I come here once a month for the hydrating gel manicure and it always looks great and lasts until my next appointment. The ladies that work there are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to have a manicure on their natural nails!

They are always professional and personable. They go out if their way to make your visit very enjoyable and relaxing.

I’ve come here many times, eyelashes, eyebrows, massages, manicures, pedicures, and I had always been charged about 50-65$ for a pedicure even with the gel. This time I went, they charged me 105$ for A PEDICURE ONLY. And over cut my cuticles, it hurt when I showered for days. They want to overcharge now for gratuity. They demand a price and don’t allow you to tip at your own discretion. I never had this problem coming here, I’ve been here many times, but I’d rather take my service elsewhere after this experience.

Worst experience ever! I was cut twice and wasn’t even offered a bandaid lol they just gave me a tissue. They kept moving me seat to seat and handing me over to different girls. I was getting pretty annoyed with that and they kept pressuring me to pick a color. Well, my $80 nails started falling off in less than a week....and not only that, but they just looked so sloppy to begin with! I still tipped around $10 but i didn’t receive a thank you or have a nice day! I don’t think I will be returning sorry :(

Hands down one of the best nail salons on the shoreline. They do not rush at all, always nice, and my pedicure always comes out amazing. My pedicures are always over a hour long, really nice place to unwind and relax.

I’m very picky when it comes to services for yourself. I’ve been here numerous times and by now I feel like a review is deserved. First off, the salon is huge. it’s clean & very unique. Second. The pedicures are by far the BEST. Sure, $50 isn’t cheap but- by far it’s the best on the shoreline. I’ve actually timed my pedicure from start to finish. & it’s always over an hour. The service is top notch. It’s not the cheapest salon but you get what you pay for. Everyone’s wonderful. always happy thanks Serenity! ❤️

Very clean..the girls do a great job. It usually is very busy and you need an appt however since reopening after covid its a little easier to get in.

The shoreline has lots of nail salons but this one is the best! All of the girls do a great job. Their hydrating gel manicure is a really good value. Lasts for 3 weeks

Had a wonderful time with my daughter. They were very nice, the place is clean, no chemical smells and the massages you get with a pedicure are great! Really nice job on the toes for both her and me.

This used to be my go-to place for brows. The past two times I’ve gone they have done them in under 3 minutes and did not take the time to clean them. Will not return.

Called at 11 AM and was able to make an 11:30 AM appt for a pedicure the same day. While there, I was asked about a manicure, so I agreed, and later added on a facial (my own request). The manager kept checking on me to ensure I was happy with my service. Very friendly staff, overall. I will definitely go back, but the facial was a bit pricey, so Ill just stick with a manicure and pedicure.

I had 4 different people start and stop my manicure. My nails are now so short they hurt. My cuticle in the process got cut, which I know can happen to anyone even at the best salons, but it was ignored until they very end. Lastly and the most annoying thing is that it looks like I went a week ago to get the manicure because they painted so far from the edges of my nails.

Beautiful, clean, reasonably priced nail spa, next to Shoprite in Clinton.The only nail place in CT certified to do hydrating gel! Which makes your nails grow longer and stronger under your gel nails. Even better than SNS powder nails.Everyone who works here is fabulous. Chanel has an unbelievable attention to detail. These nails stay on looking great for weeks.They throw in a warm glove lavender moisturizer for free with your hydrating gel manicure!! The shoulder massage is so relaxing, done by Shirley and the other great staff members.I also get a gel pedicure that lasts a month looking awesome on vacation and in the summer at the pool.I will not go anywhere else now to get my nails done. I get so many compliments!!Oh and so reasonably priced!!Such a beautiful clean facility. Appointments easy to get and usually on time!

I have waited to post a review of Serenity until after the police investigation was finalized. Ive been warning everyone I know not to step foot in a business that quite literally robbed me after I had been a loyal customer for 5+ years. I went in to get a fill a few months ago and everything was great. I loved Chanels meticulous work which was why I kept going back. Everyone seemed friendly and knew their customers by name. After my service I walked to the front desk to pay. The woman insisted I go to their ATM to withdraw cash because it would be cheaper (come to find out, this is illegal, too). I hesitated and said no, its okay, I have cash for tip and will use my card instead of having an ATM fee come out. The woman wouldnt accept this, and very persistently insisted I use the ATM to get big discount. This went back and forth three times until I finally relented. BIG MISTAKE. I used the ATM and cashed out without problem. However, later that night I had several unauthorized purchases on my card which continued to early the next morning when my bank finally notified me. They took over $500 from me and were STILL trying when I shut my card off. I was prompted to go to the police by my bank and file a report as that card had not been used that week at all, except at Serenity. My first reaction was to call Chanel directly in case someone put a skimmer on her machine and she didnt know about it. However, after talking to authorities, this whole situation was no surprise to them! After posting about this on Facebook, many people came forward to tell me about similar situations at Serenity AND Fashion 1. Luckily, my bank gave me my money back in a timely manner. But I will NEVER step foot in this shady business again.

I have gotten my nails done here before (acrylic, full set), and they did a fantastic job. But the last time I went, I went to get my nails done for prom, and literally a week later two nails broke off. I just closed my car door and broke another. I’m very disappointed.

Serenity Beauty Bar is beautiful and clean. Staff was very friendly. I had a pedicure and it’s the best I’ve ever had. I definitely will go back and highly recommend it to everyone.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been a loyal customer to Chanel since moving to CT from NY 3 years ago. I started going to her at Fashion 1, in Old Saybrook. Now, I come to see her at Serenity. This place is gorgeous! Before coming to Chanel, my nails, never, never, ever grew or if they did, they were brittle and weak. Now, after 3 years of Chanel doing my nails, they are long, strong and beautiful! I get so many compliments and people cannot believe they are my REAL nails! Now besides all this, just as a whole, I LOVE this place. It is amazing! Everything I’ve tried so far, I LOVED! It means so much to walk into a place and feel so welcome, like I just stepped into my best friends home. That’s how they make me feel. It’s priceless. Chanel and her girls there all work so hard seven days a week. They are all just amazing. I am an extremely happy customer and I will always be Chanels customer and I consider her my friend. I wish so much success to Serenity!
