I went into this establishment on Sunday morning and asked for dip powder with a French manicure. That is not what I got. After she soaked my original dip powder off she proceeded to file my already weak nails to the skin it felt like. Someone kept calling her phone so she kept stopping to answer the phone. She was very messy with the powder, when it came down to the actual polish the polish is bubbly, it’s just unacceptable. It took her 1+hours to do this job and i had to go to the store, so I expressed my issue with the job and left. I came back shortly after and told her that I was not satisfied STILL. She took me back the the chair and started to file my polish and put clear coat on. It clearly didn’t fix it so she took the polish off and then she started cutting my cuticles on accident as she was doing unnecessary filling. I told it hurt, and she kept going. She redid the same shìtty job. So i just left. NEVER AGAIN. That was Sunday and today is Wednesday. I don’t do hard labor with my hands. This is what they look like 3 days later...

I got a manicure & pedicure ($50 + tip). Ms. Amanda was my nail technician. She is awesome! We had funny & good conversation. I hadnt gotten my nails done in over 2 years and Ms. Amanda was very gentle and comforting.They also give you a choice of red or white wine while getting your services.

I’ve been coming to this location for awhile now and stopped coming at one point in time due to the poor customer service. Today I received an alert stating that I was overcharged for the original amount that was expressed and charged. I called to speak with the owner who claims to not understand my complaint or issue while confidentially letting me know I wrote a $10 tip for the tech that helped me that day which I did not do. I offered to come to the shop in person to help settle the matter while producing time stamped proof. The owner didn’t want to look at my transaction emails, but wanted the tech to validate my statement instead… The tech was forced to look through the system for my receipt and became in enraged shoving money in my face while yelling at me. The owner (who was no help to begin with) came over asked for my number and explained the tech was wrong while still not trying to see the proof or let me finish speaking. Today will be my last time ever doing business in this not so creditable establishment.

My experience was ok...though I did experience a lot of stress when picking out the nail color. It was difficult to translate what I wanted to the lady who was doing my nails because she did not understand the technical. i was very patient with her and very understanding (because some nail styles are difficult to do). The end result was pretty good though. i actually like my nails. the only issue for me was the professionalism. it was a very hostile environment (not relaxing at all). And after i got my nails done, i called my father to come pick me up. I had to wait for a little for him to come. While i was waiting *they thought i left already* they gossiped about me. They lady was talking loudly so that everyone could hear. She was basically talking about how I wanted my nails. Like ma’am this is a nail salon!!! Why are you complaining about doing nails!! That’s your job. Less talking more filing!

I attempted to walk in for a gel Mani and Pedi. Bit of a wait but Im not super pressed for time. About 15 minutes later get sent to the back. Waited some more then a lady was like sit down. Waited. Finally a guy starts the water and tells me to put my feet in. Plain water, no soak or suds. Wait. And wait some more. By this time Ive lost track of time while reading my book. I glance up to see someone that came in after me soaking with a bowl full of suds. Say something to one of the technicians and shes like oh Ill do it right now. I glance back up to see her still working on someone elses feet. Wiped my feet off, let the lady at the front know about the terrible service and bounced. Wont be back. This is the 4th business on Clinton Ive had to review with poor ratings. They offer sub-par service because people still use their services - hit them in the pocket and theyll listen.

I frequently visit this shop for a gel fill in. Today was a horrible experience. The young lady on the left when you first walked in did my gel fill in. First of all she didn’t ask me do I want to cut down my nails. Secondly, she did not clean under my nails. I mentioned it to her before she started to polish my nails. She told me I have to use the brush at the sink to clean under my nails it’s probably food. (Excuse me)!!!She rushed and I am very disappointed in there services!!!

Trains the best because does an amazing pedicure and she takes her time, it you dont have 45-1 hour to spare then dont go to her. Pink is a nail guru and the only tech I go to. Annie does the best eyebrows there. Now!!! The is is one lady that sit in the first chair as soon as you past the front drying table, she is rude and unprofessional. She had three nerve to get mad because I didnt like her ombre and got someone else to fix it after she told me she knew how I wanted it from the picture I showed her. Shes a mess! I told her after the first nail that I didnt like it and she said no no baybee I guy you, I do dee all dee tieen🙄.Heres the before and after photos.

So much to say. For starters, the lady who did my nails filed my nail harshly to the point where I bled. A couple of days later and my fingers are still in pain whenever I touch something. Secondly, I came in with a group and we all left highly disappointed. My friend left with her nails looking nothing how she wanted. Thirdly, they improperly shaped our nails and our coffin shape just looks square. Don’t get me started on how overpriced everything was. The only reason I give the place 2 stars is because their workers were kind and even put ointment on my bleeding fingers and apologized profusely. Overall, I do not recommend this place in the slightest.

