We planned an Orlando trip for June 2021 to celebrate a special event. We booked in December 2020 leaving a $200 deposit. Later we paid the remaining balance and filled out all the paperwork. Then 4 days before our flight we received a refund with no explanation. I called and left a message but did not receive any call back for an hour. Because our vacation was supposed to start in 4 days and we did not know anything, I called again several times, trying different phone options until eventually I got through to someone and she put me on hold to find out what the issue was. When she came back and informed me that the owner of the property decided to pull the listing and they didnt have anything else to give us so they issued a refund instead. No explanation as to why we were not informed. Now this was the first I had heard of this ever happening and asked what could be done. She just said they dont have anything and we had to find a different place to stay on our own. I found this unacceptable and pushed for more answers and she said she would have Chris, the listing agent, give me a call in an hour. When Chris eventually did call us, all he could do was offer us a smaller place that was farther away and would cost us more money.To this day we still do not know why we had to contact them to find out the property was pulled and our reservation cancelled. Had I not called or seen the refund alert, we would have flown to Florida with no place to stay.I would not ever recommend ever staying at any property listed by Mid Florida Home management. They clearly do not care what happens to people who book at their listings nor do they take any responsibility for what happens. If not for the refund, I would have suspected this a scam to get more money out of desperate people. Regardless this was poor way for them to run their business and they left us scrambling just days before our trip. Their only tactic was to shift blame to a nameless property owner.

Great company, the owners literally put their name and phone number on the door of each rental property they manage. This was our first vacation home rental experience so we didnt know what to expect. The house we rented was better than expected thanks to Mid-Florida Home Management. The biggest lesson we learned was that management company is more important than the property if you want to stay in a clean well kept place. We will be back, but next time we will rent directly from Mid Florida Home Management, not save the fees, but do we know we will be staying a properly cared for property. Well done Chris and Michelle you have a great company and just earned clients for life.

Talk about an unprofessional group. Tried to rent through VRBO, they wanted me to send them credit card information through email. I messaged them and said I had done my credit card information through VRBO and pointed out some discrepancies with the contract they sent versus what the policy in VRBO was and they replied back very rudely and canceled my booking. I am seriously worried this place is a scam but if not they need to take some classes on customer service.EDIT: Feel free to read the owners response below. I think they prove my point more than I did. Pointing out VRBO already had my CC info and asking for it outside was a violation of VRBO polices and that turned to dumping my booking. In fact the quote they take from my email is I would hate to have to report this to VRBO and for them to boot you off their site for violating the terms of service for using the VRBO service. Not intended as a threat. Trying to point out that wasnt allowed on VRBO and would rather resolve it then being forced down the route of canceling and reporting issues to VRBO. Do yourself a favor, pay a few more bucks and book with someone else, I did.I mean wow, turns out people dont just care about getting refunded, they also care about being treated well. I hope their customer service improves, but I wont be finding out. Enough to scare me away.P.S. One more thing, slander is spoken, libel is written, and its not libel as long as you share the facts about your interaction on a public review forum.

They never responded the phone when we tried to call them, they never let us fix our mistake and immediately removed our reservation that we tried to reserve two weeks ago.

We stayed at Aruba Palms. The property was great. This was our 2nd trip to Windsor Palms resort. Everything was as described. Very easy to deal with and responsive to any needsWe will definitely book with Mid-Florida Home Management again, and highly reccomend them.
