This gym is a temple to fitness and working out. Comes with epic childcare. Loved the pool, was great for the kiddos. We used the splash and float area of the large outdoor pool.

The place is amazing! I believe its super expensive tho. because I only use the suna and pool (even though we have 1😂) and the classes Id love to try mostly happen in the day. But the staff is super friendly and if youre an exercise person like my sister then youll love it. Only down side bedsides the price is that it doesnt have a tennis court. Major number for me😟

The info on line sold me on this place. The tour was icing on the cake. During peak time there were a lot of people but because its so big and has so much theres no wait to exercise what you want. The place continues to outdo itself with its spa and cafe. I JOINED and have no regrets.

We love this gym!! So many things you can do here!! Rock climbing, outdoor water park (with water slides), a very clean gym, clean locker rooms, and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend looking into coming to Life Time Collierville!!

So, I am not a fan of gyms after going to many. However, Life Time is excellent so far.The facility is fantastic, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the price is reasonable given what is available to you.

Need to explain the same thing to everyone there to make them connected.Not getting relaxed there but getting stressed there!! They are doing the same what is requested NOT to be done. They promise and forget.It looks luxurious but makes me tired with the unprofessional management especially at the swim center. Not welcoming!!

Did the introduction tour. Amazing place with anything and everything fitness. A bit pricey at $159 a month, but apparently worth it if you can swing it.

Excellent customer service. From entering to touring with Mr. Sam, Gabby and excellent salesmanship. Mr. Latham, I want to bring everybody in. I got a great deal a family of four, depending on ages. But something from as young as maybe walking age. Call and ask questions. Hey tried my first Tabata class damn it was amazing. You ROCK Ms. Christie. Working everything. WOW

I love Life Time Fitness and would recommend it to anyone! Im very, very picky when it comes to gyms, but I love it here. Great classes and the equipment is well-maintained. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I know its a bit pricey, but I feel like I get my moneys worth. I usually cant say that about other gyms. I wish their personal training app was a bit cheaper though. I would use it if it wasnt $99 a month. Other than that, I really love it and its a great place to meet other young professionals who value physical fitness!

I’ve been a member for over 10 years and today upon trying to check myself and my daughter in, I have never been treated with less respect and courtesy. LA Fitness Collierville here we come. We have options. You do too.

The best place to workout, not noisy, no kiddos in workout areas, yoga and pilates and other aerobic classes, personal trainers aplenty for hire, 2 large swimming pools, 2 large jacuzzi tubs, twisty pool slides, sauna, eucalyptus steam room. Café with breakfast, lunch, dinner, fresh smoothies. Salon hair care. Massages range from relaxing to deep tissue torture [just kidding].

Ive been a memeber at Lifetime Collierville for three years and never had a picture taken because of religious reasons. Recently I decided to start using the almost 100 dollar 1 person membership before recently I would go maybe once every 6 months. On my 4th visit I encounter one of their fd people whom stated I dont have a picture on file. I say, I know and it is for religious reasons. FD person gets a manager whom comes to the fd and starts telling me that members are letting their cousins and friends use their membership, so they need to have a picture on file. She then tells me she is in a hurry and has to go, while I wait 15 minutes for the FD to contact another manager on the phone whom tells the fd to let me back and he will call the next day but never calls. A week later I go to the gym at 5 am with my valid dl to show that I am the person paying for the membership and was denied access to the gym because I will not let them take their own picture of me. These people have no respect for others religious beliefs! I ask for the membership to be canceled immediately and the manager tells me that I have to put in a cancelation notice at the first of the month, mind you the conversation with the manager was on the 2nd. Dont waste your money with them! These are bad people....

It is one of my favorite places. The staff is super friendly, and I always feel welcome in the new classes that I try. It is immaculately cleaned throughout the day, and I feel very safe working out there during this pandemic.

Customer Service here is AWFUL. If I could give it no stars, I would. I am a college student facing severe financial struggles during this pandemic. I have had my account on hold for the past two months, and I sent in a hold request as well as a cancellation for this membership, since I cant afford it right anymore and Im going back to college in January in Illinois. Kera told me, very rudely, may I add, that my hold was cancelled since I want to terminate my membership, so thats why I was charged. I asked kindly for a refund because I will not be visiting the gym, yet she refused and was very snarky. Cant believe I didnt listen to the reviews before. Horrible service, horrible staff.

The facility is great. Can’t say the same about staff. No customer service and the trainers have a sense that they are better than you. They talk down to you even when you aren’t training with a trainer. Waiting on management to call me back. Hope they do. I don’t want to leave but something has to change.

