I have used Block for years; employees are knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and ready to start as soon as your appointment starts. Even though they work with no wasted time, they always check to see if you understand the process or have questions.

This branch has completely turned me against using H&R Block. I filed in February and am still trying to sort through this tax year (October). We were initially told we would receive refunds from both state and federal. Turns out we owe a significant amount on both. I dont understand how they could have been so far off on what we owed because our tax papers never changed. Also, I know its no longer tax season, but trying to get in touch with someone at their office is next to impossible. Even when I did and have appointments scheduled with the head manager she was always at least 30 minutes late (save one time) and I have lost count on how many time I had to go back to their office. Just overall not a pleasant experience, more like a nightmare. Will be doing my own taxes next year and anyone elses that I know who uses H&R.