The lady I had rushed the job. I paid for a level 3 pedicure but i dont think it was a level 3 I recieved and then she didnt let my polish dry all the way. She had me walking back and forth and while doing that my nail polish got messed up. She rushed on my manicure also. I wont be back

I come in to get a simple lip wax. Get seated in the middle of the lobby area. As Im waiting around I get asked to have a seat in what it looks like desk chair next to the drying area. Lady comes pulls pedicure cart and waxing machine. The most unsanitary thing Ive seen. I ask her is this where the waxing will take place. She gives me a rude stare and says yes. I just stand up and walk out. Super unprofessional, very unsanitary. Im surprised they amount of good reviews they got on google. Definitely not coming here ever again.

The owner of the nail salon did my nails and left them crooked lumpy thick and not uniform. I tipped $25 out of politeness and because I thought I might’ve been tripping but nope, showed my nails to my best friend and she immediately pointed out the crooked thick lumpy nail.never going back

I got a French manicure and my nails on my right hand are longer than in my the left hand side. I didn’t even realize it until I already paid. So I’m walking around with mismatched hands.

Ive been going to Happy Nails for a while now and for the most part Ive been pleased with my services. I usually only go there for gel pedicures and gel acrylics. For my nails, I prefer either Ping or Rose ONLY. For my pedi, anyone is fine. They always have a lot of people on staff so that helps cut down the wait time if you dont mind going to anyone. They also offer wine with your service.

So I have taken my son to get a haircut and was looking to get my eyebrows done really quickly so I googled of course and started my walk. Was a little apprehensive about going in, but when I went in I noticed this is a diverse place where people worked. I was immediately impressed but still nervous I mean after all these are my brows and I’m very picky about my look. Now the receptionist wasn’t very warm and friendly when I first walked in no greeting I had to get her attention and she was just like go back there (back where I’m new lol) but hey let’s see how this place is, Julie directed me came up smile on her first open conversation I’m still nervous she does the first eyebrow and shows me .... well I’m super impressed, she listened made sure I’m happy before proceeding she does the second brow cleans me up a little I’m happy I am happy happy, I go to pay and the receptionist looks up at me nervously as I say oh my god I’m impressed, who’s the owner because now only am I impressed about Julie this is the first place I’ve been to that’s diverse and I love it!!! She smiles and says I’m glad you like it.. oh wow you are actually friendly lol but all laughs aside this place was actually a great place for me and that’s my opinion!!!

Had a pedicure done there because I was in the area. After I got out the chair and made 3 steps I slipped and fell while wearing those Godawful pink paper slippers injuring my shoulder and back. The gentleman near me working on a client showed compassion. A few workers laughed. After the manager I think Kim was notified she claimed it was my fault because I was on my phone. I had finished my conversation 5 minutes before I got out of the chair, she then stated she didnt care that I fell . She showed zero compassion for me. She is rude and arrogant. Ill be consulting my lawyer for the injuries I suffered. Abnoxious arrogant woman

Went for a Mani Pedi and asked about the price, they told me $40. Then when it was time to check out the price changed to $65!!! They said it was because I got gel polish on my finger nails. So basically, I paid $35 for my gel nails that peeled off completely in ONE WEEK!!! Then they wouldnt let me pay with my credit card, I had to Cashapp them. Completely unprofessional and a waste of $65!!! Never again!!!!

I’ve been coming to Happy Nails, conveniently located in Clinton, MD for close to 20 years for every two weeks!!!! Refer ALL of my Family and Friends!!!! ALL services (Including Customer Service) such as nails, eyebrows, hair removal, tatted eyebrows and of course, messages are GREAT....... I’ve NEVER left disappointed and GREAT feedback from MY MANY REFERRALS!!!!

Just left Happy Nails. Very disappointed with Rosa. Ive been going there for a year and the service WAS good at the beginning. Ive always tipped well ($10+). Started with Kevin doing my nails then he became sloppy and careless . Then switched to Rosa, who was very good, but today she was trying to do 3 people at the same time and was really sloppy. Never again!!!!