Wide selection of group fitness classes. Always up-to-date equipment, beautiful facilities. Really great cleaning procedures. Easy to use app. My favorite instructors over the last four years have been Jane L. (Cardio), Lisa M. (Zumba), and Monique W. & Stacey M. (Dance Jam). Kids academy really made it possible for me to get back into shape after having kids and they enjoy fun fitness too! Kids’ fave have been rockwall, gymnastics, and sport skills.

My wife and I have worked at and belonged to many gyms in our life and this is one of the best. Lots of first rate equipment. Huge facility with lots to do. Great staff who are very professional. Love this place! They have it all. Great job guys. Keep up the great work. Haven’t learned every bodies names yet but thumbs up to: Dayton, Barb, Kris, Tony, James, Bryan, Justin and his sister, and about 6 others I’m trying to learn their names but I’m getting old so give me a break. 😜

You would think considering the times and current environment, this gym would be trying to keep the few members they have instead of pushing them away. Everyone from management to front desk personnel are incompetent, not honest, and are not transparent with enforcing lifetime policy. Save your money and go to la fitness, same gym vibes plus cheaper.

The facility is immaculately clean, they have areas marked to help with social distancing and their customer service is top notched. There are many classes to choose from. Its a wonderful place to get and or stay fit and healthy!

Last night was the first time I attended Lifetime Fitness! I was so excited! As I pulled into the parking lot my vehicle hydroplaned into the building due to the massive amount of water in the parking lot from the sprinkler system. I was able to eventually park my car in a nice spot in the front. Upon entry into the building the lady at the front desk asked me to take my mask off. I refused due to the pandemic. She then started to verbally abuse me and call me racial slurs because I would not take my mask off. Even though I am caucasian, I still take much offense to people that do not take my race seriously. I tried to walk away from her but she jumped over the desk and started to chase me through the building. Thankfully, I have insanely muscular quadriceps and was able to quickly sprint away from her and take safety upstairs. After I had calmed down some from the craziness that I had experienced at the front desk, I decided that i would take a therapeutic walk on the treadmill. I was impressed at all of the technology that Lifetime has in their equipment! It’s super cool! As I was walking I noticed one of the athletic trainers looking me up and down. We made eye contact and he walked over to where I was exercising. He asked, “Do you need someone to spot for you?” “No thanks,” I said, “I don’t need help on a treadmill.” He proceeded to walk onto the same exact treadmill that I was on and whisper the Pledge of Allegiance into my ear. I told him that I support Biden so the words that he was speaking were very offensive to me. He then proceeded to tell me of Trump’s great feats, and he then convinced me into voting Trump. Also the equipment was very clean and the heated sauna was a nice way to unwind at the end of the day. 5 star facility!

Beautiful building. Cancelling is a headache. I tried contacting several times in the beginning of the pandemic to cancel. Finally got a hold of someone to cancel my membership only to find out I was still being charged and I would have to pay another month. I have not stepped foot in this facility since the city was shut down.

If you ever plan on cancelling your membership, save yourself A LOT of trouble and DO NOT join this gym. My daughter has been trying to cancel her membership for a while now since she has moved off to college and has been given the runaround. The gym told her to contact the home office. The home office told her to contact the gym. She has done both but they continue to charge her account. They have no trouble signing you up for a membership onsite. Evidently, cancelling a membership is as complicated as brain surgery. Judging by past reviews, it appears we are not the only one to endure this type of treatment.I was a member in the past at this establishment. The gym is awesome but I had to cancel due to moving further away to where it was not convenient to maintain membership. If you do not plan on cancelling for a long time, it may be for you. Maybe the leadership can figure out an efficient cancellation process in the meantime that does not take advantage of people. If you need a gym for a few months, save yourself a lot of trouble and look elsewhere.

My family and I have been coming to this location of Lifetime fitness since the day it opened over 10 years ago. In fact, we joined the club even before it opened. When I left for college (out of state), I cancelled my membership. This year when I came to visit, I used my brothers guest pass to enter the club. The next day a member of the sales department contacted me after noticing I had used my brothers guest pass and offered to give me a week long guest pass. I thought that was very nice of her and accepted the offer. The pass was issued for December 15 - 21, the days I would be in town for the holidays. After two days of me going to Lifetime and on the third day I went, this sales representative told me that my guest pass had been cancelled because too many people were coming to the club. When I asked why she never told me over the phone that there was a chance I wouldnt be allowed in the club, she said Dalton Alexander (Sales Manager) told me we only allow guests to come a couple of times every few months. You can purchase a day pass for $30 or a full membership for the next couple of days you are in town. I have a few thoughts about that rule: 1) I would have been happy to pay for a guest pass, but why did you issue a complimentary 7 day guest pass for me if this is the case? 2) That should have been communicated to me when you issued the guest pass. 3) No where on the electronic guest pass does it say guest passes will be cancelled after x amount of days of usage.This sales representative is brand new, and its clear to me from this experience that this Lifetime location is clearly not training its employees. Its also clear to me that they will make whatever sort of rules they want and enforce them at their own will.My family has been incredibly disappointed with the service given they have been going to this club for over a decade. It is clear that the priority of this club is to just sell memberships, so they arent concerned at all about the quality of service they offer to existing members (my entire family). If youre looking to join a fitness club or even go as a guest, I would highly discourage you from doing that.

