics, have friendly service, and they really know the cars they work on. I cant say enough how happy I have been with Sabaru over the years.

Took our 2011 Forester in for a radiator leak. They said that the radiator had to be replaced and could not be repaired. Ok, I accepted that. The next day they called and said we needed a new motor with a cost between $12K and $15K. They said that car would not last through the summer. I took the car to the Subaru dealer and they found nothing wrong. I waited months before posting this review. We made it through the summer and the car is still running strong. I dont know what is going on here but this place scared me for nothing and I will never go back. The Subaru is still running strong in 2019, same motor.

Being from out of state and experiencing an automotive emergency can be a frustrating and frightening ordeal. After seeing other reviews, I gave Sabaru a call. The young lady on the phone was friendly and supportive and offered me an appointment a few hours later. I was greeted warmly and explained my situation--my trunk wouldnt lock shut. They took my information and took my car back. I wasnt in the waiting area long when the mechanic popped in and asked me to come back with him. Panic entered my very soul at that moment. He took me to my trunk and shone his light to show me that in all my moving and box packing, my emergency release had been engaged and needed resetting--a face-slappingly easy solution to my very stressful endeavor (another dealer had quoted me at $250) He laughed with me and I thanked him with a mix of embarassment and relief. He told me he wasnt going to charge me, but insisted on paying him something for his time. He told me if I had any problems just to come on back. Super nice guy, very professional, great place!

Took my 2007 Subaru impreza here for a 90k service and specifically told them I did not want my oil changed as I do it myself and dont want to pay for it.I went to change my oil today and notice I cant get my filter out. This is why I do it myself because anytime its done in the shop, the filter is put in too tightly, which crushes it and makes it impossible to get out without destroying it.So not only am I now stuck doing an oil change I didnt even need, but my filter wont come out and I was charged for something I specifically asked them not to do. I contacted them and am waiting for a reply.I may update my review if they at least make an attempt to fix this for me. That will remain to be seen.

After being hung up on the first call, I was placed on hold for 5 minutes by a mechanic presumably with the second call, called back and encountered the rudest receptionist in town. She would rather be right and argue. Thanks, Ill take my money elsewhere. Zero stars if that were an option. Rude rude rude.