My usual nail tech at Mega Nails in Waldorf was out for the day so I decided to try Happy Nails.. when I walked in the environment was a little weird because no one spoke to me, until I walked behind the front counter toward the tables the nail techs were all occupying. When I asked how much for a gel fill in the lady said “5 secs”, so I asked one of the ladies that was I guess leaving for the day how much it would cost and she told me $30.. which isn’t that bad but still more than what I would’ve paid at my regular. So I waited... a lot longer than 5 seconds but I would say it was about 10 mins and the lady finally told me come sit over in the corner. When the nail tech walked over and sat down she didn’t speak she just said “lemme see your hands” and when I did so, she automatically asked me did I get my nails done by one of the nail techs at that location prior to me coming in this particular time and I told her no and she told me my nails were horrible and looked terrible & started cutting and filing and clipping and I asked her for the gel color “bubble bath” and she told me they didn’t have that color but that had something similar, so I said okay.. and she went and got the color. When she was filing my nails she was making the file burn my nail bed and it was hurting so of course I let her know and she just said “ughhh” and continued to do so... then when she was finished shaping my nails I told her they weren’t even and she told me I’m picky and that’s why my nails were horrible, then when I asked to see the book with the nail colors she said ughh again and with a attitude handed me the book and started pointing at me talking to one of the other nail techs... when I was finished I felt so disrespected and unwelcome I didn’t even want to pay... THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!

I came to happy nails a long time ago with my grandmother and I loved it so my best friend and I decided to go for a relaxing spa day. we walked in and NOBODY spoke to us, then the guy told me he would do my nails but only mine. He told me he would not touch him. My best friend is a gay male and his sexual orientation should not stop the business from providing services. That was not only unprofessional but it was discrimination, My friend did not come in the place with heels, 40-inch wig, and eyelashes and even if he did so what. His sexual preference has NOTHING to do with the employees there. We went across the street to Miracle nails and have been going back faithfully ever since.I have lost so much respect for happy nails.....Its a No for me.

I have been here twice to get a fill in with gel polish. I came here because my other salon I go to was crowded and two technicians were working. I came here and in 30 minutes I was all done and out the door. They were fast but did a good job. I think Ill be a regular here even though they are $5 more than where I used to go to. The only thing is they do rush you along a bit to get a new body in the chair, but with my a-social self, I was happy to get along my way. As long as they do a good job, Im happy.

Mia did a wonderful job with my pedicure and gel manicure but I had to wait over 20 minutes for service. They were quite busy so I opted for the regular pedicure, due to time constraints.Both services turned out fantastic! I really love my color selections. However, this is not my regular salon so I wont be here often.

Long wait, but it was Friday after work so I guess thats typical. Water kept draining out of my pedicure bowl for some reason. But the lady did a nice job.

Honestly I dont even give bad reviews but THIS I cannot! Anna did my nails and her acrylic powder was absolutely gross. Then on top of that idk what she did but my fingernails were on fire! Every time she filled, add acrylic and polish my fingers burned. Not only that but my nails are bulky and I dont know why or how she would charge $40 for this. She damn near rushed and I will not cone back again.

More like UNHAPPY NAILS. I went there for the first time yesterday and had the worst service. Very bad first impression. The person who did my nails rushed through the whole thing. The nail polish looked very thick and lumpy on my nails, and to add to it, they didnt paint the whole nail. They left 1/4 of the nail empty. I do not recommend anyone go here. They even gave an attitude when I wanted to get them redone.

First and last time I will get my nails done there. 1) Gel polish is chipping after a couple of days 2) It’s expensive 3) The man was standing over me to ensure I was tipping him as I signed my receipt

I got a pedi thats supposed to last at least 30 mins rushed thru in 15 minutes, didnt even notice she didnt polish my pinky toe at all 😡 and my gel set it horrible with lots of bubbles and lumps. Lucky for me its glitter so it isnt obvious. Spent $75 for a job I wouldve expected from the hood. Very disappointed

There nail work is terrible my feet looks bad it looks like a little kid had painted it and my nails look like a Barbie doll just fake and plastic Im not used to this they are terrible and I will never go back there again plus it stinks because theyre right next to Subway plus them chemicals together is a bad mix

First time visiting for mani/pedi (on NYE Eve 2016 @ almost closing time. My friend and I barely made it in (we were actually heading to a differnt salon but when we couldnt find it, we decided to go here). No regrets!! Vy is amazing!! She is gentle and detail-oriented (no cuts while trimming cuticles & nice nail design). Almost sad I hadnt tried this place before, but glad I decided to give them a try. Will return!! Thank you!P.S. the other lady was nice too, I just didnt get her name (she was working on my friends mani/pedi). No complaints.P.P.S. ...okay, so maybe one...it would be nice if there was some type of heated area or heated fan for feet (I.e. my friends and my post- pedicure feet were pretty cold while getting our manicures done...idk if that is an issue at other places or if it is just something that happens at nail salons during the colder months.... Thanks again!