This has to the worst gym as far as management in Memphis. I had used the family change area to shower and do my hair and they said I shouldnt do it. I was find with that. Then I made a complaint against how unfriendly the general manager Jay is in my three years of membership and only speaks to me when we have an issue. He had them to call me and cancel for membership for no reason. I paid over $100 a month and never had a complaint. My son loved the gym and swimming. But it was hard to believe that I cant address my concerns and not be terminated.

Very nice place and clean place to work out. Friendly and helpful staff but only as long as you are at the gym! Try to call this place... you can call and leave messages... it would be just waist of time! They never call back! Feels like they don’t care about their members at all!

Life Time is amazing! I have worked for Life Time for the past 8 years and it has been a blessing for me and my family.

My family has held a membership at this gym for about 6 years. While everything has not always been wonderful, the staff has always been friendly, helpful and courteous. Even when a screw up was my fault, the staff worked to help.As far as the facilities go, this is the best in this area. The training staff is friendly and approachable and the equipment is kept clean and in good order. About a year ago, the facility increased its weight lifting area and did an excellent job. The pool is always a big hit in the summer.We have been very pleased with our membership.

I love Life Time Fitness! The personal trainers and staff here are so friendly and helpful. The facilities are very nice and clean. It definitely does get busy and is a little pricey, but its still a really enjoyable experience overall.

Amazing gym! The staff are really professional. The girl at the front desk and Aldren are awesome! Aldren was VERY knowledgeable about nutrition and exercise. He taught me some stuff I didn’t even know and I’ve taken college level nutrition!The gym itself is HUGE and grand! All the workout equipment is up to date and nice! The pools and hot tubs are so clean and refreshing. The locker rooms are exceptionally clean as well! We love it!

Zumba class

The amenities are nice. The sauna, steam room, basketball courts, and work out space are attractive reasons to come, but the gym is overpriced and crowded in my opinion. Additionally, while some staff members are friendly, others seem more like car salesman. I came to visit a few times with friends who are paying members, and each time I was overly pressured to sign up today for free.I understand that they are doing their jobs to recruit new patrons, but this last time my friend felt so embarrassed by the way I was treated that he decided to cancel his own membership.

I signed my 7 year old daughter up for swimming lessons. Every week or two it was a different swim coach. Just when she would get comfortable with a coach, she would be assigned a new one. Each new coach would start from scratch with teaching her. After six months of lessons, she was still on stage 1. She never progressed to playing her face in the water. When I told management, they only apologized for the turnover in swim coaches. I hated that this was her first experience with swimming.

Great spa. Joy gave me a full body massage with the hot rocks. it was amazing. i will definitely be coming back not only for a good workout but another spectacular massage. if you ever want a massage ask for joy. not only is it her name but also the emotion you will feel when you leave.

One star is actually being too nice, but I have to rate it. The gym starts off so sweet and positive until life happens. After a while no one will return calls or help you. Heaven forbid you want to cancel. I just got off the phone with one of their helpful representatives. I cancelled my membership only due to lack of time to workout. I sent a certified letter as promised and because I did not send it return receipt, they have claimed the letter never made it and now want to charge for the past four months.The girl even argued with me that I was lying!! Can you believe that? I dont know who taught her customer service skills but I will never conduct any business with them again. I am very disappointed having heard so many great reviews and to be treated like a little kid.Sorry lifetime that i did not want to pay $100 a month for a service I didnt use. Sorry I had to cancel but this is ridiculous. Why would I lie about canceling? You can see when I last checked it. Surprise surprise it was 6 months before I cancelled.

