A step up from most dollar stores with a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, good dairy and frozen food sections. Clean and well-maintained. Good wait staff.

This is a very organized place with plenty of items to choose from whether its snacks, fresh produce, drinks, actual alcohol, toiletries, and kitchen stuff. They even have clothes and maybe apparel and items for babies.His conveniently located across the post office and in a shopping center where theres plenty of food and amenities to choose from after or before you are done shopping. Definitely recommended place and I forgot to mention that they definitely have a wide variety of items for your fur-babies !

Great prices but some products looked a little on the cheap side. Grocery section is limited but good if your close and in a hurry.

This place is alright like a miniature Walmart would be the best way to describe it. The lines are always long do to there being only one cashier at all times. Most of the staff is nice and you can see it in their faces that they are trying to just get through there day, however the store manager Donna or however her name is spelled is beyond rude. She walks around on a high horse and is gets annoyed when you try to approach for simple things that are in a store managers job description.Example: I was shopping because I had to get some cleaning essentials and grabbed a basket instead of a cart. I got what I needed, payed, started walking to my car. I get to my car and realized I took the basket out of the store (you are not suppose to do that). I realized as well that the basket had a security tag on it, I walk back to the store to put it back and let them know that the security tag didnt go off as I was walking out (Something that you would Id important to retail). As I walk in it does go off, she approaches me super quick and with a pist off faced. I told her what happened and how the alarm didnt go off as I walked out and how she should probably look in to it. She snatches the basket off my hands with the most annoyed fave and just walked away. So first of all ouch my wrist and second of all what the hell, I didnt have to take the freaking basket back in I could have left it inside one of the carts outside. I had the dumb idea of being nice and need up people looking at me like I was trouble and my wrist got pulled and hurt by the rude so called manager who isnt good at her job at all.If you do happen to shop here for the most part it is okay but be careful with the unpleasant people you might bump into.

I really like Dollar General, the only thing is they dont always have what you want its hit & miss. But they do have neat stuff ! !

I really like this store mostly cus its close by but I would love if the staff could pick up the pace a lil at the register. Its like watching paint dry standing in line.

Hit and miss here. They have sales but then nothing applies or you get lucky and get super good deals. The store is a little trashed some days. They could and should definitely get more cashiers to get people in and out. Avoid going in around 5 pm

They have great prices and just about all I need, I can shop and do not have to wait in line for a long time. If they have a back up at checkout they call others up fast.

The employees here are always helpful and friendly. They try to keep the store clean and organized. I am always pleasantly surprised at the quality of their home decor and seasonal products. The produce is a little limited but good quality and well priced. They seem to have a bit of everything in the store.

All of your sale prices seem to work now. While shopping your staff have been Amazing. I had moved 2 years ago to Clovis and 1 year 6 months ago I stopped going to your store in Clovis. I have to say thank you.I would shop weekly accross town At McKinley and Fruit in Fresno Dollar Gerneral was my favorite store.In Clovis on Minnewawa and Bullard 2 years ago your Staff were rude and did not care about people , I vowed never to walk all that way to be ridiculed for your items not ringing up as the sale prices, I did want the correct prices, I watched your adds spent at least every week there. I told my best friend I had not been in your store for over 1 year and 6 months due to your staff arguing and rudeness. I had to provide the add or the DG sales on line prices, this was there job.

No place is real customer friendly or people friendly in California, this one so far is one of the better ones.

I love this place. Its fun to walk around. Theres always something new. You can buy cute things to decorate a table. I bought a wire basket, some cool coffee cups, pot holders and matching kitchen towel. I gave it as a housewarming gift with some cookies. It went over really well!

The staff here are alqays willing to help and they are just cool people in general. On the other hand, and i know this isnt anything in the staffs control, but certain items arent always available in stock. (Not just speaking of the unnecessary hoarding of toilet paper situation goikg in the world right now.) I do, however, love the instant savings deals that they always have.

This is definitely NOT the place you should go to if you are looking for healthy eating opportunities. Its mostly processed soda/chips/cookie-type food, except for some produce items. There are lots of dollar-store-type toiletry supplies, though (hair ties, shampoo, etc). I only use this store in a pinch when I need something I know they carry (milk). Items are pretty cheap, just not the greatest in terms of choices and options.

None of the employees were wearing face masks as few by Fresno County officials. Thats bad.I asked for a price check and the girl said she didnt have a price gun/scanner. She tried to guess the price and I said that wasnt right so she pulled out the price gun from her back pocket and checked for me. When I said You just said you didnt have a scanner, she just ignored me. WTH?

I like this store but shelves are NEVER STOCKED while employees sit.

If you use there coupons more than half of the stuff does not work at the Cash register. You have to watch every item go through. The store has awesome sales I Love there items..

Make sure you check the dates on any perishable items you are buying. Bought hot dogs last year that were 8 months past the expiration date. Found ketchup in the store tonight that is 4 months past the date. There are several examples of this.

It felt easy to navigate through. The prices werent the highest or the lowest. The employees were chill and they let me take my dog in the store.

Some lady walked in without a mask and bought her things and no one stopped her, needs security at door!