Another increase on my membership fees! I was not notified of this increase it just happened. I called the gym and spoke to someone, who did not give me there name, just their title, and was told it was to pay to have the floor upstairs, and the gymnasium floor redone. She told me every one was notified via email, odd that I got every email from Lifetime but that one. The price is just getting ridiculous! I will keep my membership, until the new LA Fitness opens in Collierville. Then I’m leaving and will pay half that price for a brand new gym! Very displeased with the rising cost of fees at Lifetime Gym!Your response is a form reply that I have seen on other complaints. Be original, you your words not crappy form replies. I visited Lifetime with a friend last night for the first time, and OMG, it was amazing! I have never worked out at a Lifetime facility and did not know how amazing having access to all those amenities would be!We had a beasty upper body workout on the machines and free weights, then we went to the sauna for about 30 minutes, cooled off and stretched, then jumped in the hot tub for about 15 minutes, then another 10 minute cool- down, and finished the workout with another 10 minutes in the steam room (w/eucalyptus!)... took a shower before I left, then crashed when I went home. Needless to say, I slept like a baby last night. I really enjoyed my first time experience. I am not looking to pay $60/ mo for a gym membership at this time, but its definitely worth it!

I use almost exclusively free weights and from the marketing material I received in the mail, I expected Life Time to have a super nice area for lifting. But I canceled my membership after my first visit because the free weight area was mediocre. It wasnt bad, but if thats the primary reason you are going, you can get 90-100% of the same equipment at a YMCA or budget 24-hour gym for much less money.Bottom line, Life Time has a very nice facility but the free weight area isnt anything special and not nearly as posh as the marketing material would suggest.

Today was my first visit to this fitness club. I have been all over the world and even though the gym is pricey its by far the best gym experience you will have in Memphis. The staff goes far beyond the norm to make the environment as clean safe and luxurious and if you dont believe me just come for yourself. Thank you Dalton Alexander for the pass !

I see why they only have 3 stars. Dianna front desk Clerk and Kera the manager have very poor customer service and they are not friendly at all. I’d rather pay La Fitness and JW for memberships before I step one foot inside of this place. From the outside looking in, everything looks beautiful. However, I work in customer service and expect to get exceptional service wherever patronize my hard working money.

An excellent facility that while expensive, I feel is good value for money if you can afford it. Its nice to see a gym of this quality also not have contracts, you can cancel any time. Any type of fitness youre interested in can be accommodated here, apart from combat sports obviously. Some negatives that keep it from being 5 stars for me: cafe is very over priced, not really the facilities or staffs fault but it will get very crowded, the LT bucks you get are nice idea (I would use them for massages or haircuts), but they could accumulate very fast and its really bad that they have an expiry date so you cant save them up.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. My family and I move every few years and we lived in Memphis for 3 years, which is when I joined Lifetime. I was a member there for awhile and enjoyed my experience at the club. The reason for the review is due to the TERRIBLE customer service when it was time to move. We moved out of state in October of 2018. When I found out we were moving, I called to cancel. I spoke to a gentleman that told me I needed to mail in a letter, which I did. The following month, I saw my card was charged, so I called the Club. I then spoke to a woman named Alexis. I was told the letter needed to be certified. I then sent in a certified letter on November 19th. I saw it had been signed for, so I threw my receipt away. On January 11, 2019, I saw that I had been charged for December AND January. I called and spoke to a woman who told me that she was the Assistant Manager to Member Services. She apologized and told me she would tap to her manager and give me a call back that day to resolve the issue. I never heard back. I called my credit card company and told them to block all charges related to Lifetime. I the sent a THIRD letter to cancel. Sure enough, I got an email today from Lifetime saying the my credit card did not process for my February payment. Luckily, this time I saved my receipt. Member Services at the club didnt;t answer the phone so I called their 800 number to cancel. I had to send him a picture of my receipt. I was then told I still had to pay the prorated price for February!Long story short, this is a great facility. BUT if you ever plan on having to cancel your membership, save your time and energy. Literally go anywhere else. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

They have upped my rate every year since I have joined, and finding out today, no end in sight. This location is not convenient to my home or office, and is now no longer comparable in price. Jay, you cant be more exclusive and sorry we couldnt keep your business.

I love Lifetime and was a member in Atlanta for years. However this location must be under some sort of wireless curse. There is no cell reception in or around this building! This is concerning for safety and convenience reasons. Not entirely their fault but they should ask for a repeater or something from their carrier. By the way I dont have any of this cheap Sprint, T-Mobile or Cricket business, in case you were wondering.

I was a platinum member for two years. They have fantastic equipment, good trainers, and a beautiful and well kept facility.Unfortunately my kids disliked going, which was a deterrent for me. The kid Center is understaffed, which results in some of the play areas not being available. The staff routinely defaulted to putting my kids in front of iPads, which is not what I wanted. When I communicated my opinion, I only got excuses.During a summer camp in 2018, they lost track of my 4 year old. When I arrived to pick him up they told me he was in the family bathroom with an employee. He was not. He had instead been taken to the main men’s locker room by a staff member, but the people responsible for accountability of the kids had no idea. My child was fine, but we did not to use the camps after that. I asked for a call back to discuss and never received it.In the indoor pool, I was told that I couldn’t use the main lanes to teach my 7 year old son how to swim. Nobody else was using any of the lanes and the pool area was staffed. That restriction always bothered me.The call center and voicemail do not actually seem to be monitored. They will call you to solicit additional business but they won’t return a call.I tried to use the VIP service at the spa but I was often unable to get an appointment. Even when I couldn’t get in they still charged me for the month. When I tried to cancel the VIP spa service, I had to fight them and threaten to cancel my membership. It was an unnecessary dispute.Many of the additional classes like TRX and their version of CrossFit cost extra.I cancelled my membership following a rate hike of which I disapproved due to unsatisfactory service and accessibility. Prior to that, however, I politely communicated my disapproval to the GM via email. My rates were increased anyway.Upon cancellation I was told that they required 30 days notice and that I would be billed the following month as well, even though I cancelled prior to the next billing cycle. I find that to be a very disingenuous business practice.Overall - beautiful facility, but service and accessibility are hit or miss. Could be so much better and worth the extra expense if they just committed themselves to good customer service.

Recently, visited the Collierville, TN location on a guest pass. The facility has one upper floor for cardio & weight training, which was extremely overcrowded for my personal perference. The air quality was poor and did not neutralize the stench of diverse odors. I was apprehensive to use weight equipment, since I didnt observe anyone cleaning the equipment after use. Hopefully, I didnt contract a skin fungus or worse. Not impressed to workout in a place like Grand Central Station.

The gym is filthy. The floors on the basketball court are always slippery and the balls need to be replaced. NO ONE ever re-racks the weights when they are done (trainers included) and all of the machines and bench presses have permanent sweat stains on them. The trainers are always running around and taking up multiple machines when they train people. Weights and barbells are all over the place. The only reason why I gave it one star is because the people at the front desk are always friendly. Im in town working and I have a membership at another Life Time club in Tulsa. If I lived here, I would cancel my membership.

I used a free pass for my children and I, this was a great place with lots of activities for the family to enjoy. I just cant afford the fees.

Lifetime fitness is cool because of its 24 hour status and space. The pool is always clean, as well as the steam room and dry room. Its the only gym i know that has lockers with specialized keys. The juice bar is awesome. I just the equipment could be updated. If LA fitness didnt have a 3 year contract and didnt close at 11pm i would have join there.

I love this place! The people are friendly. The atmosphere is upbeat. The equipment is unbeatable. This is my get away and my kids.

Ive been a member of this facility since they opened. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It has something for the entire family. Very clean, professional, knowledgeable staff, and well maintained. Ooh Rah

Great gym. Its definitely worth the price with everything you get. Way better than atc or dac.

Tried to get a guest pass, I was told there was a specific time for guest passes.Offered to pay for a one time entry to check the facility (a potential customer) but I was told that the Ipad shuts off at 9! I dont know what kind of Ipad the staff use, but they need to come up with better lies

My experience at the club has been exceptional. as a lifelong advocate of fitness and exercise ive been a member of many facilities ... none have met the standard in customer service achieved by the staff at this club located in collierville, tn. after an intense training session (in which i pushed myself a bit hard) i experienced severe exhaustion, the staff immediately noticed that i might have needed attention and several employees, led by management set into action a well rehearsed plan of assessment and safety procedures. i genuinely thank the team members that helped me today. well done.

Appearances can be deceiving! This gym has the worst business ethics I have ever experienced. The manager is never available. The sales team is full of sht and the staff is incompetent. When this gym first opened it was fabulous...but it has since been the base for multiple robberies. Lockers and Cars. Half the showers are always broken. The pool rules are RIDICULOUS! There was a man in the day care arrested for fondling a minor girl. They make tons of shiny promises that they do not keep then stick it to you once you realize how crappy this place really is. This place is where the saying came from things are not always what they seem..appearances can be deceiving. This gym looks upscale but is beyond ghetto inside (the staffs attitudes and lack of over all training, equipment not working properly, broken showers, towels not being available in the Summer, people making out or having sex in the spas and hot tubs and family showers, break ins of lockers and cars. Omni Fitness is opening at the old prairie life location right across poplar and I hope they offer a new venue worth going to. Family Membership is $60 including childcare! At lifetime ours was $130 a month...yea..no thanks.