This was my very first visit and may be my last. Many items found to have pricing errors or no price listed at all. Unclear pricing as well.This store was very unorganized so I kept my purchases to a minimum. I had approximately 16 items at check out both food and taxable items. I used my EBT card which left a cash balance of $17.36. I paid then was told by cashier that he couldnt give me a receipt because printer was out of ink so frustrated I hurried up outta there. When getting home I noticed all the errors paying close to $7.00 more than I should have paid. What was I supposed to do now WITH NO RECIEPT!!!!!!!

This is my GO TO Store! About 1 mile from my home- BUT my family lives on the south east side of Fresno & comes to THIS STORE ONLY as well. The staff is WONDERFUL- always attentive, happy, knowledgeable about the store & products, nice atmosphere. GREAT products, low prices, CLEAN & ORGANIZED Store. I gave it 5 stars because it may not have EVERYTHING like a SUPER STORE- BUT- it IS like a MINI Super Store- a little bit of everything in all departments. FOOD/cleaning supplies/ auto/household indoor & outdoor decor/seasonal items/ hair&body products/make-up/ baby necessities/ party supplies/ school supplies/ electronics/ vitamins, health & wellness items, cold&flu medicine, basic healthcare necessities/ first aid supplies/ clothing, shoes, undergarments, & accessories for ALL. Always new inventory & keeps up with competitor stores. My FAVORITE Dollar General Store by far!

One of the worst bathrooms Ive ever been in. Trash overflowing. Dirty toilets. No toilet seat covers. No toilet paper in either stall, and both dispensers broken. (Not hygienic having everyone touch the same toilet paper roll.) Paper towel dispenser was not working either.There definitely needs to be a hourly check off sheet for the bathroom.

By far the friendliest Dollar General store I have been in. From the manager down they all should get a raise and the store is huge, they have everything you need from fresh produce to a digital antenna. LOL I just happened to need one for a friend that just moved in that area. Keep up the great work and I will be back to shop a lot more!

Easy to park and walk in and out. Much preferred 4 fast and economical items. I hate the parking and walking outside and walking inside of the big big box stores. And I like the tellers too!!

I LOVE shopping here! CLEAN store, like a mini-Superstore, it has everything from food, clothing, household needs, beauty supplies, otc medicine, cleaning supplies, decorations for different events, outdoor decorations and yard supplies. All at VERY reasonably LOW prices! I do ALOT of grocery shopping here, fresh fruits, even culture specific items and vegetarian/vegan specific items. And there are great DAILY& WEEKLY DEALS! First time I took my mom, she LOVED IT, and spent $100 on food, house supplies & clothing! My father in law drives across town just to go to THIS specific store BECAUSE of the deals & great supply! Those 2 examples are enough to tell you its worth a LOOK!

Was shopping n restrooms were out of order left store

Shopping at a DG Market has been enjoyable. Everything is conveniently located in the store. And I get to shop for other things when I get there.Friendly staff. And some decent prices as well. Clean store too.

I shopped for over an hour in store. Waited in a long line for about 10mins. Only 2 registers open. No one on the sales floor clearly not enough help. When I finally checked out by Chrissy she would not take any coupons and laughed as I walked away. I had to check the product myself. I came back to the front of the line so she can check me out again and she tells me that I have to get in back of the line again. I told her I had already waited in line once before & I was not gonna do it again. So then I asked for her name & the store managers. I called store manager Celina 3 times and left a detailed message & my phone number and still have not receive a call back regarding this matter & that was over 5days ago. Ill stick with Family Dollar never had a problem there. I wouldnt have even given them 1 star but it seemed that that was the lowest.

They are always out of something for months at a time. Convenient place to get things (when theyre there!) ...Weirdly helpful tip: all soda deals (i.e. buy 3 for 10) only apply to the same type...like buy 3 pepsis, not buy 3 Pepsi products (like sierra mist, etc.) I have been fooled so many times by this just to get to the register and remember that they suck 😝

Love the coupons I always come every Saturday for the extra $5 off, store is always clean, and they have cool new products often.Although when asking for help to find employees ive asked have no clue, staff has changed my go to employees that are very knowledgeable about the store are no longer there.

Its ok i go shop there for an item or two i need. Some dark skin women propely manager is kind of rude. Dont smile , just looks at someone with a frown or mad face. But when i do go shes there wheather its early morning or late night shes there Not my friendly store to shop on a regular basis. Its a must shop for a quick item store.

There was a decent selection and good buys. I only shopped for food items but there appeared to be a lot of household, clothes and electronic items too. I would shop there again.

Good store but needs more attention to the front when customers come around.

First time for me to go into one of these stores. For the size, there was not a lot of products. What they had was very minimal in selection as well. Prices were not even that great. Walmart and sales at Vons are better than they were. Lots of disorganized shelves as well. Staff was friendly and the overall store was clean though. Not many shopping g carts and the baskets were not easily seen

I live right around the corner from here, and would normally walk in when I needed to get some last minute things. We had a very bad customer service experience. In the 3 years of shopping here, I’ve never had an employee speak to me the way that we did today. I’ve actually never even seen the employees who interacted with us today, wondering if they are recently new to the store. It will be a while before I walk back in, I’d rather drive out to Walmart or even Foods Co.
